I could stare at your back all day/And I know I've kissed you before but, I didn't do it right/Can I try again try again, try again/
Take another night/Given on the way that you hold/And I know the ways you fold/And I know the way you call/Ima come and get it, come and get it, come and get it a minute/
Krillin was kissing him, small lips pressed against his, the smell of sweet fruity liquor surrounding nose and mouth as an equally small hands held his face. Soft music played around them as Vegeta was on cloud nine when the human finally pulled away.
Fluttering his eyes open, Krillin was met with face of the saiyan when it clicked. Shit, shit, shit! Stammering and growing red with each moment as it sank in, "Fuck, V-Vegeta, I'm so sorry. I should—" The apology is stopped dead when the prince grabbed him by the shoulders and smashed their mouths together.
Time stopped as he kissed back, balling his fists against the saiyan's shirt to stay grounded as Vegeta dove into his mouth. He was swaying as they were standing there but if he were honest, he could care less especially when it was this good, Vegeta kissing him, the state of him making him light-headed.
Vegeta let him go, making him gasp to take in a breath as their heads pressed together, the lights around them seemed to be brighter but that maybe Krillin's mind playing tricks on him. His eyes glanced up at the saiyan who was smiling at him, his heart beating like thunder in his chest as he returned the smile.
The prince chuckled, "Well…I didn't know you could kiss like that; I wonder what else you've been keeping from me Krillin." The man squeaked when he was pulled forward until he hit a strong chest as Vegeta hummed, "And to think I waited, little human, I'll make up for that."
Waited, what did he mean by that—opening his mouth to ask— there was a call that the bar was closing. Saying that people needed to leave, making Krillin sigh. He really didn't want the night to end, hungry for some more time with the saiyan and their kiss wasn't helping him. The need to stay with him was only growing and so was his selfishness, unconsciously placing his head on his shoulder because he didn't want to leave.
He wanted to be with Vegeta.
"Krillin, we should probably leave now, don't you think?" Staring up at the saiyan, a small smile cracking on his face that burned in his mind.

Landing on the grass of Capsule Corps, Krillin was surprised when the saiyan opened the door for him and walked him inside, allowing the human to link their arms together. Something felt off about what was happening, but it didn't feel bad, just off about what Vegeta was doing. His mind wandered to what him and Bulma were doing when he went looking, is that what Vegeta was leading to?
He was led to the door of the kitchen and Vegeta turned to him, "I need to get something from my room, just wait for me in the here and we can talk about everything, alright?" Krillin nodded and the saiyan leaned for a chaste kiss on the lips, Krillin using every bit of self-control to pulled away and let Vegeta walk to his room.
As he walked in, he was surprised to smell heavenly food on the table and Bulma sitting there waiting for him, dressed in her normal baggy attire. When she noticed him, she smiled, "Hey Krillin! How was your night out, must have been good if you kept you out all night." Not wanting to blush he agreed and sat down with her, getting a laugh in return.
"Well go on and tell me, I wanna hear all about it." Of course, she did, the bloodsucker. She was pretty invested to as he went over the night with her, how they talked, watched a play, and shared an ice-cream with one another before finally getting to the bar scene.
She blinked at him, "You took Vegeta to a bar and no one died, I'm shock." Rolling his eyes, he continued up until they started dancing and Bulma had a sparkle in her eyes that made him uneasy. For a quick moment, he thought of lying about the kiss, lips pressed against his as the world became nonexistence and dreaming of—
Heat raised to his face when it became clear that he had dozed off, the narrowed stared of Bulma being his evidence. He cleared his throat, "Sorry, where was I? Oh right, the bar…um—how can I say this." Searching for the right words were hard, it felt like pulling teeth when he said it out loud, but he settled on being blunt.
Taking a deep breath, he smiled sheepishly, "Me and Vegeta kissed and I kissed him, it was so…amazing. I just want to tell him how I feel, how much he means to me, how I've dreamed of doing that since we first went out. He's just…hell I can't even tell you, but I want it, whatever he wants from me and I'll do it. That's so bad isn't it, Vegete will think I'm weird for that huh?" Laughing at himself felt grounded, the dreamy tone so prominent that it was a bit scary.
Bulma smirked and her eyes shifted, "I don't know Krillin, why don't you ask him yourself?" Confused at what she met, he turned around and was met with a sight he didn't know he needed.
