A/N So… As I told you guys I would be writing a chapter from Jace's POV. But instead of writing one of the previous chapters in his POV, I decided to write this chapter firstly from Clary's POV and then write the same chapter from Jace's POV, which would make you aware of both side's opinions of events. And if you read my previous Authors Note: DISCLAIMER , you would see my opinion of this story. I decided that from now one, I would add the disclaimer in every author note, until everything works out. So:

Disclaimer 1: As someone who has been bullied, I know that a love story between a bully and a victim can not be this easy. As seemed from the platforms name, it is just a fiction. But I also want to say, this love story between Clary and Jace is not going to be that easy. I also want to note that, Jace is not exactly a bully, but more of a tease. People like Sebastian are bullies. You haven't seen a lot of Sebastian scenes, but he gets physical with his victims, thus making him the real bully. But Jace being just a tease, doesn't mean that the relationship between Jace and Clary is going to develop that easily. Note that even though Jace is not exactly a bully, he and Clary are not the bestest friends. So there is going to be some drama between them. I just want to say this to people who got bullied: I have been bullied heavily since I even began elementary school, so don't take this story as disrespect, because believe me, I would have want every bully in the world to understand their mistakes and befriend or fall in love with people they did unfairness to; but life is not that easy, and as I wrote before, this is just a fiction.

With all respect,

The author of the story.

Disclaimer2: I don't own the TMI, but the plot.

It had been two days.

Two days since the kiss in cafeteria.

To say the truth, Clary had never been fan of dramas, especially the ones that came as a gift, as you enter high school life.

She had never been a part of it either, she never had been topic of the daily gossip.

Now as she was texting her best friend Simon, she was disappointed in her school peers. They could not stay drama free.

Chewbacca: Fray, u told me it was just a kiss. Idk if people are lying, but from the looks of it, u and jc had a full make out session in caf ;D

Clary frowned. She had refused to go to school after this humiliating event, telling her mother that she was ill. She didn't make this kind of excuses often, so her mother had believed her. Her best friend Simon was currently reporting everything that happened at school; mainly the new gossip about her and Jace's relationship.

Me: LEWIS, DO U WANT TO BE DEAD IN THE NEXT 24 HOURS? Do u believe me or those brats?

Chewbacca: Ok chill out firecracker, ofc I believe u

Me: Firecracker?

Me: Don't tell me u wrote my name as firecracker!

Chewbacca: Well…

Me: And I wrote ur name as Chewbacca it suits u}:D

Chewbacca is writing…

Clary didn't bother to look at the new message her friend send. She was trying everything in her willpower to forget about school and everything that was going on in there.

She was so bored, and drawing would remind her of art classes she attend to, so she decided to reorganize her book shelf in order to forget about every thing.

She was busy organizing her bookshelf when she found one of her all time favourite books, The Book Of Fate. She normally loved this book, and would read it a hundred times, but she hadn't come across the book for at least two months. And as if the universe was playing with her, this book had come across her when it hadn't even been a full day since her conversation with Isabelle, which was incidentally was about fate. Now without wanting to, she remembered their conversation.

Flashback-

Clary was lying on her back, staring at the ceiling, while Isabelle was talking about Simon, as always. Clary was half-heartedly listening to her; she found the cracks on the ceiling more interesting then Isabelle and Simon's relationship.

"Clary are you even listening to me?" Isabelle asked from the other side of the phone.

"Yeah I am, but I am also kind of distracted, you know, with everything going on, right now." Clary said with honesty.

Isabelle sighed.

"Clary, you know I think Jace actually likes you. And I mean like likes you. Like fancying-"

"Yes Isabelle, I understood what you are trying to say," Clary said rolling her eyes at Isabelle, even though she couldn't see her. "But you couldn't be more wrong."

"Clary, are you blind or are you blind?"

Clary scoffed in a very unladylike way.

"Clary, whenever you are in a room, he just keeps staring at you with this dreamy eyes as if- as if-" Isabelle cut in the middle of the sentence.

"As if?" Clary asked back.

Isabelle sighed again.

"As if he is in love with you Clary."

Clary chocked on her spit.

"Clary are you okay?" Isabelle said sounding concerned.

Clary didn't bother answering her concerned question.

