Year: 1994
Scene: A Highschool- David Silvers' locker
John (Thomas Dekker): Uncle Derek, you are an obnoxious and controlling teenager. I don't know why I came on this mission with you.
David Silvers (the teenage version of Derek Reese (Brian Austin Green)): Savannah Weaver is your friend. Her parents, Angela and Jordan, are my friends. We have traveled back here to 1994 to save them. They are on Skynet's target list.
John: I understand, Uncle Derek
Jordan (Jared Leto) approaching David): Uncle Derek?!
David: My nephew-cousin John here is calling me Uncle Derek. Derek is the name of my brother and his father.
Jordan (to John): Hello John. My name is Jordan. I am your Uncle's friend.
John (rushing to get to class): Its been nice too meet you, but I have to go. I will see you in English Literature class.
Jordan (to David): Your nephew appears cool. I must say you are way too young to be his uncle.
David: It is complicated
Jordan: I have a cousin that is actually my neice
David (shocked): No way
Jordan (coming clean): I am just playing with you
Angela ((Claire Danes) kissing and hugging Jordan right in front of David): I love you
Jordan: I love you too
David: Angela
Angela: OH hello David
David: It is good to see you and Jordan getting along
Angela: It is a work in progress
Jordan (squeezing Angela's hand): Definitely
David: The future is not set
(The bell rings again for the second and last time. The three teenagers head off to English Literature Class. Unexpectedly, an evil cyborg from the future interrupt their class time. Jordan, Angela, David, and John seek shelter in Jordan's red car. The evil cyborg follow closely behind them in a different car.)
Jordan (driving the car): What the hell?
Angela (hysterical): We are going to die
David: We are not going to die
John (shooting at the cyborg): Burn in hell, you evil cyborg!
David (yelling): JOHN!
John: What?
David: You said the forbidden word
John: Cyborg?
Angela and Jordan (frightened): Cyborg?!
David: I must tell you the truth then
Jordan: You are from the future
David: Yes. How did you know?
Jordan: It is a wild guess. I keep on getting a weird vibe from you. You are not my friend David. Please explain yourself.
David: Its complicated
Angela (getting out her cellphone): I am going to contact the authorities unless you come clean.
David: Please don't contact the authorities. I will come clean.
John (yelling): DEREK..
David: I am sorry, John. I don't have a choice.
(Before David (aka Derek Reese) can confess, the mission is aborted-ends abruptly).
