Hey, wazzup. Back with another chapter of City of Light. This one is gonna be fairly shorter than the others, but I'm going to deliver as much as I can.

Anyways, I wanna mention I recently just got to Elite Smash with Mewtwo yesterday, and I am ecstatic despite knowing that Elite Smash isn't worth it. XD

I plan on doing the same with Inkling someday, but I'm gonna go ahead and practice like I always do every day. So I'm gonna show another neat chapter of this grand crossover.

I hope you enjoy! :)

*meanwhile, back in Inkopolis Square*

Everything was still not normal. Since Galeem cannot get his powers out of the mysterious forcefield that hovers around Inkopolis that only mortal beings can precisely get across with ease, he is tempted to find out everything he can to break the barrier once and for all.

The Fearical Dome was still high in the sky. Hovering near Deca Tower, and making the remaining Inklings and Octolings afraid to participate in any battles due to knowing that they'll be caught the moment they try to go inside.

There was a higher room inside of this dome. One that no one can go inside at the moment, except for Galeem. There, the statue Sonic was there. And since he was still in this statue form, he couldn't react or try to get away.

However, the statue parts slowly started to fade, and Sonic was turning back to his normal color again. It didn't even take a second. Less than that, in fact. But despite the very short amount of time, that didn't stop Sonic from immediately letting out some words.

He yelled and started flailing his arms around.

"Let go of me, you diabolical colorful wing-based...!" He started, only to calm down to look around wherever the heck he was at. And from there, he realized that he was no longer at Inkopolis.

Well, the Fearical Dome is there, but the point still stands.

"W... What is this place?" Sonic asked himself as he looks around, fear growing to his mind. It was a pretty bright room. A mixture of colors that represented Galeem's wings, except a tiny bit brighter than originally intended.

There was a large yellow rug in the middle of the room, as well as a few chairs that are more white, or cream-ish. There were a couple poles to gain more of an elegant look, and there was also a painting with Galeem in it, but with a crown on his head. Though it looked more larger and masculine from the one that Hikari wears.

Sonic tried to move around, but upon that, he realized that he was stuck. He looked down, and he saw that his right leg was chained to the ground. He tried to struggle, but it was useless as always. He mutters under his breath, not knowing what else to do.

Suddenly, piano music began to play.

Sonic shows a surprised look as he saw a small portal emerge from the ground a few feet away from him. There, Galeem came out of it, who was playing his battle theme on a large piano.

And it sounded surprisingly well, knowing that he is using all these keys to make a midi-like version of his theme, and make it sound good, or even better. And he was just enjoying the moment.

Sonic was confused, but a little annoyed.

"Where am I?" He asked. Galeem stopped playing the piano, and turns towards his now freed victim.

"You're in the light house suite, squid. The top of the dome." He said. He sways his wings to the side as a small glass of pineapple soda appeared in his hands. And another one in Sonic's.

"Here, have a drink. Make yourself comfortable." Galeem offered. Sonic sighed, and sits down on the red couch that he was next to, still holding his soda that Galeem gave to him.

Galeem takes a small sip of his drink, and looks back at Sonic with an amused look.

"Hey, you know that couch is made of living Octarian tentacles?" The Lord of Light reminded. Sonic now had a surprised expression as he looks down at the couch. And he saw a small glimpse of Octarian eyes looking at him, along with a sound with Octarians make coming out of the living couch.

"Gaah!" Sonic yelped as he immediately stepped up and a little closer to Galeem. The blue-haired Inkling looks back at the light god himself, an annoyed look on his face.

"Quit the games, Galeem," Sonic exclaimed as he points at him, "If I'm still alive, then you must want something from me."

Galeem quietly chuckles as he leans one of his wings down.

"Ahh, sharp as ever, my friend." He teased. He keeps the soda tightly held in one if his wings as he floats up to the middle of the room, now in a pose to assert more dominance.

"As you may have noticed, I've recently developed a singular dimension makeover." Galeem started. Though, that statement was kinda false, considering that Galeem looks exactly the same. However, the brightness he has was... well, less bright than in the True World of Light.

"With this in mind in the Inkopolis universe, I can control space... matter..." And as Galeem was talking, he lifted everything in the air, including Sonic, and when he said "matter", the positions changed, so everything on the left was now on the right, and vice versa.

"...And now that the Subspace Emissary leader is finally out of the way, will soon be time itself!" Galeem boasted. Sonic didn't change his confused expression. However, he felt a bit nervous.

"But I wasn't always this way." Galeem continued as he floats downwards near the ground, and swaying another wing to the side to make everything drop safely, and Sonic making a quiet "uff" sound as he was dropped.

