Wow it has been so long since I had a time to write a story of any kind. Well my life has transformed so much in the last time I had typed to this story I partnered up with my friends to make another story and to make a game as well…I want to do this story justice by ending it with no regrets to its name and I'll do that by ending it hopefully by the end of the year and if I don't I am sorry for the delay because I understand the point of the readers waiting for the next chapter to be released and where the story will take them so I hope you appreciate the final chapters to this story and I thank you all for your support in this story.
Chapter Twelve: The Knight's Dream of a Champions
and The Dream of The Future of Love Part 2
The picture of him and Pyrrha kissing at their wedding would be the strangest thing he would see today, but it was far from it. As Jaune went into the kitchen with his daughter who he had no idea what her name is or any idea of how to ask her what her name is without hurting the little girl's feelings. "Daddy can we have some of your famous pancakes that you make for Aunt Nora and Uncle Ren when they come over for breakfast?" the little girl asked with a big smile on her face. "Okay baby girl I'll get right on it." "Daddy you usually call me half-pint?" the little girl said concerned on how her dad was acting towards her.
"Right sorry half pint I am just feeling a little out of it right now sweety. I'll be alright I just need some air I'll see you at the table" Jaune said as he made a break for it to the front door of the house he was in only to find that he was in Argus. "What why am in Argus?" "Hey Jaune, how's the wife and kids?" a man across the way shouted at him. "What did you say?" Jaune asked the man. "I said how's Pyrrha, Anna, and Lucas? Are you all right Jaune you seem kind of off today, are you okay?" the man asked in concern for Jaune's wellbeing. "Yeah I am fine just a little under the weather." Jaune said in the most unconvincing way he could. He had a better chance of telling everyone that the moon was made by the cows in plot to take over the world. "If you say so Jaune but, remember todays your wedding anniversary so me and the wife will be watching both Anna and Lucas for you while you take your time with your lady." His neighbor said as he gave him a wink for Jaune to as if he was supposed to get the hint, but only made him more confused on the situation.
Jaune turned to face the front of the house taking a good look at the white picket fence 'This is all kinds of wrong.' Jaune thought as he headed back into 'his house', but with every step his thoughts and fear started to change into what if this dream is what most hunters would love to have, but did he truly want this, was he a hunter he wondered as he continued to walk towards the 'perfect house' thinking 'Isn't this what we fight for a 'perfect' home to go to? A perfect life like this one, one without death and destruction. A life built on love like this a family to come home to.' Jaune thought as he walked the door and took the handle opening it not to see the inside of the house but a beautiful restaurant.
"Where am I?" Jaune said to himself as he looked around the room he had entered. "What's up with my cloths!" Jaune said as he looked down to see that he was dressed in a dark grey jacket with matching pants, he also wore a navy-blue shirt. "You're at the Green Lighting the best restaurant in all of remnant! you okay Jaune you seem kind of off?" a woman said in behind him. Jaune turned to see an older looking Nora "remember we hooked you and Pyrrha up a month ago. Usually, you would have to wait a year and a half to get on the waiting list but we bumped off Cardin's family so you guys could get the best wedding anniversary gift from us!" Nora shouted. "By the way where is Pyrrha?" She asked putting her hand on her head and standing on her tippy toes while looking for the Greek Goddess.
"Here I am, sorry was just freshening up in the ladies room." An older looking Pyrrha said as she walked out of the ladies room. She looked stunning to him her hair looked like the light of a setting sun, her eyes shined brighter than emeralds, and her skin more radiant than the moon itself, but somehow to Jaune never thought of Pyrrha this way until now.
"Well now that the Husband and Wife are now here together let me take you to the special table Ren set up for the both of you to the best seat in the house." Nora said as she grabbed their arms and lead them through the restaurant to the outside patio deck that only had one table which looked over all of the city and its wonders. "Isn't this beautiful honey?" Pyrrha asked as she looked at the city with a smile that could melt anyone's heart. But the view wasn't for Jaune he just stared at Pyrrha "It's not as beautiful as the one I am looking at now." Jaune said as he continued to look at Pyrrha. "Don't make me blush Jaune, or at least wait until we get home." Pyrrha said with a little devilish smile. There night went as planed as a married couple would have had such as a fine dinner made by their friends (mainly ren) they ended their dinner with a chardonnay wine.
