Chapter 10
Hello all Storm here with a new chapter! Here we'll be seeing the battle against Hyper Perfect Cell and seeing just how far the Z-Fighters will be pushed against this new threat, only for them really quickly just how outmatched they are. So, without further ado.

The moment the Z-Fighters reached Cell, all of them became little more than blurs to those watching at Kame House, along with Jimmy and Larry, who were watching from a safe distance, behind a rock outcropping. Both of the normal humans looking at the fight in amazement and shock, at what little they could see. Given how fast the Z-Fighters and Cell were moving, making it seem like they were invisible, to the untrained eye.
The only thing that showed they were still present, was them momentarily reappearing, along with the shockwaves from exchanging blows. While they couldn't see everything that was happening, what they did see made Jimmy and Larry believe that the fight was evenly matched, giving them hope that Cell could still be defeated.
This, however, couldn't be farther from the truth.
The Z-Fighters were completely aware, that the moment the fight started; Cell was simply toying with them. Since he kept smirking, the entire time, while any attacks or blasts he threw at them, weren't as powerful as they'd normally be.
This was because Cell wanted to get a feel for his new power, holding himself back from accidently killing them. Since Cell wanted to use the opportunity, to get a feel for his new strength.
While the Z-Fighters were throwing everything they had at him, but nothing they did, so much as left a scratch on Cell. It also didn't help, that Gohan and Trunks were still being controlled by their rage, from awakening Super Saiyan 2, making them attack, blindly.
Suddenly, Cell vanished in a burst of speed, before Piccolo doubled over in pain, coughing up blood, as the Bio-Android reappeared with his elbow buried in his stomach. Before he was sent flying into the ground, forming a crater, where he landed. Smirking at this, Cell turned around, before forming multiple Death Saucers, before launching them at the Z-Fighters, who dodged them as Cell remotely controlled them.
Naruto quickly flew in front of them, using his Energy Absorption ability to absorb the attacks. Something he normally doesn't use, given he had infinite energy, but the Saiyan Android knew, that now wasn't the time to ignore any of his abilities. They needed every advantage they had against Cell.
"Special Beam Cannon!" Cell shouted, firing the much bigger Ki blast at Naruto's unguarded back, with the Saiyan Android just barely able to turn around, and start absorbing it, before he was unable to take anymore, and was blasted back.
*Kame House*
Meanwhile at Kame House, everyone could only look in shock and fear, at what they were seeing. With Launch still comforting the distraught Bulma, who now not only had to deal with learning her parents are gone, but now having to worry about watching her friends be killed.
"It's okay, it's okay." Chichi said, comforting the whimpering baby Trunks, along with Videl and Lime, who were shivering in fear, as they watched Cell ruthlessly beat the Z-Fighters.
'Master Roshi, please hurry.' Ox-King mentally pleaded, hoping the Turtle Hermit would get there in time, before anyone died, not wanting Chichi to suffer from seeing either her husband or son die.
It only got worse for them, as they saw Cell seemed to be moving faster and hitting harder, then he was before. As even through the crystal ball, they could hear what was clearly bones breaking, whenever Cell hit one of the Z-Fighters.
*Cell Games*
"AHAHAHAHAHAHA! Oh, this is the greatest feeling, in the world! Every cell within me is vibrating with pure power! I haven't just become all-powerful, I am power!" Cell said, grinning wickedly, as he finally had a feel for how much stronger he's become, meaning he could start really cutting loose.
Glancing behind him, Cell smirked, as he saw Piccolo trying to attack him from behind. Turning around, Cell gathered saliva in his mouth, before spitting it out Piccolo, the Namekian's eyes widening, when he saw his body start to turn to stone, where the spit hit him.
Seeing that the spit had landed on his legs, Piccolo acted fast, and quickly cut off his legs at the waist, grunting in pain, as he did so, before flying away from the fight, to take the time to regenerate.
