The next peaceful afternoon in the middle of the forest, Ashley and the others were preparing for a delicious meal cooked by Brock. While Dawn and Ashley was laying plates in the table. Ashley was silent about the two mysteries stones that she recently got from her newly caught Gible and lately she's has been thinking about this someone, that Ashley was familiar with from her childhood memories. "I have to see him again! I have so many answers that I wanted to tell him." Ashley voice was a little more than a whispered, as she was slowly placing the plates on the table.
Ash's Aipom happily picks tasty oranges from the trees above, as Chimchar in the other hand was happily picking up the tasty orange. Dawn's Piplup and Ashley's Buneary(Angel) calls up to them, wanting the orange themselves. Aipom and Chimchar teasing Piplup and Angel by sticking out their tongue, but they accidentally drops the fruit directly into Piplup's and Angel's mouth. Then the four Pokémon began having a argument, soon erupts. Turtwig and Hydra(Gible) rushes over to break it up, but is quickly slapped away by the quarrelling pair. Aipom escalates the fight to another level, and firing off a yellow stars from her tail attack at Piplup, who responds with a streams of blue bubbles. Chimchar escalates the fight to another level, and unleashing off a bolts of fire at Angel, who was responding with a light blue beams. The four attacks collide and explode, which bring Ash, Ashley, and Dawn's attention.
Ashley and the others were quickly rushing over towards the Pokémon side, who the fourth of the Pokémon were still having a huge argument. "Hey, you four cut it out!" Ash started scolding them the four as he clenched his fits tightly.
Dawn began breaking silence, with a serious look on her face. "Stop your fighting right now!" Dawn scolding them, as she watched the Pokémon fighting even more.
Ashley was slowly walking over to her Chimchar and Angel with a irritated look on her face. "Come on Chimchar and Angel enough this ridiculous fighting!" Ashley spoke in a calmer tone as they were ignoring her completely. Hydra jumps in once again, taking a direct scratching attack by Chimchar's fingers and punching by Angel's fluffy both of its ears. Hydra was not impressed by this situation, and she's letting out roaring as she was unleashing turquoise ball of energy that which was calming down the situation.
Dawn glanced directly towards at Turtwig as she was getting frustrated and started scolding. "You can't treat my Piplup that way!" She was continued glancing at Ash's Turtwig.
Brock slowly steps closer with a serious look on his face and started speaking in a calmer tone. "Hold on. Turtwig and Hydra was only breaking them up."
Ashley slightly smiled a little as she watched Espeon was scolding Chimchar and Angel for having a ridiculous argument, while the both of the Pokémon was feeling guilty. Ashley kneeling down on her knees to Hydra's level and placed her hand against her horns as she began petting it lightly. "Hydra! Thank you for stopping the fight! I'm glad you joined the team." Ashley exclaimed, as she slowly scooped up Hydra from the ground staring into Land Shark Pokémon's eyes. Hydra began smiling at her trainer, as she felt that the Land Shark Pokémon is having a special strong bond with her.
Ash began breaking silence as he directly stared at his Turtwig. "Of course! Turtwig, thank you." Turtwig bites onto his head affectionately. "I think your the best too, but let go of that!" Ash exclaimed, as he was laughing , and tries to shake Turtwig off.
"Pathetic!" A familiar unwanted voice was from behind him calling out. Ashley and the others quickly turned around, they were shocked to none other then Ash's rival Paul.
Ash was in complete shocked of seeing his rival once again. "That's...Paul." Ash began breaking silence as he directly stared Paul who just nods, and then smirks at Ash's reaction. "Paul. You sure like showing up out of nowhere." Ash began speaking in a calmer tone as he was surprised to him again.
Paul placed his hands against the jacket as he was breaking his silence. "I'm just out here doing a little training...to get ready for my Oreburgh City gym battle." Ashley didn't responded to anything as she was still holding Hydra into her arms.
Ash is in complete shocked once again as he heard that Paul is also heading towards Oreburgh City. "You're going to the Oreburgh Gym too?" Ash spoked in a calmer tone.
Paul's dark eyes was staring directly towards at Ash's new caught Turtwig and Ashley's newly caught Hydra(Gible). "Am I seeing things...or that Turtwig and Gible one of your new Pokémon?" The purple hair trainerwas breaking his silent.
Ashley was holding Hydra tightly into her arms. "Yeah! I recently caught Gible, and I named her Hydra." Ashley explained to the purple hair trainer as she noticed that he was glancing at her twin brother. "Hydra and I have a strong bond together." Ashley exclaimed, as she felt her shirt was getting pulled lightly. Ashley began breaking away her smile as she was petting Hydra's forehead.
