"Isn't he just dreamy." Danielle was staring at the sister that she most recently made up with.

After they made up, life seemed to return to normal, but she was not quite content as she should have been. There were no guarantees that she'd see her friend anytime soon, that all depended on Aunt Sarah's own judgement. And as much as she hated to admit it, she was loathing spending time with Collette. The entire time that Collette fantasized over Meelus from their hiding spot, only one thing ran through Danielle's head, "I am my own dog". She needed a way to give Collette something to do without her. A few options ran through her head. As amusing as it was, she didn't see Collette running around with the group that Scamp, Angel, Killian and Annette had formed. She doubted her sister would venture out to the park alone. Hoping that she'd just approach Meelus was also a pipe dream. That's when an idea struck her.

"Oh Meelus! Can we talk!" She shouted out loudly, getting the attention of the shaggy dog. Collette looked at her with a death glare and whispered panickedly, "What are you doing! He knows we're here now, what were you..."

"How go'z it you two? You wanted to talk, yes?" The shaggy dog ended Collette's panic, who now seemed to be trying, nervously to put her words together.

"Collette was just wondering if you wanted to take a walk to the park with her?" Danielle asked casually for her nerve wrecked sister.

He looked over at a slightly-shaking Collette "Sure, slept in late this morning. Didn't get no chance to stretch my legs out," He began walking off, before turning back to face Collette, "You coming?"

She snapped out of her trance and fell into step alongside the bigger dog, who had started humming an unknown tune. She turnt back once to face Danielle, who gave her a wink of confidence and trotted off in the opposite direction.

When she got back to the house, the first thing she did was look up at the window where Thomas slept. Nothing. Nothing had come out of that room for quite some time and she was getting nervous. As she walked through the lawn, a grey bundle of fur crashed into her.

"Scamp look what you've done now!" She heard Angel's voice.

Danielle looked up to see Scamp, fully grown and just slightly shorter than his father, ducking his head sheepishly, before Angel tackled him to the ground.

"No fair!" He complained in his sometimes whiny voice.

"All's fair the way I play." Responded Angel.

Suddenly he was taken to the ground yet again, this time by a smaller, terrier mutt.

"That's twice now Scamp." Angel laughed.

He ignored her and targeted Killian who had took off, challenging the bigger dog to chase him. Angel stayed behind and turnt to Danielle.

"I take it Collette is stalking Meelus. Not in the mood today?" She asked, while smirking.

Danielle smiled happily at her sister-in-law, "She finally got the guts to talk to him, not just spy on him."

Her eyes widened in surprise, "That's a first", her eyes narrowed down in curiosity, "You had something to do with it?"

"Some casual coversation, she handled the rest" Danielle shrugged it off at that.

Angel laughed, "Right...anyhow, Annette was wanting to talk to you about something, we should go find her, if you fancy me coming along?"

"Sure thing, I wonder what she wants?" She questioned while taking off into the house, with Angel following closely behind.

That was when she heard what could only be her mother's cries.