Cell then turned around, and opened his mouth wide, before he started devouring the aura's of the Saiyan's Super Saiyan 2 transformations, though not devouring too much, not wanting to go over his limit.
Goku raised two fingers to his forehead, and Instant Transmissioned behind Cell, only for the Bio-Android to use Kai Kai, and appear behind Goku. While surprised by the quick teleportation, Goku teleported again, with Cell doing the same, and immediately spin kicked the Saiyan away, before once again teleporting ahead of Goku, and punching him.
"Ahaha! You'll never be able to beat me with that inferior teleportation technique, Goku! Unlike you, I don't need to focus on a person's signature to teleport. I can teleport anywhere, to any planet, any object, anyone!" Cell said, emphasizing his point, by repeatedly teleporting around the battlefield, while knocking Goku around, ending it with an axe kick, sending him crashing into the ground.
The Z-Fighters were getting more worried with each passing moment, as Cell was basically playing with them. Already showing that if he wanted to, he could kill them all, before they could even react. But instead, he was purposefully toying with them, like a predator playing with its food, before eating it.
It didn't help, that any of their attempts to go on the defensive to think of plan, were shot straight to hell, with Gohan and Trunks refusing to let up in attacking. Resulting in the others going into attack, as well, not wanting the two Half-Saiyans to get themselves killed, by going at it alone.
Cell smirked wickedly, as he blocked Trunks's punch, while dodging Gohan's right hook. Getting behind the younger Half-Saiyan, and viciously kicking him in the back, sending him crashing into Trunks, before Cell teleported above them, and slammed his clasped hands down on them, knocking them out of the air.
Flying after them, Cell went to reduce them both to ash, wanting to relish in the others pain, at watching them die. Only to stop, as he got an even better, and more sadistic, idea of what to do with them.
Landing in front of the two downed Half-Saiyans, Cell aimed his hand at them, making the others tense in fear, that he was going to kill them.
"Leave them alone!" Goku shouted, rushing Cell to save his son and Trunks.
Only for everyone to be shocked, when Gohan and Trunks suddenly appeared in front of Cell, and slammed their fists right into Goku's face, sending him flying back.
Getting up, Goku looked at the two, only for his eyes to widen, when he saw the M's on their foreheads, and the twisted smirks on their faces.
"Gohan, Trunks, bring me Goku's head." Cell ordered, the controlled Half-Saiyans, with the two immediately shooting after Goku.
*Kame House*
"No!" Screamed Bulma, Chichi, and Lime in horror at seeing Gohan and Trunks being controlled by Cell, and now being forced to fight Goku.
The sight only tearing at everyone's hearts even more, with it only getting worse, as Goku didn't make an attempt to fight back, only dodging and blocking their attacks. It was bad enough, they had to fight an even stronger Cell, now they had to worry about being forced to fight each other!
The group could only watch, and hope that something would happen, to help them.
*Cell Games*
"Gohan, Trunks! Snap out of it, I know you're both in there somewhere!" Goku shouted, trying to get through to the Half-Saiyans, and break Cell's control over them.
Only for the two to continue attacking Goku, being even stronger and faster, thanks to the power up they gained from the Majin Marks. With Gohan suddenly appearing behind his father, and delivering a spin kick to his head, with Goku being sent flying through the air, only to gag, when he came to an abrupt stop, when Trunks clotheslined him.
Meanwhile, down on the ground, Piccolo stood up panting, having fully regenerated his lower half. Looking up the fight, the Namekian mentally cursed at seeing just how outmatched they were, knowing that no matter what they did, they wouldn't be able to defeat Cell.
'Everyone, listen! We can't beat Cell, he's just too strong for us to handle! The only thing we can do, is seal him away!' Piccolo thought, contacting the others, minus Gohan and Trunks for obvious reasons.