Ashley was slowly holding Hydra tightly from her right arm as she took out her keychain from her bag. Ashley lay eyes on the material, as she was having those thoughts about someone with a pair of deep blue eyes. "Alain!" Ashley muttered aside as she placed her keychain back to the bag.
Ash blinked his eyes a few times as he was breaking silence. "Yeah. And it's really strong." Ash exclaimed as he was looking at his Turtwig with a bright smile on his face.
Paul smirked in a self-deprecating way, and pulled his jacket pocket tightly. "It doesn't look that strong to me." Paul insulting Ash once again as he was still smirking then he stared at Ashley. "Seriously you're giving that Gible a nickname now! It's pretty much pathetic if you asked me ." Paul mocked, rolling his eyes.
Ashley felt her body was boiling in hot anger as she couldn't believe that Paul would insult Hydra that way as she was holding Hydra tightly and chewing her lower lip, calmly. "What? Paul! Why don't you see for yourself in a Pokémon Battle!" Ash exclaimed as he was clenching his fits tightly while glaring at his rival.
Paul slowly took out the small Pokeball from his hand and started speaking in a lower tone. "Fine our last battle left a bad taste in my mouth." Paul was expanding the Ball into the larger size. "And I want to give my friend here a chance for a little revenge." Paul was sending out his Chimchar in front of Ash and the others.
Ash turned his direction towards Turtwig with a serious look on his face. "I think Turtwig is up for a battle right now." Ash exclaimed, as his Turtwig was taking a few steps while he gotten determined to battle against Chimchar.
Dawn gave a concerned look towards Ash and started speaking in a calmer tone. "A Fire type like Chimchar...has an advantage over a Grass type." Ashley glanced at her Hydra, who's just feeling furious before of what Paul has said to the both of them.
Ash clenched his fits tightly as he felt his anger was boiling under his stomach and started speaking in a confidence tone. "No! Turtwig and I are going to win."
Brock slowly took a step as he was staring at Paul, calmly. "I'll be the referee again." Brock offered as he was holding his Bonsly tightly into his arms.
"We don't need a reference! There will no doubt who wins." Paul exclaimed as he began smirked in a self-deprecating way. Then later on Ash and Paul were fighting off each other for the battle while Ashley, Brock, Dawn, Pikachu, Piplup, Espeon, and Hydra were watching the sideline. "You can go first." Paul offered, as he smirked at the young trainer.
Ash clenched his fits tightly as he was glaring at Paul and started speaking in a confidence tone. "I won't hold back either! Turtwig, use Tackle!" Turtwig was staring things with running in high speed.
Ashley was holding her Hydra tightly as she watched the battle closely and she has everything running through her mind. She was still thinking about the two mysteries stones that Hydra was holding when the two first meet. "Dodge!" Ashley snapped her thoughts out as she could hear Paul recalls his Chimchar to dodge. Chimchar makes a speedy evasion, which Ashley and her Hydra were amazed at this. "Use Scratch!" Chimchar was preparing to use his move against Turtwig.
"Quick, dodge it!" Ash exclaimed, as he was watching carefully that his Turtwig wasn't responding to him. Chimchar began lashing out on Turtwig with his fingers. "Why didn't Turtwig dodge it?" Ash muttered under his breath as he was completely surprised that his new caught Pokémon isn't dodge that attack from Chimchar.Ash quickly snapped his mind out as he was focusing his battle once again. "Razor Leaf!" Turtwig began launching multiple razor-sharp leaves shoot out from the leaves on its head, as Chimchar somersaults backwards to avoid the attack.
Hydra was letting out a strong roar as she was amazed of how quick Paul's Chimchar was and she looked back at Ashley getting more determination, of wanting to have a battle against Chimchar. "Chimchar is really fast." Dawn responded, as she was watching the battle, with an impressed look on her face.Ashley has noticed that Dawn's cheek was turning bright red a little.
Paul clenched his fits tightly and started speaking in a lower tone. "Ember!" Chimchar unleashing off a bolts of fire directly towards at Turtwig.
"That Chimchar seems to gotten stronger." Brock explained as he was watching carefully at the battle between Ash and Paul. Ashley watched her friend Dawn's cheek turning bright red,she was getting suspicious of that why is Dawn all of sudden blushing at something.