Vegeta was standing there, wearing a multi-chrome dress that flowed outward to his feet, the long sleeves cut to reveal muscular arms and a slit in the chest that showed off his pecs and was making the human drool. Golden epaulettes topped off the look and in general, Krillin was liking what he was seeing.
His friend chuckled while he ogled, standing up to walk around the two of them, "Have a nice date you two and you're right Vegeta…that color does work better for you." She commented, patting the saiyan on shoulder as she left, leaving the two men alone.
Once the door closed, it sunk in for Krillin and had him stammering once again, "Wow Vegeta…y-you look really nice." He got smirked at and he walked forward, every step making Krillin's heart beat a minute faster until it was beating harshly against his chest and he was audibly breathing.
Humming at the wonderful red marking his face, Vegeta grabbed at his face, "I'm so glad you like it, I must agree as well, the woman did a great job if I'm being honest. You must really like it if you're this red." As he opened his mouth to defend himself, Vegeta grabbed his hand and pulled him toward the dining table.
He was seated next to the saiyan as the smell of food distracted him from his embrassament, thinking it was best to stuff his face. Thankfully Vegeta allowed him that and they ate in relevant silence with a few pieces of conversation had in between.
"It seems you're have a good time Krillin, especially if you're eating." Vegeta commented while watching the human take actual bites, happy to see him eating well. Over the past few days, noticing how much less he eat was concerning, how little he consumed and would have none of it. Humans need to eat and Krillin was no exception.
Not wanting to be rude with food in his mouth, Krillin nodded in agreement. Honestly, it felt weird to feel hungry since moving in with the Briefs for these short days as he didn't get hungry like a normal person. Usually, a cup of coffee would do, and he'd be fine for the next few days and move on with the day, a bit concerning but he was fine. Though what Vegeta was doing for him, was out of character and genuinely nice.
Swallowing his mouthful, he smiled, "Thanks again Vegeta, this is really kind of you, you didn't have to do this." It was odd to be treated like this and having it be the saiyan giving him the treatment was a pleasant but certainly weird.
Vegeta chuckled but said stayed silent as they eat but Krillin could tell when he was staring at, watching him every so often. His stomach warmed at that—knots forming at each passing glance making him fuller.
He took on last cut of chicken, dropping the fork on decorative plate, "That was a really good, I'm stuffed!" He praised; voice bright with approval that made Vegeta smile as he watched the man wipe his mouth. Turning his head, he noticed something and raised an arm.
Shivers ran down Krillin's spine when a thumb touched his bottom lip, eyes met the saiyan's smoldering one as the thumb wiped back and forth. The stain was gone but not the thumb, tracing over the shape in a slow pace, finally pulling away leaving Krillin in shambles.
His host explained himself, "You had some food on your mouth." Such a simple reply that he hummed, allowing the saiyan to go back to his own meal. So strange to see food being eaten slowly by anyone with saiyan blood, entertained by the thought that Vegeta could anything but fast and in the moment.
"Is something the matter Krillin, you're staring." A bit unfair for him to get caught he thought to himself but said no there wasn't it. He glanced down at an unoccupied hand, slowly letting his own hand lay on top.
Eyes found his and Krillin smiled, "Actually, I'm pretty happy now that you mention it." And he was, happy to be with Vegeta, to have Vegeta be interested in him and excitement raised in him, the unknown never seeming so open.
Vegeta never seemed so open.
Keeping his smile small but his eyes told all, "I was counting on that, Krillin."

Dinner soon ended and the saiyan told that he had one last surprise, leaving the kitchen to somewhere else. Krillin followed without question, a hand pressed against his back while they walked. Slowly it slipped to his hip when they approached one of the various outside balconies that were built by the Briefs.
The night sky twinkled, its beauty on display for the two of them as Krillin leaned on the railing as Vegeta stood next to him. He turned his head to face the saiyan, moonlight reflecting on a sharp face that was making him internally swoon.
Shifting on his feet, he glanced back at the moon, "It's a lovely night isn't it, great view too." Rusting made him look back and noticed the distance between them was shortened and Vegeta now close enough to brush hands.
"Yes, it is but I think I can make it better." As he tried to ask how, Vegeta stepped in front of him, bracing his hands on each side of the railing and making him blink in confusion. "Don't talk, I only need you to listen alright." He snapped his mouth shut, letting Vegeta speak.