'Piccolo you can't! If you use the Evil Containment Wave, you'll die! And what'll happen if you fail?!' Goku thought, dodging a punch from Trunks while blocking Gohan's kick.
'We don't have a choice Goku! And I will survive, I'm stronger than Roshi and Tien, when they tried it, so I can use it safely. I just need Cell to be distracted long enough, for me to prepare, and seal him away.' Piccolo mentally said.
'We can get his attention on us, just do whatever it is you need to.' Naruto thought, with Lazuli, Lapis and Gebo nodding in agreement, before charging Cell.
Seeing this, Piccolo jumped back, and pulled out a jar, like the one Kami had tried sealing him in, years ago. Having originally brought it just in case the original Cell proved stronger than they anticipated, now having to use on Hyper Perfect Cell.
'We have one chance.' Piccolo thought, as he prepared to use the Evil Containment Wave, waiting for the right moment to use it.
Up in the air, the Androids were clashing against Cell, only for the Bio-Android to block all their strikes. Cell suddenly blocking Lazuli's punch, before grabbing her arm and swung her into her brother, knocking them back, before turning to Gebo, and punched a hole straight through his stomach, tearing out numerous mechanical parts, as the large Android fell down to the ground, as his systems began short-circuiting.
Creating a Death Saucer, Cell threw it straight at Naruto, before also firing a Big Bang Attack, with the Saiyan Android absorbing the Death Saucer, only to blasted by the second attack. Cell then turned around and grabbed Lapis by his head.
"Ultimate Blitz!" Cell shouted, firing the blast straight at Lapis, sending crashing straight into the ground.
Before Lazuli could react, Cell appeared right in front of her, kicking her in the abdomen, launching her right into a cliffside, before reappearing in front of her, and burying his fist in her stomach, as well. Lazuli gasped in pain, as she was forced deeper into the cliffside, before slumping over unconscious.
"And then there was one." Cell said, turning to see Naruto, fully healed again, along with panting heavily, as even with the Zenkai boosts he's gotten, and his energy absorption, he still wasn't a match for Cell, and even worse, he's starting to get tired, as well.
And that's not counting, that he didn't know Cell was able to absorb his Super Saiyan 2 aura, having believed the Bio-Android, just absorbed the surrounding light.
Meanwhile, Goku was being overwhelmed by Trunks and Gohan, none of his words being able to get through to them, or pass Cell's control. Though, after a few moments, Goku realized the only thing left, that could get through to them.
With that in mind, Goku stopped defending himself, and just floated in the air, not trying to block or defend from the two Half-Saiyans' attacks.
"I won't fight you two. You can attack all you want, but I won't fight back. Even if you do try and kill me, I won't fight you, because I know you're both in there somewhere, and I won't give up on you guys." Goku said, grunting in pain as Gohan and Trunks attacked him mercilessly, before suddenly jumping back, as they began charging Ki.
"Galick Gun…FIRE!"
"Masenko, HA!"
"I believe in you both." Goku said smiling weakly, before crying out in complete agony, as the attacks hit him.
Goku's cry of pain seemed to work, as Trunks and Gohan's eyes widened, losing the darkness in them.
"DAD/GOKU!" Gohan and Trunks shouted, quickly stopping their attacks, revealing Goku's injured body, before he fell out of the sky, crashing into the ground, with the two Half-Saiyans immediately flying after him.
"D-dad! I-I, I'm sorry, I didn't…" Gohan said, looking at the state his father was in, the state he and Trunks put him in.
"Ehehehe, don't worry…about it…besides…you're both…in control again…" Goku said, grimacing at the pain and injuries.
"Piccolo, we need Senzu Beans!" Trunks shouted, with the Namekian nodding, before throwing the bag of beans at them, to heal Goku.
Only for them to suddenly be blasted and reduced to ash by Cell.
"Oh, did I forget to mention? Senzu Beans are tournament illegal." Cell said, smirking, before turning his attention back to Naruto.
