Chapter 10

Blood As Cold As Ice

It didn't take long for Kent to turn on Crowe, explaining that Crowe was the mastermind behind the whole murders of female BCU college students' that was blonde hair, blue eyes, around 5" 2' height, and athletic built. Similar to the way Detective Sam Carter was built. The silver badge was the represent a cop, the carving the letters and numbers into the left hand was because Sam shoots left handed and it was injured. The date was the day that her parents were mugged and murdered. That Crowe blamed her for not getting credit for the big drug cartel bust, he hated her and he wanted to frame her for the murders.

FLASHBACK

Crowe and Kent was sitting at the bar of the of their mutual friend's Rick Muffer "The Greezy Pickle". Both men had a hatred Sam Carter and Jane Rizzoli, especially Crowe, blaming both of them for him never advancing in the ranks of BPD. He had been harassing both of them for years. Crowe speaking "Kent your idea of using blood to make bullets, making it harder to solve, because it melt fast. We need to find someone to help find the next few victims. Wait, look over there I think I just found the right man for the job. Tommy Rizzoli, he was part of the gang that mugged and murdered Carter's parents, this is perfect." "Crowe, I know who he is, my brother was part of the gang and his cell mate, and was killed in prison. Tommy Rizzoli was the only one not arrested for his involvement, but later was arrested for DUI and running over that priest." says Kent. They approached Tommy making him an offer he couldn't refused. Explaining what his job involved, and he was very eager to accept. Crowe reminded Tommy that he knew his part in the case that involved Carter's parents. He would scout out the next victim's slip something in their food or drink, text Crowe and Kent, in return he makes an extra $500 cash for each girl and Crowe and Kent promised him to convince Jane to give him another chance, also to help get Maura to go out with him and if didn't help his mother Angela would be seriously injured. Tommy being the desperate man he was agreed, not knowing that neither man wasn't able to deliver on helping with Jane and Maura.

END OF FLASHBACK

Standing in the observation room looking and listening to Kent tell Korsak and Frost everything, Jane, Maura and Sam was shocked. Next they watched as Darrin Crowe was brought into the interrogation room, he had refuse to speak to anyone in the beginning, but now armed with Kent's confession, it was time for Booth to show him the video of Kent's confession, the bodies being dumped, videos from Kent stealing blood from the morgue, the text messages, and phones calls. Crowe sat there with his mouth wide open looking like a fish grasping for air, and shocked. As the door opened, Detective Jane Rizzoli stepped in and shut the door behind her. Her face showed no emotions, as she took a seat across from Crowe, she just steered at him, as he was starting to sweat profusely. The silence lasted a few minutes with Crowe finally speaking confessing to everything, explaining that he blamed Sam, as well as Jane for getting passed over for several promotions. He told Jane about Tommy's involvement in the Carter case, that he was the shooter who got away, it was part of his initiation into the gang. He also explained that at the time of the bust, instead of having Sam's back, he was having sex with his CI that was suppose to be giving him inside information to the drug/gang cartel. Later he found out that she was the gang leader old lady, and she was taking all the information back to her boyfriend, including that Sam was a cop. That Sam got credit for the bust instead of him, because she slept her way to the too just like Jane. On the other side of the two way mirror, stood a shocked Cavanaugh, Sam, Korsak, Maura and Frost. The sound of chairs and a table being moved around as Crowe lurched forward trying to hit Jane, and the sound of the cracking of Crowe's nose as Jane lands a punch to his face. Grabbing him by his collar she leans in and whispered to him, "I know someone who would LOVE to talk to you about all of this." Crowe says who, "that Bitch who stole my case?" Jane says "no, her Uncle." Crowe says " who, that jackass Cavanaugh?" Jane says, "no her other Uncle." Crowe says "what other Uncle." Jane says, " her Dad's brother, Paddy Doyle." Jane turns and walks out the room leaving a Crowe, shocked.

Maura is waiting for Jane outside the room after hearing Crowe's confession, she knows that her wife needs her and also that her wife's already injured hand needs attending to. Knowing that Booth, Sweets and Aubrey are questioning Tommy, she has had enough drama for the day. As they approached Jane's desk, they gather up her stuff so they can head down to the morgue to retrieve Maura's stuff and head home for the evening. As she is turning around she is slapped across the face by a very furious Angela Rizzoli screaming "this is all your fault, you put to much pressure on your baby brother, you know he is fragile, but you constantly have to take what is his, you could not let him marry Maura, because you are a poor excuse of a human being, and a jealous piece of shit, I wish I would of let your father killed you, instead of letting you live. He is a good boy, but you can't let him be happy. I hate you, you are dead to me, you freak." Jane slaps Angela across the face, saying "You always blame me for everything thise two boys do, it is my fault Frankie is s cop, it is my fault Tommy drinks and ran over a priest, it is my fault Pop left, it is my fault the sun don't shine. Well Angela, I got news for you it is not my fucking fault for any of that. Pop left because of you and your nagging ass, Frankie is a grown ass man, Tommy is the way he is because of YOU, he is also a grown ass man, you and him have a delusional idea that Maura was his girlfriend, but she has no desire to even know him. Maura and I have been in a relationship for over a year now, she is my wife and the mother of my child. So get your head out of your ass, stop metalling in every else's business and mind your own dam business. If I am dead to you then you are dead to me, and you broke the restraining order, and assault an officer, so now Frost and Sam can take it from here, by arresting you. Oh just one more thing you need to know, Angela your precious baby boy, mugged and murdered Sam's parents and also was involved in the murders of 3 women, you must be so proud of him, now stay the FUCK OUT OF MY LIFE." Grabbing Maura's hand they walk to the elevators, leaving a stunned Angela Rizzoli. Tommy confessed after seeing and hearing all the evidence against him. He told Booth, Sweets, and Aubrey that he could live better in prison that on the outside, that his mother kept pressuring him to br something he wasn't, he grow up hating Jane because everything she did she succeeded in it. Frankie would never be able to achieve what Jane had, he was a pussy. He asked to be taken to his cell. The case was wrapped up, the DA was beyond impressed with all the evidence. It also provided the closure needed for Detective Sam Carter, and Lt. Sean Cavanaugh.

On Thrusday night everyone was at the Dirty Robber to celebrate the end of the case, including Booth, Brennan, Hodgins, Angela M., Sweets, Aubrey and the rest of the crew. Frost and Sam announced that they have been dating and were moving in together. Frankie and Nina announced they were also dating and moving in together. Everyone was happy for both couples, hugging and congratulating them. After ordering their food and drinks, some played darts and pool, some were dancing, while others just sat and talked. It was also Karaoke night at the Dirty Robber, so everyone signed up for it. They all was ready to relax and have fun, and needed it.
