Hey, I'm back with a new chapter.

DCDGojira, thanks again. I understand hahaha, I couldn't watch Fate Camelot on cinemas too thanks to freaking covid. But well, one can hope. And yes, I've heard of Shin Ultraman, which will apparently be a remake of the Ultraman Tv series.

IdeaPerson1097, glad you liked it. Moroboshi is literally an overprotective brother here, he was one who cared for his younger brother in the manga, so I figured it'd be nice to portray that here. And yes, the Limiter Released mode is terrifying but the drawbacks are there.

Karlos1234ify, thanks, hope you like this chapter too.

So yeah, without further ado, here it is.

XXX

Tsubasa wiped her face with a small towel. She had just finished her concert, and she was in rather good spirits.

The idol had given her answer to Tony Glazer's offer on stage, and the producer had been more than happy to follow through. But that wasn't what she was happy about.

No. It was the crowd's very positive reaction to her words. And it had nearly brought her to tears. That of joy, of course.

Shinji walked into her quarters, "You seem in a really good mood."

Tsubasa glanced at her manager and smiled, "Of course. The concert was successful, and we're going international."

The man chuckled, "Unfortunately that means we're just gonna get even busier than before."

The bluenette nodded as she took a sip of water from her bottle, "But it'll be worth it I guess."

Shinji then took off his glasses, "Moving on, while you were having your concert, there was a Noise attack, and Hibiki-san, Shinjiro-san and Moroboshi-san took care of it."

Tsubasa nodded, "I see..."

A smile graced her lips, "Then I suppose I should thank them."

Shinji chuckled, "Yes, I suppose so. If you knew, then you'd most likely have gone off to fight the Noises. And that'd damage your career."

Tsubasa nodded, "Yes..."

The man paused, before speaking, "And umm, Tsubasa-san, the amount of Noises were too many for them to handle, so Shinjiro-san removed the limiter on his suit, and he collapsed."

The girl blinked. She blinked again, "WHAT?!"

Shinji jumped, and he quickly corrected, "He's fine! His body just couldn't take the strain from all the energy!"

That sounded awfully familiar to her and Shinji obviously realized it too, because he opened his mouth to try to placate the girl, but Tsubasa wasn't having it.

The bluenette grabbed her stuff and stared at him sternly, "Where is he now?"

The manager gulped, "Back at HQ, Ryoko-san and the medical staff are looking after him. He should be fine by now."

Tsubasa walked towards the door, "We're heading back."

Shinji sighed, as the girl was already gone, and if he didn't bring her back, the man would bet that she'd use her Symphogear just to go back to HQ.

Shinji quickly ran out of the room to follow after Tsubasa, both of them heading for his car.

Back at the base, in one of the rooms in the infirmary, the door slammed open to reveal Tsubasa, and everyone nearly jumped when she spoke out urgently, "Where's Shinjiro-kun?!"

Shinjiro blinked, "Tsubasa? Is there anything wrong?"

The girl looked at the teen, who was sitting on the bed, wearing a patient's gown, looking perfectly fine, but she still almost immediately appear by his side, grabbing his shoulders, "Are you okay?!"

The teen blinked as she checked over him, "Tsubasa, what are you doing? I'm perfectly fine."

Shinji sighed exasperatedly, "Ah, it's kinda my fault, I guess. I told her Shinjiro-san collapsed from releasing the suit's limiter, and she panicked."

Moroboshi, who had been standing by a side, palmed his face, while Shin and Ide smiled amusedly.

Ryoko smiled, "Hmm, so that's how it is, eh, Tsubasa-chan?"

Tsubasa blinked, "Eh? What do you mean?"

Moroboshi sighed, "Idiot... The brat's fine, just exhausted from using the suit. "

Ide nodded, "Yep. The Ultraman suit is built differently from the Symphogear armors after all."

Tsubasa blinked again, "Oh..."

Shin chuckled, "Speaking of which, you were really worried about my son, weren't you?"

The girl blinked, she blinked again, before blood rose to her cheeks, "Ah..."

Ryoko giggled before she looked at Shinjiro, "Tsubasa-chan's feelings aside, Shinjiro-kun, your body is fine, all you need is a day's rest, and you'll as good as new."

