MarioFan88: Because that really wasn't the final chapter. That was something I did quickly which was lackluster at best.
Tristen: Glad you like it.
nightmaster000: More will come soon.
Aftermath Part 2
Bobby jr and Reina
The situation sucked for the twins. First, their mother was sent to jail, then their stepfather or in this case, Reina's biological father, wanted nothing to do with her and her brother, now their grandmother had given them to Bobby jr biological father, Lincoln.
Both Bobby Jr and Renia express wholeheartedly that they would rather live on the streets, or in some third world country than to stay with the man who tried to make their life missable for them and their mother. Their uncle Bobby couldn't take them on the count that he and his wife were busy dealing with the matter of their honeymoon which was coming up.
Lori lost any and all contact with her family.
Leni and Chaz were busy getting Lola started with her modeling career.
Lana and Skippy had their auto business, tho stress that she wasn't going to be responsible for a pair of twins from a woman who made Lincoln's life a living hell.
Luan and Luna were the same, and couldn't take care of the twins, granted they moved around a lot because of their choice in careers.
Lynn jr was going to a family counsel with her son to work out some issues.
Lisa was going to turn them into guinea pigs for her experiments, which was out of the question.
Lucy didn't have the money to afford therapy sessions giving how she would most likely traumatize the twins, giving her nature to scared people, plus she didn't think her boyfriend wouldn't appreciate fathering a pair of spoil brats that belong to her brother, and the bitch of the ex he walked out on.
And Lily was busy enrolling in the college where her brother went to for his art degree.
Maria, Lincoln, and Jordan thought that they were being dramatic and agreed to take them regardless. With the money the two were making, Lincoln and Jordan could take care of not only Serenity but Bobby Jr, and Reina as well, but promise to let them see their mother once every month.
And from day one the twins raised hell.
They would talk back to Lincoln and Jordan, disobey the two, mock and throw away Lincoln's and Jordan's cooking, not do any of the chores, and finally use some colorful language around Serenity. Having enough both Lincoln and Jordan did the thing Ronnie Anne failed to do.
Act like a parent and discipline the kids.
With Jordan, she washed both the twins' mouths out with soap for saying such filthy words around Serenity, made them clean the house, and forbade them from watching t.v or playing any toys or video games.
With Lincoln, he made them change Serenity diapers, and forbade them from going outside to play, and even pulled out a belt on them. Sadly this didn't work until Jordan pulled out a slipper which the twins were massively scared of. Lincoln then explained the reasoning behind this, the one time Ronnie Anne ever disciplined her kids was at C.j's birthday party, where they misbehaved and embarrassed her in front of her family, so she took off her slipper and proceeded to spank Reina, then Bobby jr.
This gave Jordan a sinister idea.
A week went by and the twins were up to their mischievous ways again. Without Ronnie Anne acting like mama bear, the twins got their daily dose of beating from la chancla from Jordan for misbehaving as well as their daily punishment.
The twins would have dinner, but not what Lincoln or Jordan cooked since both Bobby and Renia would mock and throw away anything the grown-ups cooked, they would have cereal with cold milk, for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Not the medium-rare cooked steak he made for himself and his wife, as well as a chocolate cake he made.
No, they said that not even rats would eat that failed piece of meat, and the cake looked like someone had made it out of mud then covered it with a dog's excrement in the frosting.
Not the hamburgers and french fries he made for lunch one Saturday for him and the kids.
They said that the meat was horrible and that it should be contained in a bio bag, and study for any biohazards. And throughout lunch, the only thing the twins had were week old stall corn chips.
Not the pancakes he made, saying that Ronnie Anne makes better pancakes then him.
Instead of cereal, Lincoln brought them a store brand of oatmeal and gave it to them. And happily ate the meal he prepared for himself and his wife.
Finally, instead of cooking, Lincoln ordered take out instead.
Chinese take out.
