A/N : Another quick update on this one, as I do like going back to when Mikki and Sebastian were only just starting to date and how they had to get use one another's family.

This is set just before senior year of college, and when they moved in together. All characters belong to their rightful owners, except for Mikki, Eric, Midge and Jeremy which cannot be used without my permission.

Chapter 10

Arranging to move in together, during the summer break between their junior and senior year, and even though they'd not got an acceptance on any of the places that they had gone and looked at to hopefully live in. Mikki and Sebastian, started organizing to buy that of their own stuff and also as well pack up that of their rooms at their parents house to an extent because they'd be needing more of what they had not been able to take with them to college for their apartment together.

Heading to Mikki's parents house for the weekend, two weeks after what had been Easter break and where they had also come to Greer and Spartanburg to spend time with their families.
Mikki had promised to Marley who was a senior in high school and was going to be heading to her senior prom, had asked her older sister if she were able to come and help her as well as one of her friends from high school get ready.
Standing behind Marley, as she curled her younger sister's hair with a curling iron and one of her hands gloved with the heat proof glove so that she would not burn her hand whilst doing so. Mikki unpinned a top layer of her sisters hair as she let the curl loose from the curling iron, and her sister's hair cascading down.
"Marissa should be here soon" said Marley, looking to her sister and Mikki gave a nod, grabbing the hair heat treatment bottle in her other hand and spraying it on to the hair before parting a section of that hair to then curl. "You don't mind doing her hair do you?"

"Of course not" replied Mikki, looking to her younger sister with a smile as she curled some more hair. "Unless it's a simple curl, it's a lot harder to manage on your own"

"Yeah" replied Marley, with a small nod and smile to her older sister. "And I could never manage to get the curls done even simply then either" she continued as Mikki gave a laugh. "After about an hour my hair would be back to boring straight"

"Preparation, lil' sis" said Mikki, with a smile to her. "Spend the time doing that, and in between and afterwards" said continued, as Marley looked to her. "And your curls will last a long time"

"I guess being on the campus tv station for the past year" said Marley, looking to her. "You would have gotten use to doing your own hair and makeup"

"I have, yeah" replied Mikki, with a laugh.

"Do you think you'll continue working on the tv station, senior year, or do you think with everything you'll be too busy?" asked Marley, as Mikki gave a small sigh.

"I want to continue" she replied. "But not sure how that will factor in, with school work and working an actual job so Seb and I have some money to spend so we can buy food and that"

"The that, being books" said Mikki, with a laugh and Mikki looked to her younger sister with a frown.

"What it's true" said Marley with a smile to her sister. "You can't go a month without buying a new book"

"Hmm, well maybe I will have to get use to the library or even get use to listening to audio books" replied Mikki, with a smile to her sister and Marley gave a nod; and the bedroom door opened.

"Hi" said Marissa, as they both looked to Marley's friend.

"Hey Riss" said Marley with a smile to her friend, and Mikki also replied a "Hi" as well.

"Come on in, and put your stuff on my bed" said Marley as she looked to her friend. "Mikki's almost done with my hair"

"Okay, thanks" replied Marissa, as she put her bag and also the dress bag that she had with her down on Marley's bed. "And thanks for doing this for us Mikki" she continued, looking to her. "It was really nice of you to help me as well"

"It's fine, really" replied Mikki, with a smile to the girl she had known since Marley's time in middle school. "It gives me another weekend to pack up some stuff for moving"

"Yeah Marley was saying your moving in with your boyfriend for senior year" said Marissa, as she sat on Marley's bed. "My parents would never let me do that"

"We haven't actually gotten accepted for anywhere yet, but doesn't hurt to be prepared" said Mikki with a small laugh as Marissa gave a nod. "And I think my parents and also Seb's were a little bit hesitant at first as well" she continued looking to her sister's friend. "But when Seb told them essentially how much it would save, and that particularly interesting my parents, since Marley is only just starting this year and Rod in a few years time. They could see the benefits of it"

"I guess, yeah" said Marissa, with a nod. "But I hope you're moving off campus isn't any indication of what life on campus is like, and you're wanting to move away from that"

"No, it's great honestly" replied Mikki, with a smile to her. "Just the past year, and squishing up on a small single with Seb wasn't the most fun time I've had"

"And if you were to see Mikki and Sebastian together" said Marley, with a laugh and looking to her older sister with a smile. "Then you'd see how disgustingly cute they are with one another, and them moving in together. It's doing everyone a favor as they then don't have to see that all the time"

"Yes, and that" said Mikki, with a laugh.

