Hi All, this story has come to an end. Thank you for taking the time out to read. Loved all reviews and PM's both good and bad. I really hope you enjoyed this story.

Disclaimer: I don't own any characters or HP... And I certainly didn't make any moola outa it.

Epilogue

"Are you sure she's here?" a green, jittery looking Harry asked and the groomsmen groaned.

"Come on man! Pull yourself together. And for the hundredth time yes, Hermione is at the end of the altar. Besides, 'Lex is right; that woman is crazy about you and wouldn't run out on you. So, relax, you're fretting over nothing" Dan whispered frustratedly and Harry sighed in relief. Remaining calm only for a record 20 seconds until anxiousness overtook him once more.

"The rings? I asked the goblins to have it ready yesterday. Do you have the rings?" Dan had just about enough and was on the verge of accio-ing Hermione just so that Harry would stop this frantic babbling that he was doing since this morning.

"No, I forgot" he gasped and feigned being shocked.

"Enough Harry, I swear I will accio Hermione"

Harry looked peeved for about a second before exhaling, "I just want everything to be perfect"

"Well it is! Stop overthinking it or you just might ruin things. Besides, it is the vows that will make all if this worthwhile. So, focus on that" he spoke softly and Harry nodded.

He had no time to ponder his vows as the bridal party made their way down the altar and his heart skipped several beats as the person he longed to see was beaming brightly at him on the arm of her father as they approached. It was a cliché, describing a bride gorgeous on her wedding day but life is full of clichés.

He understood now why it was considered bad luck for the groom to see the dress before the wedding. The surprise was worth the wait. She was wearing a muggle wedding dress but by Merlin it was something. It was princess beading lace, off the shoulder short sleeve cathedral train number. There were appliques scattered on the dress and were in green and gold. His favourite colour on her. I made sense when she suggested his robes have green accents. But what stood out completely was the hooded cape that complimented the dress. It was a replica of her Mage robe and almost immediately his blood temperature rocketed. As she got closer it was unmistakable, she mentioned that she had a surprise for him and oh how he would enjoy it.

Everything was a blur to him from then on. There were tears and laughter. Everything befitting their union.

He sat at their table and smiled as he watched Hermione dance with Dan. He pondered their journey together and it was weird to think that he, Harry Potter, the boy who lived with his little brother in a cupboard under stairs; deprived of so much in their childhood until his eleventh birthday, finally had his happy ending. His reunion with Hermione in France and then their abrupt rift. He was in a bad place and he realised it was not a place he wanted to remain in, which he forced himself to see a mind healer.

It was revealed as clear as day on the night she was introduced to them as the Mage. She was a part of his world. The turning point was when he assumed, she was dating Emile, his world had turned on its axis. Thanks to his run in with the Grangers, he finally decided to get his shit together. Upon his return he made it clear that he wanted her, not in the best of ways but he could not help it. She unknowingly invoked all these emotions from him. Their impromptu vacation to the Maldives was the defining moment for him. He had left momentarily to pick out a ring for the most important question of his life. After his abduction, encounter with death and subsequent rescue, their lives yet again had taken a turn, this time for the better.

With their help, the Ministry had managed to flush out all the rats and heal the wounds left behind by those that have rotted the foundations of the magical world. Hermione had become a consultant to the Department of Mysteries and often consulted with the Minister himself. Her reputation had increased exponentially after Harry's abduction. He was proud to call her his, not that he did not before. But it was the thought of her being a bad ass agent made it even more so. She could only give him bits and pieces of her secret life, but he coveted every bit of it. It almost made him feel a smidge of regret for not joining the Aurors.

They agreed on a longer than usual engagement, only a year after Dan and 'Lex had tied the knot. Well, as long as Narcissa allowed, apparently it was unbefitting to have an extended engagement amongst the Noble houses tradition dictated, not that it mattered as both he and Hermione were happy with the duration.

"May I have this dance, Mister Potter" he was jolted out of reverie by the voice of his wife.

Giving her a crooked smile, one reserved just for her, "Most definitely, Missus Potter" he said leading her to the middle of the dance floor.

He held her firmly in his arms as her head laid against his chest, listening to his steady heartbeat.

"Are you happy with how the day turned out love?" he whispered, and she sighed in contentment.

"It was, no it is perfect" she smiled before leaning to capture his lips.

"So, are you are you going to tell me where are going for our honeymoon?"

"That is a surprise" he smiled and kissed her.

And what a surprise it was, Harry had planned 6 weeks across five different continents, starting in Africa. They had spent a week in Marrakech, Morocco. They had spent a week learning of the culture and food. Hermione had taken to the city like a moth to a flame, nothing like something new. And the Arabian nights were hot too. Then they were transported to Hawaii and spent the week basking in the sun and surf not to mention the hikes in different parts the island.

South America offered even more adventure and a cultural experience, Peru. They had stopped at two of the most famous sites Peru had to offer and it did not disappoint. The Scared Valley had Hermione high on ancient traditions and to top it off Machu Picchu. Something that left them both in awe.

The week that followed was purely rest where they landed in Dubai. Everything about Dubai reeked of luxury, something they both needed after the previous weeks.

After Dubai, they headed to Quebec, enjoying the laid-back atmosphere it offered.

There last stop was Hermione's surprise wedding gift. Harry had purchased a holiday home in Mykonos. He told her that he had done a bit of homework and learned that she had always wanted to by a home in Greece.

Hermione was literally blown away by the gesture and at the same time angry. She almost lectured Harry's ears off and while she loved and appreciated it, eventually they would make these decisions together. The make up sex that followed was, for the lack of a better word, explosive. And that would be the same night that they conceived their first of four children.

They were shocked to learn of her pregnancy, firstly they agreed that they would like to get accustomed to married life before they added. In a few years, just not so soon and Secondly, they were very careful with contraception. The news was a shock to their system but not unwelcomed. They found a rhythm very quickly and like all thing Harry and Hermione, it was harmony. Sirius and the Grangers were overjoyed at the prospect of a grandchild. Dan and 'Lex too were excited and joked about Harry's no holds barred approach with Hermione.

Aiden James Potter was born the exact date the Healer had predicted. Born with the signature Potter raven hair but he had been graced with hazel eyes. Studious, mischievous and a fanatic on a broom, much to Hermione's chagrin.

Two years later Hermione had fallen pregnant with their daughter Lily Rose Potter, a mini Hermione in every sense of the word, except she had the signature raven hair and his eyes. They were content with the beautiful pair they were blessed with and were stunned three years when the twins Evan Orion Potter and Hailee Jane Potter's arrival.

Harry never knew he could feel this much love for his family. He had grown up in the worst possible way and was drilled that he did not deserve love or to be loved by his muggle relatives and was content as long as Dan grew up without being exposed to that.

All of that changed when he was reunited with the girl that change his life. She made him want to make himself emotionally available and covet it all.

The End