Feeling sorry for the kids, Lincoln decided to let the twins decide. Bobby wanted Kung Pao Chicken with extra chili peppers, while Reina wanted boneless spare rib tips, and both Jordan and Lincoln will share the lo mein combo.
Both parents look on in shock as Bobby jr just ate the spicy chicken casually. Yes his cheeks did become red, and he was sweating from the heat, but he didn't mind, in fact Lincoln remembered that his son had a thing for spicy things.
Meanwhile, Reina just ate her spare ribs, while Serenity just giggled, watching her sibling and parents?
"What?" The half Hispanic asked a bit rudely and with a bit of nervousness in his tone, scared he did something wrong again.
"Nothing Bobby...just forget how much you like spicy things," Lincoln said, taking a bite of his lo mein noodle.
"Um yea...sure?" Bobby replied while boredly eating his chicken, left hand in the pocket of his red sweater. Jordan and Lincoln looked at each other, then back at Bobby.
"You know, your Aunt Lynn loves to eat spicy things as well. I think she even made her very own hot sauce." This seems to gain his son attention. Tho it wasn't something he would like to remember. "Yea...I was her taste tester...I couldn't taste anything for a month. And I think I chug like two gallons of milk after that." The white-hair man chuckled a bit at the memory.
"Does...does she have more?" Bobby asked with his interest peaked.
"Not after your grandpa used it on some of his dishes and almost caused a fire because said customer set a table on fire."
"Did he really set abuelo restaurant on fire?" Ask now an interested Reina.
"Yea...it was really bad, in a funny way." The white hair man said chuckling. He then retails the story of how during his middle school years Lynn had created one of the hottest and intense hot sauces the world had ever seen.
She called Lynn Sauce.
It was over a pound of Carolina Reapers, ten Pot Douglah, a cup of Ghost Pepper extract, 15 dried Arbol chiles, 2 large carrots (5-1/2 ounces), peeled, halved lengthwise and quartered, 1 large sweet onion (15 ounces), cut into eight wedges, 8 garlic cloves, 1 cup water 3/4 cup high-quality white vinegar (minimum 5% acetic acid), 1/2 cup fresh lime juice, 3 teaspoons salt, And 1 teaspoon coarsely ground pepper. She then grinds it until it was a liquid, places it into a jar, and covers it.
Lynn needed a test taster, at the time, Leni was at work, which still to this day Lynn jr wonder how the manager of that clothing store her older sister works for still has her employ? Luna was off somewhere with her band, ether getting high or overdosing on some painkillers, Luan was at a comedy show with her boyfriend, Lola was at a beauty pageant, Lana was with friends, Lucy was with her goth club, Lisa was in her room doing something science-related, and Lily was with the rants who was also with Lola. That just left the only boy in the Loud family.
Like the last time, Lynn threatened him with a wooden baseball bat, this time, it was a metal baseball bat. Reluctantly he agreed seeing there was no hope in getting out of this. Lynn suddenly pushed him into the kitchen and made him take a small sip of it, the result was disastrous. The white-haired preteen was panting, his face beat red, and he was sweating profusely, it felt like he was dying, and Lynn being the jerk she was rolled on the ground, laughing.
He couldn't taste anything, let along feel his tongue.
Lincoln wanted to tell his parents what happened to him, but they wouldn't listen, nor believe him, so there was no point, and to make matters worse, Lori had set up a double date with Ronnie Anne at the patriarch's restaurant.
He told Lori he couldn't make it on the account he couldn't feel his tongue due to Lynn hot sauce. Lori scuffs it off, and threatens to turn him into a human pretzel if he doesn't show up. Also Lynn senior dropped him off and was going to be cooking the food. Not having a choice he went on the date. It was him, Lori, and Bobby, and Ronnie Anne surprisingly.
"Needless to say, neither me nor your mother wasn't interested in each other, and your aunt and uncle couldn't care less."
During the time Lynn senior grabbed Lynn jr hot sauce thinking it was the hot sauce he brought from the store. The father of 11 cooked several dishes, one was spaghetti and meatballs for his daughter and her date, a burger and fries for his son, and country fried steak chicken for his date.
