You may be seeing some similarities between Hermione and Katniss in Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 & 2 with Katniss's nightmares and the air raid. Katniss is also worried about the welfare of Peeta, like Ron and Harry are worrying about Hermione's welfare, just saying.
"How did it go, the recovery?" Ron asked as they walked back from St. Mungos from fetching Hermione. "Pretty good actually. They served a pretty plain dinner and we went to bed. I woke up and they said I was free to go." she chirped. Ron was suspicious and whispered to Harry "You think she got a concussion? She's not moody." "Moody?" Hermione said with disgust "I wasn't moody Ron, how dare you?" She smacked his head with a newspaper. She then unrolled the paper, shaking her head. "It's nuts. The Daily Prophet is nuts. They're out of their mind!" Ron got the paper and read a bit. "More 'bout her. Snob from Malfoy." Harry took it. 'She's not to be trusted...blah, blah, blah..." Hermione sighed and said "No offense guys, but I'm probably the one with the most book smarts here. Malfoy's working with his father. That's how the basilisk got into Hogwarts. But we have no proof." Harry nodded, a little bummed. "Wait, how would he get in?" Hermione thought a little. "Lucius Malfoy is the new leader of the Death Eaters, his eyes, there were oddly snakelike, and he was paler. Maybe once Voldemort realized his Horcruxes were being destroyed, he transferred some of his powers to him. Probably including Parceltounge." Ron looked at Hermione. "But how would he transfer his powers to him?" Hermione sighed "I looked it up, and it's a related way with a Horcrux. Voldemort must be distantly related to him, and there's such thing, called an If Only Will. Lucious wants all of Voldemort's powers, and Voldemort said that he could have it, if only..." she paused for a moment "It has to be like this, a textbook definition. The requirements to fulfilling an If Only Will is for the person who wants to inherit the powers to kill his offspring's mortal enemy." Harry's eyes went wide "So Lucius is hunting for you." Hermione nodded "And might as well kill two birds with one stone. Or three. He's a pureblooded maniac, he'll enslave practically every Muggle-born, if not kill them. Everyone is in danger here."
Hermione hid inside a hollow rock by Malfoy Manor. She's been instructed by Harry to be part of the "recovery team" when Kingsley Shacklebolt and Ron snoops on the Death Eaters inside. When they get out, Hermione is the one to Apparate and tend to wounds, if needed. She hoped she didn't have to. After almost dozing off, she had heard voices and screeches coming close to her. She looked through in one of the peepholes seeing cobblestone before a Dementor blocked her vision. Alarmed, she looked in another. Ron! He was fleeing for his life to the rock, a couple of Death Eaters after him. Hermione grabbed her wand and tipped over the rock, exposing herself. She flew spells at every one of the pursuers, shouting Body-Bind curses and ropes, along with stunning spells. They all fell. Ron went over to her "Ron, what happened to you? Where's Shacklebolt?" a massive cut in his arm, looking like he'd splinched. He collapsed in front of her. "Ron, look at me!" he was unconscious. Dementors started to spill in from every corner, and started sucking Ron's face off, "Expecto Patronum!" It rendered useless. She tried to fight them, they kept feasting on Ron. She soon noticed that they weren't going for her It's my IV! she realized, and reached under her shirt. She knew she was taking a risk, but she had to help him. She pulled it out and stuck it on Ron. The Dementors circled the duo like they were the eye in the tornado. Slowly, they went upwards, unable to grasp the thing they loved most. Slowly the frost that had erupted on the ground melted, and Hermione tried to shake Ron awake. Panic arose as she noticed that Ron wasn't breathing "Ron!" she practically yelled. She started doing chest compressions, performing CPR. After several loops, she begins to worry. "Ron!" thoughts spiraled in her mind. He was being held back from her, wanting to assist her as she had laid, crumpled on the floor beside that veil. "Ron!" grief came into her. "You're not coming back," she said quietly. She laid her face on his chest "You're not coming back." she sniffled a little. She laid there, sobbing. Ten minutes passed. Hermione could feel some movement under her, but she didn't notice. A shard of glass fell out of Ron's hand, and it started to stir. He started breathing, and his eyes fluttered open. Noticing the change in weight on his chest, he looked at the head resting on his belly. Recognizing the sobs immediately, he raised his hand and put it around Hermione's shoulder. "I love you, Hermione." The sobbing stopped. "I love you, Hermione." she was holding her breath. She looked at him and he smiled. She wiped her eyes, "Ron?" she had a hint of disbelief in her voice. "Yes?" the edges of hers curled upwards. "I love you too." Hermione leaned in, and kissed him. Ron didn't care and embraced it. "Don't you ever scare like that ever again," she said once she let go. He wiped the tear off her cheek. "I'll try."