The teen nodded, "Thank you, Ryoko-san."

The woman grinned, "No worries, you gave me quite a lot of data to work with. I'll go sort them out and see if I can improve the suit."

With that said, the scientist turned and left the room. Ide chuckled and turned to the door as well, "I'm heading back to the command center. Give em younglings some space, eh?"

Shin chuckled and nodded, giving his son a knowing nod, much to Tsubasa's embarrassment, before walking out of the room with his friend.

Shinji turned to exit the room too, but not before nudging his friend at the hips. Moroboshi turned to glare at him, but a stern stare from the normally kind man stopped him, before the bespectacled man sighed, and followed them out.

As the adults exited the room, the two teenagers stayed in the room in silence. After a moment, Shinjiro spoke up, "Hey, Tsubasa, are you okay?"

The girl glanced at him, "Idiot, are you really asking me that? I'm not the one who collapsed from using his suit."

The teen chuckled, "Ahh, my bad."

Tsubasa sat down on the bed by his side, "I was really worried, you know?"

Shinjiro nodded silently, knowing what she was referring to, "You were afraid I'd end up like Kanade, right?"

The girl nodded, before she pulled Shinjiro into a hug, "Don't scare me like that...please... I don't want to lose anyone, not anymore."

Shinjiro nodded, "I know... Sorry..."

Tsubasa pulled away, before realizing what she had just done, "And umm, sorry, for hugging you like that."

Shinjiro chuckled, "Don't worry about it. Besides, how many people out there can claim that they've been hugged by the famous Kazanari Tsubasa?"

The girl sighed, "Please don't."

The teen grinned, "I mean, if your male fans find out, I'd be dead, ya know?"

Tsubasa glared at him lightly, "Keep that up and I will tell them, and I'll tell them where you are, see who's laughing then."

Shinjiro raised his arms in a surrendering manner, "Okay okay, you win, I'll stop."

The girl huffed, before she spoke, "But I'm really glad you're fine..."

The teen nodded, "Yeah, I guess..."

Shinjiro then asked, "Speaking of which, how did your concert go?"

Tsubasa smiled, "Well, it went pretty smoothly, thanks to all of you."

The young man nodded, "I see, that's good."

The girl nodded, "And I'm going to go international in the future. A producer from one of the international recording companies gave me an offer, and I accepted it."

Shinjiro blinked, before smiling, "That's great!"

Tsubasa smiled and nodded, "I suppose so. Well, a few of them had been sending me offers for the past few months, but I've always turned them down. I guess it's time I tried something new."

The man nodded, "That's good, I guess."

The girl's smile dropped slightly, "But it means we won't be seeing each other as often."

Shinjiro nodded, "You'll be busy, and you'll be overseas more. It's to be expected."

An idea then came to mind, and Tsubasa spoke, "Actually... I think I might be able to do something about that."

The teen blinked, "What do you mean?"

Tsubasa smiled, "It's a secret, and I don't know if you'll be able to do it, but I'll tell you when I get an answer."

Shinjiro nodded, "Sure, I guess."

She then stood up, "I'll be heading out then, rest well, Shinjiro-kun."

The young man nodded as he laid down on his bed, "Sure, thanks, Tsubasa."

The girl gave him a nod, before walking out of the room.

Meanwhile, Shin and Ide walked along the corridors. Ryoko had headed back to her lab, while Shinji and Moroboshi waited outside the infirmary.

So that left the two older men, and Ide chuckled, "That was cute."

Shin nodded, "It'd seem Tsubasa has changed quite a bit."

Ide nodded, "That girl had been cold and closed off before, I think it was a good choice to have Shinjiro-kun and Hibiki-kun join the team, that girl Miku too."

The former host of Ultraman nodded, "But she's been more open, more expressive of her feelings lately. I guess having people her age with her really helped her a lot."

Ide glanced at his friend, "You sure it's not because of your son? Even back before any of them were here, after Kanade left, the only one Tsubasa ever cared about was Shinjiro-kun."

Shin paused, before he chuckled, "I suppose Shinjiro is a main reason for her change, but you can't deny the others played a role in her change too."