"I met Sebastian downstairs" said Marissa; the two of them looking to her. "He seems like a nice guy"

"He is" said Marley with a nod. "And annoying to, like what I'd imagine an older brother also to be like"

"Well he thinks you're annoying too" replied Mikki, with a smile and laugh to her younger sister.

"Uh huh" said Marley, with a laugh and Mikki continued curling her sister's hair before she then started on Marissa's; and then afterwards continued to help them both get ready for their senior prom.

Whilst Mikki helped Marley get ready for her prom; Sebastian decided to spend his time with Roderick, and was down in the basement with youngest Kapowski, playing Mario Kart on the Wii console.

"Oh come on no fair" said Roderick, as Sebastian gave a small laugh as he tossed a turtle bomb just strategically enough placed so that Roderick would hit and therefore spin out and allowing him to take the lead.

"Alls fair in Mario Kart" he replied, as Roderick regained control of his character and tried to catch up again. "And besides it nice to win for a change, because playing against Jeremy" he continued with a laugh. "Well he plays really dirty for a game aimed at a younger audience"

"Yeah, I bet" replied Roderick with a laugh as he threw a banana peel as he gained on Sebastian, but Sebastian ultimately managing to avoid sliding on it and continue in the lead.

"Oh man" groaned Roderick, as Sebastian started on the final lap of the race. "After this, I'm seeing if I can find where the wheel controls are" he continued, as Sebastian looked to him with a quick nod. "So much easier with them"

"Yeah, it is" replied Sebastian, with a nod then looking back to the screen as Roderick continued to gain on him.

"So you think you will have a game console at the apartment if you and Mik get it?" he asked, as Sebastian gave a quick laugh.

"I think it would be good to have one, yeah" he replied. "For some downtime occasionally" he continued, as Roderick looked to him quickly with a nod. "A couple of guys at college, have a small television in their dorm room and a console, and it's always good to go and just play a bit sometimes"

"Yeah, totally" said Roderick, as his character passed Sebastian's on screen and he gave a small laugh. "And some of the games can be totally fun as well, and I'm sure Mikki would back me up on that"

"Uh huh" replied Sebastian as he tried to overtake Roderick, who threw a turtle shell at his character and making him spin out of control. "Oh come on"

"Pay back" said Roderick, with a laugh.

"Yeah, we'll just see who wins" said Sebastian as he regained control of his character. "It's not over yet"

"Nope" replied Roderick, shaking his head with a laugh.

"Yep, and for that" said Sebastian, with a small smile. "I should probably ask Mikki to take the PS2 console that you have here, and we can have that for our apartment" he continued, as Roderick, looked to him. "And what how many games do you have for it"

"Over my dead body, will Mikki be taking that" said Roderick, as Sebastian gave a laugh as passed his character on screen.

"You're right that's a little unfair" he said, with a laugh still. "And you need the practice, as well if you want to beat me next time" he continued, as he raced over the finish line. "Winner, thank you very much"

"That's so low" said Roderick, looking to him as Sebastian looked to him with a nod and smile. "Saying Mikki will take all the games and leave me with nothing"

"I guess" replied Sebastian, with a small sigh. "And you know graphic wise, the PS3 and Xbox 360 are better" he continued, as Roderick looked to him. "So whichever one of them you don't want. You can totally donate to your sister and me, because we're totally your faves"

"No, I think Kitty might be becoming my fave sister or even Marley maybe" said Roderick, with a laugh as Sebastian gave a laugh as well. "Besides don't you have consoles at your place still?"

"My asshat of a brother took them with him to Alabama" replied Sebastian, with a sigh. "He took the PS2 and PS3 consoles and all the games on that and also some games too for the Xbox 360 as well and that console too" continued Sebastian, as Roderick looked to him. "I could have murdered him"

"Jeremy" said Roderick, as Sebastian gave a nod. "Let me guess, he said because he worked at GameStop and had bought a lot of them"

"Exactly that" replied Sebastian, with another sigh. "And there is nothing left at home except for that of a few games that Jere was never all that fond of"

"Barbie?" asked Roderick, with a laugh and knowing from when Jeremy had come over last summer how Marley and Kitty had made him play their old Barbie games on one of the consoles.

