Spider-Man/Doctor Strange The Midnight Sons Chapter 10
Wanda and Satana continued their battle above the streets of New York as the back and forth between the two caused collateral damage to near-by buildings.
Wanda uses her hex magic to blast Satana over and over again as the daughter of Mephisto counters with Hellfire causing Wanda to shield herself.
"So you think yourself powerful eh Maximoff? If only your brother could see you now" said Satana as her Hellfire was causing Wanda to kneel.
"What do you know of my brother?" asked Wanda as she felt Satana's magic becoming too much for her.
"I see him every other week in hell. So much for dying a hero. What a waste." Satana spat.
Wanda's eyes began to lit up with her hex magic in a rage as she began to rose to her feet getting her second wind. Wanda unleashes a massive Shockwave of hex magic energy that sent Satana flying into a skyscraper with Wanda in hot pursuit.
Wanda lands as Satana throws a fireball as it got parried by a hex sphere. Satana goes for another as it again gets parried by Wanda. The Scarlet Witch walks up hellbent as she grabs Satana by the throat.
"I should kill you here and now. Send you back to hell where you belong and make you burn for the things you said about my brother Pietro. But I won't. I'm better than that. Better than you. All I was supposed to do was buy my friend some time." said Wanda.
"And all I wanted to do was have a nice Halloween out. But my damn dad had me do this all this bullshit. I was supposed to be at a party having a good time." said Satana.
Wanda let's her go. "Then help us do the right thing. You can end this. Tonight. Frankly I didn't want to be working on Halloween either."
"We need to hurry back. Your friends won't be able to close the portal fast enough if my father is already sending more of his army." said Satana.
Right as she said that, a massive explosion was heard as the ground was busted open. A lone figure rose up in the air.
"Oh no..." said Wanda.
"We're too late" said Satana.
Indeed they were. The devil Mephisto was among them.
Minutes earlier.
Bodies of werewolves, vampires, and demons piled up as both Spider-Man and Ava lead the troops and the charge still making their final stand.
Ava was still holding her ground firing her gun. "There's too many of them!" she shouts as a werewolf takes her down as she uses her blaster to hold it back while she was pinned down.
Nate was punching his way through werewolves as the pack number overwhelmed him as he continued to fight them all off him.
Mick was setting vampires on fire as he stabbed one with a wooden stake he kept for such an occasion. "HAPPY HALLOWEEN YOU BLOOD SUCKING BASTARDS!!"
"Oh we're so fucked" said Constantine as he threw more fireballs and Ghost Rider whipped his chain around.
"Oi Blaze! You mind if I borrow your head for a sec?" asked Constantine as he pulled out a cigarette and used Johnny's flamming head to light it up.
Ghost Rider charged back into the fight as Constantine sat behind a car and took a smoke break.
"Guys the ship's being swarmed!" said Gary. "I'm working on it" said Zari as she tried to maneuver and fire all the ship's guns as best she could. "I'm afraid to be the bearer of bad news but none of this is working" said Gideon.
Back on the ground as Ava still desperately tried to hold off the werewolves pinned on top of her, more were closing in.
"BAD FIDO! BAD DOG!" Ava said as the monster roared back.
As the werewolf went for the kill, Moon Knight comes rushing in with Moonerangs in hand and uses them to stab the beast off as he then ferociously slices and guts it getting blood all on his costume. He then threw more Moonerangs at the other werewolves. Ava gets back to her feet as she helps Marc by blasting at them. Moon Knight goes for the final kill with his bo staff as he breaks its bones and neck with it.
Spider-Man was leaping on top of some monsters as one by one knocked on them out. He then noticed The Waverider under attack by a swarm of demons. "Oh god" he said as the eyes on his mask widened. He then goes to crawl up the wall of a building and using his webs to slingshot him up in range of the ship.
Spider-Man does a series of web strikes as he pulls himself closely to the demons taking them out one after another all across the Waverider. "Hang on... Almost got them" said Spider-Man in between attacks.
"It appears that Mr. Parker is assisting us" said Gideon. "Thanks Captain Obvious" said Zari.
As Spider-Man finished, he then gets taken by a swarm as gets thrown back down to the ground and got scratched and clawed on.
But as all hope appeared to be lost, help mysteriously arrived.
A storm of bullets and shotgun shells evened the odds as the heroes take a look to see than none other than Elsa Bloodstone, the famed Monster Hunter.
"Looks like you lovelies could use some help" said Elsa as she took off her motorcycle helmet.
"Took you long enough" said Moon Knight.
"Wait. Who the hell is she?" asked Ava.
"Elsa Bloodstone darling. Monster Hunter Extraordinaire. And you are?" asked Elsa.
"Now's not the time. Strange what's your status?" asked Moon Knight.
Blade was using his sword to cut through the monster horde as Doctor Strange desperately tries to finish up with the ritual.
Blade continues to effortlessly fight and fight and fight using nearly every weapon and tool on him. He sliced heads, arms and other limbs as he filled up monsters with silver bullets, wooden stakes, and other holy weapons. But he gets taken down. Doctor Strange turns to see his friend in need. "NO! FINISH THIS!" said Blade as he grabbed his sword and killed a vampire off of him. A demon then grabs Blade by throat with its sharp claws at the ready got the kill.
However it was caught by the Crimson Bands of Cyttorak as Doctor Strange comes in for the save. The Sorcerer Supreme cleared the horde using his spells and other magical weapons and banished the creatures to a pocket dimension.
Doctor Strange then helps up Blade. "I didn't need your help" said the Day walker as he pulls himself back up.
"We don't have much time. We need to-"
But before Doctor Strange could finish his thought, Hellfire came bursting through the portal as they were too late. Mephisto found his opening. So he took it as he bursts through to the surface.
"AT LAST! I WILL HAVE MY VENGEANCE! MY RULE OVER THIS WORLD WILL LAST FOR ETERNITY!" Mephisto proclaimed.
"We need to get out of here. Gather the others." said Blade as Strange conjured a sling ring portal out of there.
"I'm detecting a massive demonic presence" said Gideon. "Guys... We have a bigger problem" said Zari.
"What is it? Do you have a visual?" asked Ava.
"The man of the hour himself" said Constantine as he points up to Mephisto.