Gohan and Trunk's eyes widened at seeing the Senzu Beans destroyed, before anger and self-loathing filled them, knowing it was their fault for letting themselves be controlled. With them both planning to fix their mistake, and end this quickly, so they can get Goku medical attention.
Back with Naruto and Cell, the Saiyan Android grunted as Cell lifted his leg up, slamming it into his chin, launching him up into the air. The Bio-Android then got into a stance and charged up his Ki.
"KamehameHA!" Cell shouted, firing the attack straight at Naruto.
Quickly righting himself, Naruto held out his hands, and began absorbing the blast, gritting his teeth as his aura flared up, even more. With Cell seeing this, and began absorbing Naruto's aura, pushing the light into the Kamehameha Wave, turning it from blue, to a bright gold color.
This also resulting in Naruto absorbing even more energy, until he soon reached his limit, but continued absorbing more energy. It didn't take long until Naruto's energy absorption unit was overloaded, and couldn't take in anymore energy, leaving Naruto open as the Kamehameha blasted right into him.
When Cell stopped his attack, it revealed Naruto's damaged body. With his arms being destroyed, and having been knocked out of his transformation, before he plummeted to the ground below.
*Kame House*
Videl cried loudly as Bulma held her with the woman having tears streaming down her face, both of them devastated at the state that Naruto was now in. Chichi and Lime being the same position, for what happened to Gohan and Goku.
While both Chichi and Bulma felt pain and sadness at their sons did to their husband/childhood friend, respectively. None of them even sure how things could get worse, than they already were.
*Cell Games*
Cell laughed wickedly to himself, at seeing the state all his opponents were in. Before he suddenly grunted in pain when he was blasted in the back by Gohan, with Trunks quickly following up by appearing above Cell, delivering an axe kick to the Bio-Android's head.
Looking, Cell was momentarily surprised at seeing Trunks and Gohan managed to break free of his control, before making a "Tsk" sound.
"Alright, you runts wants another beating, then I'm more than happy to oblige." Cell said, with the two Half-Saiyans glaring at Cell before rushing him, taking advantage of the power boost from their Majin Marks.
Meanwhile, Lazuli, Lapis, and Gebo had managed to regain consciousness, and seeing Cell was distracted, went to go help Naruto and Goku. With Lazuli grabbing Naruto, while Lapis and Gebo grabbed Goku, getting the two away from the fighting.
Back in the air, Cell laughed as Gohan and Trunks were managing to keep up with him, and get a few hits in.
"I'm actually impressed! You two are fighting, rather than just rushing in, only to be knocked around! You even managed to hit me a few times. It's just too bad that you could only do it, after I gave you more power. Speaking of which, I'll be taking it back now." Cell said, holding out his hand, Gohan and Trunks rushed him, only to faulter, as their Majin Marks vanished, and their power returned to what it used to be.
Cell taking advantage of this, teleporting behind the two Half-Saiyans, and slamming their heads together, before tossing them straight into the ground. The Bio-Android floating down after them, with a sinister smirk.
"It must really hurt. Not the beating, but the fact that the only way you stood a chance, was by me giving you power. And even then, I was still holding back against you. Now, you can die knowing you never even stood a chance." Cell said, aiming his hand at them, intent to actually blast them, this time.
'No! I don't have a clean shot!' Piccolo thought, cursing himself at not being able to seal Cell away, without worrying about Gohan and Trunks getting caught in the process, as well.
Piccolo then looked to see Goku struggling to stand up, despite Gebo and Lapis' protests.
"Goku, what're you doing?!" Piccolo demanded, as the Saiyan stood up, panting.
"Making sure I take Cell down." Goku said, before using Instant Transmission to appear behind Cell, before grabbing him in a full nelson, surprising the Bio-Android.
"What're you doing?!" Cell demanded, struggling against the hold, but Goku refused to let go, before he began gathering every ounce of his energy, creating a dome around him and Cell.
