An astronaut named Glenn started dating an Xilien named Namikawa, who broke the control of her mind by falling in love with him.
Glenn used Mothra to break the control of Godzilla, who fought back against the Xiliens.
Japanese government got the shock of their lives to see Godzilla and Mothra kiss.
Japanese officials reviewed over Godzilla and realize he isn't a threat to them, as long as they feed him radiation nukes when he visits Japan.
He mostly spent his time with playing with Mothra.
Sometimes they would patrol around Japan territory.
Monarch has gone quiet since nineteen fifty-four looking for Godzilla after they found his body gone, until they found a report of Godzilla defeating monsters in Japan.
They review him as a power to restore balance for nature.
A protector for mankind against monsters that wish to threaten them.
Nineteen sixty-six, a typhoon hit a couple of islands.
Godzilla was patrolling the waters and forced to take shelter on Letchi Island.
A woman in Japan named Kane, received a report that her son, Yata was lost in the South Seas from the typhoon.
She consults a psyhic medium, who assures her that he is alive and in great care.
Kane's older son, Ryota, tries getting the authorities to resume their search for his younger brother.
After they refuse, Ryota decides to go find him.
He ask around for fishermen who have boats and ships, for help, but they refuse.
He sees a flyer for a dance endurance marathon with a boat as the grand prize.
When he enters the contest, he found that he was too late.
Two contestants named Ichino and Nita, hear that Ryota is looking for a boat, they show him all the boats at the docks.
They climb one specific boat, which is a yachi called Yahlen, which seemed to be empty until they are confronted by Yoshimura, who is armed with a gun and says "I'm the owner of this ship."
After hearing Ryota's reason for a boat, he tells them "you can stay for the night."
In the morning, they find out that their adrift in the ocean.
Ryota takes command of the yacht to try and find his yonger brother.
After awhile, they hear on the radio that the yacht has been stolen, and learn Yoshimura is a thief who recently robbed a bank and was hiding on the Yahlen.
Four days at sea, Yahlen comes upon a severe typhoon, which batters the ship before a huge lobster claw breaks the surface and cuts the ship in two.
Next morning, the four men find themselves ashore on Letchi Island, which seems to be uninhabited.
The men climb a mountain to reach the interior of the island.
Soon they find a sword and start to think that the island might not be uninhabited.
The men use the sword to cut through the brush in the jungle and fruit from trees.
After wandering through the jungle, the men soon come upon a dock, where a ship was delivering a load of cargo to a group of armed men.
The cargo is taken out of the ship, and revealed to be a group of Infant Islanders bound in chains.
The armed men begin to escort the Infant Islanders away, when two of the prisoners escape to reach a boat.
A machine gun in a nearby watchtower opens fire on them, but miss them.
Captain Ryuii orders them to stop firing and says "Ebirah will take care of them."
The two escapees row out to sea, and a huge claw erupts from the water and destroys the boat.
Then a huge lobster surface and impales the two men and eats them.
The four men realize the inhabitants of Letchi Island are far from friendly.
One of the islanders slips away during the scene into the jungle.
The four men retreat into the jungle, where they run into the escape Infant Islander.
They tell her they mean her no harm and she introduces herself as Dayo, a native of Infant Islander.
She tells them that the armed men are a terrorist group called the Red Bamboo, who abduct natives of Infant Islanders and use them as slaves for their operations.
A group of Red Bamboo soldiers approach them, forcing the them to runaway.
They find a cave inside a cliff at the edge of the island.
They hide in the cave, causing the Red Bamboo soldiers to give up.
The four men debate their next move, while Dayo begins praying to Mothra.
The men look at the bottom of cave to see Godzilla lying motionless.
They listen closely to hear his heartbeat and realize that he is sleeping.
Dayo smiles "well this is good news."
Ryota ask "how is having Godzilla here, good news?"
Dayo sighs "he won't harm us."
They decide to infiltrate the Red Bamboo base.
They sneak past the guards and reach a door.
Yoshimura uses his lockpicking skills to bypass the lock and allow them inside.
Yoshimura picks another lock and they go inside to discover a nuclear reactor.
Yoshimura figured out that the building is a factory for production of nuclear weapons.
They explore more of the base, grabbing some gas bombs.
Next, they are facing Ryuii and his men.
Yoshimura tells the others to surrender, but quickly tosses a gas bomb at the Red Bamboo guards to escape.
Guards open fire on them, forcing them to scatter.
