The tranquil and derisive expressions on Abhijeet's face was enraging Kabir sir more. After what had happened, that calm tone was immensely unpredictable. He knew him very well and the fact that his anger was his weakness. No. The anger occupies second place. It was his loved ones. After losing his mother, he was overprotective of his teammates whom he considers as his family. If someone hurts them, they had to face the consequences of their actions.
Kabir sir: (raising his eyebrows, adjusting his hands in his coat pants) Dekhte hain, Aik mahine baad kaun kaun aata hai.
Abhijeet forwarded his hand to pick up the suspension letter from the table. This was not the first time he was getting suspended from cid. He wanted to show what he was feeling at that moment but he knew his sensitivity for his brother was just a weapon for them.
We live in a world where it's easier to pretend that you don't feel and if u dare to show, you become an easy target to be picked on and hurt.
He stormed out of the HQ with the firm and bold steps. Acp sir quietly followed him because he knows that his words will be meaningless at that moment. Abhijeet quietly went to the car and occupies the passenger seat. He flared his hand on his face thinking that he could conceal his emotions to come on his face. Acp sir came to the car and ignited it towards their destination.
As soon as they moved out from the HQ, Dcp Chitrole came to Kabir sir, clapping with a mocking expression on his face. He dragged a chair to himself and sat on it with a thud. Kabir sir raised his eyebrows asking the reason for his attitude.
Dcp sir: (Laughing sarcastically) Wah sir Wah! Kiya saza di ahi aapne. Is se achi saza tu aap de hi nahi sakte the.
Kabir sir: (sitting on his chair) Tu kiya nikal deta usse. Aik sath do do senior officers. Aur un dono ke hisse ka kaam kiya tum kar ke dete?
This made Dcp sir Broke into a cynical laugh.
Dcp sir: (rotating his index finger) Tu aik mahine un dono ke hisse ka kaam kaun kare ga? Aap ne tu wohi kardiya jo who chahta tha.
Kabir sir: (in irritation) Matlab kiya hai tumhara. Saaf saaf bolo.
Dcp sir: (putting his hands on the table, leaning closer to him) Aap ne usse sirf aik mahine ki chutti de di. Ye tu us ke liye asaan ho gaya. Daya ke jo halat hai, yaqeenan who us ke liye bhi hamein chutti ki application deta. Aur aap ne tu usse khud hi chutti de kar us ke liye yeh kaam bhi asan kardiya. Yeh tu usse koi saza lage gi hi nahi.
Kabir sir: (thinking on Dcp sir's point) Tum sahi keh rahe ho. Tu phir kiya karien.
Dcp sir: Us se woh suspension order wapis lein aur usse bureau bulayien. Mein tu kehta hoon ke us se pure mahine overtime karayien. Jab pure din apne bhai se dur rahe ga. Tu usse apni ghalti ka ehsaas hoga. (again, falling on his chair) Aur kaam bhi jaldi hoga.
Kabir sir: (laughing, shaking his head) Tum ne aisi cheezon ke liye bara dimaagh paya hai. In mamloon mein tum se koi nahi jeet sakta.
AT DUO HOUSE
Both Acp sir and Abhijeet went in the house and straight made their way towards Daya's room. They saw Salunkhe sir coat lying on the couch indicating they were home. They found both Salunkhe sir and Dr. Anurag setting necessary equipment's in the room. They both kept staring at that strong man who was there lying like a dry leaf that can fly away with the wind.
Salunkhe sir turned around as he felt another presence in the room.
Salunkhe sir: Arre tum log aa gaye? Mujhe laga time lage ga. (turning towards Abhijeet) aur haan Dr. Anurag ke liye guest room set karwa diya hai. (Abhijeet nods his head in yes) Mein zara Pradyuman se kuch baat kar loon. (turning towards Dr. Anurag) Aaiye mein aap ko aap ka kamra dikha doon.
Abhijeet with shaking steps move towards Daya. He sat on the floor beside him and finally allowed his tears to race down on his face. Even though Daya couldn't clean his tears like he always does but somewhere his presence was consoling him. There were only a few people in front of whom, Abhijeet allows his tears to fall.
How could he cry? After all, he is a man and a man has no emotions. His heart is made up of stone. He can't feel anything. If he cries, then he is a stain on the strong nature of man. Tears don't show that you are weak. But they show that how brave you are facing the same situation again and again that finally made you cry. Even if you slap a child, He will not cry in the first one.
Abhijeet grabbed Daya's hand patting it and starts talking to him like he always did whenever he was sad.
Abhijeet: Tumhein pata hai aaj mujhe meri itne saal ki imandari ka inaam mila. Lekin mein khush hoon. Kyunke mujhe tumhari dekh bhaal karne ke liye time mil gaya. Ab mein tumhare sath hoon. Aur aik minute ke liye bhi tumhein akela nahi chodun ga. (looking towards his face) Doctor ne kaha tha ke tum sab kuch sun sakte ho. Main tum se wada karta hon. Jis ne bhi tumhein is haal tak phaunchaya hai. Usse main aisi saza dun ga ke naut bhi us ke aage asan lage gi. (he clears the tears running on his face).
His trance was broken with the sound of his mobile ringtone. He looked at the caller id and decline it. Within the minute, the phone rang again and repeats the same thing.
ON THE OTHER SIDE
Kabir sir: (chattering his teeth) Tum apne aap ko bara kuch samajhte ho na. Ab dekhu mein kiya karta hoon.