"Dad!" Gohan shouted, worried about what his father was planning.
"Trunks, Gohan! Both of you need to get out of here, along with the rest of you!" Goku said, not wanting any of them to get caught in, what he was about to do.
Not wanting to disobey him, both Half-Saiyans quickly flew off, along with the others. With Lapis and Gebo grabbing Jimmy and Larry, as they flew away, knowing what Goku was planning, and could only hope it worked.
"You fool! If you do this, you'll kill yourself!" Cell shouted, not believing Goku was willing to go this far.
"I know. But if it means taking you with me, then it's a sacrifice I'll gladly make!" Goku said, before giving a loud shout as he released all the energy he stored up, with him and Cell being engulfed in a gigantic explosion of Ki.
The others had managed to fly to a safe distance, before looking back at the explosion in shock and sadness, knowing that such an attack was Goku's last resort.
When the explosion faded, it revealed the devastated landscape, along with no sign of Goku or Cell.
*Kame House*
Chichi fell to her knees, crying, as her father held her close and comforted her while Bulma and Launch putting their hands on her shoulders. Offering their own comfort to the woman, knowing she just lost her husband, after nearly losing her son.
*Cell Games*
Gohan gritting his teeth, as he punched the ground repeatedly, angry at himself for not being strong enough to control his anger, to resist Cell's mind control, and not being able to fight the Bio-Android.
'Dad, I'm so sorry!' Gohan thought, blaming himself for his father's death, but could at least accept that he managed to take Cell down with him.
The other Z-Fighters hung their heads in silence at Goku's sacrifice.
Unfortunately, it didn't last long as their heads snapped up in shock and horror when they could still sense Cell's energy.
Looking up, they could only look on in stunned silence, as Cell's body regenerated itself, with the Bio-Android floating down, and smirking at them.
"You still don't understand, do you? I am beyond such attempts to kill me; I have my regenerative powers, combined with those of my two counterparts I absorbed. It doesn't matter the strength of the explosion, I will simply come back, again and again. And every time, I'll come back more powerful than ever!" Cell shouted as he flared his power, with it now being even higher than before, thanks to the massive Zenkai Boost he received.
All while the Z-Fighters could do nothing, all of them being too tired and injured, to even think of fighting.
'Now's my only chance!' Piccolo thought, refusing to let Goku's sacrifice be in vain, as he rushed forward, and placed the jar on the ground.
"Evil Containment Wave!" Piccolo shouted, holding his arms out, as Cell was covered in swirling green energy, the Bio-Android not looking the least bit concerned.
"You honestly think, I didn't account for you trying to seal me away? Evil Containment Wave Reflection!" Cell said, reversing the technique back at Piccolo, the Namekian being shocked as he felt himself, being sucked into the jar.
Thankfully, before Piccolo could share the fate of his father and Kami, Roshi finally arrived and placed the electric rice cooker on the ground.
"Maybe you did, but you didn't take into account me! Evil Containment Wave!" Roshi said, using the technique on Cell.
"What?!" Cell shouted, his eyes wide open, as he felt himself being forcibly sucked into the rice cooker, unable to reverse Roshi's, as well as Piccolo's.
"No, no, no, NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" Cell screamed, as he was sucked into the rice cooker.
Seeing this, Lazuli rushed forward, and quickly slammed the lid of the cooker shut, sealing Cell within it.
"Good riddance, you overgrown bug." Lazuli said before slumping forward in relief, that it was finally over.
The others also slumped forward, relieved that the battle was finally over, and Cell was taken care. But even so, it didn't come without a cost, with Goku having given his life to try and kill Cell, and Roshi giving his life to seal him away.
'And even if we get a new Guardian and Dragon Balls, it'll be too late to revive everyone.' Piccolo thought, as Goku wanted to wait until after Cell was taken care of, before finding New Namek and get a new Guardian, to restore the Dragon Balls, given Cell's boost in power, they didn't want to risk reviving everyone, just for them to die again.
