Hey, everybody. I hope everything's going well, especially with the current state of…well, everything. I know I basically fell off the face of the earth for a year, and for that I'm sorry. I also apologize that I'm emerging from hiatus only to tell you what's been on my mind for the last year.

It's with a heavy heart that I tell you that, unless something changes, there will be no more updates for this story.

I don't make this decision lightly, and I wish to heck things had turned out differently. When I wrote my first installment of my Reverse Falls story back in 2017, I had no idea I would want to continue writing fanfics, much less that my stories would generate the following they did. When I did start to understand, the last thing I wanted to do was to end up like so many other fanfics I enjoyed: amazing stories that were cut short prematurely because the author had moved to a different stage in life. I know for a fact I could have been more dutiful and focused in bringing you more installments, and I would've loved to have seen my plans for this world brought to fruition.

Some things you should know about me as a writer. I'm both a perfectionist and overly-ambitious. When I come up with a story, I tend to bite off more than I can chew, charting the course for large epics for the characters to go through. I always want my work to reflect my current quality of writing, and with the large chapters I've been making, it takes a lot of time to brainstorm, write, and revise each work. This is made more difficult with trying to write two fanfics at the same time. I'm also exiting college this December, and because I'm pursuing a career in writing, more of my time is going to be required of both work and my original projects.

So, here are the three options I can give you:

1. I try to continue writing the fanfic with the time I can afford to put into it. I can't promise regular updates at all, but I know there's plenty more story to tell.

2. I put the story up for adoption. If you are interested, you can PM me. In a month's time, if this is the option people have chosen, I'll officially hand it over to someone and direct you to them.

3. I give you the outline of what I had planned for the rest of the story. While you won't get to see future chapters, you'll at least know where everything was headed.

I can't tell you how much all of your follows, favorites, and reviews meant to me. I've never had much of an audience for my work, and never knew if it was something people would enjoy. You all have shown me that my writing can reach people, and that's a blessing I will never forget. So, whether you've stuck with me through the long haul or this is your first reading of my work,

Thank you.

Sincerely,

Nathaniel
