Disclaimer I do not own The Vampire Diaries, The Originals or their characters, only the plot and characters I have created.
Everyone had left the party and Olivia had made her way to the parlor where she saw Klaus sitting in front of the fire, sipping a glass of bourbon. The flames lit his face with warm light. She placed a hand on his shoulder and sat down next to him.
"Hi." She smiled softly. His face didn't change. His expression was angry. "Hey, what's wrong." She placed her other hand on his other shoulder. He shoved them off. "What happened to you. You seemed happy last time I saw you." She placed her hand on his inner thigh. "How can I help?" She offered another smile. He looked up at her with saddened eyes. She quickly became more worried. He wrapped his arm around her and she leaned her head on his shoulder. "Talk to me."
"I don't know."
"Don't know what."
"I don't know what to say."
"You don't have to say anything if you don't want to. I just enjoy being with you. But I'm alway here for you." He smiled and they stayed in silence for a long time.
"Olivia?" Klaus looked over and saw a sleeping girl, he smiled lightly and took her in his arms. She shifted a little but stayed asleep. He unzipped her dress expertly and slipped it off of her leaving her in nothing but her underwear. He lay her down in her bed and pulled the covers over her, leaving once he knew she was comfortable.
In the morning, the sun woke her up. She didn't remember going to bed and smiled at the thought that Klaus had put her to sleep. She slid out of her silk sheets and walked over to the chair that had her robe tossed over it. She put on the thin blue fabric and made her way over to the bathroom to get ready.
She walked down the stairs and saw Klaus sitting in the same place as he had the night before. "Good morning." Olivia said. When Klaus didn't respond she frowned and walked over to him. "Did you put me in bed last night?" Still, he said nothing. Olivia didn't like being ignored and she didn't have much of a temper either so she stormed out of the room.
"What's wrong with you." Olivia looked up and saw Rebekah making herself a cup of tea.
"Your brother won't talk to me."
"He doesn't talk to anyone."
"Yah but he always talks to me. He tells me everything."
"What's going on?" Hayley asked as she walked into the room.
"Olivia is upset because Klaus won't talk to her about his problems."
"Sorry to break it to you sweetheart but you've been gone a while and he's not really one to talk about his feelings." Hayley leaned over the counter.
"Fine, I got it. I will just go about my day and if he talks to me that's fine and if he doesn't that's fine too. It's all fine." Olivia said a little passive aggressive. Hayley and Rebekah looked at eachother.
"Ok," Rebekah picked up her tea. "We will let you be." She motioned for Hayley to follow her. Olivia was left alone in the kitchen with her thoughts.
She left the house and found herself walking down the streets of New Orleans. She smiled to herself. It had been a long time since she had been here but it was still beautiful. New Orleans had a magic that no other place she had been, had managed to mirror.
"Hello." A familiar voice came from behind her. She turned around to see him.
"Hi Marcel." She smiled at the man standing in front of her. "I'm just walking around, would you like to join me?"
"I would love to." They walked together for a while looking around. "Remember last night when I told you I wanted you to meet someone?" She nodded. "Well, would you be open to meeting them now?"
"Sure." Marcel directed her into a church that looked outdated and abandoned.
"This way." Marcel walked up a staircase off to the side. Olivia's anticipation was growing. Who could possibly live here?
They walked into a room. It was a nice room, with a comfortable looking bed and art supplies scattered around, as a young girl sitting by the window, the sun lighting her face in a glow. She stood up surprised. She was beautiful. She had dark brown hair that flowed down and light blue eyes that looked like jems.
"Davina, this is Olivia. Olivia, Davina." Olivia extended her hand, Davina shook it.
"It is nice to meet you." Olivia smiled at Davina.
"Davina, would you show her what you showed me." Olivia looked at Marcel confused. Suddenly a knife stabbed Olivia in the arm and pain shot through her. She looked over and saw it. She pulled it out and threw it on the floor.
"Fuck you." Olivia was pissed. Another knife flew out of the air but this time she was expecting it and stopped it mid air. She shot it into the wall and turned to slap Marcel. "Why did you tell her to do that?"
"Wait, you're a witch?" Davina asked.
"No." Olivia slightly shouted. She stormed out of the room and down the stairs.
"Wait, Olivia." Marcel ran after her.
"You told her to kill me?" Olivia yelled.
"Yes but you stopped it."
"That's not the point."
"I didn't think you would just tell a stranger about your story and Davina needs a friend."
"So you try to kill me, so I can be friends with some random girl."
"Well it doesn't sound good when you say it like that." Olivia just grunted and walked out of the church. She walked back to the house and shut the door behind her. She screamed into her pillow. Then lay back down on her bed.