Now, even if they managed to revive they Dragon Balls, by the time they do, it'd be too late to revive everyone.
"We're uh…we're sorry for your losses." Jimmy said as he and Larry came out of where they were hiding, with the Z-Fighters looking at the two humans for a few moments, before nodding, acknowledging their words.
The two humans then began making their way back to the news van, thankfully having left it far away from the original arena, to get back to the city, and report what just happened.
*Later*
After some time, the Z-Fighters looked up when, they heard a plane engine, and saw a Capsule Corp Jet coming towards them, before landing in front of them.
With everyone from Kame House running out, the moment the doors opened, and began helping the Z-Fighters inside. With Ox-King and Chichi helping Gohan, Lapis helping Trunks, Chiaotzu helping Gebo with his telekinesis, while Lazuli and Bulma helped Naruto.
With Naruto immediately being glomped by a worried Videl, with Lime doing the same to Gohan, both having been worried about them, after everything they saw.
After laying Naruto down in the infirmary/lab, Lazuli pulled him into a hug and kissed him, which Naruto gladly returned. Both having been constantly worried that they would have lost each other against Cell but were relieved they were still alive.
"Trunks! Are you alright?" Bulma asked, hugging her future son, with Trunks returning it, as tears fell from his eyes, as with the fighting done, everything finally hit him.
His entire world was gone, his future mother having been absorbed by Cell, everyone he knew, having been absorbed, including his grandparents, and his world was destroyed. And it was all his fault, just because he didn't go back, and check to make sure he really killed Cell.
"Mom, I'm so sorry. Everything that's happened, it's my fault, just because I didn't go back, and make sure Cell was dead. All those people he absorbed, that he killed, my future, it's all my fault." Said Trunks, filled with hatred and self-loathing, before Bulma pulled back, and placed a hand on his cheek.
"It's not your fault. No one blames you for what happened, the only ones at fault are Cell, and Gero, for creating a monster, like him. You couldn't have known this would happen, none of us could have. So don't blame yourself, for something you couldn't control. Alright?" Bulma asked, with Trunks staying silent for a few moments, before nodding shakily.
"Alright." Trunks replied before going to sit down, still coming to terms with everything that happened.
Nodding, Bulma then looked over to Naruto and Lazuli, going over and hugging the Saiyan Android, as well.
"I'm glad you're alright." Bulma said, with Naruto patting her on the back.
"Can't get rid of me that easily." Naruto stated while smiling lightly.
That thought just reminded Bulma of how close they all were to dying, and not just the rest of the Z-Fighters, but everyone else as well, if Cell had killed them.
Without thinking, and due to the high emotions and hormones, Bulma pulled back, and pressed her lips against Naruto's, surprising the Saiyan Android at her action. Though just as quickly, Bulma pulled back, shocked and mortified at her own actions, while looking between Naruto, and the stone-faced Lazuli.
"I-I'm so sorry! I-I d-don't know what came over me!" Bulma said.
"I'm sorry, I was just surprised, and didn't know what to do." Said Naruto, looking at Bulma and Lazuli, not wanting her to be angry at him.
Lazuli raised a hand, silencing them.
"It's fine, I understand. Tension and emotions were running high, and you just acted. But I'm sure we have things to talk about." Lazuli said, before pulling Bulma away to a different room, so they can talk in private, with Naruto watching them go, before laying down, and soon falling asleep, with Videl falling asleep on top of him, having refused to let him go, after he got on the plane.
After going to a secluded corner, Lazuli looked at Bulma with her arms crossed.
"So, anything you want to tell me?" Questioned Lazuli, with Bulma gulping nervously.
"I…I…I like Naruto. Okay, I like him, and I'm sorry. He's just…a really great guy, and Trunks, the baby, one, really likes him, too." Bulma admitted, knowing she had grown to like Naruto during their time on The Lookout and at Capsule Corp, as they got to know each other.
