The last hour of Ally's life had been a blur. All she remembered was driving like a maniac to the hospital Austin was at. Thankfully it was the same one where Dr. Eric worked so she had the location memorized.
She also remembered bawling her eyes out into Jimmy's chest. Jimmy had told her that Austin's doctor had said he seemed fine. They insisted on keeping Austin overnight so they could monitor him. However, if everything went well, he would be released tomorrow late morning.
Right now, Ally was waiting outside Austin's ward hoping to be let in.
A young man can out. He was wearing a white shirt, blue jeans and black shoes, the lab coat made it clear that he was a doctor.
'' Ayy yo, you Allison Moon?'' he asked, his Italian/American accent quite heavy.
'' Yes'' Ally was listening, but she was also smitten with the man's natural good looks.
'' The names Dr. Vanucci. I'm your husband's doctor. Good news is he's stable but we gotta keep him here overnight. Hospital's procedure.''
'' Huh? Oh, thanks. Can I see him?''
'' You kidding? He asked for you specifically. One of our nurses is gonna be there too. Ya know to make sure ya know how to clean and dress the wounds.''
Ally burst into the room and saw Austin lying down on his back. He was pale, his Caucasian complexion replaced with one comparable to snow.
Ally started to cry when a hand touched her face.
'' Don't cry Goose pickle, you know I hate it when you cry.''
'' Thank God you're ok!"' Ally threw herself on him, careful to avoid the IV bag and tubes.''
'' There's no need to cry. I'm fine.''
'' Judge me when I'm not 8 months pregnant and just got a call to say my husband got stabbed 'kay?''
'' You got it'' Austin chuckled.
'' Where's the kid, I swear when I find him, I'll pound his head into the ground'' Ally threatened, her teeth gritting.
'' As much as I'd love to see you beat up a minor, he's in jail.''
'' What?''
'' The security I hired are SWAT officers.''
'' And they still let a guy impale you?''
'' Hehe, yeah.''
'' You had me so worried. I thought the worst might have happened to you.''
'' C'mon, I faced Emma Ross, It'll take more than a pen to take me down.''
'' I'm just so happy you're safe.''
'' Hey there'' came a familiar voice.
'' Hey Trent'' Austin greeted.
'' Dude, You know ZOOM exists right? You could've just ZOOMed the speech. Ow!''
Trent had been punched by his partner Tilly.
''Uhm Alz, what're you doing?'' Tilly asked as she watched Ally place chairs together.
'' Making a bed. There's no way he's spending the night alone.''
'' Agreed which is why I'm staying here, and Tilly will drop him home in the morning'' Trent said.
'' But...but'' Ally stammered.
'' Ally, you're due in a few weeks, you need your rest'' Tilly said. '' Don't you trust us around your husband?'' she winked.
Ally smiled. The slightly crazy blonde could always make her feel at rest.
The nurse came in and showed Ally what to do. Being the sensible woman she was, Ally wrote the steps down on her phone. She was determined to get it right.

Tilly had brought Ally back to hers and Austin's home. She was determined to be a great friend to Ally in this time. Ally had forgiven her, but Tilly still wanted to make right. Therefore, she was going to be waiting on Ally hand and foot.
Right now the pair were sitting on Ally's bed, chatting.
'' You really didn't have to do this Tilly'' Ally said.
'' Nonsense. You need company and I'm here to deliver it. So, what do you need?''
'' Nothing really, I'm fine.''
'' You know, you can go home right. I'm 27 I don't need a babysitter.''
'' I know but I want to make sure you're ok. I'll be in the guest room if you need anything.''
'' You don't have to spend the night'' Ally called after her friend.
'' Yes I do'' Tilly called back.
That night whilst Tilly tossed and turned, Ally tried her best to make sure Tilly didn't hear her cry herself to sleep.