Ashley turned back to the battle field as she was holding Hydra tightly into her arms. "That's no kidding at all, Brock! His Chimchar has gotten stronger the last time they've battle." Ashley exclaimed, as she watched carefully at the battle, while her Espeon was having a conversation with Pikachu and Piplup.
Ash watched closely at the bolts of fire directly towards at Turtwig. "Dodge it this time, Turtwig!" Ash exclaimed, as he was clenching his fits tightly. Turtwig in the other hand just stands there and takes the attack, sending it backwards. "Why don't you dodge it?" Ash asked as he was getting more concerned for his Turtwig. Then Turtwig responds by shaking its head, as he was looking at the sun. Ash began breaking silence. "Okay then, use Synthesis!" Turtwig body glowingyellow and sparkles, healing all of Turtwig's injuries.
Ashley was still holding her Hydra into her arms as she watched her twin brother's Pokémon getting healed up. "A waste of time. Chimchar, finish it with Flame Wheel!" Paul responded clenching his fits tightly as he watched his Chimchar spins into a surrounded by the flames.
Ash watched carefully at Paul's Chimchar's attack towards his Turtwig. "Turtwig, you have to dodge!" Ash exclaimed, as he was clenching his fits in a confidence way. Turtwig once again made no effort to try to avoid the attack, and is engulfed by fire. "Turtwig! Are you okay?" Ash asked as he gotten concerned for his newly caught Pokémon. Ash watched carefully as his Turtwig was slowly getting up from the ground. "Why do you keep refusing to dodge?" Ash began questioning, which his twin sister was getting more concerned for the two of them. Ashley quickly snatching out of her bag, as she began staring at the keychain, once again and completely ignoring Paul's comments. "Of course not! Turtwig, Bite!" Ash started speaking in a confidence tone. Turtwig was about to prepare for another attack, but he quickly gotten caught by the strange net.
Ashley began face palming herself multiple times as she quickly knew that it was Team Rocket once again, trying to steal her brother's Pikachu. Team Rocket started to do their usual motto, Hydra quickly get off of Ashley's lap and rushing over to Team Rockets balloon. Hydra letting out roaring as she was unleashing turquoise ball of energy. "Ember!" Paul was completely interrupting Team Rocket's motto as his Chimchar unleashing off a bolts of fire, burning Team Rocket's balloon and hearing them screaming in pain. Ashley quickly rushed over to Hydra side as she was amazed that she is willing to help out Paul's Chimchar. "You're interrupting our battle, get lost." Paul snapped, at Team Rocket as he clenching his fits tightly.
Ashley slowly was picking up her newly caught Gible off the floor and started whispering softly. "Thank you, for the help Hydra!" Ashley slowly watched carefully at Team Rocket, Ash, and Paul having a conversation, "Team Rocket is really not giving up that easily!" Ashley muttered under her breath.James was sending out his Carnivine but his head got bitten, then his Carnivine jumps up and unleashing yellow seeds directly in front of Paul.
Ash quickly turned his direction towards Paul as he was getting distressed for his current rival. "Paul, move!" Ash exclaimed as he watched the yellow speed was coming directly at him.
"Be quiet!" Paul responded, as he was clenching his fits tightly, Ashley was getting furious at Paul for being rude towards her twin brother and continued speaking in a lower tone. "Chimchar, Ember!" Chimchar unleashing off a bolts of fire to deflect the attack.
Ashley quickly stared at Team Rocket's balloon as she was biting her lower lip tightly. "Hydra, Dragon Pulse!" Ashley exclaimed, as she was placing her Hydra down the ground then Hydra letting out roaring as she was unleashing turquoise ball of energy to the deflect attack.
Ash quickly dodge the bullets as he was looking at his Turtwig and started speaking in a confidence tone. "Turtwig, use Razor Leaf!" Turtwig began launching multiple razor-sharp leaves shoot out from the leaves on its head, to break out of the net. Ash was rushed over, as he grabs the falling Turtwig, "Alright. Pikachu, Thunderbolt!" Ash exclaimed, as his Pikachu quickly rushing over and preparing a powerful bolt of yellow electricity from its body to give rid of Team Rocket.
Ashley watched carefully at Team Rocket blasting off once again, then force of the explosion however sends Ash, Paul, Ashley, Hydra, and Chimchar over the edge of the cliff they were fighting on. Ashley began screaming, as she was falling over the edge, "Hydra! Hang on!" Ashley exclaimed, as she grabbing the hold of her Gible into her arms safely and felt something was letting go of the material that she remain holding tightly too. Ashley and her Gible immediately landing head first into the water below along with her twin brother and his Turtwig . Ashley immediately began swimming a little with her Hydra following behind. "Thank goodness! That where safe Hydra!" Ashley exclaimed, as she was shaking her wet hair.