Lynn senior also made a couple of hot wings for one of the customers. When the order came up and the man who was in his mid 20s took a bite from the wings, he began to scream in pain, asking for water or milk, all the while spewing fire with each word, sadly he set one of the wooden tables on fire, which cause the smoke alarm to go off and the sprinkler system Lisa installed went off soaking everyone in the restaurant.
"And as funny as it was seeing Lori's and Bobby's date ruin. Grandpa Lynn was recommended by Lori for ruining the double date, then me for him taking Aunt Lynn's hot sauce. After that, he forbade Leni for some reason, Lynn and me from cooking in the kitchen."
"Woah!" The twin said in awe but kinda felt sorry for the white hair man and their mother.
"Wait, if you and mom didn't like each other then why were you two together anyway?" Renia asked, now curious. She and Bobby had asked why she hated Lincoln? She just told him that he was a loser with no future whatsoever.
"Well...like how you kids are scared of la chancla, your aunt would have turned me and the rest of your aunts into a human pretzel if we didn't obey. And well I kind of hurt your mom's feelings when I was your age, but older."
"Oh." Both twins said.
"So what mom said you were kicked out because you being bad luck was true as well?" Both parents wince at the mention of Lincoln being bad luck. Everything seemed to be quiet, even Serenity being a baby was quiet seeing her father's mood.
"Lets...um, move on with something else." Jordan said suddenly, wanting to change the mood. "I um...hear your father is making a new comic. What's it about honey?"
"Oh um...that. It's about Ace Savvy passing on the torch to the new full house gang, then a well-known bounty hunter finds a very high-value target but turns out to be a child, and agrees to protect her, but the whole galaxy wants her dead because of the power she has."
"Galaxy Hunt." Bobby said in amazement.
"Wait you're also doing, The Deck?" Reina asked with the man nodding.
The two nodded, then squealed in delight. "Oh my gosh oh my gosh."
"I take it you kids like Lincoln's work?" Jordan asks with a snicker.
"We didn't know. You kind of make stuff that wasn't interesting."
"I like the Cosmic Rangers." Bobby spoke after finishing the last of his chicken.
"Right, you know mom didn't want you to watch that." Reina said only to cover her mouth.
"What?" Lincoln asked with a raised brow.
"Nothing." Reina said, shaking her head. Lincoln wasn't a fool, he had heard lie after lie his older sisters, mostly Lori and Lola spewing false accusations, and other stuff.
"Reina Bean Loud." Lincoln began making the girl wince at the mention of her full name, even though she wasn't really her father by blood. "If you tell me why then I'll unground you and your brother?" Reina pause and consider this. She could tell him and free herself and her brother from what she called it In-house-suspension.
"Fine...Mom said your shows were a bad influence on us, so we...kept clear on the stuff you make, but me and Bobby kept some of the comics and hid them when mom cleaned our room."
"So you're telling us that Ronnie Anne couches you on not liking your father's work?" Jordan questions with a raised brow.
"Pretty much and he's not my dad." Reina spoke matter-of-factly.
"Yea...um mom always told us to insult your food even though some of it is tasty." Bobby said, lowering his head slightly.
"Um...kids um go upstairs, and I'll be sure to bring your games after dinner. Oh, and take Serenity with you."
"Sure." Bobby said, picking up his baby sister from her high chair and walked upstairs following behind his twin.
Once the kids were out of earshot, Jordan slammed her hands on the table, making her husband jump. "The crazy Mexican bitch!" Jordan yells. "It wasn't enough to make your life a living hell but to couch her kids to hate you as well. When I see her, I'll make sure to shove my fist far down her throat so that she'll be shitting fingernails!"
"Yea...I won't stop you tho." Lincoln sighed, knowing the exact reason why his children, well more or less Bobby jr and his sister hated him. "But still it would be good to let them see their mother every month."
"You sure honey?"
