"Hahuna Ma-what-a?"

Back out at Emerald Town, Vector is talking to Rosemary under a tree by a rock.

"Oh ho ho ho ho." Chuckled Vector. "It means 'No worries.'"

"I see..." Rosemary looked a bit sceptical.

"So, I told the boy: To find Hakuna Matata, you must look beyond what you see."

"Ohh." Rosemay nodded, "A metaphor."

"Well, actually, it's not a meta—"

Vector gets clocked in the head with his own stick.

"You used a metaphor on Miles?!" Cried Rosemary, "He takes things literally!" She then got a bad feeling, "That's it. He's starving out there. I just know it!"

She rushed over to Merlin's house. "Merlin! Miles' out there chasing metaphors. I've gotta go find him!"

"Are you nuts?!" Cried Merlin, annoyed.

"Nice to have a supportive family, isn't it?" She muttered, disgusted. "Well," Rosemary went on bravely, "here I go."

"Remember," Vector said in a sage pose, "the journey of a thousand miles begins with the first step."

"Thanks." Rosemary said with a hint of sarcasm. "Here's my first step:"

She jumps squarely onto Vector's foot.

The crocodile winced, but he restrained himself to say something.

Rosemary then headed back to Merlin's house crossly.

"You have to help me find him. He's your nephew and is part of your family." said Rosemary.

"You cannot make me go." Merlin growled.

"Of course I can." Rosemary retorted, "Remember, I'm the leader of the colony."

"Then I will not be part of it."

"Well, you're free to go, I hope you have a place to go."

Hearing this, Merlin changed his mind, he knew he had nowhere to go and that the rogues could kill him otherwise.

"Well, OK." He said at last, "I'll go with you."

"Now, crocodile, where'd Miles go?"

But they realized that Vector was gone.

"Great, now what?" asked the male fox.

"We'll have to find him on our own." Rosemary sighed, "The journey will be long, so we have to pack some supplies. Come on."

"Yeeeeoooow!"

Sonic pulled out some quills from Tails' back.

"Ah!"

"Guess bowling for porcupines…" Sonic trailed, "wasn't the best idea, huh?" He tossed the quill to the side.

"Yeah. Gotta be right up there with bobbing for snapping turtles." Sonic plucks out another quill. "Aah ha ha ha ha hoo!"

"Ohh, that's gonna leave a mark." The blue hedgehog sighed, then looks at some buzzards nearby. "Hey, look, Tails. Buzzards! What do you say? One more round?"

"Sonic, I'm beat." Tails sighed, plucking the last quill out. "The chili dogs are cooking right now so how about we eat and then hit the sack."

"Yum!" Sonic looked keen after that, thinking about a juicy chili dog meal, when suddenly, he looked in the desert again. A young mobian echidna child was caught among the non-mobain vultures.

"Tails, look!" Cried Sonic, "That poor guy's going to be eaten if we don't do something."

"Oh my goodness! Well, in that case!" Tails sprang into action, "let's get those buzzards!"

Sonic and Tails go charging into the desert towards the buzzards.

"Yaaaah!"

The movie pauses and Tails begins narrating again.

"Who knows why fate led us to little Knuckles that day?" He said, "Neither of us knew how he ended up in the desert then. But what we did know, was that Knuckles needed help, and we'd do anything in our will to help... hang on!" He cried, "Who's in charge of the freeze frames?"

"Sorry." Sonic said quietly.

"Anywho..." Tails resumes the movie and narration, "Rescuing Knuckles was a cinch." Sonic and Tails place the unconscious Knuckles between them and carry him off back to the jungle. "Then came the reeeally scary part. ...Parenthood."