He took a deep breath, closing his eyes in the process, then opening them when his thoughts were collected. Staring at Krillin for a moment longer, he spoke, "For the last couple of weeks, things have been shitty since the universe decided I could come back to the living. I am nowhere near being a super saiyan and this ball of green is not a place I would call home, frankly this place feels like hell to me on a good day."
Vegeta then chuckled softly, "Then you came around and we had the most awful night I could imagine, mostly my doing since we're confessing here. I knew we only went out because you were only doing it for Bulma, and I was…dealing with myself. But you did something, you grabbed my hand and unleashed emotions I've never felt and goddess they were repressed. That night, I couldn't sleep for shit, thinking about how this little human was making me unravel because he dared to touch me like that and how I enjoyed it."
Hands left the railing and now were grabbing on Krillin's hips as he continued, "I wanted it go away, these odd and unusual feelings to leave me and I can move on my life but then you moved in for the week. And now I was forced to see you every day and confront this wanting head on and I hated it, which was why when I saw you again, I was a bit rude. After an enlightening conversation with Bulma, I began to accept what was happening, I was developing a crush on you. Suffered from butterflies and thought about whenever it was inappropriate, the whole experience." Another sigh was given and the grip on his hips tighten.
"Then you fell, and I was once again forced to see how good you made me feel and much, I wanted you. This time, I took the opportunity and we out a second time and it was the best night I've had since landing on this rock, only making me fall even harder. And the last couple of days have only made my feelings grow for you, your smile, your laugh just making my want for you never ending. Now you're leaving and I was left scrambling as my chances of telling you were becoming small, thankfully you thought about us going out one last time and I had to do something. So, I did all of this with the help of woman, which was not fun by the way and we came up with this. This would be how I told you."
Rough hands now found his face as Vegeta finished, "I wanted to tell you how much I want you, how I want to be around you every day, spend time with you, lay with you, until I consume every part of you. I want to be with you Krillin and every bit of me hopes you feel the same. So, what do you say?"
Holy hell that was a lot and Krillin lost track when they met the end, but it really didn't matter. Krillin felt the same, had felt it since he first grabbed Vegeta's hand that night and having these emotions mirrored was so good. Vegeta wanted him, not even his fantasies could compare with that confession.
He nodded franticly, trying to speak, "Y-yes, I want that! I want to be with you Vegeta and I also wanna kiss you so much right now. Especially when you look so good in this outfit, not saying you aren't attractive on a daily basis, if I'm being honest. You know, seeing in your training wear use to make me—please shut me before I say something incredibly stupid and make this moment weird." Vegeta captured his lips and he blanked on what life was outside of a warm touch.
It was far longer than at the bar and much more involved as Vegeta explored his mouth and Krillin really didn't have it in him to question anything, digging his fingers into the velvet fabric of the saiyan's outfit. Now leaning against the railing as the saiyan titled, deepening their kiss, and pressing more into Krillin. His hand now tangled in black hair, gasping into the other's mouth when they finally pulled away.
Vegeta laughed when as the human caught his breath, a permanent blush painted on his face while stroking a round cheek, excitement bubbling in the pit of his stomach because Krillin said yes! Hiding in the crook of a small neck, he inhaled the scent of Krillin, little giggles as a response.
"Hey stop that, its tickles—Vegeta!" Squeaking, he squirmed when the saiyan continued for a hot minute, eventually pulling away and being met with pout. Leaning in for a quick kiss made Krillin melt and stop complaining.
Humming, the fighter kept his arms on strong shoulders, "We should probably leave go, it is getting late." Did he really want to, not really but the idea of some staff member finding them was an embarrassing one.
The prince didn't seem to share his thoughts as he was kissed again, slower this time like Vegeta was mapping his lips and mouth. Suddenly any concern was pleasantly foggy, especially when it felt this good. When it ended too soon Krillin unintentionally whined, allowing the saiyan to be smug as he smirked.
"I don't know Krillin, you don't look that concerned with leaving, I'd say staying a bit longer would do no harm. Don't you think?" The human opened his mouth but Vegeta instead pressed their lips together again to hear no complaints.
Thankfully, Krillin had none.