Ide nodded, "I suppose you can't."

Shin opened his mouth to speak again, only for a beep from his phone to interrupt them, and the man brought it out.

Ide looked at him, "What's wrong?"

The former host of Ultraman glanced at him, "It's from Akiko."

Ide blinked, "Akiko? Why?"

Shin looked back at his phone, "Her department just received an encrypted message from the US government. We need to get to Genjuro, now."

The other man nodded, and they quickly headed for the command center.

It took them 5 minutes to reach the door, and it opened, revealing Genjuro sitting in his chair, Aoi and Sakuya sitting at their stations monitoring the area.

Genjuro turned to glance at the door, before his eyes glinted in recognition, "Hayata-san, Chief Ide."

Shin nodded, "Genjuro, may we have a moment? Privately?"

The younger man raised an eyebrow, "Hmm, sure."

He turned and looked at Sakuya and Aoi, "I'll be off with them for a bit, keep an eye on things and radio me in if there's anything going on."

Aoi and Sakuya both nodded, "Yes sir."

Genjuro then nodded to Shin and Ide, and the three exited the command center, heading for Genjuro's private quarters.

The redhead looked at the two elder men, "So, what's up?"

Shin simply passed him his phone, "Look at this."

Genjuro raised an eyebrow, and his eyes widened, before he snapped his head to Shin and Ide, "Is this for real?"

The two men simply nodded grimly, and Genjuro's jaw tightened, "To think this happened..."

Ide looked at him, "What do you make of this? You've worked with her for a long time."

The redhead frowned, "There's nothing for me to say. She's the enemy. Rather, it makes sense, considering all the times she wasn't here."

Shin let out a breath, "Sorry, Genjuro-kun, for springing this on you."

The man shook his head, "No, rather, I should thank you for showing me this. I'll have Ogawa and his team confirm this ASAP, then we'll respond to their proposal."

Ide looked at him, "Are you really fine with this?"

Genjuro let out a sigh, "No, not really. But, I intend to find out the truth."

He looked at them, "Sorry, but can you give me some time alone? I need to think, and maybe blow off some steam."

Shin and Ide shared a glance, before nodding silently and left the room. Genjuro closed his eyes as the door closed shut, and he stayed there for a moment, before standing up and headed for the simulators.

At night, Chris was sitting at a bus stop. The girl frowned as her mind wandered to Shinjiro and Hibiki.

Both of them had her confused, very much confused. Hibiki had, instead of fighting, opted to talk to her, and apparently wanted to be friends with her.

A very annoying thought, considering they were supposed to be enemies.

The same was for Shinjiro. When she first met him, it was on a whim that she'd told him to stay away at night. And then the teen had helped her when she fainted from fighting nonstops.

The two were monsters. She had no doubt about that, but then, monsters didn't talk, they didn't reach out to people who were supposed to be their enemies. It was frustrating.

"Something bothering you?"

Chris looked up to see Bemular floating in front of her, and she frowned, "What do you want?"

Bemular stared at her, "I was flying back from an errand, and I saw you here."

The girl glared at him, "Fuck off, I'm not in the mood."

The alien seemingly raised an eyebrow, unseen to the girl, "Why have you not joined up with the other Symphogears?"

Chris blinked, and glared at him, "Why the fuck would I do that?"

Bemular huffed, "You have no allies, as of now. Finé has pretty much thrown you away, you are alone. Rather, Section 2 is your best bet as of now."

The girl glared at him, "Nobody asked you."

The silver being chuckled, and descended to the ground, "And it is your choice whether you want to join them or not. I am simply offering advice. Nothing more, nothing less."

Chris stared at him, "Why are you telling me this? You tried to kill Shinjiro just a while ago."

Bemular paused, before he spoke, "The Symphogears are essential for my plan, until then, I would have no permanent harm befall upon any of you. Those with the power to imitate Ultraman, especially one with the blood of Ultraman, are hindrances. It is that simple."

The girl simply stared at him, until he floated up again. Bemular regarded the girl, "Think about it, Yukine Chris."

The girl frowned, "I guess I could."

The being nodded, "And before I forget, go visit Finé's compound next Monday, you might find something of interest there."

