Pokemon Lyric Collection: Gens 2-5 plus Anime

Another collection of Pokemon-based lyrics, this time moving beyond the original generation of games to encompass the wider franchise. As before, new songs will be added at regular intervals until the collection is marked as 'Complete'.

11. 10 - Floroma Town (DPPt)

STORY/ SCENARIO: Enveloped in spring heat and floral fragrance, a man surrenders himself completely to the tranquility of his surroundings.

VARIATIONS: This piece has been altered so severely that it arguably bears little resemblance to the original.
- In bar 2 of the main melody, a single syllable (airs) occupies the first two crotchets of the bar. The same occurs in bar 6 (cares).
- In bars 12-15 (-vents/ Mark the merry month of May), the melody in D/P/Pt is replaced by three crotchets, minim, crotchet, minim, crotchet, dotted minim - notes C, D, E, G, F, E, D, C - all sharps.
- Bars 16-18 are harp instrumental, and then the melody restarts with verse 2. The whole piece from bar 19 onwards is deleted.