Ashley swiftly crawling out of the water from the below as she was getting her Hydra out of the water. Ashley slowly turned her direction towards her twin brother. "Are you okay Turtwig?" Ash asked curiously as he was slowly getting out of the water with his Turtwig.
Ashley slowly regarding back at Dawn and Brock who were at the edge of the cliff with Pikachu, Piplup and Espeon, getting concerned for them. "Ash! Ashley!" Dawn was calling out their names.
Brock quickly stared at both Ashley and Ash with a confused look on his face and started speaking in a calmer tone. "Are you alright?" Ashley shook her head in response, as she knows that both her and Hydra we're safe.

Ash continued speaking in his usual cheerful attitude, as he was still waving over to them.Brock quickly told the Ketchum siblings that their going to meet up with each other at the other side of the forest. "Got it!" Ash responded in a cheerful way as he was still waving over to them. Ashley swiftly looked over at Paul recalling his Chimchar back into it's Pokeball before walking in towards the forest. "Hey Paul! Wait up!" Ash exclaimed, as he was running after him along with his Turtwig.
Ashley watched carefully at her twin brother following the purple hair trainer into the forest. "I guess we have to get out of here, Hydra!" Ashley responded, as she placed her hand against her bag and began searching something. Hydra letting out roaring as she was watching carefully at her trainer, who was seeking furtively into her bag and her face began overreacting. "Where is my keychain! I thought I left it in my bag?" Ashley exclaimed as she was opening her bag with her Hydra placing her small hands against Ashley's leg.Ashley glancing slowly at her bag, as she felt tears was drenching into her eyes. "Oh no! I accidentally dropped it somewhere when me and Ash were falling over the edge of the cliff! It's probably somewhere at the forest, where Ash and Paul went off to." Ashley responded, as she felt her heart breaking into the pieces. Ashley quickly was rushing over to the forest with Hydra on her side. Ashley was running through her mind that how is Alain going to react of her loosing his special keychain, that he gave directly her when they were eight years old.
Ashley quickly rushed over to Ash with her tears, drenching into her cheeks. "Hey, Paul. What are you doing?" Ash asked curiously as he was following Paul into the forest. Ashley kept her mouth shut, as she was still having thoughts about the keychain.
Paul placed his hands against his pant pocket, as he felt annoyed that Ash and his twin sister Ashley was following him. "Getting out of here." Paul scoffed, as he was not even looking at Ash.
Ash decide to befriended Paul since he really wants to get to know him very well, not just rivals at all. "Well since we're both getting out of here...let's just get out together." Ash exclaimed, as he was waiting for his responses and hoping that he would expected his offer after all.
Paul hissed, as he was still getting annoyed of Ash bothering him and started speaking in a lower tone. "That sounds stupid." Ashley clenched her fits tightly as she was getting furious at Paul's nasty attitude towards her twin brother.

Ashley exclaimed, as she felt more tears was racing down on her cheek.Hydra slowly rubbed her head against Ashley's leg for some comforting, as she felt sorry for her trainer losing something important to her.
"What's his problem?" Ash muttered under his breath as he was holding his anger then he turned his direction towards his twin sister. "You lost your keychain, Ashley! That's terrible you know it really means so much too you. Don't worry I'm sure we're going to find it somewhere." Ash exclaimed, as he was stroking Ashley's hair trying to calm her down.
Paul stopped his track once more then looked back at the two with a serious look on his face. "Instead of talking yourself and your sister...you should keep an eye out for Stantler, after all this is Bewilder Forest." Paul warned them, as he was still getting annoyed.
Ash stared directly towards at Paul, as he was getting confused once more. "Bewilder Forest? What's that?" Ash asked curiously at the purple hair trainer.
Paul turned back his direction, as he scoffed under his breath, getting ticked off at him right now. "If you're in this forest without even knowing that, you're pathetic. I'm leaving." Paul exclaimed, as he continues walking to the forest, leaving Ash, Turtwig, Ashley and Hydra behind.
Ashley quickly was rushing over to Paul, leaving her twin brother and his Turtwig behind with anger boiling under her skin. "What's is your problem right now! You seriously have a nasty attitude towards my brother." Ashley snapped, as she was glaring at him, while her Hydra was catching up to her.