With that said, Bemular shot up to the night skies, leaving Chris alone, and the girl slowly drifted to sleep, unaware that Bemular had not actually left the area, but simply stayed in the clouds to watch over her.

Later that night, Genjuro and Moroboshi were in a private room, looking over the files Bemular had given them. Genjuro frowned, "This matches up with the info the US gave us."

Moroboshi had easily checked the drive with some help from his acquaintances, and they were clean. With that aside, the two quickly went through all the files Bemular had given them.

Moroboshi nodded, "To think our true enemy was by our side the entire time..."

Genjuro closed his eyes, "Keep your friends close, and your enemies closer. She pulled that off perfectly."

The bespectacled man nodded, before glancing at his commander, "So, what do you plan to do now?"

The redhead looked down at a separate tablet, where the proposal from the US government was, and his eyes steeled, "We join the fight."

Genjuro picked the tablet up, and brought out a phone, quickly making a phone call, "Hello? It's me... about that mission..."

He looked at Moroboshi, "Count us in."

(Linebreak)

A week later, Chris stealthily walked past the corridors, and she peeked into the room, and her eyes widened, "What the fuck?"

Before her laid, multiple dead men, all clad in black and apparently carried rifles. Chris glanced at the spot where Finé usually sat, and she caught a brief glimpse of the word, 'Kadingir' before it quickly fizzled off.

The girl then heard footsteps, and she snapped around to see Genjuro and Moroboshi standing at the entrance, the latter in his Seven suit. Chris' eyes widened, "Wait! It wasn't-"

She was cut off as multiple men rushed into the room, and Chris prepared to fight, only for them to run past her and secure the room. The girl blinked in confusion, "W-what?"

Seven walked past her, and Genjuro approached her, "Nobody is suspecting you."

The redhead looked around, and frowned, "Our allies got ahead of themselves and got themselves killed. And the one who did this was someone you and I know very well... Someone who's been with all of us right from the very start."

Chris' eyes widened, "What?"

One of the men spoke up, "Commander."

Genjuro looked over, and spotted a note on a corpse, and it wrote, 'I love you. Sayonara.'

The man pulled the note off, and as soon as he did, everyone heard a beep, and everything exploded.

Chris' closed her eyes in preparation, but instead, she felt nothing. No, she did feel an arm around her, but nothing more, nothing less. The girl opened her eyes, and noticed Genjuro holding a rather huge piece of rubble above them.

The girl furrowed her brows, as she glanced around. The damage was far too light for something Finé pulled off, "What the hell happened?"

Genjuro let the rubble fall to the ground, "I neutralized the explosion with a martial arts technique."

Chris growled and forced herself away from Genjuro's arms, "I'm not talking about that! Why can someone who doesn't have a Gear like you protect me?!"

The redhead glanced at her, idly noting that all of his men were safe, "Whether I possess a Gear or not, has nothing to do with me protecting you. I'm doing it because, as compared to you, I can be considered a bit as an adult."

Chris' eyes burned with rage at his words, "An adult? I fuckin hate adults! I hate my parents the most! All those idealistic dumbasses... I'm not like them! Saving refugees from wars? Helping the world with songs? If they really wanted to end wars, then all they needed to do was beat everyone up! What kind of adults still pursue meaningless dreams?!"

The fact that she was practically surrounded by adults didn't bother her, or she just didn't care. Nor did anyone react negatively to her, because they all knew of her circumstances.

Moroboshi glanced at the girl from his helmet, "Hey brat, if you really did beat up everyone, can you really end wars like that?"

Chris looked at him, and she found herself unable to give him an answer, not anymore, "That's..."

Genjuro closed his eyes, "Pursuing dreams, huh? You said adults shouldn't pursue meaningless dreams. It's the other way around. It's because we're adults, that we can afford to pursue those dreams."

He stared at her in the eyes, "When you're an adult, you grow up, you learn things, and you gradually grow stronger. You might also find yourself having a bit more cash with you."

Genjuro turned and looked out of the house, "But more importantly, you have freedom, and you have the chance to take those crazy and ridiculous dreams and make them come true."

