Prepare yourself for this (at least for me) heartbreaking chapter.

Chapter 3s2: Grandma Aniu

"Soo this is how you dogs get food? Thats kinda lame and pathetic... you have to obey those monsters to get some leftovers..." Lisa said kinda disgusted. "Whats the problem Auntie? Those 'leftovers' are really tasty, i really like to get a bone as a snack after helping humans." Kodi said in hope that Lisa will get the point. "See thats the problem, you have to obey them and work hard to just get a bone, you feel that this is fair for you? Working hard to earn bone?" Lisa said as she looked at Kodi's face, while crushing one bone with her paw. "Lisa could you not? You waste nice bone... and stop interrupting the way we like to live. You can go back to your oasis where blood flow like streams." Balto said in anger and low growl. "When did you became soo good at adapting to place, you became soft." Lisa said as she stood to all fours looking into Balto's eyes. "And when did you became such a jerk? Whats your problem?" Balto said with growl. Kodi just froze as he watched his dad arguing with his sister, it wasnt comfortable for any of them and it wasnt looking comfortable for hes dad as his sister was bigger than he. He continued to stare at each others for next few seconds. "Wanna know why im like this? Answer me one question... Where is mom?" Lisa asked really seriously, Kodi noticed immediately that hes dad became softer. "Wha..What? Thats question that i should ask you..." Balto said as he slightly lowered hes head. "Mom never got back, tell me where she is" Lisa said seriously as never before. "I... I dont understand what you're saying..."Balto said softly and unconfidently. "You see, out mom never came back that day..." Lisa said still holding her position. "You mean... " Balto started. "...I bet those lovely humans of yours kill..." As Lisa was trying to end sentence balto interpreted her. "NO! Dont say that. That cannot be truth... i saw our mother, im sure it was her!" Balto shouted. "She never came back Balto, you have to understand... shes gone. She died because of those humans. And our 'father' who never loved us or cared about us." Lisa shouted. And got outside. Balto was so confused that only thing he could do was to support hes head aginst wall. Kodi still siting in one place, paralyzed by shock and what he heard, he only hear ringing in hes ears as he stare into one point. He never expected to hear something like this.

It took some time till someone said something. "Kodi?... Kodi? Are you all right?" Balto asked softly, ringing in Kodis ears stopped, as Balto sit next to his him. "Im sorry you had to listen to this... its really hard to all of us." Balto said softly. "Grandma... shes dead.. I never meet her but it hurts so badly..." Kodi said still looking at one spot. "One day you will see her, all of us will..." Balto said. "But I already saw grandma... i see her every day dad." Kodi said still without any emotions. "Son I dont understand you now.." Balto said looking at hes son. "Im sorry dad... but i know where grandma is..." As Lisa heard this she came in. "Where is she?" Lisa asked. "Come with me."

After few minutes of walk in silence the group of three reached Kodi's owner's home. "Son I dont understand..." Balto began. "Please dont make it harder dad" Kodi pushed door to hes owner home, just to make hes dad and aunt see their mother... theirs mother's fur hanging on the wall above fireplace.

And thats it, a hard chapter it hurts so much that i wrote this, but this is how it has to be. This is what happened that day... but why?

Woah shit, another story that's had a year gap? But what about your collab with Steve-just-a-gut? I think it was called Aleu's family.

It's difficult to juggle all these fanfictions of balto but I like this one so far! Keep up the good work

Im glad youre here, im glad you enjoy my work, i hope this chapter will be something that you will understand and feel emotionally as i did when making it.The other stories were left as this one when i was gone, maybe ill come back to them, time will tell.In terms of my collab stories its hard for me to say anything, but i know and i feel that i want to come back to them. I had a real good time making them, Steve-just-a-gut and Kodiwolf123 are amazing writers, working with them was a big pleasure. I will contact them to hopefully continue and finish what we started more than year ago, only if they would like to finish what we started.