Paul scoffed under his breath as he was placing his hand against the jacket pocket. "That is truly none of your business!" Paul started scolding at the young trainer as he continued walking towards the forest.
Ashley was catching up to the purple hair trainer as her Hydra began growling at him. "That is actually my business, Paul ever since me and Ash came to Sinnoh to try out new things you've just become nothing but a bully to him!" Ashley exclaimed, as she was clenching her fits tightly. "Yeah I get it sometimes that he could be slow in a head but he's learning a few new things such as I do!" Ashley began explaining to the purple hair trainer.
Paul smirked in a self-deprecating way, and pulled his jacket pocket tightly. "He's still a pathetic trainer, that's my point from before especially I don't need any help from a pathetic excuse of a trainer like you!" Paul responded, as he was still walking out of the forest. Paul muttered under his breath and watched Ashley walking beside him with her Hydra next to her.
"Listen we don't have to get along with each other or become fast friends Paul! We could get out of this forest here together and maybe we couldn't talk ever again!" Ashley reassuring, as she was wants to not cause any trouble with him. Paul didn't responded to anything as he just was walking silently. "I get that trainer's wants to get eight badges to enter the Pokémon League or get five ribbons to enter the Grand Festival for their main goal of becoming Pokémon Master or to be Top Coordinator!" Ashley exclaimed, as she was fighting back the tears.
Paul felt his anger boiling as he gotten annoyed of this girl telling him off and he stopped walking for a second then glancesat the young trainer. "How about you just shut up for once! Huh! You know nothing about my main purpose on my goal! You're nothing but a pathetic excuse of a trainer that doesn't know anything." Paul snapped as he was losing his temper.
Ashley clenched her fits tightly as she was fighting off the tears on her cheek, and biting her lower lips tightly trying not to get the negative comments. "I'm a pathetic excuse of a trainer! Huh! That's really nice of you to say that!" Ashley sniffing as she was wiping her tears away while Hydra gave the purple hair trainer a disappointment look on her face. "For your information I actually have a goal which is not about badges or ribbons!" Ashley spoke, as she was choked up into words with tears drenching over her chin.
Paul crossed his arm over his chest as he was staring directly at Ashley and started speaking in a sarcastically tone. "Oh really! I'm sure this goal of yours must be pathetic!" Paul noticed that the young trainer's tears was racing down on her cheek.
"My goal is not pathetic Paul! It's the goal I've been searching from the beginning of my adventure with my twin brother!" Ashley breaks silence, as she was still fighting off the tears. "It's the main reason why I have to find my keychain, it hold out the amazing memories I ever have with this person!" Ashley exclaimed as she slowly picked up Hydra from the ground, she quickly closed her eyes shut with the remaining tears falling down on her cheek.
Paul hissed under his breath as he was getting annoyed of what this girl was saying. "You've got to bekidding me right now!" Paul scoffed, as he watched carefully at the younger trainer become silent. "You're crying because you've lost a pathetic item! Unbelievable you could go and get another stupid keychain!" Paul spoke in a lower tone as he slowly placed his hands against the jacket pocket.
Ashley felt anger boiling, as she was clenching her teeth tightly. She couldn't believe it what Paul has said about her special keychain. "It's not just a stupid keychain, Paul! What I said before my main goal is to searching this special someone who gave me this keychain!" Ashley shouted, as she was losing her temper. Hydra watched carefully at her trainer fighting off the tears. "This person means the world to me Paul! He was always been right my side the day we meet at Professor Oak's summer camp!" Ashley continued scolding him, as she was laughing bitterly. "I'm hoping this time around I could get the chance to reunite with him once and for all! I just want to tell him, my true feelings I've been holding out for so long."
Paul turned his direction, as he began scoffing and started speaking in a lower tone. "Whatever! I'm leaving now you and you're pathetic brother could find your own way out." Paul began walking away, as he was leaving Ashley and her Hydra behind.
Ashley slowly watched Paul walking away from them to the distance then she fell down to her knees and breaking down sobbing uncontrollably. "I'm sorry I've failed you Alain! It's my fault that I lost your keychain, I'm such a clumsy person." Ashley apologize as she was looking down on the ground, fighting off the tears. "Now with the keychain out somewhere you'll get furious at me for sure and knowing that you'll stopped being my best friend." Hydra felt horrible that her own trainer is crying, because of how rude the purple hair trainer treated her this way. Hydra placed her small hands against Ashley's shoulder for comforting and letting out a small roaring, which made Ashley slowly took a deep breath although the tears was racing down on her cheek. "Thanks for the kind words Hydra! I'm sorry I let my anger get the best of me! I was upset that I've lost the keychain that Alain gave me before the end of summer." Ashley reassuring as she was wiping tears away.
