Author's Note:
So, originally this was supposed to come out a lot sooner and then it would've been a race against time for me to put out a Halloween episode before October 31st. Clearly that's not going to happen now. It's hard to concentrate on all the writing projects I've got, plus school. Oh well.
BUT ANYWAY, it's time for the next Aftermath. Essentially there will be an Aftermath every five eliminated characters, so expect the next one after five more characters go home, no matter how many episodes that may be. But before we get to that, time for the usual review answers.
Fantasy Lord 77: The identity of the person that attacked Kaia in the alley will be part of a major plot point coming up. Trust me, it's going to be shocking to see who it is and why.
Tempokeep: Yep, kind of hard for a water based contestant to go really far on a land locked season. But be proud that her elimination was one that a lot of others didn't see coming.
xxPrincxssxx: Sometimes it's the simple challenges that people really seem to love is what I've been learning throughout my fanfiction writing experience.
Candela Monsoon: The rivalry between Charlie and Hunter will come to a head eventually...and only one of them will come out on top.
Squirtysong: I can officially confirm that the secret that Maeve is hiding has nothing to do with the color of her eyes. And as for the painting challenge, I think I loosely based it off of the game Splatoon, but obviously took my own creative liberties with it.
AnnoyingAlarmClock: It was pretty much down to either Hunter or Rita being the main villain of this season actually. Hunter is a secondary antagonist I guess.

Now, on to the drama!
EPISODE ELEVEN: AFTERMATH II: TARA INFINITY AND BEYOND
A red carpet was rolled out. Three letters—a T, a D, and a C—unfolded from the carpet. As they came into focus, the word "Aftermath" appeared in a flash of light underneath the letters. Clips began to play then of highlights from the previous few episodes.
The ground over the center mass of snakes collapsed as Yves punched her way into the tunnels. Every single snake head retracted from the various holes in the ground and turned to face her, all hissing at once.
"Or we can just improvise," Alex corrected. "That works too."
"Stand firm, my lady," Lance said, grabbing his own stick and twirling it. "Let us join the battle." He ran out with a fierce battle cry.
"I really hate him," Alex muttered under her breath before following.
"Well, no one cares what you think," Desmond said. "So just do your job so we can win today."
"Guys," Clover tried again, taking a step toward them. "We don't—"
The ground under her sprung up, launching her into the sky screaming.
Sonya twisted the dials on her guitar. "Plug your ears, music lovers, 'cause it's gonna get loud."
She strummed a chord that caused the whole building to rumble. The glass case surrounding the diamond shattered, along with every other piece of glass in the building.
Rita pressed a button on her watch. As Yves was swimming towards the ball, a jet of water ignited under her, sending her flying into the air and back into the Pandas' side of the pool.
"Woah? What was—" Moira started to say before she too was launched into the sky by a jet of water.
"Someone has to stand guard," Nicole replied, "We don't want to be taken by surprise."
As she spoke, several paintballs flew through the air, nearly hitting Logan and hitting the wall behind him.
Nicole instantly raised her paintball gun and pointed it at the attacker, who happened to be Erin. Before she could react, Nicole unloaded dozens of paintballs, splattering her with paint.
"Ow…" she groaned before collapsing.
*Intro*
(As the intro music begins to play, cameras are seen popping out of a skyscraper window, a manhole, a streetlamp, and a trashcan. The clapper claps.)
Dear Mom and Dad, I'm doing fine
(Chris is seen driving by in a sports car as the camera goes down a runway)
You guys are on my mind
(the camera pans into a building and off a diving board into an indoor swimming pool)
You asked me what I wanted to be, now I think the answer's plain to see
(In the water, Sarah is swimming gracefully as spikes are shooting past her. The camera pans to the surface, where Jared is sitting in a rubber raft with Maeve. The spikes puncture the raft and the two begin to sink. The camera quickly moves outside, where Otis and Tara are working on a generator together.)
