Edward had gone outside, when Bella had come back from school. Bella is looking down, but then she holds her head very high. Edward walks up to her; "hi, how was school today?" He asked her. Bella said; "it could be better, but I'll get through it." Edward remembers River words from earlier, "us outsiders have stuck together." Edward asked; "walk with me?" Bella was in complete shock, "always." Bella goes to put her backpack inside the house. Bella comes back outside and both of them are walking together. Edward and Bella are both walking in complete silence together in the woods. Edward hands are inside his pockets. Edward looks at Bella; then she does the same thing. Edward and Bella both look away from each other at the same time. Bella has a small smile on her face and Edward had a small smile on his face the same time. Both of them are continuing their walk, it's started to lightly rain and then it pour heavy rain. Both Bella and Edward get inside the house. Both are very soaked in their clothes. River tells both of them to go take baths or showers. Bella takes a very hot bath, she gets into her bubble bath. After an hour Bella is wearing a pajamas pants and top. Edward take a quick shower change into a long pajamas pants and shirt. Bella is working on her homework. Edward helped her out with a few problems, on her homework.
Mal comes home from work after a long day at the office. He takes off his coat and his gun belt. He walk over to his wife and wrapped his arms tightly around her waist. Bella watched her dad; kiss her mother cheek. Both of them are just watching as Mal is whispering into River ear about something. Both of them are just laughing with each other. His hands are running up and down her arms. River looks at the two kids; just smiled at them. Mal stepped away from his wife and walked over to the dining table. Mal just watching Bella doing her homework, Edward is sitting right next to her helping her with a few problems. River is finishing up the last of the dinner. River has the dinner about done. She gets out the cup of blood out for Edward. She warm it up for him; she finished up with everything else. Bella puts up all of her homework away. Edward and Mal help setup the table for supper. River gives Edward his two cups of blood, the other three are eating a roasted chicken with potatoes and vegetables and a biscuits. Bella gets all three of them a drink. All four of them are just sitting there at a dinner table. Mal starts to tell everyone about his day. How everything at the station was a messed some days. Edward couldn't help, but smile in a long time at a dinner table. Everyone would just sit around and do whatever they wanted.
After dinner Edward and Bella both decided to do the dishes together. Edward thought it was the least he could do for them. Mal has his arm wrap around his wife shoulder. Both of them are kissing each other deeply and passionately on the lips. River lay her head on her husband shoulder. While the both of them are watching tv together. Edward and Bella have the last of the dishes finished up. Edward and Bella dry off their hands. They go to join her mom and dad in watching tv with them. After watching tv, the others decided it's time for bed. Mal says, "Edward, come with me." Edward followed Mal to the upstairs. Mal shows him a guest bedroom upstairs telling him that he can have it. Edward says; "thank you. Mal, I don't know what to say about any of this." Edward goes over to the bedroom. He touches the bed; he really needed to pay back the family some how. Edward goes to lay on the bed. He has his hands underneath his head. He is staring up at the ceiling and starts to think about the Cullen family all over again. Edward had thought back to all of the times. That everyone had treated him like shit. First there was Carlisle, who thought just because Edward had money he could used it for whatever he wanted to spend it on. Esme she had used his money to buy house's and decorate them whatever she liked. Rosalie was nothing but a broken and wounded girl. But she made sure that everyone was always looking at her. She used the money on car's. Emmett only would pay video games, he would always make fun of Edward for not getting laid. Then last were Jasper and Alice. Jasper always tried to make Alice happy. If you don't agree to something she like; then he force you to like it. Alice was always wasting money on useless clothes and getting rid of them after they only wear them once.
Edward saw that the sun was coming right up. He couldn't go to school because of the sun, everyone would knew that he was different. He was worried about that, when Mal picked his head inside the room. Edward is looking at him; "Edward, we both think it wouldn't be a good idea for both you and Bella to go to school today." Edward smiled in thanks, "thank you." Mal smiled right back at him. "Your welcome." Mal head downstairs to the kitchen. Edward see that Bella is awake too, both of them are just staring at each other. Both of them are looking away from each other. Edward looks back at her; he couldn't hide the smile from his face. Edward and Bella are both walking down for breakfast. Edward and Bella are both taken a seat at the table. Edward goes to sit right in between Bella and Mal. Edward had no clue as to what the future held for him. But he was going to face it head on from here.