He glanced back at her, "Do you really think, that your parents went to the battlefield with half-assed preparations? No, I think not. Yukine Masanori and Sonnet M. Yukine both made preparations to survive in that hell, just so that they can realize their dreams."

Chris' eyes widened, "How did you?"

Genjuro cut her off, "They wanted to show you, that it is possible for anyone, for you, to fulfill your dreams."

He slowly walked towards her, "Even if you say that you hate them, I have no doubts, that your parents loved you more than anything in the world."

Those words hit Chris hard, and before she knew it, Genjuro had pulled her into a firm hug. And the girl found herself thinking of her father, her mother, and everyone she had grown to care for before everything went to hell.

So she did the only thing she could do. She wept.

Genjuro gently held the now very much vulnerable girl, and he gave his team a glance. Moroboshi nodded, and quietly ushered the rest of the team to quietly secure the rest of the mansion, making sure everything was clear.

(Linebreak)

The squad Genjuro brought all quickly got on their cars and left the mansion, leaving Genjuro, Moroboshi and Chris.

The girl glanced at the two men, "I think... I really shouldn't..."

Genjuro finished, "You don't think you can come with us?"

He turned to face her, "You're not as alone as you think you are. If you choose to follow the path you're on now, then sooner or later, our paths will meet."

Chris looked at him, "Do you think former enemies can really join up just like this? That's some pretty naïve bullshit coming from an adult like you."

Genjuro chuckled, "Unfortunately I'm born that way."

Moroboshi glanced at her from the car, "Girl, the enemy of my enemy is my ally. Keep that in mind, it's a lesson from an adult who's seen the harsh world."

The girl didn't look convinced, and Genjuro sighed, "You're a tough cookie to crack, aren't you?"

He tossed her a phone, a spare one he'd kept, "Keep this."

Chris easily caught it, and she frowned, "A phone?"

Genjuro nodded as he got onto his car, "Yep. I've loaded a bit of cash in there, you can use it to ride public transport, and I reckon buy stuff from vending machines. Up to a limit of course, but it's pretty handy if I do say so myself."

Chris nodded, before she spoke, "Kadingir..."

Genjuro and Moroboshi perked up, and they looked at the girl questioningly. She continued, "I saw that name on one of the monitors. I don't know what it means to Finé, but there was a relic with that name."

Genjuro nodded, noting down the name because it was one he'd seen in Bemular's files, "Kadingir... Gotcha... I guess we really don't have much time to spare."

He looked at Chris once more, "I'll catch you around. Hopefully the next time we meet, we won't be enemies anymore."

With that said, the car drove off, leaving Chris alone at the compound.

The girl tightened her grip around the phone and frowned, before storming away.

(linebreak)

A while later, Genjuro and Moroboshi were back in the command center. Shinjiro, Shin and Ide were there too, along with Aoi and Sakuya. The only ones missing were Hibiki, Tsubasa and Ryoko.

After a short moment, both Tsubasa and Hibiki's faces popped up on the main monitor. Tsubasa greeted, "Tsubasa here."

Hibiki beamed, "Hibiki here!"

Genjuro nodded, "Where's Ryoko-kun?"

Aoi glanced at the commander, "We couldn't get to her ever since this morning. Nothing went through."

The redhead nodded, "I see..."

As if on cue, a voice call popped up on the main monitor, and Ryoko's voice came through, "I finally got through! Really sorry! I kinda overslept, and my phone died for some reason."

Genjuro shared a glance with Moroboshi, Shin and Ide, and he looked back at the screen, "You alright, Ryoko-kun? Everything good?"

The woman's voice came back, "Yeah, I guess. If you ignore missing the garbage collection and oversleeping, I guess so."

The commander nodded, "Good. Speaking of which, there's something I wanted to ask you."

Ryoko's voice sounded, "Yes?"

Genjuro narrowed his eyes, "Kadingir. What does this name mean to you?"

The woman paused for a brief second, and she answered, "Kadingir is Sumerian for a divine existence. Physically, you can say it's a tower that reaches for the heavens."

Genjuro nodded, "And if someone were to build such a tower, why do you think we wouldn't notice it?"

No one could come up with an answer, and Genjuro let out a breath, "At any rate, we've got a lead on the enemy. All we need is more information, and we can strike."

