I'm really excited for this chapter! I hope you love it as well.

The sun was directly above us as Mama readied herself to kick Gabe out. Papa and Triton had showed up a while ago and I was sitting on Triton's lap, watching solemnly as Mama put her things into the hand-bag.

"Sophia?" Papa asked, sitting next to me in the cabin. He tucked a stray strand of my hair and looked at me.

I hummed to let him know that I was listening. We hadn't told them what Gabe had done to us, only that he was vile.

"Did Sally's husband do anything to either of you? Don't lie to me mija." He whispered, but it carried throughout the silent cabin. I stiffened, cluing them that something did happen, and looked at my Mama. Her face was a bit pale, but she held my gaze steadily.

We stared at each other for a while, contemplating whether we should tell them. I silently told Mae that I would be ok with whatever she decided, though we couldn't pretend he didn't do anything anymore, with all the staring and everything…. Mae sighed, and then nodded.

Papa and Triton froze, looking at both of us closely.

"What did the el cerdo do?" [pig\ swine]

I gulped and hid my face in Triton's chest, prompting him to hold me closer. I really didn't want to relive everything.

"Que pasa hermanita?" (1)Triton spoke softly.

I shook my head.

"It's alright, he's going away now hijita. I'll always protect you and keep you safe" Papa soothed, looking at Mama, ashen faced. Mama gulped before saying-

"He-he hit Maya and me."

And all hell broke loose.

Their faces darkened and it suddenly started raining outside, pounding against the earth mercilessly. Papa's face was positively feral, and I couldn't see Triton's face, but I'm sure it would have resembled Papa's. I wasn't sure what happened to the rest of the world, but I'm concerned about the welfare of it. I was touched that someone cared for me this much, I wasn't that significant or important.

"WHAT?! HOW DARE HE?!" Papa roared.

I flinched at the volume, hugging Triton tight and calming him down a bit. Mama went over to my Papa and hugged him from behind gently, whispering something into his ear. His shoulders drooped and he turned and hugged her back, kissing her cheek.

I shared a conspiratorial grin with my Hermano mayor seeing this particular interaction with my parents. Mwuahahahahahahhahahha!

Mama was opening the door to the Camaro while holding an umbrella as relief against the rain. The rain hadn't stopped yet, as Papa and Triton had merely shrugged with a dark look on their identical faces when I had questioned them.

Looking at Papa's face, I knew that he felt guilty at leaving them to that fate. And if he was anything like her, the guilt would be crushing him. Triton had also taken to appearing younger, and Papa looked almost Mama's age, which I did not know because it's 'rude to ask' apparently.

So she tugged at his hand and drew him away from the others. He looked at me inquiringly, but a part of him seemed like he knew what was coming.

"Papa, can you go with Mama to kick him out? Just…. in case." I finished, looking down. I really wanted someone who could fight him with Mama, in case things got out of control.

Papa lifted my chin up with his fingers and looked at me softly.

"Si, Amor. I will go with your mother." [Yes, love]

I smiled at him gratefully.

"But, hijita whatever that swine did to you, you mustn't let it affect you negatively. That's what he wants, right? You should become stronger and braver because of it mija. You should become better and never let it affect you from living your life to the fullest."

His words hit me hard. Papa was right, I shouldn't let that stupid man get to me. I shouldn't give him that satisfaction, I had a rebellious reputation after all. I would put it all in the past and draw strength and compassion from it. I would make Papa proud. I stood taller and prouder and smiled at him.

"Gracias Papa, yo necesitaba eso." (2) I whispered and hugged him tight.

The hug made me feel warm and safe, so loved. I loved my Papa.

"I love you my daughter. I hope you'll always know that." He said softly caressing my hair.

I was sure there was a grin on my face as I said-

"I love you too Papa. Now shoo! Mama is about to go!"

With identical bright grins on both of our faces, we went back to Mama and Triton.

Sally was really brave. And beautiful, and strong, did he mention beautiful? Poseidon watched as she stood up to the man who had abused and mistreated her for years, and yet she quite literally threw him out. He was so proud of his former love.

She slammed the door on his unworthy face and looked at him. (AN: Do you want me to write a one-shot on how exactly Gabe got his butt kicked?)

He was horrified to see that she was shaking and her mesmerizing blue eyes held unshed tears. He immediately went to her and drew her into his arms, letting her completely lean on him.

She buried herself in his chest, muffled sobs wracking her curvy frame. It was his fault. Leaving her with barely any money, and a newborn child all on her own with no family to lean on. But she overcame all of that, married a foul-smelling bastard for her daughter's safety, and raised Sofia all on her own.

"I'm sorry." He whispered to her, as she sobbed her heart out.

Her arms sneaked around his neck at that and for a moment, his heart skipped a beat.

He realised something, as they sat on the floor of the apartment littered with beer cans, as he held Sally in her moment of weakness, as she sobbed her heart out on his shoulder.

Sally Jackson had stolen his heart, once more.

I was buying Triton and me blue ice cream when it happened.

We decided to go into the city for a while, and I was horrified to know that Triton had never eaten anything blue. No relative of mine can commit such an atrocity on my watch. So, I told him to wait there while I would buy blue ice cream from the tienda across the street. [shop]

After making sure that the 'you can walk sign' was on, I crossed the street, carefully balancing two cones of delicious, specifically blue ice cream. I stuck out my tongue from the side of my mouth, my utmost concentration on the fact that the blue ice cream must not fall to the ground.

I didn't even see the giant truck speeding my way, uncontrolled and uncaring that the signal was red.

I didn't hear the driver screaming at me to move, nor the drivers nearby.

I didn't see Triton reaching toward me.

I didn't hear the people yelling at me to move.

I felt the truck slam into me, pain like I've never felt before. It hurt so much, I couldn't breathe.

My body felt ripped apart-

I could vaguely hear screaming.

Every limb, muscle and tissue torn-

"Hermanita!" I could hear Triton.

All I wanted to do was get rid of the pain-

The blue ice cream from my hand had fallen down, slowly melting from my hands.

Maybe if I let the darkness probing my mind in-

Bright blue and red flashing lights. Someone picked my broken body up.

I let the darkness consume me.

"SOFIA!"

I'm evil.

I do actually have a plan, and I hope you like this chapter!

And yes, since it was a 'tie' I chose Sally and Poseidon pairing.

Also, do you want Sofia to be blessed by Primordials? Or should I steer clear of the whole thing and go with the fates?