Despite claims that staying just one more minute would be fine, yawning of a human concluded that the night had ended. Hand-in-hand, they went to Vegeta's room—warm silence the only one company besides the two of them.
Once inside, Krillin let go and faced the saiyan, "I'm gonna go change in the bathroom, it'll only take a moment." Vegeta didn't say anything, his eyes following the human until the door closed. Pulling at his outfit, it slinked to the floor and he slinked out of it, walking over to the bed, and sitting down.
Sparks of excitement still fired inside of him because Krillin has said yes, knowing that he was right along when it came to how the human felt about him. And to think that he was right for keeping his feelings a secret from Krillin, it all seemed so foolish now.
A door closing made him turn his head, Krillin now in his shirt from their night out and boxers, thoughts off how he would look without remaining clothes crossed the saiyan's mind but said nothing. Krillin walked, standing in front of him before Vegeta pulled him forward, leaning back until a weight fell on his chest.
They rustled around until Krillin was laying on his side and Vegeta was spooning him, their legs tangled in each other as the saiyan rested his chin on Krillin's shoulder. Turning—they kissed once again, soft, and quick before settling again.
Krillin sighed as he nuzzled himself into softness around him when he heard a chuckle behind him, glancing behind him, a smirking Vegeta met the gaze. "What's wrong?" Vegeta hummed, tightening his hold, and rubbing their faces together making him giggle, batting wandering hands disappearing under his shirt.
"Nothing at all, just glad, that's all." Glad that you are mine now. Burying his face into Krillin's neck once again, taking in his scent for a second time, fully indulging in it now. Little laughs filled in silence while he explored, rubbing all over Krillin's face as his giggles grew louder. The fighter by the end was a blushing mess like from the start.
Exhaling, Vegeta finished with satisfied huff and shifting back into place while being pouted out. Leaning forward, he pecked Krillin on the lips seemed and it was gone, now a soft smile that spread warmth in his chest.
The human yawned again and rubbed his eyes, adorable as always and Vegeta told him as such. Sputtering, Krillin hid his face in the pillow and it took everything within him not to whine more about how he was being treated.
Deciding not to torture him anymore, he pressed the human closer to his chest and told him to rest now, that tomorrow he had to get ready to go back home. Ignoring the dread growing in his chest, Krillin nodded and laid back down. Sleep found him easy as the weight of a dense body curled around him was comforting and peaceful, quiet breathing lulling him to sleep.

Blinding sunlight peaked through the windows, luminating the room in a warm yellow—and Krillin wanted it to go away because he wasn't done sleeping. Dragging a hand to touch his face, groaning because he knew that getting up was inevitable but nevertheless, snuggling into the pleasant heat around him.
Something constricted around his waist making him open his eyes, waiting for his sight to become clearer, he used touch as a guide. Confusion heightened as touch led him to jagged toned skin and noticing the weight on his shoulder before finally looking back. His stomach dipped at the sleeping face of Vegeta, events of last night flashing while a smile stretched on his face.
So, it wasn't a dream. Twisting himself until he faced the saiyan, unconsciously raising a hand to hold Vegeta's face. I can't believe this is happening, we—I kissed you. We're dating, oh god, we're dating! Trying to keep his job at a low simmer, he distracted himself by trailing down the saiyan's face, noticing how much younger the saiyan looked asleep. He wasn't that much older than everyone but relaxed—a nice look on him.
Circling a sharp cheek, flattening over tan skin with his thumb in a rhythmical pace while having the dopiest grin like this was the most entertaining thing in the world. Leaning a bit closer, he gently pressed against his lips, letting a giggle pass when Vegeta sighed as a smile appeared.
"I didn't think you could be so cute, Vegeta, what else have you been hiding from me?" Teasing gently, he sat up on his elbow and stared at the saiyan, letting his hand trace Vegeta's jawline. He didn't know what he was doing but it felt right, what they were doing felt right. "I still can't believe we're dating, god I use to dream of this, kind of sad now that I think of it."
Sighing, he looked down to touch at Vegeta's chest, "That makes me pathetic doesn't it? Dreaming of you kissing and holding me, spending as much time with you I was allowed. Silly, huh?" His hand pressed on a healed mark over that felt familiar to him.
