Flashback:
That's his name" Andy said with a huge smile. They had just picked out their little boys name.
"These last 3 months feel like they are taking forever." Robert said.
"I know I can't wait to meet Ashton." she said.
"I'm glad we agreed on you picking the first name and I picking his middle because I could have never came up with Ashton." he said, kissing her belly.
"Well I would have never been able to come up with James." she said. "And they both go so well together.
"Ashton James Sullivan." He said. "It's still crazy that we only have a few more months and then we will have a newborn."
"I know. Well I'm going to try and sleep while he is asleep." she said, rolling on to her side. "I love you."
"I love you too." he said spooning her.

Present time:
It was 2:30 am, they had only fell asleep 4 hours ago.
"God damn it." she said, waking up to what she thought was Ashton kicking really hard. "Buddy could you please calm down I am trying to sleep."
She laid back down but not less than 4 minutes later there was another one. On about the fifth one, Andy felt her water break.
"Rob wake up." She said, shaking him.
"Hmmmm what time is is Andy." He asked, still half asleep.
"It's 2:30." She said.
"Then go back to sleep." He said.
"Robert, Ash is coming. Like right now." She said, starting to sound a little more panicked.
When he heard those words he shot up and quickly hopped out of bed. He threw on a pair of sweats and a t-shirt before he handed Andy a pair of her sweats to change into. They already had the bags in the car so Andy quickly slipped on her birks and Robert slid on his slides as they rushed out the door.
The whole drive to the hospital Robert held Andy's hand and said sweet things to her. When they finally arrived, her contractions were 3 minutes apart. The doctors quickly got her to a room.
"Andy you are 8 meters dilated so I will come and check on you in about and hour." Carina said.
About an hour later Carina came back in the room. "Ok Andy it's time to push now." She said.
After about 15 minutes of pushing, Ashton was placed onto Andy's chest.
"Hi baby boy." She said in a baby voice.
"I have something for you." Robert said, digging into one of the bags. "I called one of our friends from Montana the day we picked out his name and had them put it on a blanket." Robert walked back over to the bed and handed her the little blue blanket with Ashton's name on it.
"Aww Rob, I love it and I love you." She said, kissing him.
"I love you too baby." He said, sitting at the bottom of the bed.
"Come here." She said, patting the bed and scooting over.
He got up and sat at the top of the bed next to Andy. She placed Ashton into Robert's big arms.
"He looks so tiny in your arms." She said, looking over at her two boys.
"Want to tell the team now or wait till later?" He asked.
"We could tell them now. We could also tell them his name by laying him out on the blanket and sending the team a picture." She said.
"Ok." He said.
"I'm going to message the girls and tell them to tell the guys." She said.

A- Will you guys tell the others and tell them they can stop by when visiting hours start
V- Ok but Maya I'm coming to get you and we are going to see them!
M- Yes!
A- How are you guys going to get in
M- We are his aunts. We are family. Plus if they don't let us in we will say we are firefighters and that we have shift at 7:00 am
A- Ok fine. You guys can come
M, V- Yes!
V- We will be there soon
"The girls are coming to the hospital." Andy said, looking over to Robert who had picked up the baby.
"Ok." He said.
"I love you." She said.
"Andy I know. You told me earlier. I love you too." He said, getting up and walking over.
"I know but I just love my boys so much." She said, taking Ashton out of Robert's arms as he cuddled into the bed next to her.
"You know I like the sound of that." He said.
"What?" She asked.
"Your boys." He said, kissing her.
"Well you are my boys and I love you both so much. He looks a lot like you." She said, looking back down at Ash.
"Yea but hopefully he doesn't have my hair." He said.
"What hair? I don't see anything." She said jokingly.
"Oh shut up." He said, gently nudging her arm.
*knock knock*
"Come in." She said.
"Omg Andy! Look at that sweet baby!" Maya said, rushing over to the side of the bed.
"Ok I'm going to give you three a minute and go call my parents." He said, getting off the bed and heading out the door.
Vic and Maya piled into the bed with Andy as they set there and watched Ashton sleep.
"So what's his full name?" Vic asked.
"His full name is Ashton James Sullivan." She said.