They both returned at their home after the Green Lighting had been closed for the night, but they kept it open for their friends until they were either ready or they wanted to go home. They started for the door after they got a hint from Ren that Nora had fallen asleep watching them have a good time. Both Jaune and Pyrrha apologized to Ren and they made their way to the door stumbling from the amount of drinks they had, at that point they both agreed to call for a cab to take them home. The next few moments where a blur for Jaune until the cabby tried to help them to their door where they could handle themselves getting inside their house by themselves.
Both Jaune and Pyrrha made it for the couch laying on it until Pyrrha laid on top of him. "Let's make this night just as special as our wedding night" Pyrrha said leaning in for a kiss as her dress was starting to fall off on its own. Jaune took notice and he could feel his face start to turn red and he felt sweat come down his face "How about we give Anna and Lucas a younger sibling what do ya say honey?" Pyrrha said as she slurred most of her to ask Jaune as more of her dress came off in the living room. Her eyes filled with lust while she looked at him waiting for an answer. "I think we-" Jaune said before Jaune woke up.
Jaune woke up sweating from what some would call a nightmare or others the perfect dream he couldn't tell which was which. Jaune laid on his bed staring at the sealing for what felt like hours thinking about how he felt and what he wanted to do. He had forgotten how he had gotten to his bed, but he really didn't care at the moment. He finally turned to sit on the side of his be with his head in his hands thinking 'I going to die if I pick any of them and if I reject any of them I'll die a horrible death.' "Jaune where in public now's not the time to play we can save that for the bedroom." Pyrrha said in her sleep. Jaune felt his face go red and knew that was a que to leave despite it being 2 am. Jaune got up only putting on some pants and a basic t-shirt.
Jaune took a shuttle to the town to go for a walk to clear his head. He walked for what felt like hours until he got to the towns biggest park. "Maybe a stroll through the park will get my head on straight." Jaune continued his walk till he happened onto a bench which looked like the best place to sit and think for a bit.
"What do I do?" Jaune said to himself as he put his head in his hands. "Well, I think you should look deep in your heart and pick the one you like the most and not think of what ifs." A voice said next to Jaune on the bench. It started Jaune so badly he almost fell off the bench. "Who are you?" Jaune asked trying to regain his balance on the bench. "Oh, thanks for reminding me that I never gave you my name, my name is Vincent and I've been in your situation before young man and take it from me, I had to decide between two women who loved me, and I was afraid of which one I would end up hurting, but if they truly love you then they will understand how you feel." Vincent said as he looked to the sky thinking back to the days where love was a hard and arduous decision in his life.
"I don't regret my decision I've made because she didn't think I would love her because she had been in an accident when she was a young girl which left her in a disfigured state. She figured that love was never an option for her but, I told her that 'I love you not because of who you are, but because of who I am when I am with you' and she made me a better person I was always filled with this overwhelming pride that got me in trouble, but when she was around I felt like I had to be a better person and let go of my pride to be a better hunter. I bet if I never met her I wouldn't be here today I would've died young in some sort of hunting accident HA HA." Vincent laughed while he slapped her leg. "Now don't keep those girls waiting because you'll hurt them more by making them wait." Vincent said as he gripped onto his cane.
"Thanks for the advice Vincent it might have helped me out a bit, but who did you choose if you don't mind me asking?" Jaune said as he tried to look at Vincent in the eyes to see that the old man was gone without a trace except for the cane that he was gripping onto earlier. Jaune wondered where he went, but it didn't matter in the end he had made his decision. Jaune headed towards the academy typing a text to all the girls saying, 'Meet me on the roof after lunch today, I want to talk to all of you.'