"Now I wouldn't call it silly." Krillin looked up and saw the saiyan awake, his eyes half-lidded but bright. Hot embarrassment shot through him and heat was burning on his face as he shifted under Vegeta's warm gaze. "How much did you hear?" The human asked sheepishly, muttering in his arm.
Chucking quietly, Vegeta raised a hand to grab Krillin's chin, "All of it, I've been awake for a while, but I must say…that was such a sweet kiss you gave me." Wishing the ground will swallow, he didn't meet the saiyan's eyes.
So cute. Leaning down, he pressed their lips together, smiling when Krillin was bright red when they broke apart. Vegeta cooed, "How red can one person get, I'm very curious to find out." God did Krillin have a monster on his hands.
~Stars~
"Hey there, you guys are, I was wondering when you were going to grace me with your presence." Was the greeting Bulma gave them as they walked into the kitchen, scooting over to let them sit with her at the table.
Krillin rubbed his neck, "S-sorry about that Bulma, we got caught up." Well one of them got caught up and he was smirking softly at the ex-monk making Krillin blush even harder. Whispers of that 'we don't need to get up just yet' and 'just another minute and we can leave, I promise' filling his mind.
A few minutes of that turned into way more and Krillin's whining finally let the saiyan know it was time to begrudgingly get up and have breakfast. Thankfully Vegeta has pants for him to wear while the saiyan just wore shorts and nothing else. Bulma being around didn't mean Vegeta was stopping his touching if the hand on his thigh had anything to say about it while the saiyan ate.
Thankfully Bulma was there to distract him, "I can't believe you're leaving; it feels like forever since you moved in. Now I'm stuck with this one." She narrowed her eyes at Vegeta who stared right back because of course they were having a standoff.
She then rolled her eyes, "Well at least I don't have to deal with his crush on you anymore, you should have seen him, he was a fucking mess." She snickered to him, not even noticing the glare she was given by his boyfriend.
Well, it was nice to know he wasn't the only one who was being dumb, and he patted Vegeta's hand to show that it was okay. Vegeta relaxed and continued to eat which made his friend laugh, it was so sickly adorable.
God was Bulma proud of herself.
It was midday now and the ex-monk was supposed to be packing. He had changed into a different outfit too, visualizing the image of someone leaving after a short vacation but his mind was somewhere else. Krillin didn't want to leave, it was a thought that was hammered into his brain for the past day and it was the loudest as he cleaned up the room, he was staying in. There wasn't much—that he knew—but dragging his feet made him stay a bit longer, horrible he knew.
He was quite literally still wiping down the dresser even though it he could see himself in the surface, god this was pathetic.
"You really like talking out loud, don't you?" And Vegeta likes surprising him because the fighter had no idea, he was done with training yet. Looking up, the prince was leaning against the door frame with his arms crossed.
Krillin stared at him, "How long have you've been standing there?" A small smile graced his face, and the younger man ignored the warmth inside of him.
"Since you've been cleaning the dresser." Ah, that long then, not mortifying at all. While he was berating himself, Vegeta lifted himself from the door and walked over to him, standing in front of him. Krillin opened his mouth but squeaked when arms pulled around, squishing him against the saiyan.
The saiyan was warm and his arms were comfortable and Krillin couldn't help but melt, wrapping his arms around a strong waist. Sighing into his chest, the need to stay grew even more, wishing that he didn't have to go back without Vegeta. He shivered when he felt lips against his ear.
"I wish you could stay." He murmured, arms tightening around him and Krillin wanted to stay too. Rubbing his face against Vegeta's chest, a burst of happiness shot through him as a chin rested on his head.
Muffled, Krillin spoke, "I know but I'll come visit, as much as I can. And you can come over to Kame House, just give me a head's up alright? Don't need to give Roshi a heart attack if you decided to pop up." The saiyan huffed a laugh and agreed.
"Fine, you really love taking away my fun." Rolling his eyes up at the saiyan, they finally let go of each other making him yearn for another touch. Vegeta grabbed his bag and reached for his hand, "Let me walk you."
Krillin smiled, "I would love that."
Their walk was silent while hand and hand, enjoying the last few minutes they had together before they made it to the front door. Slipping away from each other has never been so hard for Krillin as he took his bag from the saiyan, taking a deep sigh.
