"Wakey, wakey little miss priss!" Randy yelled out causing Shadow to wake up in extreme discomfort. "Sorry ta intrude on your beauty sleep, that ain't doing shit, but in just a few hours ya gotta get married ta my sister, so I thought I should hold the shotgun to yer head…. If only it were a real shotgun." Randy sighed pitifully as he smiled down on Shadow completely hungover. "How can a man get so drunk being miserable?" Randy quested at Shadow as he tried to sit up.

"You of all people know full well!" Shadow yelled back as he held his head in discomfort from the sound of his own voice.

"Well, yer in luck!" Randy smiled as he sat down a bottled beverage with a canteen of coffee. "This here combo has saved my worthless skin many oh times! Here ya got yer vitamin water, and other here ya got yer coffee. Reboot on hydration, and vitamin deprivation fallowed up with the fruit of the Gods caffeine!" Randy pushed them closer to Shadow and took a seat at the end table in one of the trailers his parents had on their property.

"Thank you." Shadow mumbled as he took many turns drinking from both liquids.

"Oh no need ta thank me. I'm doing this fer Sandy. I mean sure yer an ok guy once one can getting over you being… well…. You." Randy grinned as he stood up and threw Shadow's hung tux at him, despite the fact the hedgehog was still covered in the small trailer bed. "Don't wanna keep yer bride waiting! I'm sure there are lots of fella's looking ta take yer place."

Shadow glared at Randy as he tried to straiting out the tux as the male squirrel opened up the door to leave. "And you being one of them?" Shadow responded causing Randy to stop his leave and look back at the groom.

"I might be just a little more unfit, but I'd treat her better." Randy's stare turned into a glare before he slammed the door and left Shadow alone to prep himself for the ceremony.

Shadow came out of the trailer and was quickly approached by Sandy's father, dean. "Morning, son!" Dean called happily as he looked his new son-in-law up and down.

Shadow was very confused as Dean seemed to not care for him at all the whole time, he'd spent at his house right before the wedding. The hedgehog could only figure this new found thrill of being around him was brough on by the excitement of his only daughter finally getting married.

"Morning." Shadow responded as if he'd rather be talking to anyone else.

"The reception will be getting way in just an hour so let me show ya how it's planned out!" Shadow was even now confused at how excited his father-in-law was about the ceremony and he drug him around by the arm telling him what he, Shadow, needed to do when and where. The older man seemed thrilled. Shadow just seemed to find a hard time understand how this man didn't think he was good enough for his daughter, but now that the wedding date came, he was overjoyed by the event. Maybe he didn't hate him as much as he thought?

"Now after ya two say yer vows, ya get all sappy then walk down the walk way. Y'all kiss again and she tosses her bouquet… Women love that sappy shit!" Dean laughed before dragging Shadow on to the many tables set out as caterers set up their own booths. "You two will take yer seat at the main table with myself, mommy, Randy, yer friend Mei, and that Static fella."

Shadow tried to hide his anger at the fact Static would be seated at the main table with him and his wife. He took a few deep breaths as he tried to start hearing what is father in law was going on about.

"After about an hour Sandy and ya will dance, and then I'll have my dance with her, and you'll have a dance with Miss Mei. Sandy told me she was as close ta a mother as ya have these days."

Dean kept on talking on as Shadow lost interest as the more he was told the more he hated this whole affair. All of it besides marring the woman he loved. Mei… Static, and even all of the on lookers he could do without. He just wanted to wed her, and be done with all the rest. Still, he knew her owed her to do things right, and make her happy as well. He let out a small sigh as he tried his damnedest to hear what Dean was saying, but made little progress as all the guests started to take their seats.

"Take yer place, boy!" Dean chimed in causing Shadow to wake up from his daze. "I'm gonna go get ready ta take yer bride to ya." Dean beamed happily at Shadow before losing his enthusiasm for a moment. "Ya best do her right, and I trust ya will as she trusted ya." Dean kept the harsh look as his face as he turned to make his way to the main house to lead Sandy down the aisle.

Randy made his way to the alter and was met by Randy standing next to him. "No pressure!" Randy teased as Shadow finally started to stress.
