Part 11

Caitlin smiled when Barry walled into her room.

"How did it go?" asked Caitlin

"Well I know for a fact that if I break your heart I better not show up in this city. Detective Lance will let Oliver and your stepfather get away with whatever they want to do to me."

"They just want to protect me. But I know that you won't break my heart. You love me too much to do that."

"Of course not. Only a fool would break your heart."

"Barry do you want to know one thing I really like about this house?"

"What is that?"

"The walls are really thick."

"Now my dear Dr. Snow how do you know this?"

"Do you really think that Detective Lance would have not blown a gasket if he caught Oliver having sex with Laurel in his house? Laurel isn't the only girl Oliver has slept with. But once they got together he was nothing but loyal to her."

"Well seeing as he has a kid with Laurel, I kind of figured they had sex."

"Barry, I understand if you are uncomfortable with the idea of us having sex with my parents down the hall. But I promise you that no one can hear anything."

"What would your sister think of the fact you and I are having sex?"

"Thea? Please I would be surprised if she hasn't had sex herself. In fact she was convinced that we were sleeping together when I came back to see Oliver when he came home."

"You didn't correct her?"

"Why bother? I knew the truth. Besides I seem to recall when I got back to Central City we did start to sleep together. Barry, I love you. Until I met you I never thought that I would ever love anyone like I do you. You took a scared broken woman and helped her heal. Helped me to love. Maybe for the first time in my life."

"Cait, you weren't as broken as you think. Maybe a bit cracked. But not fully broken."

"Barry how can you look at everything so positively after everything that has happened? I don't think I could ever be that positive."

"Cait, I know this about you. It doesn't change how I feel about you. I love you."

"I love you too Barry."

Oliver arrived at his bunker to find Diggle and Felicity waiting for him.

"How did dinner with the family go?" asked Diggle

"Fine. I just don't see what Caitlin sees in that geek. Besides he is a bit crazy."

"Oliver, I don't know Caitlin. I mean I met her once or twice when she came by Queen Consolidated when she has been in town. But she doesn't strike me as someone who would waste her time on someone that was dangerous." Said Felicity

"She's not. She only went on two dates that I know of in college." Said Oliver

"None in high school?" asked Diggle

"She started high school at thirteen and graduated at sixteen. Caitlin is a genius." Said Oliver

"Ok." Said Diggle

"Is there anything going on tonight?"

"City is pretty quiet. Just the normal stuff. Muggings, drug dealers selling their junk." Said Felicity

Oliver nodded and suited up. He then headed out to clean up the streets of the lowlifes bringing the city down.

Harrison Wells walked through the dark halls of Star labs. In less then two months his plans would come together. He would take the first step in being able to return to his own time. He would do what needs to be done to make Barry Allen the Flash. The only issue he might have is Caitlin Snow. She was never suppose to be Barry Allen's lover. She was suppose to become one of his most powerful enemies. But as things were looking right now she would not become Killer Frost like she should have like in his timeline. But that changed when Carla Tannhouser married Robert Queen. In the original timeline Robert never learned of Moria's affair with Malcom Merlyn. Robert Queen also should have been on that damn boat and died. Though none of that seemed to be affecting Oliver Queen. Oliver was on his way to becoming the Green Arrow like his destiny had always been. He made his way into his secret room and over to the pedestal in the center of the room. He activated the AI.

"Gideon, show me the future."

"Yes Dr. Wells."

A hologram of a newspaper appeared in front of Harrison Wells. He frowned when he saw the headline. It was not what he wanted to see. He had to find away to stop it. He had to find a way to put things the way he wanted them to go. But nothing so far had gone according to his plans.

"Gideon, is there any reference as to who Barry Allen marries?"

"Barry Allen, marries Dr. Caitlin Snow on May 16th in the year 2015."

"What about Iris West?"

"Iris West marries Edward Thawne on November 10th of 2014. They have three children."

"Thank you Gideon."

Harrison leaves the room with the paper still on display.

Flash, Frost and JLA stop Crisis. Reverse Flash arrested.

The paper was dated 2021.

Caitlin laid in bed next to Barry. It was late but even after the work out she and Barry had she couldn't sleep. She carefully got out of bed pulled on Barry's t-shirt and then her robe. She walked out of her room planning to head to the kitchen to make some tea to see if that would help her sleep. She walked out just as Oliver came in limping.

"Snowy, what are you doing up?" asked Oliver

"Couldn't sleep. I was going to go make some tea. But I am thinking I should check that ankle of yours."

"It's fine."

"Oliver Jonas Queen don't lie to me. I am the only one in this family that knows you weren't really on that island the whole time the last five years."

"Ok fine."

The two of them went into Oliver's room. Caitlin made Oliver sit on his bed. She then examined it.

"So am I going to live doc?"

"Yeah looks like you only twisted it."

"I was pretty sure that was all it was. Besides I already had someone look at it. He had some field medical training from his army days."

"By the way you missed some of that grease paint over your eyes. You might want to look into getting a real mask. I am sure that I could get one made that will not hinder your new found archery skills. By the way you might want to come up with something better than the Hood."

"Do you have any ideas?"

"I kind of like the Green Arrow."

"I will think about it. Come on let's go make that tea. I think Raisa has some of that cookie dough ice cream you like in the freezer."

"Just don't tell Barry. He loves it more then me."

"By the way is that his shirt you have on under your robe?"

"So what if it is? You had several overnight guests in your room before you got together with Laurel. In fact isn't that how you ended up a daddy? At least I make sure that Barry and I are safe."

"Ok I am not one to talk. Just know that I love you and want what is best for you."

"I know that is why I love you big brother."

Oliver wrapped Caitlin in a hug and they went down to raid the kitchen.