Turning to Vegeta, he had a soft look on his face, "Well I guess this is it, I'm actually leaving." Laughing awkwardly, he pulled at the red jacket he was given, looking down at the floor. Sounds of steps made him look up as Vegeta grabbed at his face and kissed him.
Dropping his bag to hold onto the saiyan's arms, he shifted his head, allowing Vegeta to deepen their kiss, closing his eyes in pleasure. His hands slid down to sink his nails into a black fabric grasping for skin. Small pushes led him backwards into the door as Vegeta devoured his mouth, leaving no part of the human untouched and grabbing at his waist. Krillin never knew how good it felt to be breathless.
They separated and gasping, Vegeta resting their foreheads together a genuine smile plastered over his face. "That was a going away present, I hope you liked it." Saying Krillin liked it would be an understatement, but he nodded and taken into another kiss, shorter but no less passionate, ending when Vegeta bit his lip.
Staring at him with smoldering dark eyes, not noticing a hand sliding in his shirt until warmth hit his burning skin. He joined the hand while his eyes never left Vegeta, heat spiking thought him as his lips were taken again, the hand creeping further up and Krillin's hands gripping harder. Vegeta broke away and rested his lips against Krillin's jaw.
"You better be back here soon, you got me?" It was gravely against the human as the hold tighten which encouraged Krillin to nod enthusiastically, "I want to hear you say it, Krillin, say you'll come back to me."
Finding his voice, he spoke soft, "I'll come back to you Vegeta, always." Relaxing into the door, the saiyan followed him and turned in his neck—resting in it. Loosening his grip, his hands rubbed his back in a soothing caress.
Time stopped for a moment like it did in the club, only this time a silent comfort came with it. Vegeta lifted from his neck and their eyes met and one last time did they kiss, it being softer than anything Krillin has ever felt.
Vegeta stared through him, "You'll come back right?" Smiling, Krillin touched his face and leaned up to press their heads together along with their hands.
"As long you want me to." His butterflies settled, as if knowing what Krillin was saying was true and the saiyan knew he would want that, he couldn't the same without Krillin. He would always want Krillin.
He hummed, "Then come back soon because I want you here." They let go of each other as he finished, hands untangling from each and making Vegeta ache. Krillin took his bag and gave him one last look before opening the front door.
Right behind him, Vegeta watched from the door as Krillin took a deep breath and turn to him. The red orange sun highlighting his face and it was taking every bit of the saiyan not take Krillin back inside and keep him from anyone else.
"See ya Vegeta, I'll see you soon." Giving one him one last look, he blasted off in the sky, Vegeta's eyes following hum until he could see nothing. Releasing a breath, he was unaware of holding, he closed the door, gripping it for a while.
It was only for a few days; he could wait that long was what he told himself. He could do that. He had to do that.

Krillin made it home and despite earlier, seeing his home felt amazing. Bright blue water mixed with a salty scent blended well with sight of a little red house resting on sand. God did I miss home. He landed and before he could walk to the house, the door swung open and out came Yamcha and Puar.
He was tackled into a hug by Yamcha as Puar floated, talking excitedly to him. Making him happy that his friends missed him, making him yelp as Yamcha picked him up and Puar laughing around them. He was finally put down after a while, "Hey man, it's so great to see! We were getting worried that something happened at the Briefs' house."
Something did happen at his temporary home, but he had the feeling Yamcha was thinking more…negative. He just smiled and patted his friend's arm as they walked inside, allowing Krillin to take in how much he missed his home, especially when he saw his master and Oolong sitting in the living room.
"Hey there Krillin, have a seat, Puar's about to serve us tea!" The blue cat floated pass him to go to the kitchen. He down on the rug and Yamcha sat next to him, continuing to talk with him. This was going to interesting.
"So how was your stay?" Krillin said that it was pretty good and how Bulma was her normal self and then Yamcha hummed, "That's good to hear, how as it like staying with Vegeta, I know that was interesting."
Images of Vegeta kissing him shot through him and using every bit of his training, he didn't blush thank Kami. "Yeah, it was…interesting to say the least, you know how he can be." Attractive, kind of sweet and a really good kisser—getting distracted here Krillin.
Puar lazily floated in with cups of tea and Krillin sighed into his cup of green tea, memories of him and Vegeta sipping their coffee coming to mind, the smell and taste of sickly-sweet rising on his tongue. Thankfully, it was downed by green tea.