Hibiki and Tsubasa both answered, "Roger!"

With that said, the two girls' faces popped off from the monitor, and Ryoko spoke, "Well, I'll take care a few more stuff, and then I'll head on over to the base, kay?"

Then, the woman's call ended. Shinjiro frowned, "So, what was this Kadingir?"

Ide looked at him, "It's something we found out about Finé. Apparently it's important to her goals."

Shin nodded, "Yes, and it's paramount that we stop her."

Shinjiro nodded, "I see..."

Genjuro looked at Aoi and Sakuya, "Get everything you can on Kadingir, I'll get the recon squad to do the same."

But before they could actually start on looking up the tower, the alarm sounded, and Sakuya frowned, "It's the Noises! There're six large flying types circling the city."

Genjuro frowned, "I see. Get Tsubasa and Hibiki. Shinjiro-kun, Moroboshi-kun, get going."

Shinjiro and Moroboshi immediately ran to the elevator, and they headed for the city.

The commander looked at the monitor, and he frowned. Shin looked at him, "Are you sure you want to do this?"

Genjuro glanced at the former host of Ultraman, and he nodded, "Yes, even if it turns out to be a trap, it's the only way we can catch her off guard."

Shin nodded and decided to go prep his old suit just in case.

(Linebreak)

Shinjiro and Moroboshi were both suited up, and the former was carrying the latter as he flew across the town, quickly reaching their destination.

The pair spotted a chopper above them, along with a blue bike below them.

"Balwisyall Nescell Gungnir tron..."

"Imyuteus Ame no Habakiri tron..."

Hibiki jumped down from the chopper, and Tsubasa used her bike to boost her upwards, both donning their Symphogears.

In response, the Noises acted, and the six flying types started releasing smaller Noises into the city. Moroboshi frowned, and he looked at Shinjiro, "Hey brat! Throw me!"

The teen nodded, and did just that, flinging Seven right up towards the horde of Noises.

Hibiki pulled her gauntlet up, preparing the piston, and as she fell above a large Noise, she punched, shooting a hole right through the Noise.

Tsubasa, on the other hand, enlarged her sword, and swung it hard at the Noises above, shooting a massive wave of energy at them.

Aoi Issen. Azure Flash.

This was mirrored by Moroboshi, who swung his blade while throwing Eye Slugger knives as he landed on a rooftop.

As for Shinjiro, the Ultraman stayed in the air, taking down Noises with his Spacium Blades and Ultra Slash rings. The teen grunted as he dodged a drill shaped Noise, before using his Spacium Ray to shoot it down. He then proceeded to pull the beam across the skies, wiping out more of them.

Yet, the Noises just kept coming, and while Tsubasa, Moroboshi and Hibiki could provide him with occasional support, they too had their hands tied with the already countless Noises on the ground.

Hibiki frowned as she punched a moderate sized Noise to pieces, and she glanced up to see Shinjiro flying around, doing his best to mow down the seemingly never ending Noises, "How do we take the large Noises down?"

Tsubasa looked up, "They're spawning the smaller types, and we can't get close..."

Moroboshi grunted as he cut down a dozen Noises, "I'd say we use the chopper... but..."

The three glanced at the helicopter Hibiki had arrived on, but by now it was in flames, and fortunately the pilot had saw fit to eject.

Shinjiro grunted as he cut down six more Noises and used his Spacium Ray to wipe out another wave of Noises, "I'll take off my limiter!"

Tsubasa frowned and snapped, "No!"

The teen grunted as he threw several more Ultra Slash rings, "But it's the only way!"

Moroboshi shook his head, "No, brat, you'll only have 3 minutes before your suit shuts down. We can't risk it, especially if the enemy has more up their sleeve. We'll have to find another way."

Hibiki furrowed her brows as she punched down yet another Noise, "But what can we do?"

The two kenjutsu practitioners didn't have an answer. Rather, they didn't need to. Because the answer came in the form of bullets bombarding the Noises, taking out a considerable amount of them.

(play Makyu Ichaival)

Shinjiro glanced down from above, and spotted a familiar lavender girl holding a pair of gatling guns, "That's..."

