"And these people volunteer for this?" Minato asked nervously as he watched me transfer the soul of a man into the body of a newly created werewolf.

I had first taken the mans cells along with the cells of a wolf, and isolated the Hashirama cells in my own body to create the new werewolves. I then monitored the growth of the new bodies.

Once again the newly forming bodies had gotten undesired tenants in the form of fresh souls.

To fix that little issue I had to kill the bodies temporarily with an injection.

The souls were evicted soundly.

Afterwards the growth of the bodies continued without any issue.

The first new body had two beautiful wolf ears on its head, silver hair peppered with black strands, a long tail, and claws for finger nails. It's teeth had grown sharp for an all meat diet, while the inside of the body was a delicate mess of human and wolf. It's senses were far more advanced than a wolf's thanks to that.

It was capable of walking on all fours easily, however it could switch to being bipedal if necessary.

The new body was also a toddler.

"The ones who refused are still happily homeless in the villages nearby." I said with a small lift of my shoulder as I finished up the transfer. "Utakata? Could you assist me in disposing of this?"

"Of course Orochimaru-sama." Utakata bowed obediently. I left the deed to him and turned to watch the toddler.

I pulled out a fresh notebook and waited patiently for the werewolf toddler to wake. It took a few tense minutes, but soon the toddler was stirring.

I beckoned Minato over.

Minato nodded and grabbed the steak from the table that had been carefully cut into bite sized pieces and handed it to me before watching the toddler as he slowly sat up and tested his new limbs.

"Akio-kun, any discomfort?"

The toddler gently shook his head. I then handed him the meat and watched as he gobbled it up neatly.

"Excellent." I put my notebook away after jotting down the experiment success then carefully grabbed the toddler from his armpits and placed him on the floor. The toddler looked up at the unfinished meat with sad amber eyes, then took a few unsteady steps towards it before plopping on his ass unceremoniously.

"He's adorable." Minato gushed happily as he quickly went to help the toddler stand.

"Don't patronize me.." the fifty year old turned toddler spat out as he took Minato's hand.

"Hai hai!" Minato grinned as he helped Akio walk around. Akio made a face at Minato, which looked suspiciously like a pout, but allowed Minato to help him walk until he managed to figure it out. He'd get the meat sooner or later.

I wrote a few more things in my notebook then moved on to the next soul transfer. This one was a female that went by the name of Daiki. She had actually made requests on the colours of her coat.

I suppose I had no problems having a purple haired wolf, but I made sure it was a deep violet. Bright colours were just..no.

Once the next transfer was done, I left the pups to Yugito Nii to watch until they were old enough to look out for themselves. She didn't complain much.

"Will you be making the slug people now Orochimaru-sama?" Utakata asked as he peered at me from his hammock. He had happily set it up there from my first day of starting experiments.

"I'll be leaving that project to Mina-kun here." I said with a wave of my hand.

"Eh?" Minato blinked. "Slug people? Like.. humans with slug parts..??"

"Yess, you can start by studying the slugs over there." I said as I gestured to the animal tanks near the work area.

Minato glanced at me with a pout and went to check out the slugs sluggishly.

~

Finding someone to volunteer to become part slug was refused vehemently. So Minato had to make the new species from scratch and let a fresh soul inhabit the new creatures.

He made fifteen.

They weren't as hideous as I had imagined they'd be. Just slimy, slow, green skinned humans with antennas.

Utakata had taken the new creatures to the forest to do whatever he wanted with them. He said something about teaching them slug senjutsu. Saikens idea.

Minato created five more eagle bears, then went home and returned the next day with Naruto.

I was appalled to hear he had left the boy in charge of the village. Minato was usually good with making decisions. Except for that one time he used his wife's soul to revive me. Or perhaps the other time he wanted to try role play and over did it on calling me sensei.

"Orochi-ji!!!" Naruto practically screeched as he zoomed towards me and shot himself at my waist. I caught the brat and sighed as I ran my fingers through his mess of hair.

The shade of his bright yellow locks had lightened to a gentle blonde.

Stress most likely. Poor child.

"Naru, how was your reign?" I asked worriedly as I bent to plant a small kiss on his head. I imagined I was getting better with this whole social interaction thing.

"It was awful! I never wanna be Hokage again!!" Naruto bawled.