"I'm sure, even tho I do not want to have Ronnie Anne near the kids after what they told us." Lincoln said with a sighed. He then began to gather the plates only to feel a hand on top of his. He then smiles and looked over at Jordan.
"If you think it's the best for Bobby jr and Renia, just so you know that I'll support you." Jordan sighed then kissed her husband on the cheek. "I'll take care of the dishes, you just give the twins their stuff back." Lincoln just nodded and went off to gather the twins' things.
A month went by for the twins and it had been a very interesting week for them. First Bobby and Renia find out that Lincoln made them into comic book characters. Granted they started out as villains but end up being the good guys. Next was that Lincoln had cooked their favorite dishes. For Bobby, it was a Mexican Pork Shoulder Stew with added pepper flakes to make it even spicier, for Renia it was spring rolls. Instead of throwing away the plate or bowl, (And if they did, there would be eating store-brand cereal for the next month) the twins cleaned their plate and even asked for more.
It was also time for them to meet their mother as for the request of their grandmother. The family of five went to the prison where Ronnie Anne was being held. Actually, Jordan left Serenity with Rita and Lynn senior, mostly to let her know her grandparents on her father's side.
After getting checked per security procedure and telling one of the guards the prisoner the family was visiting, Lincoln Jordan and the twins went over to the visiting area, where they saw other prisoners being visited by loved ones, some giving hugs, and some crying in regret. Finding a seat in the middle of the area, Jordan and Lincoln as well as the twins waited. After a few minutes, a slender but fit female prison guard enters the area with the Hispanic woman wearing a tacky brown jumpsuit. Her hair tied in a ponytail.
Upon seeing the woman, both Bobby and Reina ran up and hugged her waist who in return hugged them back. "Bobby, Reina, how I miss both of mis hijas." Ronnie Anne softly spoke giving both of them a kiss on the cheek. Her eyes then met with Lincoln's and the woman who he ran off with. Ronnie Anne wanted to call him bitch, wuss, or sissy but her kids were present. "Losers." She said dryly.
"Clog." Both said as dryly as her, tho to be fair they wanted to call her something worse but couldn't since the twins were around.
"And how have mis bebés been? Hope...ese cobarde de hombre been taking care of you two?" Ronnie Anne said in a hiss, not wanting Bobby's father to take care of him. Both twins nodded to the question.
"Dad has been taking really good care of us." Bobby said smiling.
"Yeah, we're even characters in his new comic book 'Ace Savvy and The Deck', We started out as bad guys then turned to good guys." Reina smiled and adjusted her glasses. "I'm The Spider. I go around in the night, tying bad guys in my unbreakable web."
"Yeah, and I'm Freecell. I use martial arts skills and copy the powers of others." Bobby said excitedly. Ronnie Anne smiled then eyed her ex-husband who also smiled, but deep down, she knew what he was up to. He was trying to turn her own kids against her.
"Is that so?" Ronnie Anne asked, but in her tone, both Lincoln and Jordan could hear the anger slowly building up.
"Yeah, dad even cooked us our favorites, and it was really tasty." Bobby happily said with his twin sister nodding. "But he sucks at some fighting games."
"Dad still beat you Bobby." Reina argued with her brother.
"Wait...dad?" Ronnie Anne asked with a raised brow, knowing full well that Lincoln wasn't her real father.
"Yeah...um dad is really kind and lets me cook. We even baked some cookies, but we forgot them over at Abuelo's house." Reina said sadly. "Kinda sad on how we treated him."
"Really? Well, next time bring me some, I want to taste them."
"Kay mom."
"Hey kids um, do either of you need to tinkle?" Jordan asked, smiling.
"I don't have to use the bathroom." Bobby said only to be hit on the side by his twin, knowing full well that Lincoln wanted to speak to his ex-wife. "Ok." And with that Jordan took the kids and asked where the bathroom was, leaving her husband alone with his ex.
Once the kids were gone, that smile turns into an angry frown. "What the hell have you done to my kids Lame-o?"
