It was midway through the dinner hour for the majority of the workers, as Shadow walked about with two of his men following close behind. He kept them mainly patrolling a perimeter around those eating, as he had solo men walking amongst them. Things seemed calm as usual, that was until Shadow turned to see someone shouting and making their way closer to him.

"Hey Spike!" The male squirrel panted a bit as he got closer to the hedgehog. "Spiky! Mr. Splinters!"

Shadow now scowled and grunted as Sandy's brother finally stopped right in front of him as he laughed a bit while he caught his breath. "This better be important, Squirrel." Shadow stated sternly as he crossed his arms and looked down at the other male. His two men each took to one of Shadow's sides as they pulled their sidearms from their holsters and now held them pointed towards the ground.

"I was hoping we could have a word." Randy smiled as he took one last large breath. "I don't care if yer friends stay around fer our conversation, as it's yer business, and don't affect me none." Randy looked at the two men standing at his side and smiled as they looked back at him ready at any moment to strike. Randy then looked back to Shadow and smiled larger. "Ok then, so my Pa just gave Sa-"

"Leave us!" Shadow cut Randy off and barked at the men following him. The two weasels wasted no time walking away to continue their patrol without their superior.

Randy stayed silent a while longer as he watched to two men walk off before returning his attention to the angry hedgehog in front of him. After a moment of staring at one another Randy finally decided to continue with their conversation. "My Pa wants ya ta stay away from Sandy."

Shadow let out an honestly amused laugh, so loud it vibrated a bit through the small squirrel's body. "Your fathers seem to be at a loss on who is in charge here." Shadow snarled at the male squirrel as he still kept the amusement in his mockingly smiling lips.

"Nah he knows, but he told mah sister ta stay away from you, and because I care about her and don't want her in trouble, I wanted take ask ya to do the same." Randy's smile had gotten far less cocky as Shadow had begun to speak, and now, he was trying his best not to let it turn into a frown of terror.

"Your sister is trouble! That's the only reason I waste my time with her. Your father should be thankful I'm the one keeping a main watch on her, as if it was any of my men, she'd end up with a bullet in the head instead of a night in shackles." Shadow took an intimidating step towards Randy causing the squirrel to step back in worry.

"I think he's more worried about her idea of ya instead of yer idea of her." Randy spoke with a little fear in his voice.

"She's taken more than a few swings at me, so unless that is her idea of foreplay, I don't think your father needs to worry." Shadow continued to look down sternly at Randy.

"She tried ta hit ya?!" Randy asked in shock.

Shadow let out an excessively long tired breath. "We came to blows, but there is no reason your father needs to know that." The hedgehog looked at Randy in warning. "I'd love to never have to deal with your sister again. Just keep her in line." He now turned away from the squirrel and started to walk the path his men had taken.

"I will!" Randy called out. "She's ta me be my wife." To Randy's surprise Shadow stopped at looked back at him with the same disgust his sister had just days ago.

"Fucking southerners..." Shadow shook his head in disapproval before starting to walk away again. He hid fairly well how upset the male squirrel's information had caused him... at least for a while. By the time his rounds were over he took an early leave and made his way to the guard's mess hall where he helped himself to far more than his normal fill of beer and wine. He had hoped the alcohol would calm his nerves but only found himself becoming far more infuriated.

Shadow tried to eat, but found himself too upset to shovel much food into his mouth, as at this point, he only saw potential for his liquid anger. After a while of hearing those around him laugh and talk he finally stood up and left his barely eaten plate before him, but first finishing off the last of his drink and making his way outside.

The male hedgehog, who was likely in his mid-twenties, stubbled around a bit until his intoxication got the best of him and he ended up right outside the new squirrel family's tent. He stood there for a while looking in as one small lone light was lite and he could head a small voice reading off something. He continued to watch until the light was blown out a few minutes later. At that time he decided to make his move tossing open the front of the tent.

He could hear the individuals inside standing and stumbling about as the light from many fires from the outside poured in. Shadow took a step back and waited for the male head of household to step out so he could tell him the many thoughts flowing through his mind at this drunken moment. However, to Shadow's surprise the whole family walked out on the defense to find him. He noted Sandy's careful look went to worry after seeing him.

"What the fuck?!" Dean yelled at the property lawman breaking into their tent.

"It's mah fault, Pa!" Randy called out as he stepped closer to his father. "I talked ta him early and got him mad. It's mah fault. I just wanted ta protect Sandy!" Randy reluctantly confirmed.

Dean kept his eyes on Shadow. The older squirrel was definitely upset, but Shadow could see the excessive amount of fear he was trying to hide. Dean then looked away from Shadow and punched his son in the face. The blow was so hard it caused Randy to fall to the ground where he twitched a little. The two females squirrels knelt down to try to care for Randy after taking his punishment.

"OH..." Shadow chuckled showing his intoxication. "Aren't you a big man? Beating on your son for having more balls than you?" Shadow walked up and pushed his chest against the older squirrel's face as he looked down and him and grinned tauntingly.

Dean looked up at Shadow as his angry started to fade and be replaced with caution. "Mah son, had no right ta approach ya. Ya best be off now." Dean tried to take a step back and lead his family back in their tent but was stopped as Shadow gipped tightly on Dean's night shit collar.

Shadow then pulled him in closer. "Are you telling me what to do, squirrel?!" He demanded.

"Shadow!" Sandy screamed looking at him with more anger than he'd seen from her until this point. "Go away!" She demanded. She couldn't help but force her dominating tone at him as she could tell he was drunk. It was the same way she dealt with her brother in such a state.

Shadow kept her father tight in his grip as he glanced towards her. "Your whole family has been nothing but trouble for me. And now you, a woman, are giving me orders?" He now let go of her father as he approached her. She continued to look at him forcefully as he did her. "This will be settled tonight!" He demanded as he took Sandy by the arm and drug her off. He didn't even bother to look back as he warned her family. "Any of you that follow us will be killed on site!"