*Flashback*
Bulma ran frantically through Capsule Corp, searching for baby Trunks, who had managed to crawl away, when she wasn't looking.
'I only looked away for a second! Where could he have gone?!' Bulma thought, worried for where Trunks was, and hoped he wasn't hurt, or worse, somehow got out of the compound.
The woman then stopped when she heard the familiar giggling from her baby, and quickly began following it, finding herself in the Atrium. With Bulma being surprised and relieved, when she saw that Trunks was perfectly fine. The reason for his laughter being, that Naruto was holding the baby, and making funny faces at him.
'He's really good with him.' Bulma thought, smiling at how happy Trunks looked, and how Naruto seemed more comfortable with holding him, than the first time.
Though Trunks then caught sight of Bulma, and reached his arms out for his mother, this also getting Naruto's attention, as he looked at Bulma.
"Oh, sorry, I didn't see you there." Naruto said, standing up and walking over to Bulma, handing Trunks to her.
"It's fine. I was actually looking for this little troublemaker when he wandered off." Bulma said, giving Trunks a stern look, with the baby tilting his head in confusion, not knowing what he did.
"Yeah, I was actually training when I saw him show up. I didn't want to leave him there alone, so I picked him up, and just started…playing, I guess." Naruto replied.
"Well, you seemed to have gotten better at holding him. You looked like a natural earlier." Bulma said, smiling at the Saiyan Android, with Naruto shrugging slightly.
"I just did what I've seen you do with him." Admitted Naruto, having seen how Bulma interacts with Trunks, and tried doing what she's done.
"What I do?" Bulma asked, surprised, with Naruto nodding.
"Yeah, I saw how good you are with him, and tried doing the same thing. You're a really good mom." Naruto said, surprising Bulma again, before she smiled.
"Thank you. But to be honest, I was a little worried about having a baby, and raising him on my own." Said Bulma, having been worried, when she learned she was pregnant, even more so, since her baby would be half Saiyan, which would make things even more difficult.
She was just glad, that her parents were there to help her through it, otherwise, she might have stressed herself out, and worrying about making a mistake.
"Well, from what I've seen, you don't have anything to worry about. And given how the older Trunks turned out, I'd say you did a pretty great job, raising him." Naruto said, while smiling at Bulma, which she returned.
"You really think so?" Asked Bulma.
"Definitely. And while I don't know a lot, if you ever need anything or any help, I'll be there." Naruto said making Bulma looking at him in surprise, touched at his offer.
'He really is something special.' Bulma thought, smiling, while feeling her heart skip a beat.
*End Flashback*
"I'm so sorry, Lazuli! I didn't mean to develop feelings for Naruto, they just happened! He's just such a nice guy, sweet and caring, and I just couldn't help, but start to like him! I know you must be angry and hate me, and I'll understand if you want me to stay awa-" Bulma said, with tears in her eyes, expecting Lazuli to want her to stay away from her and Naruto, from now on.
Only to be silenced, when Lazuli pulled her into a hug, with the blue-haired woman feeling a little hopeful, that Lazuli would forgive her, and they could still be friends. Though before Bulma could say anything, she was then surprised, when Lazuli pulled back, and promptly kissed her, right on the lips.
'What?!' Bulma thought, her eyes wide open in surprise, at what just happened, definitely not having expected Lazuli to do this
When the blonde Android pulled back, she smirked at Bulma's stunned expression.
"I'm not angry, in fact I'm glad you actually have feelings for Naruto." Said Lazuli.
"Wh-why?" Bulma asked, completely confused at what was happening.
"I'm bi. And while you developed your feelings for Naruto, I'll admit, I developed feelings for you, as well." Lazuli said, brushing some of Bulma's hair out of her face.
*Flashback*
"Is this really necessary?" Lazuli asked, walking out of Bulma's closet, wearing some of the woman's clothes.