The light god looks at his glass as his eyebrows narrowed.

"You think those chains are tight?" He groaned, "Imagine living in the Basic Dimension developed before Smash was even a thing. A flat world with creatures that had flat minds and flat dreams."

Terrified screams can be heard as through the glass, a silhouette of Galeem's core and Dharkon's eye can be seen with fire circling around them.

"Dharkon and I liberated our original universe, Sonic, and now I'm gonna do the same to yours." Galeem warned. He set his soda aside as he gets back near the middle, looking at Sonic directly in the eyes.

"But there's one problem." Galeem said, shooting a light beam that transitions to a hologram halfway through. And on that holographic image, it had what Inkopolis Square is like right now.

"As it turns out, it seems that my brightness and endless power cannot escape the magical confines of this city." He explained. In the image, Galeem was growing larger, and tried to stretch the forcefield out of the way as he struggled constantly, only for nothing to happen.

"There's something keeping me in..." The Lord of Light continued in a more quieter tone. Sonic was shocked as he looks at the image in front of him.

"Inkredible!" He said in awe, "The Inkopolis Square barrier that stops unstoppable beasts from causing ruckus outside of our main home. I studied about this many times before!"

"And did you find a way to undo it?" Galeem asked.

"Oh, of course," Sonic groaned, "It's just a simple hidden button that requires an equation in order to get through it."

He angrily points at the Lord of Light.

"But I'll never tell you what it is!" The blue-haired Inkling shouted. Galeem holds up one of his wings as the image still stays the same.

"Listen, Sonic," Galeem stated, "If you just tell me that equation..."

Now Galeem is talking in the image for what was about to be displayed to Sonic.

"...Then finally, your dimension will be freed!" The god yelled, breaking the forcefield in the hologram as he grows larger and larger. This kept going on until Galeem was now in space, looking over the Earth with an excited look. His core was way, way larger than Earth.

"Anything will be possible!" He continued, bracing his wings to cause damage to the planet. He sharped the tip of one of his wings, and landed it one of the big cities. He slid the tip across, destroying everything that came to its path, with people screaming and running away for safety.

Back on the outskirts of Earth, Galeem soon pulled away after making his "drawing" of the Smash logo, which was combusted of lots of dirt and rubble from the damage he caused.

"I'll remake a fun world! A better world!" Galeem boasted. Another one of his wings turned into a spear, and it pierced right through a small part of the planet, wiping out every possible thing there.

Soon, the god throws the planet aside as he flies higher into the endless galaxy.

"A world that'll never end with a leader that'll never die!" He screamed, "No more restrictions! Nothing to hold you back!"

During his ascent, lots of the bosses that Sonic fought in the game, as well as those same ones that Galeem brought to help take over the Square, were all around with their threatening looks.

Soon, Galeem disappeared at the top, now showing puppet fighters of all the Smash fighters, and in front of it all, was all of Sonic's friends under the light god's control, with Sonic himself in the middle, also controlled.

"You'll be one of us!" Galeem offered, "All powerful! Greater than anything you could imagine!"

The hologram disappeared, and Galeem spoke in the real world again, now pointing at Sonic.

"And all I need is your help." The light lord reminded. Sonic sighed, and continued to not change his annoyed look at the powerful creature in front of him.

"You're insane if you think I'll help you." Sonic said. Galeem laughs as he lays down on the couch, with an evil look that's barely recognizable.

"GRAH HA HA HA! I'm insane either way, Einstein!" He taunted, "But fine, have it your way! I'll just mess around and get that equation DIRECTLY from WITHIN YOUR MIND!"

His physical form turned to stone as a yellow outlined version of the god himself floats higher, ready to get into Sonic's mind and mentally ruin him.

"Not so fast! You know how it works, Galeem." Sonic interrupted. Galeem goes back to his physical form, crossing his wings like arms as he floats towards Sonic, unamused.

"You may be able to do whatever you want, but the two of us know this really well," Sonic said with a smirk, "You can't and won't go after a specific person unless you decide to thoroughly make a deal with them, despite if you flatter them or not."

Galeem's soda floats back to his wings as he twirls it around gently. And the Lord of Light himself wasn't pleased at the slightest.

"*sigh* You're making this so much harder than it needs to be." He groaned. More chains appeared, and they attach on Sonic's other leg, both of his arms, and a larger one that wraps around his neck.

Sonic choked a bit as he struggled and yelled to get freed. He looked in fear as Galeem taunts him some more, but this time, in a more serious and deadly tone.

"Everyone has a weakness, young Inkling," The light god warned, "So trust me, I will make you talk. It's only a matter of time."