"You made such a good Hokage though from the reports I received." Minato grinned as he pulled out a sheet of paper. "Says here you revamped the entire education system and added two more civilian schools for the growing population. You expanded the forest of death, and hired new workers for the missions office with a new screening method using the Yamanaka. You expanded the police force to bring in people from other clans, and soothed the Uchiha's ire by making Sasuke your advisor." Minato then began to list off more changes Naruto had made while I listened intently. Once he was done I looked down at the nearly white haired Naruto and smiled proudly.

"You want to help me run my new village?" I asked the boy sweetly. Naruto immediately started shaking his head.

"I can't! I don't think I could be a Kage ever again!! Unless you pay me ten thousand ryo a day, with unlimited ramen?" Naruto asked nervously. "I also gotta get Sasuke, and Sakura.. and bring Obito-sensei I guess."

"That's fine." I chuckled lightly. It wouldn't be too hard to bring Naruto's favourite ramen cook here. With promises of more ryo and power. That always gets me volunteers after all.

I pondered about the two Uchiha and looked down at Naruto thoughtfully. "Did you ever discover why the Uchiha were so hateful of me?"

Minato coughed. "Actually.. that had something to do with Obito-kun."

"Hmm?" I hummed thoughtfully. "What has he done?"

Minato scratched his cheek. "I..well, he once thought that you hated him, and had told me about it while Sasuke was listening in. Since he was Sasuke's guardian after the massacre happened. He made you out to be an incredibly creepy man."

"How juvenile." I sighed. This was exactly how rumours spread.

Little Sasuke must have protectively hated me for his precious Uncle, and spread that hate to everyone I revived. Which would explain why none of them had ever been grateful. Sasuke did have quite the sharp mouth for an Uchiha.

I had no doubt he could make a good deed sound despicable with the way that boy spoke. It's a wonder how a dark boy like that became good friends with my little angel Naruto.

"Are you guys dissecting corpses again Orochi-ji? Can I help?"

"You can help, but I'm not dissecting anything at this time. I'm creating a new species of humans."

Naruto scrunched his face and tilted his head, his eyes slightly dazed for a second before he refocused on me with a confused expression. I had watched the odd reaction with a raised eyebrow.

"Kuruma says he wants fox people. They have to be red like blood, and scary and they have to treat him like a god." Naruto blinked. "Sounds cool, can you do that Orochi-ji?"

"Kurama?" Minato blinked. "You've been talking to the fox?"

Naruto turned to his dad and blushed. "Eheh, well I was curious so I checked out the seal. We're friends now!"

Just then he winced as the fox's chakra inside him pulsed dangerously. He blinked a couples times then looked at me through red slitted eyes.

"Interesting, perhaps you can lend some of your chakra to me to create your fox people?" I inquired as I leaned down to Naruto's eye level.

Naruto blinked and looked up thoughtfully before he smiled shyly at me.

"He says we have to hold hands." He bubbled.

"...Very well. Though your reaction is quite worrying." I frowned thoughtfully. Naruto shrugged and eagerly held his hand out to me with a happy blush on his cheeks.

I took Naruto's hand and watched with fascination as red chakra seemed to boil up out of Naruto's hands and seep into my skin. It was relatively painless, with the mild discomfort of having too much chakra in my system. I hissed as it moved faster and stretched out my chakra coils. I furrowed my brows when the chakra transfer was done. That sudden burst of pain had really caught me off guard.

Though it appears my chakra pool had increased by twenty percent. Which was quite the improvement for me. I hadn't been too focused on increasing my chakra pool in the last decade since the new body I got naturally had four times the chakra than my previous body.

"Intriguing." I grinned as I lifted my hands curiously. The power felt quite exhilarating.

I quickly turned on my heel and went to work on the fox people, ideas already bouncing in my head.

~

Naruto had given the hat to Sakumo and resigned after six months, leaving behind new unchangeable laws and a forever changed Konoha.

There was an uproar, and protests to his retirement. People were complaining that he was too young to retire, he still had fifty more years to go, that he was the best Kage they ever had.

Sakumo proceeded to have a hard time getting accepted as the new Hokage for the next three years.

Currently, Naruto, Sasuke and I were having a small meeting in the throne room.

"Your new village needs a name." Naruto said calmly as he sat on the throne and looked down at me.