God, he hoped this'll get better.
"Good night Krillin, see you in the morning!" He smiled, waving to his roommates as he went into his room. Sighing once the door closed, he took in the sight of his room—pictures of his life with all of his friends—every chapter of his life on display.
And you just got a new page, don't you Krillin. Just a mention of the saiyan was making him warm inside and he needed to lay down before he started squealing out loud. He ended up just squealing in his pillow, not even changing out of his clothes.
He turned on his back, the ceiling staring back at him, wishing it were Vegeta instead. He wished the saiyan was here with him right now, holding him, talking to him, being with him. Hasn't even been that long and a need was already spreading, it should be concerning but it wasn't. Turning on his side, he curled up in a comfortable ball, smiling to himself.
He couldn't wait to see Vegeta again.
~Stars~
Days had passed since the saiyan had seen Krillin and everything was—fine? It was very hard to say because everything was fine. He still trained, still eat, still slept but the urge that there was supposed to be something else was haunting him. When he wasn't moving, he was at a standstill and on the couch.
Bulma called it 'moping' and he had to agree, without Krillin, he really had nothing to do. This was only day—what day was it—four, he believed. He wasn't even done with the week yet and he was missing Krillin like something bad and the more he stayed in one place, the more intense it became—festering in his chest like a hungry parasite.
Huffing, he leaned into the plush cushions and dreamed of big black eyes and a round face, him holding like they had forever and embracing the touch, the feel of what he wanted. Reminders of him standing at the door found him, lost thoughts of how he should've asked Krillin to stay another hour, just one more moment before he left.
He wanted to kiss Krillin again, feel as the human melted into him, just how he liked it. Putty in his hands and his to put back together when they were done if he ever got done. Vegeta was selfish, so didn't see himself being done with Krillin anytime soon. But more honestly, he didn't want to be done with Krillin.
God, he had it bad.
"Well duh, I've been telling you since the beginning Vegeta." Stiffening, he sat up and Bulma was next to the couch, her smile soft but smug. Damn she needed a bell on her. Sitting up straight, he crossed his arms and didn't look at her.
Bulma's smile got wider and sat down next to him, cooing at him, "Aww poor Vegeta, he has to be away from his boyfriend for a week, whatever shall he do." She giggled when he glared at her but then looked up at him, "But really how are you holding up?" Sincerity made Vegeta's stomach shift.
Grunting he shifted away from her, only to have her follow after him—leaving him open to her predator-like presence. "Wouldn't you like to know, woman." He will not give her satisfaction; he would rather die.
She rolled her eyes and mimicked his posture, "Wow, there goes my thinking that you were softening up to me, yeah know, since I helped you get with my best friend." Guilt worked for other people but Vegeta mirrored steel and dealt with people worse, she would have to try harder than that.
Muttering to herself, she ran a hand through blue hair while processing what to say, "Listen, I know we don't get along, but I can tell you miss Krillin—don't fucking lie to me asshole." Snapping his mouth shut, he turned away.
He looked back when a hand touched him, "I just want you to know that you can talk to me, I'll let up a little if it makes you feel better. Just talk to me alright, being in your head might make you go on a rampage." Smiling again, Bulma stands up and gives him a look before starting to walk away.
"Wait." Bulma stopped and he continued, "We can talk but you get five minutes, that's it Bulma, got me?" Taking the win in stride, she plopped her ass right down and ready do what she did best.
She loved being right.

You do not miss him, you do not miss him, you do not miss him. Repeating it over and over almost made it sound true because that was far from the truth and Krillin was only making it worst by dancing around it.
Whining softly, he leaned against the table and turned in his arms. What was wrong with him, why couldn't he be normal, it hadn't even been a week. He had been a moody mess since he got back home, not snappy or anything, just really really sensitive over the dumbest shit. At least he wasn't in his room constantly and was actually eating, thank Kami for the little things but he had a feeling that his roommates were getting suspicious.
He picked up his head when he heard the front door open and in came Yamcha, happy as ever, "Hey Krillin, wow, you look down buddy." Mumbling against the table, he tried to wave off his friend but when did that ever work.
Sliding next to his small friend, he wrapped an arm around, "Come on dude, you can tell me anything besides, I can tell something's bothering you." Of course, he could tell, Krillin wasn't doing the best job of hiding it but the fear was rising in him.