Ashley slowly stood up from the ground with Hydra in her arms and began walking towards the direction to the forest. "Hydra! It's often for me for letting my emotions getting in the way! I usually I'm the calm done and keeping things private to everyone about my main goal expect for Espeon and the rest of my past Pokémon, I caught!" Ashley exclaimed as she was walking through the forest, listening to the wild Starly chirping away. "When I was eight years old my mom took me and my twin brother Ash to Professor Oak's summer camp so we could see all the different types of Pokémon." Ashley began breaking the silence as she felt that Hydra was directly staring at her and slightly chuckled under her breath. "Of course back then I didn't have anybody to talk to expect for Ash and sometimes Gary! I'm more of a book nerd that enjoys reading books about different types of Pokémon and sometimes I would wonder off myself to have alone time to play with the wild Pokémon."
"One day when everyone was doing their own summer camp activities Hydra! I was wondering off once again to play with Espeon at the time she was still an Eevee!" Ashley began speaking in her usual cheerful attitude, as she was walking through the forest. Hydra blinked her eyes a few times as she was listening tok her trainer story. "Eevee and I decide to explore outside of the camp to look for something interested! When we we're exploring outside of the camp, we saw the angry packs of Rhyhorns , attacking the poor incident wild Charmander!"
Ashley wore a light pink sleeveless shirt with two purplebuttons, a navy blue neckerchief, white pants with dark blue socks and dark blue and white sneakers. She was walking around the forest with mammalian, quadrupedal Pokemon with primarily brown fur. The tip of its bushy tail and its large furry collar are cream-colored catching up to her. "Come on Eevee! Let's go look for some berries so we could have a little snack before we could head back to the camp!" Ashley exclaimed as she was walking through the forest.
Ashley and Eevee heard a huge explosion coming through the forest, making the two quickly rushing over to check what's going on. Ashley arrived at the wild area where the explosion has happened. "Eevee did you hear that! I think something is happening over their!" Ashley exclaimed as she was pointing her fingers to the directly towards the direction. Ashley peeked over her shoulder to noticed a group of angry a rhinoceros-like Pokemon with a body covered in gray, rocky plates were growling at something. "Huh!Those Rhyhorn are angry at something but what to seem to be the problem." Ashley muttered under her breath as she was looking to her right to noticed a bipedal, reptilianPokémon with a primarily orange body and blue eyes. Its underside from the chest down and the soles of its feet are cream-colored, covered in bruise all over its body along with a few scars. "Oh no Eevee! It's an injured Charmander!" Ashley exclaimed, as she was in complete shocked to see this Charmander in a horrible injury.
Ashley carefully watched the packs of Rhyhorn's body sparks with electricity. "Hey please just stop, leave Charmander alone!" Ashley shouted through her lungs as she was rushing out of the bush with her small fast legs. The packs of Rhyhorn's unleashing a powerful bolt of yellow lightning from its body directly towards the injured Charmander and Ashley quickly dodge the bullets as she was getting hit by the Thunderbolts.
The packs of Rhyhorn were growling at the paralyzed younger girl as they began their body sparks with electricity. "AHHH! MOM! ASH! HELP!!!!!" Ashley screamed over her lungs as she slowly closing her eyes shut, waiting for another attack to hit her.
Ashley felt anything as she slowly opened her eyes, to noticed that the pack of Rhyhorn were walking away. Ashley blinked her eyes a few times as she felt her body was getting lifted up from the ground. "Here let me help you out!" A male figure spoke in a calmly as he was holding the paralyzed girl into her arms.
"It's not your fault that those Rhyhorn have lost there minds!" A male figure spoke in a calmly, as he gave her a soft smile. "So, I just calm them down before they could use another Thunderbolt attack on you!" He explained as he wrapped his arms around her neck for safety. "I'm Alain! I go to the same summer camp as you." A boy named Alain introduced himself to the young trainer.
Ashley blinked her eyes a few times as she was staring directly into Alain's deep blue eyes. "M-My n-name i-is A-Ashley!" Ashley stuttered as she was feeling nervous of talking to this guy.
Alain slightly chuckled, as he was still carrying Ashley towards back to the summer camp. "That's a beautiful name for a unique girl like you!" Alain exclaimed as he noticed that a wild Charmander and Eevee were following them.