Considering I'd basically handed the boy full reign to my kingdom, it was a given that he'd choose the throne room as his new office. Sasuke was by his side with a clipboard and a blank face.

He had been an incredibly difficult child to get along with. It didn't matter what I said to him, the boy clung to hate like a monkey clung to shit.

The boys had grown considerably though, in the last three years as they ruled over my kingdom. Naruto had grown out his now white hair down to his shoulder blades, his now pale skin practically glistened with youth. He'd grown to be quite tall thanks to the nutritionist brought into the kitchens. However the stress of the job, and the fact that he hardly ever went outside had combined to give him his current look.

Sasuke had also grown to be fairly tall. His raven hair was tied in a low spiky tail that went to the nape of his neck.

Both were wearing clothes made by the village tailors, who happened to be spider people.

Or what Minato likes to call the 'Finger webbie long legged sewing agents'.

It was a mistake to leave him in charge of naming the new races. Partially.

Let me elaborate.

He named my beautiful tribe of fairies 'The pretty flutter people of eternal youth'.

My werewolves were called 'fluffy puppies', and he named my mermaids 'underwater fish breathing fin children'.

My eagle bears used to be called 'chubby black furry feathered flying, super bears'. However, Fu had firmly fought against it by constantly throwing her strange bug dust in his face every chance she got.

They were now called 'Kira-chans'.

The eagle bears had grown to be quite fierce, and were now the basic pets of the village. Almost everyone had one, since Fu had bred and sold them to people who couldn't fly.

"Your parents suggested naming the village 'Sound', but it doesn't seem to fit into the theme you got going with the different species of people here. Dad wants the village to be named 'The village hidden behind the misfits that can do cool stuff' but it's been denied." Naruto sighed. "Got any ideas?"

"Shinigami Kings Palace?" I shrugged half heartedly. I didn't particularly care what he named my village. I'd been having fun getting the different tribes to worship the tailed beasts as gods at their respective shrines.

"Should we save that for last?" Naruto smiled wryly at me.

"That would be best." I hummed distractedly.

Naruto nodded and looked to Sasuke. "We still need to address the issue of the new experiment volunteers brought in from Kumo. All of them have chosen the tribes they desire to join and would like to be inducted as soon as possible." Sasuke frowned as he looked down at the clipboard. "The schools need more teachers, and the people are complaining that there's no manga in the village. Your novels have been bringing in a lot of revenue but they want you to start a manga series for your yaoi books."

"I suppose I could get started on the new batch of volunteers. I've just been busy fleshing out the rituals for the tailed beasts." I murmured.

Sasuke whipped a paper at me that I quickly caught and began looking through. There were demands for becoming fairies by most, while many desired to become shape shifters and slug people. Oddly enough the slug people ended up becoming the strongest tribe in the village. They were also surprisingly beautiful when they weren't excreting their slime. They were also the richest tribe since they had begun selling their slime as skin lotion.

It was a miracle cream that cleared the skin and got rid of wrinkles. Minato had loved it.

He started getting crows feet last year.

There were requests for the other tribes as well, but those were the top three. It helped that the shapeshifters were so unique in looks, and intelligence. Their minds had been expanded and their bodies lengthened so they were quite the odd looking creatures. Similar to avatars from the movies in my old world. They were twice the height of humans, with blue pigmented skin and stripes, with long pointed ears and beautiful tails with black fur on the tips. Their power depended on how many tails they had.

The shapeshifters could only shift into five different animals at the most so far, with each tail representing an animal they had studied to shift into.

It was a difficult tribe to integrate into, and took a lot of training once you became one but the strength of the tribe couldn't be ignored. Because of the abundance of Hashirama cells in their bodies they could all use the wood style as well, so they built their homes at the top of sixty foot trees.

The fairy people were a commonly chosen tribe simply because they were the prettiest. Something about the symmetry of the bugs mixed with humans. Their bodies were flawless, and beautiful if you didn't know that their skin was basically their bones. The exoskeleton of the fairy tribe was quite beautiful to look at though.

"Perhaps we can put out a notice for positions for teaching. I suggest getting the wolf tribe as teachers, their pack mentality could be advantageous to pass on to the next generation. Plus I do enjoy making Akio-kun suffer"

"Akio's a child, sensei." Naruto scolded lightly.

I winced. "Naru, please don't call me Sensei anymore. I'm afraid your father sullied that title."

