Chapter 10

The Gateship was a redesigned Janus special with hyperdrive and cloaking device, it was one of the older type that Janus had called a Combat Gateship. At 26 meters long and can have 5 crew and 40 passengers, the reason Kurt told Colonel Mavia to take it was because of it's advanced Alteran sensors and new interface systems. As the Gateship slowly entered the system that the probe had discovered the next contact and began an in-depth scan of the whole system, beginning from the outer planets towards the sun and back to this third planet.

It was hard to find anything until the scanner operator and Navigation officer notice a small reading, Lieutenant Janet Piper spoke up from her station without taking her eyes from the screen "Colonel, after a complete scan of the system I was starting to believe that the probe was malfunctioning, then I found a very small Ancient contact is being emitted from the large Asteroid orbiting the moon of the third planet,"

"Okay, move us in for a closer look to see what we have," said Lozen Mavia

"yes ma'am" The Gateship slowly made its way towards the planet and large moon, scans of the planet shown it was inhabitable and clear of any contact. The moon was the same, but as they came closer to the moon, there was a third object coming into range.

"Contact Ma'am, it is an asteroid orbiting the moon looks like it may be a space station built on it," said Janet Piper and as the Amazon came closer

"What in the known universe is that on the edge of the asteroid?" said Lozen "Focus on the section close to the edge!" the forward screen than magnified the area "That is not a station built on an asteroid, that is a cloaked space station to look like an asteroid, and by the look of that shimmer, one of it's shielding generators have been damaged and its power supply is very low. Wait, is that another Ancient cityship? Or is it just the station?"

"Unsure ma'am, not until we get closer, it could be part of the station," said Janet

"We need to get into the station and have a closer look," said Lozen

"I will try ma'am," said Ensign Darlene Trieu

The Gateship moved in closer until it was about five hundred thousand meters from the surface, "looks like it's been here for a while" said Grace,

"For some reason, our scanners can not penetrate past the surface of the station," said Janet

"First, let us try contacting the station through the interface," said Lozen

"Yes ma'am," said Darlene, and a few minutes later and the shields drop and the station decloaked, "To the station, we are just another friendly ship returning home," and inside one of the docks close to them, the lights began to flicker on "Are you doing this Janet?"

"Yes Darlene, the station is letting me activate the power room from here, but like Olympus, its ZPM will need replenishing very soon, there is still enough power to run the station for at least a few years. New ZPM's are in the station's storage so we can replace them, also Olympus as well," said Janet, the Gateship entered the docking bay through the atmosphere shields and rested on one of the docking areas, it lowered and parked the gateship with many more gateships. Lozen Mavia, Janet Piper, Darlene Trieu, Tomoe Gazen, and Verner Hausler walked out of the gateship storage area and straight into the control room and they all sat at the stations' console, Lozen sat on the chair and began to interact with the station.

"Darlene, take Verner and replace those ZPM before we start please," asked Lozen

"Yes ma'am," and the two headed out of the control room

"I going to reactivate the maintenance droids to repair the shields and cloaking device and anything else that need repairing," said Lozen, then she saw the replacements of the ZPM's, "Darlene and Verner just replace the ZPM's and everything is coming to light, Wait a minute," Lozen was reading what the station was "Wow! this station is just a little more than just a station, it's the golden door prize that SGC had been searching for all these years"

"What is that Colonel !"

"To put it as General O'Neill would say, This place could be where the ancients used to build their big honking ship with big honking guns after they lost Olympus," said Lozen, then activated the view screen in the control room, what they saw was a fleet of ships belonging to the Ancients, with a few ships of the Goa'uld, Colonial and Cylon and a new two unnamed cityship and they all looked as if they were built yesterday.

"I thought Olympus was their construction center?" asked Janet

"By the station records, it was, then when it was lost, they built this station. Wow, Darlene, I think you should try to contact the Olympus," said Lozen, as Darlene came back.