"No, but that's a really good Christmas to get him" said Sebastian, with a laugh also. "Wonder where I can get the old games"

"Probably eBay" replied Roderick, looking to his oldest sister's boyfriend. "I've been complying a list of games that I never got when younger that look really cool, and even though they may be old now graphic wise and all that" he continued as Sebastian looked to him as well. "I think they will be cool to have still"

"Yeah, I know what you mean" replied Sebastian, with a nod. "We had some really great ones, and Jeremy took them all"

"Maybe a trip to Alabama for you and Miks" said Roderick with a laugh. "And you can take them back"

"That is a good idea" replied Sebastian with a laugh also. "I'm going to go and grab a soda upstairs" he said, looking to the other male. "You want one, or anything else?"

"Umm yeah that be good" said Roderick with a nod and smile to him. "And I think Mom has some chips in the kitchen if you want to grab them as well"

"Sure thing" said Sebastian, as he stood from the sofa.

"I'll look in the cupboard whilst you're gone as well" said Roderick, as he also stood from the sofa. "See if I can find where the wheel controls are"

"Okay" replied Sebastian, with a nod and headed upstairs to the main level and walked through the entrance near the front door of Mikki's parents house and into to the living area where Eric and Midge were sitting.

"Hi" he said, looking to the two adults seated in the living area. "Is it okay if I go and grab some chips from the kitchen"

"Of course" replied Midge, looking to him. "You don't have to ask either"

"Thanks" he replied as Midge stood up from the seat she was in.

"And I'll go grab them for you" she said, with a smile to him. "As I have to hide them from certain people in this house who upon seeing them" she continued, and looking to Eric. "Will eat them all"

"That's directed at me, I know that" replied Eric, with a small laugh as Midge gave a nod and headed to the kitchen. "You got this to look forward to you know"

"Umm, yeah" said Sebastian, with a laugh. "Mik won't hopefully be inclined to hide food from me though"

"Oh she will" replied Eric, with a nod. "And chocolate, especially chocolate"

"Okay" said Sebastian, as Eric gave a laugh and Midge walked back into the living area.

"So, Cheetos or Doritos" she asked, holding the bags to Sebastian.

"Umm Cheetos if that's okay" said Sebastian, and looking to Eric. "Unless they're your favorite and I will then take the Doritos"

"Nope, Doritos are good with me" replied Eric, with a nod and holding out his arm towards Midge who shook her head with a laugh and passed the Doritos over to Eric, and the Cheetos to Sebastian.

"Thanks Midge" said Sebastian, with a smile to her. "Guessing don't have to ask if it's okay to go and grab some sodas from the garage"

"Completely fine" replied Midge, with a nod.

"Yeah, and know I know how many beers I have in the fridge too" said Eric, with a laugh as Sebastian looked to him. "Just in case you were thinking you'd sneak one of them"

"No, I'd not do that" replied Sebastian, shaking his head. "I don't think it's a good look for me to be drinking in front of Rod"

"Good kid" said Eric, with a nod as Sebastian looked to him with a small smile.

"I should get back to Rod with this" he replied, as Eric gave a nod. "Thanks"

"Sure" replied Eric, with a smile to him as he walked out of the living area and back towards the main entrance and headed over to the garage where there was a second refrigerator and drinks were kept and grabbed a couple cans of soda out before walking back into the house; just as the doorbell rang.

Walking over to the front door and opening it, he gave a smile to the girl on the other side.

"Hi, you're Marley's friend" he said, as she looked to him with a nod. "Yeah, come on inside"

"Oh thanks Seb" said Midge, as she came to the front door, and saw Marley's school friend. "I was just getting to the door"

"Figured I was passing by, so opened it" he replied with a smile to her and Midge gave a nod.

"Thank you" said Marissa looking to Sebastian. "You're Marley's sister boyfriend?"

"I am, yeah" replied Sebastian, with a nod. "Sebastian"

"Marissa" she replied, with a smile to him. "Nice to meet you"

"You too" said Sebastian, with a smile of his own to her. "Mik's upstairs with Marley"

"Okay" replied Marissa with a nod. "Is it okay to go up Mrs Kapowski?"

"Of course sweetheart" replied Midge, with a nod as Marissa nodded with a smile. "And I promised your parents too, that I will take plenty of photos for them as well once you are all dressed up"

"Okay yeah" said Marissa with a laugh and headed upstairs to Marley's room so that she was able to start getting ready.

"Yo Seb" came Roderick's voice from the lower level. "What's taking so long"

"I think you're being summoned" said Midge, with a laugh.