Yoshimura, Ichino and Dayo escape back to the cave, while Nita is captured by the Red Bamboo.
Ryota gets his leg tangled in rope attached to a balloon and carried off the island.
Back at the cave, Yoshimura and the others decide to wake up Godzilla in order to stop the Red Bamboo and escape the island.
Dayo walks over to sleeping Godzilla and taps his head "Godzilla! wake up!"
Godzilla stirs from sleep to see a girl and growls at her softly "what do you want?"
Dayo sighs "we need your help to stop a terrorist group and fight a lobster monster named Ebirah."
Godzilla snorts at the girl.
Dayo frustrated scowls "they have Infant Islanders who like you and worship you!"
Godzilla gets up and gets out of the cave and walks towards the coast to look around the island, but is confronted by Ebirah, who initiates a battle with him.
Godzilla grabs a boulder and throws it at Ebirah, who throws it back at him.
It goes on, until one strikes his knee.
Godzilla charges into the water and begins throwing punches at Ebirah.
Ebirah grabs Godzilla by his neck with his claw hand.
Godzilla's tail lights up before his fire beam burns Ebirah alive forcing Ebirah to retreat.
Godzilla comes back ashore and heads fore the interior of the island.
Ryota strangely arrives on Infant Island right in the middle of the natives waking up Mothra.
Ryota finds Yata cared by the natives.
Ryota tells the natives about Red Bamboo and Godzilla on Letchi Island as well.
The Shobijin gaped "Godzilla has been at sea for five days! Mothra been worry about him!"
Yata offers to go to Letchi Island to help save the islanders.
The Shobijin thanks them and tells them to construct a large net for Mothra to carry the Islanders.
Ryota and Yata take a boat back to Letchi Island.
Nita was thrown into prison with the Infant Islanders slaves and forced to create a yellow juice to keep Ebirah from attacking their ships.
Nita came up with a plan and has the natives make a fake juice.
Godzilla follows Dayo around the island.
A giant eagle attacks Godzilla briefly before Godzilla sets him ablaze with his atomic fire beam.
Red Bamboo orders an airstrike on Godzilla.
Godzilla blows up the planes easily.
He walks to the Red Bamboo's base and starts destroying it.
Ryuii and the commander decide to flee the island and blow it up.
One of the Red Bamboo scientist triggers the self-destruct button before beginning crushed by debris from the base collapsed.
Yoshimura fails to disable the self-destruct.
He and the others flee towards the edge of the island.
Ryuii and his remaining men take the latest batch of yellow juice, unaware that it is fake.
Ebirah attacks their ship and destroys it and kills the men.
Godzilla sees Ebirah and burns him again with his atomic fire beam defeating the lobster and sending it into the sea.
Mothra arrives at Letchi Island to see Godzilla and chirps "you are in big trouble, my King!"
Godzilla growls "sorry for scaring you, my Queen."
Mothra chirps "you can make it up to me tonight when we get back home."
Mothra carries the villagers in the net back to Infant while Godzilla takes Yoshimura, Yata, Ryota, Nita, Ichino back to Japan riding on his back.
Monarch mark Ebirah down on their secret classified file that Godzilla beat.
JSDF picked up Godzilla's signal on their scanners entering Tokyo Bay.
The general took a look at the scene to see Godzilla laying on the beach for five guys to get off his back.
Godzilla leaves Tokyo bay heading back to Infant Island.
JSDF general interrogate the five men for their story.
After they told the JSDF their story, they was released to go back to their families.
Night time came before Godzilla arrived at Infant Island.
Godzilla enters the altar cave to see the natives leave to their rooms giving them privacy.
Mothra turns to see Godzilla and chirps "it's about time you got back from returning those five guys to Japan."
Godzilla growls "and I been away from you for far too long."
Mothra turns her back to him and chirps seductively at him "why don't you show me how much you missed me?"
Godzilla climbs over her and growls "are you sure you want this tonight?"
Mothra chirps "yes, I'm sure I want you to make love to me."
Godzilla growls "okay."
Mothra next feels him enter her vaginal and starts chirping through the mating.
Godzilla grunts at being inside his Queen.
Godzilla curious roars "Mothra, when we mate, how come you don't become pregnant with an offspring from both of us?"
Mothra chirps "I'm not allowed to a baby. I can only lay eggs to be reborn with all my memories and conscious."
Godzilla roars softly "at least we can enjoy mating to each other."
Mothra chirps "yep."
Godzilla and Mothra continue to mate for an hour and a half before they go to sleep.
