Chapter Eleven: Fall of the Master
Main POV
Dust kicked up around us, dashing through the infinite desert of hueco mundo. I almost felt bad, Eyaria is an excellent conversationalist. She kept me on my toes, In more ways than one. Her words were almost as sharp as her claws. It would be a shame, that she would die here.
She was strong, but to face three adjuchas in straight combat. With no hope of evolving to vasto lorde. She would die, but I would get my revenge and grow stronger. In straight up power, they had way more than us. Though, my unique skills will make up for it.
I was an Owl, I could suppress my reastsu to the point where I was Invisible to that sense. I can see the spiritual energy that makes up my fellow hollows. Then of course, is the silent claw. An attack that can tear into anything, hitting critical points. I can sense the weak point of any hollow, then sneak up to them, then strike before they can react. These abilities were weaker as an adjuchas, but now that I was a Vasto Lorde. A true master, they were enough to defeat this shark and her minions.
I can feel the 'Kings' minion moving toward the shark. That odd energy stabilizing with the normal hollow energy. Something about that odd energy made me feel something, I had not felt in a while. Fear. It was a primal fear, I could almost hear the voices of the hollows before yelling at me. That this power was to be feared.
The same power as Nel, but not the same. This one, it still felt chaotic. the 'kings' minion's energy was not balanced in the slightest. So most likely any abilities this hollow could have would be useless at this point. Though, in straight power he was the strongest thing I have ever felt.
Not that it would matter, he would die. And I would grow stronger. I might have to find another hollow, it would be lonely. Maybe Eyaria would survive, that would be a pleasant surprise. Though, I could not let her get to Vasto Lorde. From what I could sense, she was still fairly far away from it. The three minions of the shark would get her closer, but not close enough.
The shark and the 'kings' minion are now together, and there is the power spike. We are about five minutes away. They should be weakened by that point. Also, only my presence would even be noted. I spread out my wings, and my presence drops to zero. I can see Eyaria look at me out of the corner of my eye, but at this point even she should be able to sense that battle. I would be surprised if half of hueco mundo did not know the power they were throwing around.
Ah, interesting. The shark's minions were going to help. I slowed my speed, Eyaria slowing with me. I can see she is giving me a questioning look. I chuckle "don't worry, you won't even have to get involved. The 'kings' pawn is stronger than I thought. He has already wounded the shark, and her minions have moved in to protect her."
I see her nod "so what should I do". I look at her, a smile growing behind my mask. "Watch the magic". I disappear in Sondio, the static sound that normally accompanies it is replaced with dead silence. Ten seconds to hit
10, the 'kings' minion was standing over the bodys of the shark and her minions
9, the shark is trying desperately to stand and fight.
8, I begin sense the weak point in the 'kings' minion
7, the odd energy is making it difficult
6, the minion is gloating
5, his lower back
4, to the left
3, up a bit
2, left shoulder blade
1, Silent claw ready
I Strike, and blood flys
A spike of energy, a new enemy
Pain, blood, a flash of steel
I felt my body get sent flying into a sand dune, I could feel my body quickly working to repair the damage. Three new energys, the odd energy. I look up out of the dune, three beings. My eyes wide, the middle one. His power, It's way too strong to be real. It was suppressed but it was so huge. Even if every hollow in hueco mundo came together, would they win?
I can see one with white hair pointing his blade in my direction, was he the one that hit me?, or was it the one with the eye covering. It's not the black haired one, or I would be dead for sure. My injuries healed at this point, I knew that they knew I was here. I could feel Eyaria's panic from her energy. Not that I could do anything to help her, I could feel the white haired one's gaze on me.
The black haired…. God, that's all he could be. The black haired god was talking with the shark and her minions. Time ticked by, slowly but surely. These beings had the same odd energy, but no hollow energy. It's like Nel and the 'kings' minion were a fusion of these beings and hollows. The god helped the shark to her feet, then began to walk toward me. I got to my feet, my energy suppressed and a Sondio ready. I tried to sense the weak points, but I could find none. This odd energy was so confusing, I had to run.
Soon he was near, not within striking distance but close enough to hear. "Hello there, you're an interesting one. I can't even feel your reatsu" his voice smooth, his eyes holding intelligence that made me want to flee. Power and Intelligence, I would not win this fight. I would not get this far to just die. "Are you going to kill me" I look him straight in the eye, I can see him stare straight through me. As if looking into my soul. I see a smile creep onto his face. A charming smile that would capture the minds of weaker willed foes. "Why would I do that, you could be very useful to me"
"What do you want?" I can feel the fear creep into my voice, what would this god want with me. "I think the question is what do you want? And then what would you do to receive it". I blinked, what did I want? It was obvious what I wanted. "I want my memories back, I want to remember my life before this hell"
I see this god smile "That can be granted, and all I need from you is your loyalty and support". I feel a sense of doubt, I am a master. I fought through my own body, Hundreds of hollows, battles that ended with my near death. All down to this. A threat I could not face, I knew that if I refused I would die. No question. Then a smile, and a plan growing in my mind. I nod to this god "I agree"
I see the god smile, before saying "What's your name"
"My name is Cazador Definitivo"
