Static watched his lover, and her husband, as they spoke to one another muted to him due to his back glass door being closed. Things seemed to quickly become tense emotionally between the married couple as they pushed through their conversation. The conversation didn't even last five minutes, and ended with Shadow sulking off through the backyard. Sandy watched him for a moment as she started to cry before turning and gripping the railing as she wept. Static gave her a minute before walking outside to join her.

"You alright?" He asked while wrapping his arm around her waist and pulling her close to him. He took note of how she made an effort to look away and hide her torment.

"I don't know." She finally managed before pushing away from him and going back into the house to look over her sleeping children.

Static followed close behind her, but now kept a bit of a distance. "What did he say?" His curiosity was truly peaked.

"He forgives me." She tensed up while giving out a slight cry before calming herself down again as she gripped tightly onto her son's playpen.

"He forgives you?!" Static scoffed as he walked up to her side and wrapped his arm around her sulking shoulders. "You have nothing to be sorry for! He's the one that screwed up Sandy!" His tightened his grip on her. "Many times!"

Sandy looked at him a bit annoyed. "I cheated!" She harshly whispered before looking away.

"No you didn't, Sandy!" Static grabbed both of her shouldered and turned her to face him, despite the fact she continued to look away. "He broke up with you two different times the past few days, so what happened between us last night wasn't cheating! It was you moving on!" He took one of his hands and turned her face to finally face his. "You did nothing wrong!" Static hadn't realized that he had been shouting until both children started to stir and fuss.

Both male, and female, squirrel looked at the small babies as they twisted and turned, and both took a sigh of relief when they stayed asleep. Static looked at Sandy apologetically as she looked back at him sadly. "We're still legally married, Static." She whispered in defense of her claim of infidelity.

Static groaned under his breath. "Legally." He shook his head in disbelief. "He's had four years with you to make things work, and now he finally gives a shit?" He hissed under his breath as he now looked away from her frustrated.

"He's my husband." She reminded him.

Static looked back at her not even trying to hide the hurt from his face. "And what was I last night?"

Sandy looked him dead in the eye with regret. "I'm so sorry Static."

Static stared back at her as his heart broke. Was she really giving up on him this fast and all because of that...? He fell to his knees as he continued to look up at her before falling on all fours, and tensing his whole body up. "I just want you to be happy." He barely managed to breath as he realized she was going back to her husband.

To his surprise Sandy leaned down next to him and wrapped both of her arms around his neck. "You make me happy." She kissed his neck and then cheek. "I'm just so scared ya will get sick of us!" She pushed her head into his. "I don't want ta lose you, Static." She stared to cry lightly.

Statics breath picked up in excitement. She rarely cried around him, and she just reassured him she wasn't leaving his side tonight. He looked at her and raised his brow as he regained his composer. "I'm hungry." He whispered to her right before he brushed her lips.

"The pizza should still be warm." She tried to force a giggle.

"Pizza?" Static questioned with a laugh. "I need to have my woman!" He grinned largely before pulling her into him for a kiss and then pinning her down on the carpet below him.

"You seem ta have a one-track mind." Sandy teased as her mood continued to improve.

"Do you not approve?" Static asked before biting her neck, and rubbing his clothed erection against her.

"I need you!" She blurted out far more intently than he would have ever expected after the day's events.

"I'm here to serve." He winked at her before kissing her again and then finally meshing his body with hers.

Each time with her was better than the last; he thought to himself after he finally climaxed. He couldn't help but be filled with happiness. She let him take her again, and… she chose him over Shadow. Hours ago he had been sure this woman was everything he ever wanted, but now he was more than sure of it. She was his Godess, and he couldn't dare to breath without her blessing.

The two squirrels made their way into the master bedroom, pizza box in tow, to cuddle while they consumed their dinner before the twins woke from their evening nap. Sandy smiled as Static sat behind her and she laid against his chest. The male squirrel kept attempting to try to feed her at such an award angle only to have half the toppings from the slice of pizza fall down onto her.

"Yer making a mess!" She laughed as she pushed the food away from her face.

"Don't worry. I'll lick you clean later." He jested as he pushed the pizza back towards her mouth. He smiled and gave out a satisfying hum as she finally agreed to take another bite. "Good girl."

"Shut yer mouth!" She scolded with her mouth full.

"You know that isn't my style." He chuckled while taking a bite of the pizza she had just been eating.

"I noticed. Gotta say I've never heard of a man wanting to hold a conversation during sex." She wiggled into him to find a more comfortable spot as she laid her head between his shoulder and neck.

Static made a hurt groan as he finished chewing his food. "Are you saying you don't like me signing your praises?!" He grabbed his heart and rubbed his face into the top of her head pretending to be heart broken.

"I didn't say that ya goof." She let out a little laugh as she took his hand in hers and placed it over her chest. "I'm just not use ta it, so it's kinda weird ta me."

"Well get ready to be spoiled, babe." He kissed the top of her head. "I'm make sure you never forget how much you mean to me." Static shoved the last of the pizza slice in his mouth and then placed his newly freed hand on her stomach to tickle her.

Sandy jumped and pushed off of him as she laughed due to his touch. "Ya jerk!" She screamed while grabbing a pillow and smacking him with it.

Static grabbed the pillow and pulled it away from her causing her to fall onto him. "I love it when you scream for me!" He teased as he kissed her lips.

She gave into his kiss before pushing away as she started to take in a cry from one of her children residing in the other room. Soon they'd both being wailing, so she knew full well she needed to go tend to them as soon as she could. "Playtimes over, hun." She stated disappointedly before giving him one more quick kiss and leaving him alone in the bed.

Static watched her grab a new pair of clothes from her bag and throw it on. Just when she was about to leave the room, he finally spoke causing her to stop. "Hey." He smiled at her as she looked back questioningly. "I love you."

Sandy smirked a bit in embarrassment, but still walked back to him to give into one more long kiss. "Wanna help me play adult?" She cooed.

"Wasn't that what we were just doing?!" He started to laugh hysterically as she lightly slugged his shoulder. "I'm coming! I'm coming!" He reassured her as she walked off to tend to the needy young children. He continued to lightly laugh to himself as he put new clothing on himself. He was totally thrilled she seemed to get him, and he thought he got her, and the more he considered thing the more he realized he couldn't get enough of her, as he tried to calm himself down as he realized he had found himself ready to love her again.

"Soon." He spoke to himself, but more so to his disobeying male appendage.

"Static, I'm sorry but could you bring me a wet washcloth?" Sandy shouted.

"Coming, babe!" He called back looking down sternly at the bulge in his pants. "We gotta do this right!" He whispered harshly to his body. "It isn't all about sex." Static went into his master bath and wet a small white washcloth and found it brough on a smile. "I have a family now." His body became less tense at the thought. As he walked out to her, he found himself almost lost in a daze of bliss.