I wanna be famous
(The camera pans over to the side, where Todd and Rita are working on an experiment. Todd pours a liquid into a beaker, which explodes and coats both him and Rita in ash, while Yves watches disapprovingly from a shadowy room in a nearby building)
I wanna live close to the sun
(Harmony is seen in a park meditating, unaware of Zander performing a magic trick right in front of her, though his trick is interrupted when a raccoon jumps out of his magic had and latches onto his face)
Well pack your bags cause I've already won
(Charlie and Lana are side by side practicing the same ninja fighting moves as William and Nicole kiss next to them)
Everything to prove nothing in my way
(Malik is running at top speed away from a flamethrower wielding Deedee. As he is running, he is caught in a trap that yanks him up to the top of a small building, where Hunter is waiting with a knife. Kaia stands disapprovingly behind him)
I'll get there one day
(The scene pans into a kitchen, where Logan is photographing a pot of mysterious food. Clover appears behind him, shocking him, but Chef then appears behind Clover and chases the two out of the kitchen)
Cause I wanna be famous
(At a table just outside the kitchen, Theresa is focused on her writing while Tim is next to her typing on a laptop. A spotlight drops on the table, causing both to jump in surprise)
Nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah
(In an alley, Hannah battles back against Sara, who is trying to pummel here with fists covered with boxing gloves)
I wanna be. I wanna be. I wanna be famous.
(On a street, Desmond and Moira are both in go karts, trying to knock each other off the road. Alex skates in between them both while Lance tries to catch up to her on a motorcycle)
I wanna be. I wanna be. I wanna be famous.
(The scene pans to a stage, where Sonya is playing her electric guitar and singing along to the lyrics into a microphone. The scene pans back to show it was on a monitor)
*whistling the main theme*
(The scene pans down, where Nigel is seen showing a clearly impressed Erin a collection of watches under his jacket. The scene zooms out to show the rest of the cast, with Chris off to the side. Sonya plays the last guitar rift of the theme song on her electric guitar)
The Aftermath logo intro played again before the scene switched to a fancy looking studio. There were three couches; one of the left, right, and center of the stage. The couch at stage left held the previous contestants from Total Drama Danger Zones and the eliminated contestants from Total Drama City. On the couch in the center sat Marvin and Amber. The couch on stage right was empty. There was the sound of applauding.
"Hey, hey, everybody!" Marvin exclaimed. "Welcome to Total Drama Aftermath, the show where we interview the recently eliminated contestants from Total Drama City and try to make them reveal their deepest, darkest secrets to the viewing world."
"And our ratings couldn't be better," Amber added. "Our Aftermath show last time was viewed by the highest viewing audience ever for an Aftermath show."
"I'll believe that when I see it!" Kyle called from the side.
Amber and Marvin exchanged a look. "Anyway," Marvin said. "Tonight, we have another big episode for you. You'll be hearing from Harmony, Tara, Theresa, Yves, and Sarah all throughout the evening."
The audience cheered.
"Yeah, the crowd loves it," Amber said with a smile.
"Again, the only thing that's cheering is just the sound guy," Kyle noted.
Marvin ignored him. "Let's get started with Harmony!" Clips of Harmony began playing on the monitor behind him. "Harmony began this season as being the chilliest contestant in Total Drama history."
"But also the contestant that was more or less useless to her team," Amber added. "I mean seriously, I'm surprised that she lasted as long as she did."
"But, in the end, it was her inactivity in challenges to focus more on the world around her that eventually caused her elimination," Marvin finished. "So, please welcome…Harmony!"
The spotlights shone down at the side of the stage as the audience clapped. But Harmony did not appear.
Amber and Marvin exchanged looks. "Uh…Harmony? That's your cue!" Marvin called.
Harmony still didn't appear.
"Harmony!"
Backstage, Harmony was meditating, with the other four recently eliminated contestants watching her.
"Should we, you know, let her know that it's her turn?" Sarah asked.
"She looks asleep," Theresa noted.
"Oh, for crying out loud," Yves said, standing up and shaking Harmony's shoulder.
The girl opened her eyes. "Hmm?"
"You're on," Yves told her.
"Oh. Okay." Harmony stood up and finally walked onto the stage, sitting on the couch.
"So, Harmony, how would you describe your time on the show?" Amber asked.
"Groovy," Harmony replied simply.
Marvin and Amber exchanged a look.
"Uh, could you give us a few more details?" Marvin asked.
"Totally groovy."
"Th—that's it?" Amber questioned. "How do you feel about getting voted off so soon?"
Harmony shrugged, examining her fingernails. "Oh well."
Marvin was starting to get annoyed. "Come on!" he complained. "Don't you want to get revenge on your team for voting you off?"
"No."
Marvin took several deep breaths to try to calm himself down.
"You seem stressed," Harmony noted. "Maybe I can help you through some guided meditation."
"Okay, thank you Harmony," Amber said, trying to calm the situation down and holding Marvin back as he tried to lunge for her. "Let's move on to our next guest: Tara!"
Clips from Tara's time on the show began to play. "From the beginning, Tara proved that she was resourceful as anyone on the show," Amber began. "And her strength definitely helped her team out."