Hibiki beamed, "Chris-chan!"

Tsubasa and Moroboshi regarded the girl neutrally, saying nothing. Chris simply frowned, holding up a phone, "Don't get me wrong, I'm not here to help. I just simply want to settle things with Finé, and this thing was ringing nonstop, so I thought it'd stop if I joined."

The three seemed to accept her answer, until Genjuro's voice came from the phone, "Apologies, help came a bit late. This is the user of the Symphogear of the Second Relic, Yukine Chris. She'll be working with you lot to keep the town safe."

Chris' eyes widened at the proclamation, but for some reason she couldn't find it in herself to refute it, and instead, blushed.

Hibiki beamed and pulled her into a hug, "I knew you'd join us sooner or later!"

The lavender haired girl frowned and tried to push the cream haired girl away, to no avail, "Get off me..."

Above in the air, Shinjiro yelled as he did his best to take down as many Noises as he could, "NOW'D BE A GOOD TIME FOR MORE HELP HERE!"

Chris sighed as she pulled out her guns, "Don't blame me if you get hit, got it?!"

Shinjiro grunted as he shot his Spacium Ray, taking down a few more Noises, "Just shoot!"

The lavender haired girl pulled the trigger, and unleashed waves of bullets and missiles that easily took down a huge number of Noises, giving Shinjiro some breathing space before he continued wiping out more of the Noises.

Moroboshi nodded as Chris and Shinjiro wiped out the airborne Noises, and he looked at Hibiki and Tsubasa, "We can leave the ones in the air to them, focus on the ones on the ground."

The two girls nodded, and the three quickly went to deal with the ones on the ground as Chris went to one of the rooftops to get a better shot.

Tsubasa slashed through Noise after Noise, and she skidded to a stop, before swinging her blade, summoning a hundred energy blades that rained down upon the Noises.

Hibiki on the other hand simply punched her way through the Noises, quite literally. Every Noise that came near her was either crushed or blown apart.

As for Moroboshi, he used bursts of his suit's acceleration to mow down the Noises, reappearing at different locations every few seconds, with a few less Noises.

Couple with Shinjiro and Chris, the five of them easily reduced the numbers of the Noises. And they would've kept at it, until Tsubasa leapt back onto a rooftop to take a breather, and incidentally bumped into Chris.

(End Makyu Ichaival)

The lavender haired girl's guns retracted, and she turned to glare at Tsubasa, "What the fuck are you doing? Piss off."

Tsubasa frowned, "What's with you? Do you really plan on fighting alone like that?"

Chris glared at her, "I've always been alone. Besides, just because we don't have a reason to fight doesn't mean that we have a reason not to."

The bluenette frowned, "What?"

Chris held a fist up, "We were just fighting against each other a while ago, don't think we can simply be friends just like-"

She was cut off when a pair of hands held her fist, and Chris found Hibiki by her side, "We can, and we will."

Chris blinked, "What?"

Hibiki smiled, "You know, I've always been wondering why I couldn't get my Armed Gear out. I was frustrated that I'd remain a half-assed user. But you know, I'm glad I don't have an Armed Gear now, because I can hold your hands like this."

The cream haired girl let one hand go from Chris' fist, and went to hold Tsubasa's hand, much to the bluenette's surprise, "Tachibana..."

The idol sighed, and stabbed her sword onto the roof, before extending her hand to Chris. The lavender haired girl blinked in surprise, and stared at the extended hand with hesitation, and she slowly reached for it.

But as soon as their hands met, Chris pulled away, a blush forming on her face, "Are you all idiots?"

Tsubasa smiled exasperatedly, "Unfortunately yes, I've also been infected by her."

She paused, and glanced up at Shinjiro, "Him too."

The idol then looked at Chris, "And it seems like you're the same."

Shinjiro grunted, having noticed the little conversation they were having, and yelled as he dodged several drill Noises, "I'd hate to interrupt a budding friendship! But we won't get anywhere if we keep this up!"

Chris looked up to see Shinjiro fighting, before she looked back at her two fellow Symphogear users, "I guess I can join yall... It shouldn't be a bad thing."

Hibiki beamed, "Thank you."