And with that, Sonic let out his loudest scream as he looks at his captor with the most afraid look he ever had.

*back in the True World of Light*

Master Hand grabbed each other shards that the Agents held, who politely offered it to him. Once the shards were in his grasp, he floats up to the door that had that same Smash logo, and he placed all the shards in.

They were smaller than the places that needed them, but it still worked, as the outline glows, indicating that it was opening up real soon. The shards themselves attached onto the spots they needed to go onto, and some smoke was now coming out from the outlines.

The smoke shortly went away, and the door slides open. The Agents laughed and cheered, and Master Hand looks over at the other side with curiosity.

"You all should join me on this," He suggested, "Because the two of us may need you for what's about to come once we get back to your hometown."

Everyone was confused, and they muttered amongst themselves on what Master Hand was talking about. But they easily complied, and super jumped over to the open tunnel that awaited them above.

Once they got there, they walked along this long road ahead, with Master Hand leading the way. This tunnel seemed longer than the others, but with Master Hand no longer under Galeem's control, there's nothing that could possibly stand in their way.

"So, where are we heading to?" Chany asked.

"Yeah, we managed to lose the idols, and we're really going to need some help for this." Mia added.

"Oh, trust me, I'm aware," Master Hand agreed, "Now that I am free from his foolish needs, I need to help get those clones out of the way, and help finish off that god. And I do apologize about what happened to your friends, but I'm afraid we can't do anything at this moment. But we will get out there and help everyone."

"Well, we'll do whatever it takes. No matter what." Redd said.

"Good, good." Master Hand shows a thumbs up as they all continue their walk. This didn't go on for long, however, because now they have arrived at their destination.

There was nothing in this room, but it was still bright. However, one key thing that stood out was what was in the middle. A small pedestal, and another hand on it, that was in a statue form.

The group had shocked expressions as they saw what was in front of them.

"Oh my... Galeem's creations and such just doesn't end!" Flint yelped.

"What... what IS that?" Caleb asked in fear as he points at the statue.

"That is Crazy Hand," Master Hand explained, "Like I mentioned, he and I are the ones who keep Smash in balance. Ever since Galeem and Dharkon came, the multiverse hasn't seen much chaos since the Subspace Emissary event. While Galeem went after me, Dharkon found Crazy Hand in his original realm."

"But... what happened that caused Crazy Hand to get like... that?" Redd questioned.

"I saw it all. The day Galeem won," Master Hand sighed, "I may not react since he still had me under his control, but once Dharkon was weakened, Galeem took this opportunity to annihilate Dharkon and his Crazy Hand clone army. The clones disappeared, and Dharkon was killed. However, Crazy Hand was merely weakened and took this punishment by getting caught in Galeem's grasp."

*flashback*

"DHARKON! I got you right where I want you!" Galeem bellowed from across. A ton of light beams were headed right towards Dharkon. The main controlled Master Hand was watching what Galeem was doing, expression unchanged.

"N... No..." Dharkon said in utter surprise. And then, the beams hit him. Most of these beams went for all the Crazy Hands first. All of those hands died. However, from across...

The main Crazy Hand was knocked down to the ground, struggling his way to try and get up as he saw his life begin to flash in his non-existent eyes.

"AHH! My Crazy Hand army!" Dharkon shouted. But then his anger rant got disrupted when more light beams came, which was weakening Dharkon big time.

"ERK! U- AH! Galeem, stop! You have no idea what you're doing!" Dharkon pleaded.

"Oh, please. Even if I was the one defeated first, you would be doing the exact same thing." Galeem scoffed. A bunch of light circles shot at the dark lord.

Dharkon was confused as he didn't feel anything. But then...

He felt the circles cut right through him, creating holes inside his body.

And for this attack to finally finish off, a giant light wave was only headed towards the lord of darkness.

"No... the light, it..." Dharkon tried to say. But he couldn't finish this sentence as the pain really got to him. Dharkon was slowly fading from this world. The brighter the light got, the faster Dharkon was disintegrating.

"GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHH!" And after that loud, blood-curdling scream, Dharkon was gone. The giant light wave was bright enough to finally kill Dharkon.

From below, Crazy Hand could see that the wave was heading towards him, too. He frazzled about for a bit before it hit him, slowly stopping him and turning him to stone.

*back to real time events*

"Oh, that's so sad..." Chany said in a sad tone once Master Hand finished the story.

"Yes, it sure is. I'm still surprised I remembered all of that." The Smash ruler replied.

"So, you know how to free Crazy Hand so we can save our worlds?" Mia asked.