"Probably from all those cars she lifted back at her dad's garage," Marvin added.
"But that strength also made her a target for Rita, who is quickly becoming this season's most notorious villain," Amber continued. "And because of that, Tara quickly found herself on the chopping block. So, put your hands together for Tara!"
Tara came out onto the stage before taking a seat on the couch next to a cross legged Harmony.
"Tara, how would you describe your experience on the show?" Marvin asked.
"For the most part, decent enough," Tara replied. "But it still stings that I got voted off so early. Not to mention that snake Rita is still on the show. I can't believe I'm saying this, but I'm actually rooting for Kaia to expose her."
"Really? You're rooting for Kaia?" Kyle called from where he sat with the others. "I think you're lying."
Marvin and Amber looked at each other. "Well, I guess this is a good time to introduce today's truth finding tool, Truth or Water Bucket!" Amber announced.
"Truth or Water Bucket?" Tara repeated. She looked up to see a large collection of water buckets in the rafters, ready to be dumped.
"Yeah, Chris wanted us to make it Truth or Lava Bucket, but our way has a less of a chance of death or permanent burns," Marvin added.
"But, since no buckets fell, then Tara must have been telling the truth about Kaia," Amber said. "Care to elaborate on that, Tara?"
"Simple. Kaia may be doing this due to her own need to dominate the game, but she still wants Rita taken down as much as the rest of us," Tara explained. "That makes her okay in my book. At least for now."
No buckets came down.
"Okay, next question," Amber said, "In your audition video, you said you worked in your dad's garage. Do you think those skills you learned there helped you on your time on the show?"
"I'd say so. Thanks to working under the hood of a car, I got super strong," Tara said. "Check it out." She got up, grabbed the bottom of the couch, and lifted the entire thing, with Harmony still on it, up.
"Woah! Give her a hand, folks!" Marvin yelled as applause broke out.
"So, do you think Otis is stronger than you?" Amber asked.
"No," Tara replied. Which caused a bucket of water to drop down onto the couch. Tara stumbled and fell, taking the couch with her.
"Well, I guess that answers that question," Marvin commented. "We're going to take a break now, but when we come back, you'll hear thoughts from both Theresa and Yves on their eliminations."
"And stay tuned, because after that will be Sarah, the surprise fan favorite whose elimination no one saw coming," Amber added.
The audience applauded as the Aftermath Logo flashed by.
The Aftermath logo flashed by as the audience applauded and the scene returned to the studio, where Harmony and Tara were now seated with the rest of the eliminated contestants.
"Welcome back to the Aftermath," Marvin said. "Now, before we get to Theresa, it's time for everyone's favorite segment on Aftermath shows, "That's Gonna Leave a Mark!"
The monitor above the couch turned to static before playing a montage of clips.
-Alex bashing Lance with her club
-Clover is launched by a springboard
-Erin is pelted by paintballs
-Nigel is whacked by a flying piece of trash
-A jet of water launched Yves out of the water
-Fang is run over by Chef's Jeep
-Logan falls off a ladder
-Deedee drives by on a flaming motorcycle
-The door to the bank crushes the Pandas
-Sonya getting hit with a boxing glove.
-Kaia is knocked out by a shadowy figure in an alley.
-Yves punches the snake monster
-Alex, Clover, and Deedee walk away from an exploding building in slow motion. As they do, they are crushed by a falling blimp
"Wow," Amber said as the scene cut back to the studio. "I can't believe that the cast is still alive."
"I can't believe that last shot didn't make it into an episode," Colt commented from the side.
Marvin coughed. "Anyway, let's move on to our next guest, Theresa!" Scenes began playing of Theresa's time on the show. "Theresa started off this season…pretty much like she did last season. Staying out of the spotlight and stepping in when needed."
"But, this time around, she fell in the season's second double elimination ceremony," Amber added. "And this time with Kaia manipulating the situation."
"And now, here she is, everyone's favorite up and coming author, Theresa!" The audience applauded as Theresa walked out.
"So, Theresa, tell me how it feels to go from surviving past the merge to being the second returning contestant voted out?" Marvin asked.
Theresa shrugged. "Honestly, it doesn't bother me that much. I mean, winning the million would've been nice, but it's no big deal."
"Do you think that you gained any more skills from your time on the show?" Amber asked.
"One or two. I learned never to appear to be the weakest on the team, or you'll get voted out."
"Theresa, a lot of fans have been writing in about your relationship with a certain paranoid detective," Marvin told her. "Can you give us any details?"
Theresa blushed. "Sorry, but that's private."