The door opened to Grimmauld Place, Harry didn't even look up from his Qubblier and said "How was the follow-up, Hermione?" she sighed "They didn't like that I shared with Ron. He needed it though." Harry just nodded, not putting an eye away from the paper. "What's in your interest that you can't turn your head from?" she snapped at Harry. "Quibbler's holding a party for all Battle Of Hogwarts veterans. You think we should go?" he heard some footsteps from the stairs "Merlin's beard! Hermione!" Harry finally looked up. Hermione gave a grim face at Ron. Her hair was now only up to her shoulders. "Were you crazy?" Ron exclaimed, and Harry just stared. "I don't know why they cut it to be honest. They said it was interfering or something. I was just as shocked as you were when they snuck to me in behind." Indeed, it was a rough cut, not made by a barber, that was for sure. Hermione took her coat off and just flung it on the couch and plopped down. "Long day?" Ron asked her "Yaasssss..." Ron looked at her, still trying to get used to her look. "When's this veteran's party?" Hermione asked. "Tonight at Hogwarts." Hermione perked up. "Tonight? Is it formal?" he shook his head. Hermione went upstairs gleefully. "Well, that lifted her spirits," Ron said after she got up the stairs. "What should I wear?" Ron asked Harry. Harry shrugged. "Sweater it is." he went upstairs.
The trio walked into the courtyard of Hogwarts, students gazing at them from the pillars. Some students looked excited, others tried to list all the people coming in the courtyard, more others tried to at least list the activities each person did. There were more whispers than usual as they stepped in, which was not unusual to Harry. The crowd of students parted for them, making a path to the Great Hall. When they got in the Hall, they looked around. The candles were gone, but the torches stayed alight. The tables were along the sides of the hall, now serving as tables for everyone, one table was dedicated to foods, like chicken wings, chocolates, salads, and pizzas. There were champagne and Butterbeers, cocoa lattes, and other magical drinks. Ron dashed over to the drink table, and Harry went up to reintroduce himself to the D.A. Hermione did not know what to do, so she grabbed some cheese from the cheese plate and sat down at one of the benches. She was instantly greeted by Neville, and he tapped her on the shoulder. Hermione jumped a little, her piece of cheese flying a foot in the air before Hermione went to catch it. "Neville! It's been a long time!" Neville nodded, eyeing the tubes on her back for a moment. "Wow, Hermione, you look different." She stared "I'll take that as a compliment." He gave Hermione some hot chocolate from a floating platter. "So, how are you feeling?" "Quite well." a moment passed between the two. "I've been trying to ask this for years. What was that spell that you used on me in my first-year?" Hermione was deep in thought for a moment, "Petrifious Totalious, I think." Neville raised his glass, "Cheers." "Cheers." they clinked glasses. The torches warmed the room, and then Professor McGonagall stepped up to the podium. "Sonorous," she said, and instantly her voice boomed over the hall. "Attention, everyone. The students will be coming in for dinner, and I am guessing they would itching to meet you." The food, including Ron's half-eaten chicken wing, soared into the air along with the tables. Benches moved as if they were on strings, and tables plopped down, the food replenished and duplicated, distributing them in neat piles on the tables, now perfectly placed, and the benches, perfectly straight. Students filled in the room and Professor McGonagall ushered all the adults to the raised level, shouts and chatting filled the room when they sat down. "Simmer down now, simmer." when nobody listened other than the Hufflepuff students, she raised her wand and set some showering sparks. This immensely calmed down all the students, and Minerva spoke "Before we eat, may I introduce you to Luna Lovegood, who has volunteered to speak today. Luna stepped up to the podium, her hair bouncing along with her cork earrings and laces. She was only slightly taller than Hermione then she had seen her at Hogwarts the previous school year, and Hermione had to admit she had a little bit of gut to go up there without any notes. "Ahem." she said "As a Ravenclaw in my school years and surrounded by Gryffindors, I have wondered, what is it like to be brave? Well, during the last two years I have. Bravery is not sliting a troll's throat with a sword or throwing yourself in the path of death, but it is something so much more. Bravery isn't one of the things you are categorized in the Sorting Hat, although it is considered a Gryffindor trait, bravery lies beneath every one of us. The people who were heartbroken became wiser, those who have success stories have felt the most pain. Thank you." she walked back to her spot on the platform. The students just looked at their neighbors with either awe or shock. One of the Ravenclaws started to clap, and everyone followed. Luna did a faint smile. "Let the feast begin! Mingle!" Harry and the others ran to join the students.