"Yes Ma'am,"

"The stations log informed us that the station was reactivated 10,000 years ago by our old friend," said Lozen

"Janus!"

"Yep" and a hologram appeared

"Greeting, if I believe and hope that I am talking to the Tau'ri? Then you all know who I am, I am using the Tau'ri name because of the people that are in the stasis pods. As you know, when I return to this Galaxy from the Pegasus Galaxy, a found a few surprises and have ordered the construction spiders to repair upgrade them. Because Elizabeth told me that Stargate Command will be fighting the Goa'uld and our old enemy in the future and may need help to do so. So I promise Elizabeth that I will do what I can, it wasn't until I arrive in this galaxy that two servants of a higher being came and held me to that promise.

As you know, the first thing I did was to repair and upgrade those ships in Alpha Centauri. Next was Olympus, which I hope you have found from the records in Alpha Centauri. Finally, I had to find this station, and you will be right to say it is a construction station and it was in very poor shape when I found it. Using one of my time traveling ships, I return to this station one hundred and fifty thousand years in its past and began to revamp and upgrade this old Station by using my repair spiders again."

"The Station was built to carry on the inheritance of the Alteran empire and to monitor a group of humans of the Kobolian experiment with Olympus, but as I told you before, that experiment became another complete failure. So I left Olympus at Kobol and moved this station to a safe area to safeguard it from any destruction and to begin it's upgraded for when I return to my timeline, it should be a fully automated construction station, and by the time you arrive, this dock will be able to build not just your ships! But those in this dock as well"

"Sadly while I was in the colonial time, I came across a few thousand survivors from the colonies and placed them in the stasis pod in this outpost. They are mostly children and have no idea how much their religion and their government was corrupted, there are 50 thousand very young and orphan children and while they are in stasis, they will be retaught the lessons of the colonies and of my people. They can be trained to use the technology of the ancient and your ships, I also know that you too will have to be retrained to know our technology and that is why I have set up a few training chairs for your people to learn from."

"Do not worry! I know how the Repository of Knowledge was too much for your simple minds to handle and may have coursed some problems, so I have readjusted these chairs to the only implant what your human brain is capable of until your race is more developed. So good luck and I will be watching. One more thing, I have built two new time ships that you will find hidden in Olympus, if you have not found Olympus yet, go to these concordances to a planet called Kobol, you will find it waiting,"

"Wow!" said Lozen, everyone else just stared with their mouth open "Did he just say that he gave us the Ancient legacy?"

"And everybody else as well," said Janet Piper

"No, just us, what are we going to do now?" asked Tomoe Gazen

"well, I think before we wake up those children, we are all going to have a turn on those chairs! Because I don't think we all want them to know more than us" said Lozen as they walked to a huge window that overlooked the space station "then somehow we have to start to recolonize these worlds to help Earth in the future,"

"There is a second message here?" said Lozen and she played it again, Janus appeared again,

"After returning to my time, I have come across another fleet of refugee's, their planet and society have been destroyed by the Goa'uld and only 200 thousand of them remain out of a possible 60 billion. I have found a new home for most of them and given them a small amount of help so they can survive, they then asked me for help with over twenty thousand of their young who were orphaned by the Goa'uld and had no family to support them and will more than likely die. I have also placed these orphans in the extra stasis pods that I created, you will find their new planet listed in the computers. They may not have been in these pods for as long as the Colonials, but they will know just as much. They are called The Sekhmet and from what I believe, they are the descendants of the Furlings just as you are our descendants. I will leave them in your hands, please look after them and help them survive, once again I will say goodbye"

"Who are these Sekhmet?" asked Darlene Trieu

"I can help with that Question," said Tomoe Gazen "The Sekhmet was a species of feline humanoids that the Goa'uld Bastet had used for hosts, if I remember correctly from SGC records, the Adults are reported to be roughly 6.5 feet tall, with short soft fur covering their whole bodies. They had pointed snouts, triangular swiveling ears and resemble mostly a cat in appearance. They have whiskers, sharp teeth and thin, razor-sharp claws on each hand and feet"

