The next morning, everyone was in place around the old capital.
"Is everyone ready?" asked David into a radio.
"Ready," said the girls as they all stood in one of the four main directions. Suddenly, all four cast a spell called Black Hole that started to absorb masma up into the sky..
"Whoa," said Itami as the demons came into view. Some were floating eyeballs, and some were four eyed minotaurs with red skin. There were even a few that looked like humans but with black horns, tattered wings, and tails.
"The air strike will start once all of the masma is gone, until then we are to protect the spell casters," said Yanagida into his radio.
"Good thing you taught me to shoot," said Delilah as she held a large gun which was aimed right at the demons. Everyone then started to open fire on the demons who just stood there taking it, not a single one so much as flinching.
"Nothing phases them," said Kurokawa.
"Of course, if this was a game then we would need holy or light weapons, they're the only things that can hurt a demon," said Kurata as he smacked himself in the forehead.
"Hardy, can you enchant that onto our weapons?" asked Itami.
"I can, but it will take some time, light spells aren't my specialty after all," said Hardy.
"Do what you can," said Itami before calling Yanagida and explaining to him.
"Until Hardy's spell is finished, don't fire at the enemy, we need to save our ammo," said Yanagida.
"That might be an issue," said a soldier as he noticed the demons forming two lines.
"What foolish mortals," said a man with large horns and goat legs as he walked between the lines of demons.
"The big boss just showed up," said a worried Itami.