"Uh huh" replied Sebastian, with a laugh and then headed back downstairs to where Roderick was t continue playing video games with him whilst Mikki helped the now two girls get ready for their senior prom.

Finishing assisting Marley, and Marissa also with their hair and make up for prom; and their dates arriving around to get them, a couple of friends they were both going with. Marley attending with Scott, a guy who was in a few of her classes and also the Jazz Band, and for Marissa a guy by the name of Derik.
Mikki headed down to the basement where Sebastian and her brother were still playing video games.
"Hey you" said Mikki, going over to the sofa, where they were both seating, and putting her hands on to Sebastian's shoulders. "Having fun"

"Yeah" replied Sebastian, with a laugh as he steered his character on the screen now with the wheel that Roderick had found earlier. "I'm kicking your little brother's butt at this"

"Oh, you're one race up on me" said Roderick, with a laugh. "I'd hardly say that you're kicking butt at it"

"Hmm, have you got another controller and wheel for me to have a go at when you're done with this one?" asked Mikki, as she went and squeezed on the sofa next to Sebastian.

"Umm, there in the tub over there" replied Roderick, pointing slightly to the box that he had located earlier and Mikki looked to him with a nod. "You can have the bright pink controller, and there is a couple of extra wheels in there too"

"Sure, yeah okay" replied Mikki, with a nod as he and Sebastian continued to race on the screen. "We need a game console too, when we move in together" she continued, resting her head to Sebastian's shoulder. "Might not get time to play it much, but still kind of just want one in case"

"Uh huh" said Sebastian, with a nod. "Already told Rod that we're stealing the PS2"

"Yeah, and I said there is no way you are taking that" replied Roderick with a laugh as Mikki also gave a laugh.

"GameStop still sell them used, so we can grab one from there" said Mikki, looking to her younger brother who quickly nodded. "But just know, I am taking some of the games especially the Tomb Raider series"

"As long as you leave Jax and Crash" said Roderick.

"Deal, and as long as I can take the Spryo ones" replied Mikki, with a laugh as Roderick gave a quick nod. "And I'll just check GameStop for the games used and also eBay"

"So Marley and her friend get away okay to their prom?" asked Sebastian, as he entered into the final lap of the game they were on.

"Yeah, she did" replied Mikki, with a nod. "It's strange to think next year Marls will be over in California for school and I won't see her as much"

"Well you still get to see me" said Roderick, as Mikki looked to her brother with a laugh.

"Hmm, stuck with you for another four years more like it" said Mikki, with a smile as Roderick gave a laugh. "You going far away after high school, or are you going to stick around to annoy me still"

"Haven't decided yet" replied Roderick, with a quick smile to her. "Don't even know what I want to actually do yet"

"You still have plenty time to decide that" said Sebastian, looking to him quickly as Roderick's character on screen went past him and took the lead. "I didn't really decide on the idea of doing law until I was in eleventh grade"

"Yeah, just the thought of picking something" replied Roderick, with a sigh. "It's a scary thought"

"That and also there is always the possibility that you could be doing something and not like it" said Mikki, looking to her younger brother. "Kitty, was adamant that she wanted to be a psychologist but now she's not so sure and hasn't declared her major yet"

"So she's still undecided" said Sebastian, as Mikki looked to her boyfriend with a nod.

"She is" replied Mikki, with a sigh also. "Not sure at the moment what she wants to actually focus on as she quote said to me not that long ago. I like a lot of different things and why should I do just one job forever"

"I guess, if you like your job it's easy to do that though" said Sebastian as Mikki looked to him with a nod; since they both had officially declared their majors at the start of their junior year. "But I can also see where Kitty is coming from as well"

"Same" replied Mikki, with a small nod again as Roderick won the game that he and Sebastian were playing.

"Looks like it's a tie" said Roderick, with a laugh as Sebastian came up a close third.
"Okay, yeah it is" said Sebastian with a laugh also.

"Yep, and give me a sec" said Mikki getting up off the sofa and going over to the box that had the extra controllers as well as the accessories in. "And we'll see if a girl can beat y'all"

"Oh, don't count on it" said Roderick, with a laugh and looking to his sister; and set up then Mikki's controller and character on the game and the three of them continued to play some video games for a little while longer.

End Note: I just wanted a chapter really, where we got to see Sebastian and Roderick bond a little bit without that of Mikki around; because it's very evident in the later stories that they have a close bond.

And don't go anywhere, because there is another new chapter right after this one!