Sasuke made a face of disgust while Naruto looked confused.

"Noted." Naruto shrugged. "Anyway, Kurama also suggests his fox tribe to be teachers. To promote his race to children that haven't chosen their tribes yet."

"Deadly." I agreed with a short nod.

"Excuse me?" Sasuke asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Nothing." I blushed. It was a good thing my grey skin made it practically invisible. 'No more using slang from my first life.'

"It's a good idea. The fox people would do anything for the nine tails after all. Has Kuruma been the one giving you advice on how to run Konoha? Kage-sama"

"Call me King" Naruto corrected smugly. "And is it that obvious? He's been showing me what to do for years..."

"Idiot." Sasuke grumbled fondly.

I watched their little flirtatious banter for a few seconds as I thought about what to do with the manga requests. It's odd that the people were going through the leader of the village for manga. Usually I got these requests through my publisher.

"Is Sai busy?" I interrupted. Sasuke flared, considering I interrupted him mid sentence. Uchiha's hated being interrupted.

He looked through his paper to see where they had placed the artist volunteer they had gotten from Konoha.

The boy had taken the octopus route, for the ink of course.

"He's currently training the mermaids." Sasuke bit.

"Is there no one else left to train them?"

"Well the mermaids are all children, and the kid is very good with them. However, we could get Yagura to take over for a while. The children would love to have their god in their presence for a while." Naruto grinned. "It'll be funny to have Sai in charge of making the yaoi manga. That guy had hilariously overdone reactions."

"My thoughts exactly." I chuckled.

"Alright, that's the first part of the agenda finished. The next part has to do with the Akatsuki trying to enter the village to abduct our jinchuuriki." Sasuke scowled.

"Did they really come to the gates and ask to come in to take the jinchuuriki?" Naruto said with disbelieving frown.

"They're polite for a group bent on world domination." I muttered sourly.

"Why do you say it like it's a bad thing. Aren't we trying to rule the world too?" Naruto blinked.

"That's different." I scoffed.

"It's really not." Sasuke said blandly.

I sighed as I thought about what to do about the Akatsuki before deciding this was better dealt with in person. "I'll go and meet with them to see what they want. Perhaps I can bring Minato and either destroy them or talk them out of their strange world domination plan."

"Cool. Can I come?" Naruto grinned, his childishness showing at the prospect of adventuring and kicking ass. The boy had mastered Snake sage mode years ago, as well as his bijuu chakra. He could even combine the two to stack the power up to god level.

How the kid had surpassed me within two years I don't know. Some people just didn't have limits on the level of power they could obtain.

I wasn't suitable for sage chakra unfortunately, due to being on bad terms with the shinigami. That pesky god had spoken to the snake boss and told her I wasn't allowed to become a sage. Apparently discovering a method of immortality with my revival seal had put me on bad terms with most, if not all the summon bosses in the world. If I wanted sage mode I'd have to create a way to get it myself.

Not that it's any excuse not to improve, I was just busy doing other things. I'll make my own sage mode later...probably.

"Who will you leave in charge if I take you with me?" I questioned with a tilt of my head.

Naruto pursed his lips as he tried to think about the people who were available for the temporary King position. "Yagura is already being tasked to look after the mermaids..Killer B isn't really doing anything."

"No." Sasuke refused. "I am not translating his rap for everyone again."

"Again?" I inquired with amused curiosity.

"Oh, I sent him on a mission with Killer B to get the volunteers from Kumo last month." Naruto snickered. "He's really good at deciphering Killer B's rapping."

"It's annoying." Sasuke grumbled sourly.

"So we'll leave Killer B as king until we return from eradicating the Akatsuki." I said with a nod.

Sasuke turned his head towards me and glared furiously.

"Great!" Naruto agreed happily.

Sasuke wrote down the new suggestion with a growl. "See if you come back to all your underwear washed in hot sauce." He spat venomously to Naruto.

Naruto paled. "Please don't."

"I'll leave you two to your flirting." I said as I took a step towards the door. "You can just get Minato to name the village."

"Don't you dare leave this village's name in the hands of a moron!!" Sasuke barked out.

Ah, but I was already gone.

I secretly enjoyed Minato's naming sense after all. Especially since it pissed off the high strung ball of negativity.

Miserable brat.