"Aha! So there is something going on between you two."
Amber whacked his arm. "Marvin! We promised not to pry."
"Alright, alright," Marvin said. "Just one more question." He focused back on Theresa. "You've seen Clover trying to get close to Logan. Are you jealous at all?"
Theresa snorted. "Why would I be jealous? He's clearly not interested in her, so I have nothing to worry about."
A bucket of water tipped over and landed on her head, splashing her with ice old water.
"Oh, come on!" she complained.
"Looks like Theresa is worried that Logan will fall for a super spy rather than a super writer," Marvin noted.
"I am not!" That earned her another bucket of water dropped on her, along with an audience laugh track.
"Okay, while Theresa dries off and revaluates the prospect of being single, let's talk about our next guess, Yves," Marvin announced.
Clips of Yves's time on the show began playing on the monitor. "When Yves began on this show, she wasted no time in establishing dominance on her team," Amber said.
"And she proved that she was a force to be reckoned with by taking charge and winning challenges for her team," Marvin added.
"But this dominance also made her a target, and Rita soon set her sights on her, once again manipulating the situation to turn the team against her. That, combined with her, shall we say, bossy personality, sent her packing," Amber concluded. "So, please welcome our next guest, Yves!"
The audience applauded as Yves walked out, taking her seat on the couch.
"So, Yves, I suppose being here so soon is a shock," Marvin began.
"I'll say," Yves grumbled. "I can't believe I didn't figure Rita out."
"She's a crafty one," Amber agreed.
"She'll go down just like all other villains," Lana commented from the other couch.
"But besides that, what would you say the hardest thing about losing this early is?" Marvin asked
"The fact that I don't get a chance to beat up Rita for her treachery." At this, a bucket of water dropped on her head.
"Hey!" she complained.
"Looks like that wasn't entirely the truth," Amber commented.
"Maybe it's because she left out her troubled family life," Marvin guessed.
Yves froze. "Don't make me talk about that," she said.
"Sorry, Yves, but this is Aftermath, where everything gets brought out into the spotlight," Marvin replied. "So, why don't you tell us about the mess of an adoptive family you have."
Yves glared at him, but answered, "Well, in my family, I have twelve brothers and sisters. We're all really close, but my parents never really had time to care for us. We had to come together ourselves, learn how to work together as a family."
"And what's this I hear about you and your siblings shadow dancing to gain recognition?" Amber asked. "Seriously cool stuff there."
"Well, we just saw it on TV and thought it looked cool," Yves explained. "We've gone on to compete in many different competitions."
"But that didn't stop your older brother from deciding that it wasn't enough, did it?" Marvin challenged.
Yves's face hardened. "He made a few mistakes and ended up in jail because of them. And now because of that, our parents are thinking about sending us back to orphanages."
The audience went "Awwwwwww."
"Doing well here was supposed to help change their minds," Yves admitted. "But now that I've been eliminated…I don't know what I'm going to do now."
"Wow…thanks for sharing, Yves," Amber said. "We'll all pray for you here."
"We're going to take a quick break while we recover from these revelations," Marvin announced. "But when we come back, we'll hear from Sarah, who's elimination shocked the Total Drama community."
The audiences applauded as the Aftermath logo flashed by.
A new title flashed upon the screen, with words reading "On the Road, with Quincy" and a picture of a smiling Quincy. An announcer announced, "And now it's time for "On the Road with Quincy", the part of the show where Quincy travels around the world to ask others how they're feeling about the new season of Total Drama."
The scene switched to Quincy, who was standing in the middle of a snowy tundra and wearing a thick parka. "I'm here somewhere in Antarctica, interviewing several people that apparently live down here about what's been going on in this latest season of Total Drama." He then turned around. "Now…I just need to find them."
He began trudging through the snow and soon saw several dark shapes in the distance.
"Aha! That must be them!" he exclaimed, pulling out his microphone. "Excuse me! Can I ask you a few questions about the latest season of Total Drama?"
The shapes turned around and emerged from the blowing snow, revealing themselves to be penguins.
"Oh…you're just penguins," Quincy said, disappointed. "Where the heck are the people?!"
Seemed to be insulted by his yelling, the penguins all narrowed their eyes menacingly.
"Oh, ah ha, not to say that penguins aren't good," Quincy told them, starting to back away nervously. Until he backed into a large, hairy leg. He looked up and gasped.
"The Abominable Snowman?" he asked in shock, snapping a quick picture. "Wait…aren't you supposed to be in the Himalayas?"