"Oh, of course. That's easy." Master Hand chuckled. He floats over to the statue of Crazy Hand, then then rests his palm on the other's palm. Nothing happened at first. Ten seconds... fifteen seconds...

And then, after the twentieth second passed, a small electrical spark was forming from the two. Master Hand pulls away, and then instructs the rest of the Agents to step back, which they did.

The statue began to crack all around. And some struggling was seen. Soon, the entire statue was broken, and Crazy Hand continues spazzing around constantly.

"GYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHH!" He screeched for about five seconds. Soon he calmed down, but was still wiggling around, unsure of what to say.

"Eeyah?! What, what?! The end is near! !nac llits uoy elihw erutuf s'thgiL fo droL eht morf yawa teG" He rambled.

Master Hand slaps his partner in crime, trying to get him to stop.

"Whoa, whoa, Crazy Hand! Slow down, and snap out of it! You're not making any sense!" He demanded. Crazy Hand started panting. The Agent group stood back, not knowing how to react.

"Eh... huh? Master Hand? You're normal again?" The left-handed glove asked.

"Yes, I am. And I'm grateful for that, too." Master Hand replied.

"What the heck happened to you, man?! Weren't you controlled by one of the two gods as they exchanged their own visuals for the future of the world?"

"Yes, Crazy. It's hard to explain, but-"

"Dude! Smash has gone to ruin, and I couldn't do a thing! How could you have gotten back to normal if no one was there to help?!"

"Well... it's kinda difficult to explain."

"Bah, I don't care if it was hard, easy, medium, semi-easy-medium-hard, or sorta hard with a different twist to be a little more difficult and challenging! We gonna help turn Smash back to the way it was?!"

"I got your back, Crazy Hand. And we have these guys to thank for everything." Master Hand chuckles as he gestures towards the Agents. They all waved at Crazy Hand, and he returned by showing a confused expression.

He crawls like a spider towards them, and stops once he got close.

"Whoa! So you guys... survived what was coming?" He asked.

"Yes. Mia, Caleb and I saw everything happening there, and Chany and Flint teamed up with us to free our worlds." Redd responded.

"Ehh?! Worlds?! What do you mean, 'worlds'? In a plural way? Smash is the only one that was affected!" Crazy Hand exclaimed.

"Well... not exactly." Flint winced.

"It started back when we were transported to Smash," Mia explained, "We found out all about Galeem's takeover and all that, and some time later, he came over to Inkopolis to take it over for himself and continue his reign throughout many other universes."

"Lots of our kind were taken hostage by him, while we escaped. Luckily..." Caleb continued, "And not to mention that he tricked others to breaking the forcefield that keeps our beloved city protected."

"Ohh! That sure is freaky! I can ensure you guys aren't lying, right?!" Crazy Hand exclaimed.

"They're not lying, Crazy Hand," Master Hand said as he goes over to them, "If this weren't true, they wouldn't be the ones who came to save us. I was instructed by Galeem to stop them from what I remember, but then, they managed to help me from his control by battling me, and stopping me with the power of what Smash truly holds."

"Yeah, it's true." Flint agreed.

"And now we're on a goal to stop Galeem. Not only to save Inkopolis Square. But to save Smash as well." Redd said in a determined tone.

"Will you help us out, Mr. Crazy Hand?" Caleb asked.

"HUIBUIHJADAHJRFHJULOVRHJSFJKHLIOGBVOLUIJTRSAJAH" Crazy Hand wiggled around as he spouts out something nonsensical.

"Uh... excuse me?" Mia questioned.

"Don't worry about that. He does that all the time." Master Hand assured.

"Yeah, that's just my way of showing my crazy personality. Every time," Crazy Hand agreed, "But anyways, you Inklings and Octoling, to answer your offer... count me in! I want Smash back just as much as you all do, and I'm not gonna stand by and watch our world crumble and deteriorate!"

He and Master Hand fist bump, liking the answer given.

"Just what I have expected, Crazy!" Master Hand laughed.

"I like the sound of this already." Mia said with a smirk.

"Yes! Galeem stands no chance against us!" Chany cheered.

"Alright, everyone! Let's head back to Inkopolis, and take back what's ours!" Redd shouted excitedly. Everyone cheered along with the fourth Agent, including the two hands.

Then they proceeded to exit the temple and find their way back to Inkopolis. Because today is time for Galeem's reign of terror to end."

A/N: And that's all for now. Next up is going to be the last Hikari and Jenny chapter. And boy... you guys may be surprised for what's about to come there. ;)

That's all I got for today! Stay Fresh, everyone, and I'll cya next time for more! :D
