In Flourish and Blotts, they ran into a boy whom Professor McGonagall called 'Percy Weasley'. He pompously declared practically to the whole shop that he would happily do his job as Gryffindor Prefect and obnoxiously thanked McGonagall for convincing Dumbledore that he was the perfect choice.
"Who is this?" he asked when Adeline and Dean walked over to them to get her help dragging Sam out of the book shop.
"Adeline and Dean Winchester," she told him, barely sparing him a glance. "Professor, we may need help getting Sam out of here without buying the shop. Is there anything I can tell him to get him out of here without this happening?"
"He is able to owl order them."
"Perfect. Thank you, professor." Adeline made her way outside to wait for Sam to be done.
Outside the shop, she ran into a crowd of seven red heads and one Boy-Who-Lived. Harry spotted her and pointed them out.
"You! You are a liar!"
Adeline gave him a smirk and slow clapped. "Nice to know that the 'Boy-Who-Lived' gets to determine what the truth is. Especially since I didn't lie. I don't lie. I would appreciate it if you would leave me the hell alone, but I understand you probably won't."
The woman gasped when Adeline swore. "Language, young lady!"
"I do believe that was English, Miss...?" The woman just gaped back at her. Two identical boys, no doubt twins, stepped forward to introduce the group.
"We are-"
"-Gred and Forge-"
"-Weasley. Pleasure-"
"-to meet you."
"And to you, Fred and George. I wonder... Do you by any chance pray to Loki?" she asked with a slight smirk.
They stared at her with identical gobsmacked expressions. "How did you...?" they asked in unison.
Adeline's smirk grew. "Just a good guess. Also, his favorite is chocolate." She could almost see the gears spinning in their heads as they realized what she was telling them. She turned back to Harry. "Now, what were you accusing me of lying about specifically?" she asked, her voice turning slightly more dangerous.
"About-About being the heir to the House of Potter," he stuttered out.
"But I am. I'm the older twin by about 3 minutes. I went to Gringotts and claimed Heirship when I was nine. Since then, I have appointed Andromeda Tonks as my regent, as I know and trust her, and blocked everyone except myself from all vaults besides yours unless given explicit permission from myself. Ask our account manager, Griphook. I'm sure he'd be happy to clear all this up." The usual 'and screw over Dumbledore' was unspoken.
"But...Dumbledore...He promised!"
"Promised what?" Adeline asked, starting to grow suspicious of the headmaster's plans, but said nothing and let nothing show on her face.
"That I would be Lord Potter!" he whined. Adeline lifted her eyebrow to lift at his outburst, it having confirming her suspicions that he was a spoiled brat, but otherwise ignored it.
"You wouldn't, by any chance, know anything about Sirius Black, would you?" Adeline asked, changing the subject, trying to figure out how he was falsely imprisoned despite her parents' wills and thought that this would be the perfect chance to see how others saw him.
Mrs. Weasley shuddered. "Now, young lady, why would you be asking about something so dreadful?"
"Curiosity."
Fred and George were happy enough to give her the desired answers. Adeline didn't bother trying to figure out who was talking. "Oh, yeah. He's the one that betrayed you guys and killed Peter Pettigrew."
"Do you guys know someone with a pet they have had for about ten years now, most likely a small animal that they found and took in rather than buying at a pet store?"
"Yeah, Percy's got a rat, now Ron's got it." They pointed at a boy she assumed was the youngest boy.
"With you?"
"Yeah."
She turned to the boy she assumed was Ron and put on a sweet smile that she only used when trying to get something. "Can I have that rat and get you another pet in exchange? One of your choice, of course."
"Why?" he asked suspiciously, yet she could tell that he was seriously considering it.
"I have questions and I want answers."
"Don't you have your own pet?"
"I guess I do. But I want that rat. You wanna shake on it?" she asked, holding out her hand.
Ron hesitantly reached out his hand and shook hers.
"Great! What do you want?" Adeline asked cheerfully dragging him and George towards the pet shop. Of course, dragging George with her was more to slip him some of Loki's favorite chocolate. She winked at both twins when they realized what she had done.
And that was where Professor McGonagall, the Winchester brothers, and Castiel found them, looking at owls.