The creature roared loudly, shaking the ground. Quincy gulped and ran, only to begin getting tackled by the penguins.
"Ow! Ow! Why meeeeeeee!" he complained.
The title card was quickly thrown back up. "This has been "On the Road, with Quincy," the announcer said. "Tune in next time to learn why the Abominable Snowman was hanging out in Antarctica."
The Aftermath logo appeared as the audience applauded and the scene returned to the studio.
"Welcome back to Total Drama Aftermath," Marvin said. "And now, let's talk about our final guest for the night: Sarah!"
Clips began playing of Sarah's time on the show. "Sarah at first didn't seem like a strong player," Amber began. "I mean, most of her skills were centered around water, and there aren't very many of those challenges out there."
"But in those water challenges, Sarah proved valuable for her team," Marvin continued. "She may have gotten far, but unfortunately, Hunter had other plans, manipulating her into an alliance to try to target a certain ninja, and then turning on her in the end."
"Now, please welcome to the stage…Sarah!" The audience applauded as Sarah walked out, sitting down on the couch.
"Sarah, I have to admit, your elimination took me by surprise," Marvin admitted to her.
"Yeah, I wasn't really expecting it either," Sarah agreed.
"And neither did the viewing world," Amber added as surprised messages from fans began popping up on the monitor. "The message boards have been flooded with messages from fans venting their shock that you were voted out. Tell me, did you ever think you would be such a fan favorite?"
"Never," Sarah told them. "I thought that I'd just play, do my best, and get as far as I could. Never in a million years did I think that I'd be this popular even when placing so low."
"Well, you've also been getting a lot of care packages from all your fans wishing you well," Marvin told her. "Let's bring them out now."
"Awww, thanks—" Sarah started to say, but then a large number of letters and boxes dropped on her from the ceiling.
"Anyway, one final question for you, Sarah," Amber said as she dug herself out from all her mail. "Hunter. What would you say to him if he were here right now?"
"I'd just laugh at him," Sarah said. "Because if he were here, that means that my team voted him off. And that's a victory I can live with."
The audience applauded that statement.
"Well, we're just about out of time," Amber said. "But before we go, a few final questions to our fellow cast mates here. Lana…is the leg doing any better."
Lana proudly lifted her leg up. "All healed."
"Excellent. Yves, who do you think is going home next?" Marvin asked.
"I hope it's Rita, but otherwise, I'm thinking Erin," Yves guessed. "Honestly, I'm surprised she hasn't been voted out yet."
"No way," Kyle argued. "If anyone's going home next, it's gotta be Maeve."
"Last question goes to Theresa," Amber said. "Are you sure that you're not jealous of Clover trying to get close to Logan?"
"Yes, I'm sure!" Another bucket of water dropped onto Theresa. The audience laughed.
"Well, that's all the time we have for today," Amber said. "Tune in next time for more interviews, more laughs, and more drama!" The audience applauded as the scene faded to black.
Bonus Clip:
As Yves was walking back to the room she was staying in at the Aftermath studio, a voice asked her, "How much money will it take to bail your brother out?"
"What?" Yves turned around as Lana appeared behind her.
"How much money?" Lana repeated.
"I—" Yves was interrupted as Lana gave her an envelope full of money.
"This should be enough," she told her.
"But…this is your money from winning last season," Yves said. "I can't accept this."
"Sure you can," Lana said. "It's not all my winnings. But it sounds like you and your siblings are close despite all being adopted. At least have a better family life than I do."
Yves reluctantly took the money from her. "I—thank you," she said.
Lana shrugged. "Don't mention it." And with that, she was gone.
And there you have it. Another Aftermath down with more details about the eliminated cast members shown. Originally I was going to have the title of this episode include Yves's name, but I couldn't think of any catchy phrase that I could throw her name in and the phrase would still sound the same. So I went with Tara instead.
I was very happy to reveal these details about Yves, by the way. It all came from Candela Monsoon's application for her, which was the longest application I received because of how much detail into her backstory he put in. Let's hope things get better for Yves and her family despite her not doing all that well on Total Drama.
I also channeled all of your surprise that Sarah was sent home last time here. Seriously, 4/6 reviewers were shocked that she was gone and didn't think she deserved to go. So, thanks guys! Your surprise about this elimination helped out a ton with this Aftermath.
Anywho, that's all from me. Don't forget to hit that favorite/follow button to stay informed about future updates, and also drop a review if you can, they really help me know how good of a job I'm doing. Until next time, this is Guest 1138, reminding you that when in a horror movie, NEVER hide in the basement. Ciao!
