New York City, 2016

"Pete! Hey! Thanks for the catch!"

"Hey, yeah, no problem! Mr. Stark contacted me and said you were in trouble."

"Yeah, that's one way to put it..."

The Spider-teen was stuck to the underside of the bridge, hidden from sight, and now she was hidden as well, wrapped in some of his webbing, safely secure.

"That was actually kind of fun," Kass admitted. "It reminded me of bungee jumping - only you weren't sure if you were going to be caught or not at first."

"Let's not make a habit out of it." Tony floated over, his mask falling away to reveal his face. "Thanks for showing up on such short notice, Kid."

"Anytime, Mr. Stark! Happy to help!"

"Hey, it's a Wednesday, shouldn't you be in school?" Kass asked him.

"Yeah, I faked having to go home sick."

"Classic."

"Hey, it worked."

"You okay?" Tony asked her.

"Yeah, that was interesting. Thanks for the help."

"Of course, anytime."

"So, now what?" asked Peter, eager as always when it came to hero work, especially with the Avengers.

Kass sighed, decided. "I think I've got to go meet my sister."

"Wait, you have a sister?!" cried Peter. "That's cool! I didn't know you had a sibling."

"Yeah, neither did I. But I don't know how cool it is - I think she may have set me up with the authorities."

"What makes you think that?" Tony asked.

"Ross said they got an 'anonymous tip' that I've been assisting Klaue."

"Agent Ross or Secretary Ross?"

"Agent."

"Huh. Do you really think it could be her?"

"I got arrested right after the break-in with the note from her - I don't think that's a coincidence."

"Who broke into where?" asked Peter, desperately trying to keep up with the rapid conversation.

"But then, when Ross cornered me - still Agent Ross - he told me Klaue's dead."

"Really? Like actually dead? For sure?" Tony confirmed.

"Yes."

"So it was all just a ruse."

"Yeah, basically, to see if I knew anything or had anything to do with it. He was just trying to keep it all like a formal interrogation so Secretary Ross wouldn't know. So I've got to go."

"Where are you guys going? Can I come?"

"No." Tony shut that down right away.

The teen's face fell. "What? Why not?"

"Because it's probably dangerous. And personal," Tony told him.

"Family issues, apparently," Kass added. "Sorry, Pete, but it's probably best if you sit this one out."

Peter sighed. "Ah man, I was really hoping to get out of my English quiz..."

"Bye Pete, thanks again for your help," Kass called. "Say hi to May from me."

"Yeah. You sure I can't come?"

"Yes. I won't let you miss any more school on my account," Tony insisted.

"Fine... Well, just let me know if you need any help."

"Don't worry, we will."

They waited until they saw him enter the apartment building before driving away.

"So where do we have to go?" Tony asked.

"Rome."

"Ah."

"Yeah, I know, we were just in Europe."

Rome, Italy

"You sure this is the right address?"

"Yeah."

"You sure? It's in Italian, maybe we should get F.R.I.D.A.Y. to translate-"

"I speak Italian, Tony!"

"Yeah I know, but - okay, fine, let's go."

Kass and Tony sat in a car outside the apartment building whose address had been given to Kass in the note from the break-in.

"Wait, wait, I've got to go, myself," Kass told him. "All it said was an address, apartment number, and 'come clone'."

"Oh come on, that's the red flag of all red flags!"

"Tony, she's my sister. How bad can it be?"

"Well, speaking of siblings, you know Thor and Loki..."

"Okay yeah, but that's different. All I know is I've got to do this. Alone."

He sighed, not thrilled about it, but understanding. "Then go. I'll be waiting here if you need me."

"Okay, thank you."

"But I'll be listening in - closely. So if I hear anything that sounds even the least bit sketchy, I'm coming up."

"Okay. Good to know you'll be in my ear."

"You nervous?"

She heaved a sigh. "Very. For the longest time I thought the only living blood family I had was a vicious black market arms dealer. I mean, I have no idea what this Regina is like, but she's family."

"Then you go give her a warm welcome. Got your gun, and your Invisi-tech?"

"Yup, got it all. Wish me luck."

"Good luck. And remember, I'm here if you need me."

"Thanks Tony." And with that, she disappeared inside the building.

The door to the noted apartment was slightly ajar when she stood before it - someone was clearly expecting someone.

Well, here goes.

She gently pushed the door open, which creaked slightly, revealing a very sparse apartment. It looked as though someone was in the process of moving.

Her footsteps tapped gently on the floor as she stepped inside. There was no sign of anyone here.

"Oof!" Suddenly, something slammed into her from the side, knocking her off her feet. It quickly became apparent that the something was someone when Kass found herself pinned to the floor by a young woman.

She didn't get a good look at her, though saw a flash of raven hair, for her fight instincts kicked in and she activated the Invisi-tech. The look on the young woman's face was priceless when Kass literally vanished before her eyes.

This gave Kass the upper hand though, and she started to fight back. The young woman was a skilled fighter, but if she was being honest, Kass had seen more skilled.

Pretty soon it was Kass's turn to knock her opponent down and pin her to the floor. She de-activated the tech so they started at each other.

Kass stared down at the young woman. "Nice to meet you too - Sis."

Yup, this was inspired by Yelena and Nat's reunion in the 'Black Widow' trailer because I love it so much! ;D

Thank you so much for reading and I hope you enjoyed this chapter! :)
