You're host is Kuri?" Allen said.

"Shh, Lady Rhode! Shhhh! Don't spread information about who we are to these outsiders!" Lero said.

"Why not?" Rhode said.

"You just can't, Lero!" Lero said. "Our making contact with them is not in Lord Millennium's plan, Lero! You already took me without permission! If you go against orders again, His Eminence the Earl will spank you rosy, Lero!"

"Millennie wouldn't do that to me. This is just a little ad-lib, to make the story more interesting. Such a little thing won't change his plan."

"Lero..." Lero said.

"Why... would Kuri..." Allen said.

"Why? Why are you so mad? Can't you believe that I'm your precious little Kuri, Allen-wa?" Rhode said mockingly. She stepped over to the paralyzed Kuri.

"Don't! Stop!" Allen said.

Rhode dissolved into a mist and rejoined Kuri. Kuri's eyes came to life, no longer glazed over. Her skin turned grey and her eyes amber. Stigmata appeared on her forehead.

Rhode walked over in the grown up body, in Kuri's body, and embraced the pinned Allen. He flinched. Kuri's embrace. Warm...soft... Her heart was beating quickly against his chest. Allen wanted to hold her...to embrace her in return. But she was...this monster. Rhode.

Allen wanted Kuri back. He was shaking with anger.

"Aren't I warm? Don't I feel like Kuri? I'm Rhode Kamelot, and the way you see me, right now, in this body...this is a little glimpse of the future." Rhode said.

"Why...Why would you work with akuma? Why? We're the same..." Allen said.

"The same? Not quite." Rhode gripped Allen's innocence arm and destroyed her body—Kuri's body—with it.

"NO!" Allen screamed. "KURI!"

"Don't mourn for her just yet..." Rhode regenerated. "You see, we're superior, for we hold the genes of Noah, the strongest human being. We're not the same. We're different from you half-asses! I think nothing of killing you half-assed men. I hate this whole messed up world! You should all just die! God himself wishes for this world to die. That's why he gave Millennie the Akuma."

"That's not God's will! It can't be!" Allen said, struggling to his feet and aiming Cross Beta at her.

"That thing won't make a difference. Can you kill me, while Kuri is my host?" Rhode said.

"I have to..." Allen said mournfully, but his arm was lowering.

"You can't kill me." Rhode said, separating from Kuri and moving over to where Rei was.

"Ice Fire!" Akuma said.

"Wind Blades!" Akuma said.

"Sound Pulse!" Akuma said.

"Allen! You can't fight three Akuma in your condition." Rei said.

"I think I'll set you free, too." Rhode said, aiming her candles for Rei.

"N-No..Help me...No~!" Rei said.

"Lero?" Lero said.

Allen was standing in front of Rei, arm protecting her.

"Allen?!" Rei said.

"Don't move." Allen said.

"Allen! Allen? Don't...Don't die...Allen, don't die!" Rei said.

"I'm...I'm fine..." Allen said.

"What are you doing? What? What's with this woman? What are you doing?" Rei said.

"Really, what am I doing, I wonder. What do you hope to accomplish? What can a half-ass like you do?" Rhode said.

"N-Nothing at all...But...But I..." Rei said.

"Are you an idiot?" Rhode said.

"Yes, I may be...But still, I can't give up. No matter how bad I am at something, I keep at it. I know that I can't do anything but I still try. If I know I'm no good at something, why do I even try? It's stupid indeed..." Rei said.

The clock began to glow and chime, a large barrier surrounding them and sucking away their time.

"Huh? What's this? I feel a presence..." Allen said.

"The clock? Inno... cence?" Rei said.

"Rei..." Allen said.

"Allen, are you all right?" Rei said.

"It seems you really are its accommodator, Rei." Allen said.

"Accommodator?" Rei said.

"Yes." Allen said.

"What is this? Lady Rhode, may I touch it?" Akuma said, and Allen's hand came out and attacked it. "Lady Rhode!"

"His hand..." Rhode said.

"Hand?" Akuma said.

"It wasn't damaged..." Rhode said.

"Kuri!" Allen said, pulling her, chair and all, into the dome. "Kuri! She's alive!"

"Allen, is Kuri all right?" Rei said.

"She's fine. There are no external injuries. I think that the sound-generating Akuma attacked her, causing some nerve damage." Allen said.

"Oh no! She's not all right, then!" Rei said.

"She will be. She just needs to stay in here for awhile." Allen said. I can't tell her she is Rhode. I don't think Rei saw, or if she did, she's keeping quiet, too.

"Eh?" Kuri woke up. "Allen?"

"Kuri." Allen said.

"Kuri!" Rei said.

"Timcanpy! There you are!" Allen said.

"I was dreaming..." Kuri said.

"What about?" Allen said.

"It was about the past... I don't remember, though." Kuri said.

"Are our dreams being sucked out as well, then?" Allen said.

"Sucked out?" Rei said.

"Haven't you noticed? We were saved by your Innocence." Allen said.

"Me? My Innocence?!" Rei said.

"The Innocence that you activated sucked away the time after I became injured." Allen said.

"My... Innocence..." Rei said.

"Thank you, Rei." Allen said.

"Thank you?" Rei said.

"Thank you, Rei." Kuri said.

"Me? Me?!" Rei said.

"Innocence, activate!" Kuri said. "Sacred Arrow! Hit the Mark!"

"That's the exorcist girl we just fought!" Akuma said.

"Damn!" Akuma said.

"I can't see a thing!" Akuma said.

"Amazing..." Rhode said.

"Allen?" Kuri said.

"See you. Now! Right! Where are you, Exorcist?!" Akuma said.

"Right here!" Allen said firing on him with Cross Beta.

"Bastard! Damn you!" Akuma said.

"Kuri!" Allen said.

"You...You exorcists sure are cool!" Rhode said.

"End of the line, Rhode!" Both said.
