(Artemis's POV)
I teleported away to my temple in frustration after my talk with Riley. I sat down as I thought over what he told me. In what way could I control a man like Perseus, he has shown in the past that nothing but his loyalty to his friends and family can control him. Ever since he took the weight of the sky from me allowing me to take on Atlas I have watched Perseus over the years to see that his power has grown. He has managed to survive this long as a demigod even when he always runs into a battle head first. I respect him as a fighter and a hero but have no idea on how to control a male demigod without using fear. I am pulled out of my thoughts when I hear my father's master bolt go off. I stood up and teleported to the throne room before entering and growing to my godly height then took my seat on my throne. I look to see that my father and Hera are already here along with Riley and his comrade in gold armor whose name is Sigma if I remember that correctly.
The other Olympians came flashing in as well and took their seats each in their respective throne. Once everyone was seated the usual bickering started which was quickly ended by my father using his master bolt again. After everyone was silent he began to speak "I have called this meeting since the prophecy has now been spoken. Apollo if you would please."
Apollo gave a nod before reciting the prophecy for the entire council, Riley and his compatriot stood in the middle of the throne room next to the fireplace where Hestia used to sit. After Apollo finished reciting the prophecy my father turned to the two warriors who stood in front of us all. He glared at them then asked "So if you all have been around since Ancient Greece, how come we are just hearing about you now?"
"Lord Chaos kept us in his realm for training until the time was right Lord Zeus." Riley told my father "He had a feeling of a threat that would be too much for Olympus to handle on its own so he and the rest of the primordial council spent years training us to help you deal with this threat."
My father continued to glare before giving a nod "Well you have shown that your training has paid off. Now what about the other lines? What son must take the throne?"
"Lord Zeus if I may there is something more important than trying to figure out a prophecy." Sigma began to speak as he walked forward from Riley's side "We have been given a warning that a threat we have faced in the past is returning."
"What kind of threat?" My half-brother Ares asked as he summoned his sword with a smirk.
"We are unsure, we have faced many without the gods noticing." Riley said with a smirk only I could see, causing me to summon my bow while my father pointed his lightning bolt at him.
"Mind your tongue warrior, you may be on our side but I will not have Olympus be disrespected by your words." Zeus said as Riley just stood there crossing his arms.
"I meant no disrespect to you Lord Zeus, I was just saying the facts. We were hidden thanks to my father and there were threats that were too small for you to notice." Riley said as he uncrossed his arms and gave a slight bow which satisfied my father to put away his bolt but I still kept my bow out.
"Very well, so how do you plan to handle this threat?" Zeus asked as he watched the warriors look at each other and nod.
"We ask that all the demigods from Camp-Half Blood be taken to Camp Jupiter. We think the threat plans on attacking the demigods and it will be harder for us to hold off two attacks." Sigma said "Camp Jupiter is also easier to fortify."
"Very well, Hermes go alert Chiron and began preparations. Once every camper is ready yourself, Apollo, and Dionynus will teleport them to Camp Jupiter." My father told Hermes who nodded before flashing away "Ares, go to Camp Jupiter as Mars and alert them of the incoming campers."
Ares nodded then shifted into Mars and flashed away. Shortly after, father dismissed the meeting and everyone began to flash away. Before the two warriors had a chance to leave I shrunk down to normal height and walked over to them then asked "What shall my hunters do?"
"I would suggest stretching your legs and building up your ranks. We heard about the Orion attack which I am sorry about. How many hunters do you have?" Riley asked me with a look of sorrow in his eyes.
"Only about nine, I lost Phoebe during that attack and she was one of my best. Have you ever lost any warriors?" I asked Riley as he gave Sigma a nod who flashed away.
"Yes, as a mortal and before having the current men I have beside my side now. I lost plenty of soldiers whose death I still feel today. I pray that their souls rest well in Elysium. Now if you excuse me I must meet with my warriors. See you in a few days." He said as he teleported away in a black helix. I flashed away to gather my hunters and began our journey to Camp Jupiter.
Time Skip (Three days)
(Justin's POV)
Riley and I just teleported to Camp Jupiter, everyone got settled a couple days ago but he wanted to check in on the others. He made his way towards New Rome where the head counselors and the senate would be. I made my way towards the Little Timber as I see my fellow warriors posted up there as I get closer. Once I arrived Grant was the first one to greet me and the others shortly followed with their greetings. We all stood there in silence not before long Daniel opened his mouth "This is so damn boring."
"Trust me I know, has there been any recent activity?" I asked Sean as I drew my bow and examined the string.
"Besides Lady Artemis and the Hunters coming in not really, but then again I was always one to speak too soon." Sean said as he drew his sword once he saw a figure leading an army of monsters out of the tunnel.
I notched an arrow while Grant drew his ax, Kevin ready his spear, and Daniel drew his sword and pistol. Riley teleported in front of us and drew his daggers as we all ready ourselves but the monsters stopped and the figure became more clear in the sunlight.
"Well hello there warriors, it has been a long time since you've seen me. Well this vessel anyway, someone new is controlling this." The marble statue of Achilles said with bright blue glowing eyes and a glowing blue circle like the one Grant saw on its chest. "However the magic that witch used to strengthen this marble and help self-repair is still intact."
"How did you manage to dig yourself out of the ground? If memory serves, Omega buried that thing way down into the Earth." Sean said as he stood next to Riley, sword at the ready.
"Well I asked Zeta's dear sister Gaea to unearth for me once she awakened, luckily she did that before those demigods put her to rest again." The statue said with a smirk as two marble swords appeared in its hands.
"And who exactly are you? Not many people know about me being Chaos' son." Riley asked as he tightened his grip on the daggers.
"Well I would tell you but let's not ruin the surprise now Rasmus. You could say we are like family." The statue said with a chuckle as he called Riley by his birth name. "Now as much as I love messing with you all I came here to kill some demigods."
The statue gave a signal causing the monsters to charge towards us. The others charged killing as many monsters as they could. I stood back taking monsters down by bow. Riley charged at the statue only to be thrown back and landing next to me. I helped him up and he sighed out "That thing is tougher than last time. Feels like getting hit by an immortal. Go alert the demigods, tell them to prepare for battle. We'll kill as many as we can and hold that thing off."
I nodded as Riley sheathed his daggers and drew his sword charging back into battle. I picked off a few more monsters before flashing away hoping by the time I get back I don't lose my brothers in arms for a second time.
Author's Note: Here's the other chapter for you all! I am posting this later than I wanted to but unfortunately someone I went to high school with recently passed away so I was dealing with that and everything else. Now this story will be a Percy X Artemis story but it is slow going. I am not trying to do a cliche of a guardian story so trying to find an original pace plot is difficult for the pairing. Now as far as Zeta and Artemis, I just want a friendship there. Something I will reveal is that Zeta and Artemis were good friends because she respected him every time the warriors helped Olympus but that friendship is lost when the memory of the warriors are erased by Chaos. Hope you guys enjoyed this chapter and I will post Chapter 12 as soon as I can!