"What I did to my kids is act like a real parent, something you failed to do." The white hair man said in anger.
"Oh, by showing them those crappy comics, and the artwork you make?" Ronnie Anne snicker.
"You know what I mean you troll. At least I'm not coaching them on to hate a person, especially their father."
"You are not Reina's dad, you two-timing loser."
"I know I'm not her dad, that doesn't mean I can't step up and be a father to Reina as well as Bobby." Lincoln said, raising his voice. "How is her father by the way? oh wait, he dumped your sorry ass for another woman once I proved to the whole country that he was unfaithful to you like you were to me. And to add insult to injury, he didn't even want to take in Reina when you were arrested."
"Then why are you here lame-o? To rub it in my face that you're a better parent than me, you useless space of a wuss." It was Ronnie Anne's turn to raise her voice. The whole area was as silent as one of Lucy's depression poetry cafes on open-mike-night. "Or was it because of my mom?"
"No, I didn't come here to rub my parenting skills in your face. I came because your mother asked me too, I was even reluctant to even let your kids see you. You are the worst woman I ever met, and this coming from a guy who lives with 11 other girls for all of his childhood. You're rude, selfish, and just plain annoying, I wish I had Lori turn me into a human pretzel, that way I wouldn't have to deal with trying to build a relationship with a troll like you. And the only real reason I came was that those kids...my son...my daughter loves you, but I guess the consent of love doesn't exist in your world if you're coaching them to hate others." Once Lincoln was done, he looked around, nobody was talking, nor making any sound.
Other than one of the guards who was standing in the corner, munching on a bag of popcorn, I want to stare at the two, waiting to see what happens next.
And what happened next made even the prisoners aww.
Jordan, Bobby jr, and Renia return from the bathroom only to hear the man who wanted nothing to do with them, especially his daughter.
Chandler.
After Lincoln declared that Reina was his daughter, the six-year-old girl ran up to the two, and hugged the white hair man waist tightly, tears rolling down her eyes. He knew Chandler didn't love them or show interest in their hobbies.
Lincoln was a different case.
He had shown them love.
He brought and showed his son how to build a space station in a glass, and even gave him the 600 piece starcraft spaceship he had when he was a child.
He taught Renia how to bake.
Granted she left them with her 'Grandfather' Lynn senior, the white-haired man tasted the cookies, and held himself back from eating the tray they lay on.
It was that good.
He as well as Jordan play video games together with the twins.
And they even played with Serenity.
Needless to say, Lincoln wrapped his arms around Reina and picked her up.
"I'm sorry you have to hear that princess...you want some ice-cream on the way back?" Lincoln asked with the girl nodding, seeing how that ice-cream worked with Lola and Lana, it would work on Reina. This also means he had to give some to his son, but Lincoln didn't mind, Bobby jr earned it anyway.
"Da-Da-Dad...do you hate...us?"
"No I will never hate you, nor Bobby."
"He's right, during the time he was away from you two, he kept saying he missed both of his kids." Jordan said patting the little girl on the head. Ronnie Anne just stared at the family. A tear built up and rolled down her cheek, seeing the man she hated, hugging her daughter, and treating her like she was one of his own.
The only other male in Ronnie Anne's life beside Bobby was her uncle Carlos, and her grandfather Hector. Tho as much as she didn't want Lincoln to care for the twins, she pretty much didn't have a choice.
"Take care of mis hijas Lame-O."
"We would have even if you didn't approve." Jordan said, placing a hand on Bobby jr's head.
Ronnie Anne just sighed."I still don't, but...they do need a father and you're the only one who is willing to take them in."
The visit went on for a couple of hours until it was time for them to leave. The twins each hugged their mother and kissed her on the cheek, before walking off with Lincoln and Jordan.
'Maybe...maybe he is a good father for them.'
I do belive this will be the second to last part to this story. Now that I think about it, I should do Lynn jr, Lola, and Lisa. Meh I might combine them into the final chapter, whose knows. Anyway I hope you enjoy the chapter.
