"WHAT'S UP?" Mya signed, still confused as they left the Hoover building.

"SEE." Sue replied.

They silently walked to a park a few blocks away. Once away from people, they took their masks off.

"Alright, what on God's green earth is going on? Why are we here?" Mya asked as they sat on a park bench.

Sue smiled. "I'd like you to meet some people." She said as a couple walked up to them.

Mya frowned, looking at them.

"Mya, this is Francesca and Brian Witz, your birth parents." Sue said, smiling.

Mya's eyes widened, and her mouth opened, but nothing came out. "Uh," She finally uttered.

"It's nice to finally meet you." Francesca said, smiling behind her mask.

"Hi," Mya whispered, then turned to Sue, her eyes still on Francesca and Brian. "How did you,"

"When we were searching for paperwork to incriminate Kim, I came across your records. It had your birth parents names, all it took was a bit of research. When I told them that you were looking for them, they took the first flight here." Sue explained, happy her little reunion was going so well.

Mya nodded, still not comprehending.

Sue smiled as she got up. "I should leave you three alone. You have a lot to catch up on.

"It was nice to meet you!" Francesca said. Sue smiled her reply as she walked back to the Hoover building. She smiled widely, thinking of how Mya felt. It was something she never thought she had, but now she did. Soon enough, she was upstairs, and walking into the bullpen.

Jack frowned when he saw Sue walk back into the bullpen. He wasn't there when she first arrived. "What are you doing here?" He said and signed.

She smiled through her mask. "Giving Mya a special gift."

"Speaking of Mya, where is she?" He replied, continuing to sign.

"Where she's supposed to be. She'll be back in a bit."

He suspiciously looked at her, but let it go.

"Speaking of," Sue continued. "Can you believe Troy's nephew is already going to college?"

He raised his eyebrows in surprise. "No. I can't believe it's been that long."

She nodded. "He's taking online classes this semester, but wants to go to a Chicago school in the spring. The school asked if I would like to speak at their disability showcase, and I accepted. Would you like to come with me?"

"To Chicago?" He confirmed. Sue nodded. "Sure, any chance I get to be in the Midwest, I'll take!"

Sue smiled widely through her mask. "Good. We leave on the 11th."

"You'll never guess what just happened!" Mya exclaimed, coming into the bullpen a few minutes later. Jack pointed to her so Sue would know she spoke.

Sue looked at Mya, then looked back at Jack and smiled. "That's my cue to leave. See you later at the party!"

He nodded, watching her leave.

"THANK YOU." Mya signed as Sue walked past.

"NONE PROBLEM." Sue replied, then left.

"So what's your news?" Bobby asked. Mya recounted her experience.

?-? LISTEN TO: The Way You Look Tonight by Tenille Townes

"WOW, YOU LOOK AMAZING." Jack signed, seeing Sue later that afternoon, fully in costume.

"YOU SAME." Sue replied.

"READY?" He asked. She nodded. They both walked into the party in the cafeteria. It was strange, everyone was masked, no matter if their character had one or not, and Sue couldn't understand almost everyone because of the masks, but Jack and Mya promised to interpret.

"FOOD." She signed, seeing all the delicacies they offered. It was behind Plexiglas, and someone was handing everyone the food. They happily took the treats, munching as they looked at everyone's costumes, guessing who everyone was. "This is fun." Sue said.

Jack nodded. "It is." He said through his clear mask. "Different, but fun."

"AGREE." She signed, food in her mouth. "I wonder how next Halloween will be." She said when she swallowed.

"I wonder how next week will be." Jack replied.

Sue sadly chuckled. It was so true. "Let's hope everything will be safe, and peaceful next Halloween. I love seeing all the kids and their costumes come to our door, not to mention that I usually OD on chocolate."

Jack chuckled.

Mya put her hand on Sue's shoulder. "That's my vice too."

Sue smiled. "Maybe we should make a Chocolate Anonymous."

Mya laughed. "OK, but I wouldn't join! I love my chocolate too much!"

"Maybe you're right." Sue replied. "We would have extremely low attendance, wouldn't we?"

Jack touched Sue's shoulder. "US-TWO DANCE?"

Sue smiled widely and nodded. He took her on the dance floor, and they danced the night away. Soon, it was late, and they had to go home.

"Look at that full moon!" Sue exclaimed, looking up in the sky as they walked to the garage.

"It's nice, but not as nice as you standing next to me." Jack said when she looked back at him.

She smiled widely, then leaned in to kiss him. It was a magical midnight kiss, under a beautiful silvery moon.

"Trick or treat!" The kids yelled as they knocked on the bedroom door on Halloween night.

"Happy Halloween!" Carla exclaimed, kneeling on the floor and opening the door, handing them handfuls of candy each. Once they received their candy, they moved onto the next door, repeating the process.

"It looks like your event is a success." Jack said to Sue as they watched the kids go from door to door. The kids had already knocked on their doors, so they were watching them finish up upstairs.

Sue nodded and smiled. "Yes, it is. I'm glad we were able to do it."

He smiled at her.

"And I'm glad I got out of the basement." Howie exclaimed. Everyone chuckled.

"Chicago will be fun." Sue said after a short pause.

Jack nodded. "It will be interesting."

"But we'll have fun." She replied.

He smiled as he put his arm around her. "With you, every where's fun."

She smiled at him as they watched the kids finish up and run to their parents, showing all the candy they had collected.

Seeing the sight, Sue remembered Melody and Chris, and dreamed that that would be soon. She quickly glanced at Jack. Maybe it would.