Tsubasa smiled softly and looked up, "Unfortunately, we'll need to deal with the large flying types. Even if Shinjiro-kun is Ultraman, he can't keep up fighting them for a long time."

Chris nodded, "Then I have an idea."

The two girls looked at her, and Chris continued, "Ichaival specializes in long and wide ranged artillery. I'll simply blow em all apart."

Hibiki stared at her, "You don't mean the Climax Song, do you?"

Chris huffed, "As if, my life's not that cheap."

She shook her head, "No, I'll simply raise my Gear's output to the max, and before it overloads, I'll unleash everything."

Chris paused, before adding in, "But I'll only have four shots, so someone will have to handle the other two."

Shinjiro yelled as he dodged another drill Noise, "If you can take out the army of Noises in front of the last two, I can take care of them!"

The lavender haired girl nodded, "Consider it done."

Tsubasa frowned, "But while you charge up, you'll be vulnerable."

Moroboshi landed on the roof, letting out a breath, "Then we'll just have to make sure nothing gets to her."

Hibiki beamed, "Moroboshi-san!"

Seven looked at the three girls, his eyes landing on Chris, "The commander seems to trust you to do the right thing, so I'll put my trust on that. Tachibana, Tsubasa, get moving."

The two nodded and followed the older man to keep the Noises away, leaving Chris to prepare. The girl frowned, "I didn't ask them to help, yet there they go..."

She shook her head, and started to prepare, building up energy from her Ichaival's core.

Chris let out a breath as she started to sing, and the energy from the relic's fragment started building up.

A few Noises seemed to sense the build up of Phonic gain, and shot towards Chris, only to be cut down by Moroboshi and Tsubasa. Chris obviously didn't miss this, but she focused on piling up her energy instead.

Soon, the energy started to take shape on Chris' gear. The skirt armor popped out, revealing a dozen missiles on each side and her gatling guns enlarged, revealing more bullets ready to fire. But more importantly, her shoulder plates grew, forming four supporters that stabbed into the ground to hold Chris in place. Finally, four massive missiles formed on her shoulders, locked and loaded.

Chris let them go, blasting the four missiles at the four largest targets she could see.

Megadeth Quartet.

Not missing a beat, the girl unloaded every other weapon she had, wiping out every single airborne target she could find, "Shinjiro! Your turn!"

Shinjiro nodded, spotting the four missiles aiming for each of the Noises, as well as the absence of all the smaller Noises, and he wasted no time in lining the remaining two Noises in a line. Chris had done her part, and he would do his.

Unknown to anyone, the teen's chest glowed blue inside the suit as he raised the energy output of the suit's Spacium Core, and Shinjiro placed his arms in the famed t shaped position.

Shinjiro let out a roar, and pulled his left arm down, letting out a massive blue beam of pure energy. It wasn't as huge as the one he'd used when he let his Limiter off, but it wasn't that far off.

The Spacium Ray, and the four massive missiles, easily ripped the six enormous Noises apart.

After a moment of scanning the area, Shinjiro found that there were no Noises left, and he landed on the ground, where Chris, Hibiki, Tsubasa and Moroboshi were.

Hibiki beamed and pulled Chris into a hug, "Chris-chan! We actually did it!"

The lavender haired girl frowned and pushed the cheerful girl away, "For fucks sake, stop it, idiot! What are you doing that for?!"

Tsubasa smiled softly as their Symphogears reverted to their pendant forms, and Hibiki beamed, "We won thanks to you, Chris-chan!"

With that said, Hibiki pulled her into another hug, much to her annoyance. Chris frowned and pushed her away again, "Stop! It wasn't all me!"

Shinjiro let his suit revert to his watch, "No, you did most of the work at taking down the larger ones, she's not wrong."

Moroboshi nodded as he let his suit go back to his glasses, "It's like the brat said, learn to take credit when it's due, Yukine Chris."

The lavender haired girl looked at the two Ultraman suit users, and she nodded slowly, "I guess so..."

They would've spoken more, but a phone ringing cut them off, and Hibiki quickly took the call, "Hello?"

Miku's voice came through, "Hibiki? The school! It's being attacked by-"