"How are you feeling new mama?" Maya asked.
"First of all, don't ever call me that. Second of all I feel all right but I'm a little sore." She said.
"Have you called your dad yet?" Vic asked.
"No because knowing him we would rush over and probably get a speeding ticket. Robert's parents live about 2 1/2 hours away so it's way to early from them to make that drive and visiting hours haven't started yet so they won't let them in. So they will probably come down later in the day." She said.
"Can I hold him?" Vic asked.
"Yeah sure but please go wash your hands first." She said.
Maya and Vic left after about an hour so that Andy could get some sleep since it was only 4:15 am. Robert got back into the bed and cuddled with the two for a while until he noticed Andy had fallen asleep. So, he picked up Ashton and placed him into the little bed beside Andy before getting back into bed and falling asleep himself.
8 am:
Andy has just woken up and was looking around the room when she noticed Ashton wasn't there.
"Where-where's Ashton? Robert where is he?" She asked, panicked and shaking her husband.
"Don't worry. The nurse came in about 30 minutes ago and said that she needed to do some test. He should be back soon." He said, pulling her closer and rubbing her arm to get her to calm down.
"Are your parents coming today?" She asked.
"No. They said they would come see him once we are home." He said.
"Ok. Can you hand me my phone so I can call dad." She asked.
"Sure." He said.
While Andy was calling her dad, they brought the baby back into the room. Robert picked him up. He was so distracted by his son he didn't notice Andy was off the phone and has taken a picture of the two.
"Am I aloud to hold my son?" She asked jokingly.
"Definitely not. He is all mine." He joked as he walked over to the side of the bed.
"You mean all ours. He's our perfect little boy." She said, smiling down at him.
"Come in." Robert said, hearing the knock at the door.
The door opened to reveal Travis, Dean, Ben, Maya, and Vic.
"Hey guys." Andy said.
"Hey." They all said.
"I'm surprised you two aren't like squealing and going crazy." Dean said.
"Trust me Dean, they did that all at like 3:45 in the morning." She said.
"You two already came? And didn't invite me!" Travis said, acting hurt.
"Visiting hours hadn't start yet so we had to lie to some nurses to get up here." Maya said.
"Can we hold him?" Ben asked.
"Yeah go wash your hands first." She said.
They all piled into the bathroom and washed there hands. Andy handed the baby over to Ben. The team had been there for about an hour when their was another knock on the door.
"Come in." She said. "Hi dad"
"Hello Andrea. Where's my grandson?" He said with a smile.
"Maya has him but you have to wash your hands before you can hold him." She said.
"Ok." He said, heading towards the bathroom.
"Ok well I think we are all going to get going because we have a 24 hour shift starting in a few hours." Vic said.
"No fair. I won't be able to work for another 3 months." Andy said. "We'll see you guys later."
"Bye." They all said.
Everyone Andy a hug before they left to get ready for shift.
"Where'd the team go?" Pruitt asked, walking out of the bathroom.
"They have to get ready for shift." Robert said.
"Ok." He said. "He's so beautiful."
"He looks a lot like Robert." She said.
"He looks like both of you." Her dad said.
After a while Ashton had fallen asleep so Pruitt decided to head home. They put the baby in the little crib next to them and cuddled into bed. It was a little after dinner that they had an actual conversation.
"You know what I just realized." Robert said.
"What?" Andy asked.
"Tomorrow is our 1 year wedding anniversary." He said, looking into her eyes as a smile grew across her face.
"It is." She said.
She leaned in and kissed him passionately. They pulled away for air and couldn't help but laugh.
"I have you a gift at home." He said.
"Aww Rob you didn't have to but I-I didn't get you anything." She said.
"Andy I don't need anything from you. Being married to you if my gift. Our son is my gift. I don't need anything more in my life." He said.
"Damn it Robert I was really trying not to cry today." She said, wiping away the tears.
"I didn't mean to make you cry. Come here." He said, pulling her closer where she was laying almost completely on him. "Get some sleep. Once we get home there is going to be not a lot of sleeping."
"Ok. Goodnight Rob." She said, kissing his chest.
"Goodnight Ands." He said, kissing her head.
