It was around 2am and the four friends were all in the waiting room. Dave was reading, while Emylee was sleeping on his shoulder. Randy was rubbing Stephanie's shoulders while she was on the phone with her Dad.

When isn't Vince trying to spin this to his advantage….

"...Uh huh…...when she is ready I'll talk to her. Uh huh…...Dad, ok, can we do this later?"

Hanging up, she shook her head. Randy chuckled at her frustration.

"This is the shit he pulled when you two got married, and when he filmed my taping. He never stops. That's why you turn your phone off until the next day", Emylee said with her eyes closed.

Randy fist bumped her legs laughing at her statement.

"How long are these Cena twins gonna take is my question? Hopefully everything is ok", Dave added.

"Yeah, or John would have been out here with an instant update, remember".

"Yeah…."

The four sat in silence remembering Emylee's labor. It was a lot to deal with but at least this time it wasn't a lot of people. Just them, and no leaking to the press, which was great in this case. Just an intimate moment for friends. John slowly walked out looking tired. He leaned against the wall to catch his breath. Dave and Randy stood up first, and with the women following.

"Damn. I fully respect y'all women. I'm tired and I didn't push anything out", he chuckled.

"How are they?"

"Everything is perfect. Trish is sleeping, and the babies are in the nursery. Walk with me, you can see them".

Randy, Dave, and Stephanie walked with him.

"I"m going to wake her up. I'll catch up", Emylee said to the group.

Splitting up, Emylee headed to the room. She wanted to talk to Trish.

"Ok John. You two make some great looking kids", Dave said.

"Bruh…...why are they so big? Were you trying to kill Trish though?", Randy said.

"Fuck you man, they ain't that big", John pushed him.

"John, they are beautiful and healthy. Do not mind my husband over here", Stephanie grinned.

"Tell the truth tho? Steph, are they really big?"

"I mean, they are chunky, but it is in a good way".

The three men laughed so hard. Stephanie covered her month to hide her laugh but it was a fail. They stood looking at the babies, as John broke the silence first.

"What do you think Emylee and Trish are talking about?"

"I don't know, but if I learned anything from those two, is when they are ready for us to know, they'll tell us", Dave answered.

"Unless….", Randy looked over at his wife.

"This time, for once, I'm as clueless as you two. I do have my suspicions", Stephanie said looking onto the babies.

"I think she is making peace with shit", John added.

"You say it like she has cancer", Randy said.

"No seriously, hear me out. This last year has been weird for all of us. Those two haven't talked in a while, and Trish is the like between her and Dwayne. I think she's squashing all of it. Weird timing, but happy she's settling it. We all had our moments".

"Oh so you got philosophical since you began the acting classes", Dave added.

"I mean, yeah. You gotta fix your shit if you think you are going to be a peace. Just all truth".

"He speaks the truth", Stephanie said.

"So Steph….are the babies really that fat then?", John pleaded.

"I"m walking away from you. You had me with you", she laughed walking away. The four of them made their way to Trish's room.

She entered slowly. SHe didn't want to wake her, but she wanted to talk to her. Friend to friend. It was time. Oddly enough, Trish was up, reading another parenting book.

"You'll get nothing from those. I didn't", Emylee said.

"I'm just nervous. These are my kids, ya know", she closed the book.

"You need a support system. You clearly have it. You know that", she said sitting on the bed.

"John is going to be working a lot this next year. Filming and being champ. Emylee, i got two of them".

"I'm here. I know I've been selfish a lot lately, but I'm working on changing it. I wanted to come in here and tell you I"m sorry, and i know what you did".

"Sorry for what? More importantly, what did i do?"

"You talked to DJ….and Dave".

Trish grinned at her work. In her mind, DJ wasn't ready for Emylee and the life she had with Dave. even if she didn't go back to Dave, he wasn't that guy. Yes, he was a dad, but Emylee expected more, and no way he was going to give it. Nor was he going to be civil with Dave. Both of them are too petty to be that mature.

"I've known both of them long enough to know that was a dumpster fire waiting to happen. How you missed that was my question".

"If you slept with them, you'd know…."

"I have, next".

"Time the fuck out, which one?"

"DJ. How do you think I know how he works?"

"Ok, it almost got awkward…."

"No it was my hoe phase. Besides, he was in the middle of his divorce. Dave was still very married. I have standards. Minimal but I do have them", she laughed.

"Fair enough".

"Again, why sorry?"

"Just wrapped up in myself, and kinda neglected our friendship. I miss us girly".

Trish got teary eyed, as Emylee wiped away tears of her own.

"Em, this business can be shitty, and possibly drive you insane. You have nothing to apologize about. When you and Dave split, I didn't blame you for disappearing. That wasn't a normal break up. You both are famous. Everything you two do is under a damn microscope. Just for now on, don't shut us out. We aren't picking sides. We aren't the enemy. We are family. John and I love you two, but if shit goes south, our friendship doesn't affect that".

"The same can be said for you, but let's hope we don't have to find out", Emylee said hugging Trish.

The four entered the room as the two were hugging.

"Why are you two crying and hugging. What did you do?", John said walking over checking out Trish.

"Nothing. We are bonding. I swear".

"Em. I meant what I said".

"I know. Me too".

The other three looked confused, but didn't ask.

"John is too smart for his dumb ass", Randy whispered to Stephanie.