They were currently in Bulma's room, after she had dragged Lazuli up there, and offered to let her use some of her clothes, until they could get her, her own. Lazuli had tried refusing, since she could go buy her own clothes, with Gero's credit card, but Bulma had been insistent.
Though the female Android had still been unsure, as she tried on different outfits.
"Yes, it is, you can't keep wearing the same thing. Also, that outfit looks really good on you, though maybe different colors, would be better. Maybe silver and dark pink." Bulma mused, while looking Lazuli over, and her current outfit.
Looking at herself in the mirror, Lazuli had to admit, she did look good, and was tempted to go find Naruto, and see what he thought of it.
"Why are you so nice to me?" Lazuli suddenly asked, with Bulma looking at her in confusion.
"What?" Bulma asked.
"Why are you nice to me? Naruto, I understand since you've just met him, and he hasn't done anything to you. But me, why are you nice to me? After everything, my brother and I did to your counterpart in the future, killing all your friends, destroying most of your world, and tormenting you and your son. And yet here you are, helping me pick out outfits. Shouldn't you hate me, and want me dead?" Lazuli asked, having been confused at Bulma's kindness to her, after learning about her future counterpart, and everything she did.
It didn't make sense to the blonde Android, that Bulma would be nice to her, despite knowing all that.
"I never hated you, or your brother. Even when I first learned about the Androids, I didn't hate you, after hearing everything you did, maybe I was afraid but I didn't hate you. Then I actually met you and saw that you weren't just killing machines created by Gero, you're actual people, with your own thoughts, feelings, and personalities. Not just mindless machines, who's only purpose is to kill and destroy. So no, I don't nor did I ever hate you. In fact, I'm glad that I met you and that we're friends." Bulma said, smiling at Lazuli, with the Android looking at her in surprise, before returning the smile.
"I'm glad we're friends to Bulma." Lazuli replied, touched by her words and that she saw her as more than just what Gero turned her into, or what she could have become in the future.
'Oh, if I wasn't with Naruto already.' Lazuli thought, looking Bulma up and down.
Though maybe, after the Cell Games, she could see about making their relationship more…interesting.
*End Flashback*
"I…wow." Bulma said, looking at Lazuli with wide eyes, not expecting this to happen.
"Yeah, I know it's surprising, and a lot to take in. But I promise, we'll talk to Naruto about this together. And after everything that's happened, it's a reminder of all the threats out there, that could one day show up. And I'd rather not have any regrets, if we end up facing something we can't beat, or seal." Lazuli said, with Bulma nodding in agreement.
"Yeah, no regrets." Bulma said before surprising Lazuli when she leaned in and kissed her, with the blonde Android soon returning the kiss.
After separating, the two went back to Naruto's room, smiling slightly, when they saw Naruto asleep with Videl.
"I'm gonna go check on Trunks. Will you let me know when Naruto wakes up?" Bulma asked, with Lazuli nodding, confirming that she will.
With that, Bulma exited Naruto's room, in the infirmary/lab portion of the jet, to check on her son, while Lazuli sat down next to Naruto's bed.
So, what did you think, good. Yep Cell has gotten so powerful, he was literally using the Z-Fighters as a warmup to test his new strength, before proceeding to play with them after he got feel for his new power. Leading to him not only incapacitating them several times, but also taking control of Trunks and Gohan while in their berserker rage, only being snapped out of after Goku lets them critically injure him. Before Goku goes and uses a Kamikaze attack hoping to take Cell down with him, only for Cell to regenerate fully intact and stronger than before. But thankfully Cell is defeated by Roshi's timely arrival and seals Cell away, winning them the day but at a cost. Then we see Bulma kissing Naruto due to the tension and emotions of the situation before getting flashbacks showing how she bonded with Naruto and Lazuli, the latter revealing her own feelings for Bulma.