"Dam," said Lozen

"Well, no one has seen them but I have read reports of them from Teal'c and other Jaffa's, It was suggested that Bastet enjoyed using the Sekhmet over the Unas as host in the time before humans became the standard. After humanity was discovered, the Sekhmet was largely abandoned and slaughtered by Bastet, and their ultimate fate was unknown until now, rumors have it that some primitive tribes of Sekhmet could still exist on fringes of the Goa'uld worlds, and there are rumors of advanced feline aliens in the far corners of the galaxy. But no one knows whether these aliens are Sekhmet or another species of felines as it is unknown at the moment" finish Tomoe

"So these Sekhmet could be very useful to us if Kurt decides to start a colony, well we better get this station back to Kobol so we can start to get these people out of the pods to start looking for this new Sekhmet homeworld. The station has it's own hyperdrive engines, as soon as they are checked and reactivated, we can return to Kobol," finished Lozen

Colonel Lozen Mavia and her four crew returned to Kobol five days later and inform Kurt just what they found, he then understood just what those two beings told him. Kurt though had to do something first, with a pile of letters and a list of the married family members from the crew of both ships, Kurt decided to return to the future.

Kurt decided to appear to Jack six weeks before the Chinese attack, he knew Jack was heading to the mountains to his cabin the weekend after the Bismark and Amazon left Earth, about three weeks before the war. The longest part was the hyperspace journey back to earth, then a quick phase to the future, and in no time, the cloaked ship was resting beside the lake just a few minutes before Jack arrived, pretty good timing he thought, but what he didn't know was Jack had with him the old SG1 team.

"Good evening General," said Kurt

"Captain Bruhn! What the hell are you doing here and where is your ship?" said Jack

"Well sir, that is a long story and I would rather you all sit with me and listen before having me arrested?" said Kurt, and Jack thought about it

"It couldn't hurt sir," said General Sam Carter

"I can't see any ship nearby, so it must be a good story," said Daniel

"Indeed," said Teal'c

"Okay, let's hear it," Said Jack, and they all sat down on the chair nearby and Kurt told him his story up to the time he arrived here. "So you're telling me that your two ships were thrown back in time?"

"Yes sir?" said Kurt

"Where is this timeship now?" said Daniel and Kurt pressed his remote and the ship appeared near the lake

"It is of Ancient design, but it is nothing like I have ever seen," said Carter as she walked around the ship,

"It is one of two of Janus special designs ships, thanks to Elizabeth Weir," said Kurt, and Kurt told them of the problem he is facing, "You see sir, I can bring the crew back and help you to prepare for the war that is coming, or I can stay in the past and build a colony with a lot of ships to help not just earth of the future, and the galaxy as well,"

"And you want me to make that choice for you?" said Jack

"No sir, I have made my choice already," said Kurt

"And that is?" said Sam

"I am staying, but the problem is that not all the crew know yet that there is a solution, only the leadership and I would like to have the crews family with them to make that choice," said Kurt

"Do you know what the result of this war was?" asked Jack

"No sir, I would like to think that my colonies came to help you, or we can leave something in Alpha Centauri to help you after," said Kurt

"Why not both," said Sam

"That can be arranged, but you will only know about them now and all you need to do is crew them," said Kurt

"I wish you have given us more time," said Daniel

"If I did that, we wouldn't be here right now, or in the right place and time to go back 500 years in time in the first place, even the slightest change and I would have come back to a new timeline," said Kurt

"How do you know that you not in one now?" said Jack, as he handed him an envelope. On it was his name, after he opened the envelope and pulled out the letter and read it, there were two words, Cancel Mission. Jack gave him another Envelope "We found the ships back in 2008, you better go home and build your colony the best you can and we will see you shortly,"

"Yes sir," finished Kurt, and as he stood to leave.