Did he think his friends would abandon if telling the truth, not really but people have left him for less, but this was Yamcha, someone who has been with him since he was a lost kid—he wouldn't leave him, right?
Sighing he lifted himself from cage of arms, he stared at his old friend, "Okay, I'll tell you, but you have to promise that you won't freak out, okay Yamcha." Once he got his promise, he took a deep breath.
"Remember when you asked me about my stay with the Briefs and we talked about Vegeta, well I kind of lied when I said nothing happened—"
"I knew it! What did the asshole do, just tell me what he did Krillin and I'll get Goku and the others—" No, no, no, very much unneeded and Goku didn't need to know just yet, trying to keep this thing small.
Immediately grabbing at Yamcha's arm as he tried to stand, pulling him down, "Yamcha, I wasn't done yet, let me finish please." Thankfully, his friend settled back down and Krillin continued before Yamcha got any brighter ideas.
"I lied because something did happen between me and Vegeta but what happened is that—how can I-I say this, ya know, screw it—me and Vegeta are dating, we've been dating since last night." Closing his eyes, relief washed over him because it was finally out in the open.
Yamcha was reeling because holy shit that was not even on his radar of what he was going to told and wow, this answer took the cake. Krillin and Vegeta, it didn't even sound right and it had to explained. But then he looked at his friend and dear god, he looked so red and happy. A smile so bright and pleasant that them being together made him pause again—was Krillin this happy about dating Vegeta?
Krillin was still talking, he was vaguely listening before finally settling, he didn't care. He didn't care if his friend was dating someone that he probably shouldn't or whatever how Yamcha felt about, he was just happy.
"You okay Yamcha, you've been quiet, damn it I knew I shouldn't have told you." The ex-monk muttered, curling into himself.
He smiled and dragged a small frame into a bear hug, laughing at the high pitch scream covered by his chest as he leaned against the couch. "Don't worry buddy, I'm happy for you—just—Vegeta, really man? How did that even happen?"
Krillin squirmed out of the hug and rubbed the back of his head in embrassament, "Uh, it's kind of a long story—you've got some time?"

A week and a half passed and Vegeta was even more restless, his need gnawing harshly at him and annoyingly. Even after a training session, his mind still wouldn't let him forget his lover. Despite his reservations, Bulma had been a good listener as he talked about Krillin and how much he missed him.
Walking into the kitchen, he noticed that Bulma wasn't there but really didn't think much of it, just happy to have some peace. After being able to eat his food in peace, he was going to go up to roof and enjoy the day when he heard laughter from the living room. Thinking best he was going to ignore it—Bulma sometimes had people over and he usually tucked away from the commotion.
"Oh, hey Vegeta! Come over here, we've been waiting for you." We, who the hell was we? Narrowing his eyes, he slowly made his way over the couch—ready to ask her what she wanted when he finally rounded over the furniture.
There was Krillin, sitting there with his smile and happy to see him. Raising a hand, he waved at him, "Hey Vegeta, how have you been?" Pretty miserable, agitated and been using the woman for a therapist but none of that mattered now. He was here, Krillin was here. Finally.
Bulma watched them, not letting smugness show as once again her brilliance was unmatched. She called her friend up a few days ago to surprise the saiyan with his presence. If any from their talks said anything, her guest missed Krillin something bad—she almost felt sorry for him. So, deciding to be nice, she wanted Krillin to come over for the weekend for a certain pain in her ass. Guess who was happy as shit and said yes in an instant—dashing over in a blink of an eye and at her doorstep by the time she put her phone down.
Getting up from the couch, she made an excuse that she had to go back to the lab but it wasn't like anyone heard her. Krillin at least attempted to say bye but Vegeta just planted himself next to the human—not even paying attention to her. She walked out as she saw Krillin giggle and take her guest's hand as Vegeta started blushing. A genuine smile came to her as she watched them talk, a smile forming on Vegeta's face as Krillin babbled to him in pure excitement.
They were cute, despite being a massive pain in her ass, they were cute. She really hoped that this worked out, for everyone involved. Quietly, she walked out of the kitchen and let the two of them have their time together—at least Vegeta was out of her hair. For now, that is. But she was happy for them and she knew that they were happy too.
That's all that really mattered anyway.