"Isabelle! Are you mad? He may as well as fall in love with a rubber duck then me!"

"No" Isabelle said.

"What I me- What?"

"I said no. He is more likely to fall in love with you then a rubber duck."

"Isabelle are you feeling alright? Do you need to go to the hospital? What in angel's name are you talking about?"

" Jace has a fear of ducks. It is kind of genetic." Isabelle said calmly.

Clary blinked at the new piece of information.

Then blinked again.

And then blinked again.

And then, she began laughing.

Maniacally.

"Clary? Clary are you there?"

Clary didn't answer. Instead she continued laughing hysterically.

"Oh my god Clary, you are just like Jace I swear the angel. You guys are meant to be. A couple made in Hell. It is fate." Isabelle said from the other end of the line, to still laughing Clary.

End of the flashback-

Clary stopped organizing the shelf, and flopped onto her bed. Then closed her eyes.

She was a girl who believed in science and facts.

Not fate.

Not dreams that will never come true.

She was definitely not the kind of girl who with an accident needed to kiss her long time enemy and fall in love with him. Not when the same person called her "Shrimp", which she hated.

Falling in love with him wouldn't be her story.

Jace's POV

It had been two days.

Two agonizing,l long days since he had kissed Clary, and hadn't seen her.

Now sitting in the English class, listening to talk about "Proud and Prejudice" without Clary was boring.

Without the constant sound of pencil against paper as she drew, little humming sound she made, and the way she bit her lower lip when she was too concentrated on her doodles…

Jace did realized that a normal person, especially someone who showed you only hatred, wouldn't be abled to pay attention to those little things. He did realized that you weren't suppose to tease someone just to see the fierce side of their quiet character.

He also did realize that you wouldn't be able to do those things, unless…

…Unless you had even the littlest romantic feelings towards this person.

Jace was aware that his romantic feelings towards his Shrimp was not so little.

He knew that every time when he would call her Shrimp, even though she wouldn't show it, she got kind of insecure about her red hair.

Her fiery red hair.

But the reason Jace did this, was not to just annoy Clary. There was reasons behind it all.

To love is to destroy, and to be loved is to be destroyed, Jonathan.

There were two reasons behind his actions.

First of all, his late father's words had craved themselves in his brain.

He first began teasing Clary when they were in elementary.

He remembered the first time he saw Clary clearly.

He was eight.

There was a new girl, coming from a small town.

From what he knew, she had an older brother in middle school.

She was also two years younger then Jace, yet in the same grade as him.

She was probably a good student like Simon Lewis; Jace had never spoke with him, but he admired the way Simon studied hard.

When she entered the class, the eight years old Jace was taken aback.

He was expecting a girl who was blonde or brunette with blue or brown eyes.

Instead there was a girl who looked like five, and she had long red hear with green eyes. Jace, who had never seen a child with red hair was awed.

At the end of the class, she seemed to befriend Simon Lewis, which was a good thing, that kid was always so lonely and shy.

After about six months, Jace had developed a huge crush on Clary, and she didn't even know Jace existed.

He had done everything to have just one conversation with her, but she never acknowledged him.

As month went by, Jace watched as Clary drew, painted and played games with Simon.

Jace's already big enough crush grew day by day.

Then one day, young Jace remembered something.

To love, is to destroy, and to be loved is to be destroyed, Jonathan.

If you care for someone deeply enough, don't love them or show them affection and kindness.

You will be doing them a favor.

What if he fell in love with her? He would destroy her.

Jace wanted no such thing to happen to Clary.

So he had to stop smiling whenever he saw Clary.

He had to stop helping her whenever she couldn't reach the shelf to pick pencils.

Most importantly, to make sure Clary was safe,

He had to make her hate him.

A/N So I don't know why this chapter was kind of depressing, but I had a long day, that can be the reason. I also revealed a tone of things, and just to be clear, Jace had a difficult childhood while growing up with his real parents, Celine and Stephan Herondale. By the way guys, I don't know if you payed attention, but "Proud and Prejudice" is actaully the first original enemies to lover book/classic, I justed wanted to hint it. If you want anything to be changed in the story, or if anything is not clear, please review, I really appreciate reviews on how to make my story better. Have a good day and Stay safe!