Ashley felt her cheek was turning bright red, as she was still getting carried back to the camp. "I'm not that a unique person, it's just that I'm worthless for getting away and it's the reason why I don't have any friends," Ashley exclaimed as she felt a hand was gently placing her cheek and the thumb quickly wiping away from the tear on her eye.
"Don't ever say that you're not worthless Ashley!" Alain break silence as he was wiping her tears away lightly and staring into her deep green eyes. "What you did back there you almost saved Charmander from the angry pack of Rhyhorn, but in the end you did got hurt from their Thunderbolts!" Alain slowly placed his left hand from his pocket and took out a material. "I always carry this around!" Ashley stared at the gorgeous silver keychain. "But I want you to have it Ashley it to declared our new fond friendship!" Alain exclaimed as he slowly watched Ashley took the material out of his hand.
Ashley stared directly at the material, as she slowly took a deep breath. "Thank you Alain for everything but are you sure you want me to keep your keychain!" Ashley responded, as she went back glancing into his deep blue eyes.
Alain slightly shook his head, as he was forming a smile across his face and started speaking in a calmer tone. "Of course, Ashley like I said before this keychain declared our friendship!" Alain and Ashley arrived back at camp as they formed a perfect friendship the day they meet.
The next three weeks, Alain's and Ashley's friendship grow stronger the day they've meet not that long ago. Alain would always come to visit the Ketchum residence for a sleepover with Ashley, one time during the thunderstorm, Ashley would always hide in covers and Alain, could always calms her down, protecting her was the storms. Not only that Ashley become fast friends with Alain, but she also become friends with Ash's newer friend named Serena and her twin sister Rosalia.Ashley's tears was racing down on her cheek as she watched her best friend Alain placing his bag against the car trunk. She couldn't believe it that summer was about to ended soon, and Alain is officially leaving her. "Alain! Please don't leave!" Ashley sobbing uncontrollably as she was throwing her arms around his neck and slowly crying softly into his hoodie.
Alain was stroking her long hazel hair for comforting as he watched her crying her heart out. "Hey! Hey! Hey! Ashley please don't cry I know it's hard for me to leave you behind but I sadly have too!" Alain reassuring as he was wiping her tears away. "Promise me this to yourself that don't ever give up on something you love to do Ashley and maybe one day we would reunited with each other! This keychain would always find our way back with each other Ashley!" Alain explaining, as he placed his lips against her forehead for comforting.
Ashley felt his hands was pulling away as she watched carefully at her best friend slowly approaching to the car. Ashley become waving at the car driving away from her and she slightly looked down on the ground, as she was fighting off the tears. "Alain! I promise one day I'll try to search you and we would reunited with each other once again!" Ashley took out the keychain from her pocket, as she was holding it tightly and biting her lower lip tightly.
Ashley slowly took a deep breath, as she was still holding Hydra into her arms. "And when he left I was in complete heart broken!" Ashley exclaimed as she was still walking throughout the forest. Hydra complete interesting of her trainer background story. "That why my main goal is to reunite with him, and have the courage to tell him my true feelings!" Ashley responded, calmly as she could hear something moving from the brush. "Huh!" Ashley stopped tracked as she slightly watched a quadrupedal, caribou-like Pokemon. It has a tan pelt with a cream-colored belly and a few spots on its back. "That's a Stantler!" Ashley exclaimed as she took out her Pokédex to check on the information.'Stantler, the Big Horn Pokémon. Its large curved horns subtly bend the flow of air around them, which creates a mysterious warp in reality.'
Ashley quickly puts away her Pokédex back into her pocket as she widen her eyes in shocked. "Oh no! I forgot about not looking at there antlers!" Ashley exclaimed, as she was shaking through her body and watched the Stantler's antlers promptly light up and transporting Ashley and Hydra into the illusion.
Ashley gently opened her eyes as she had Hydra in her arms. "Huh! What happened!" Ashley muttered under her breath uncontrollably as she noticed a white clear smoke was around her. "What's this!" Ashley continued muttering under her breath as she was looking frantically at the strange city is lined by tall office buildings and wide brick and cobblestone boulevards, while the avenues of the inner portion are lined by smaller Parisian-style buildings. "That's strange Hydra! I didn't know this forest has a city outside!" Ashley exclaimed as she began walking through the city and she was amazed at so many small shops and cafés line the many streets. "I didn't know that the Sinnoh has this gorgeous city!" Ashley exclaimed as she was holding Hydra in her arms.
Hydra was impressed how large the city was and has so many small shops. Ashley stopped tracked as she glanced at the large white high-tech tower. "No way Hydra! That looks exactly like this symbol from the keychain that Alain gave me when we were younger kids!" Ashley exclaimed, as she felt tears was racing down on her cheek and she narrowly down her direction to noticed a red and white Pokeball symbol on the center. "This looks a similar Gym symbol!" Ashley muttered under her breath as she was taking a few step towards the large tower.
Hydra was holding Ashley's shirt tightly as she suddenly stopped taking a few steps. "What is it Hydra?" Ashley exclaimed as she watched carefully at her Hydra getting out of her arms and began racing to the different direction. "Hydra, wait up! Where your going!" Ashley responded, as she was chasing after Hydra.Ashley continued chasing after Hydra with her running through her mind then she stopped her direction as the young trainer stared at the white brick wall with a beautiful green field and light blue roof top while she was noticing that Hydra glancing at the strange building. "Hydra! Thank goodness!" Ashley speak in a relief tone as she picked up Hydra from her ground and continued staring at the building once more.
"Ashley! Wake up!" Ashley suddenly snapped her thoughts out as she was blinking her eyes a few times to noticed that Brock was carrying her into his arms carefully as she slightly looking over her shoulder and watched Dawn was carrying Hydra in her arms lightly.
Ashley slowly got out of Brock's arm as she was rubbing her head throughout the pain. "What happened the last thing I remembered that I was some kind of large city!" Ashley muttered under her breath as she continued rubbing her head, clenching her teeth tightly and noticing that her twin brother Ash was battling against Paul once again.
Dawn walked over to Ashley as she gave Hydra back to her, with a small smile on her face and started speaking in a calmer tone. "I'm guessing you looked at Stantler's antlers by accident, Ashley!" Ashley began face palming herself, as she felt embarrassed that Stantler was using it antlers against her and teleporting her to another place. "Don't blame yourself Ashley! You were a bite confused before—-."
Ashley quickly cut off the blue hair trainer as she began freaking out a little. "Dawn! I need to go back to the forest I lost something important to me!" Ashley was about to run off once again, as she felt a sudden touch on her shoulder. She slowly stared into Dawn's blue eyes with a concerned look on her face.
"Ashley just please calm down you don't have too and I'm sure where going to find it hopefully!" Dawn exclaimed as she was comforting Ashley with a small smile on her face. "No need to worry!" Dawn speak in her usual cheerful attitude.
Ashley was about to say something until she saw her twin brother's Turtwig fainted in the battlefield. "Oh no! I can't believe he lost another battle against him!" Ashley muttered under her breath as she felt terribly bad for her twin brother.
Ash falls into his knees to the ground as he felt sad that he lost the battle against his rival Paul and gently picks up Turtwig from the ground. "I'm sorry Turtwig. I did my best, but I let you down." Ash apologize as he was glancing at his newly caught Turtwig.
Ashley and the others were slowly walking over to Ash. "Look at the bright side." Brock exclaimed as he was impressed of the battle between him and Paul.Ashley has everything running through her mind, about that strange city from before.
Dawn shook her head lightly as she was also impressed of the battle between Ash and Paul. "It was an awesome battle, and I learned a lot!" Dawn exclaimed, as she felt her heart was beating fast when she stared at Paul's dark eyes.
Ashley and the others watched Paul's Chimchar doing a happy dance for the win. "Being pathetic is nothing to be proud of." Paul speak in a lower tone as he was returning his Chimchar to its Pokeball.
Ash clenched his fits tightly as he quickly stood up from the ground and started scolding him. "Paul, can't you say anything nice." Ashley was biting her lower lip as she felt anger boiling over her body.
Paul smirked in a self-deprecating way, and pulled his jacket pocket tightly."Nice to who? I wouldn't know what else to say to a loser." Paul speak in a lower tone, as he was not caring about his own Pokémon. Dawn, Brock, Ash, Espeon, Pikachu, Piplup and Hydra were glaring at the purple hair trainer. Paul began walking off as he throw something at Ashley. Which Ashley quickly caught something from her hand as she realized that it was her keychain. "Here I found this worthless keychain while I was leaving this forest! By the way Ashley good luck of finding this person, he might be worth it after all!" Paul exclaimed, as he began walking off again.
Ashley stared at the keychain, as she was ignoring her surroundings and having a lot of questions through her head.'Why did all of the sudden, I gotten dragged into this strange city! I'm wondering is this part of the Sinnoh Region!'Ashley was holding her keychain tightly in her hands, as she was more determined for her main goal.
