Okay first I would like to apologize for being really late with this chapter. Being in the military and currently not in the United States can make my job a little hectic with what we are doing. I was planning to have this chapter out on the 28th but got swamped with maintenance on our Vehicles just took up a lot of my free time. We have also been in the field training for the last week and a half. I do apologize for this late upload, but I hope you all enjoy it, it is the biggest chapter yet but I enjoyed making this one the most so far and I will also say That this story has over 1000 views. Silence is what was heard as an intense battle ragged on. An equal two million soldiers were dead on each side. Airships being shot down left and right. The enemy was encroaching on their opponent's capital. It was a daring move that sacrificed over one hundred thousand soldiers, but if pulled off would cut the rest of his opponents supplies from the war.
Onyx looked up from his screen and looked his opponent in his eyes. Ren had a little smirk as he focused back onto his screen. Onyx looked over his supplies, noting if he kept defending he would ultimately lose. Rapidly bouncing his knee he took a deep breath and focused. He quickly split his eighteen heavy panzer divisions and twelve elite mechanized divisions evenly. Sending one set to the north and one to the south. He pulled an equal amount of reserve panzer divisions from his coast in the west and replaced his now weakened front.
Onyx knew these panzer divisions would not hold as well but wanted his opponent to keep focusing on the main battle in the middle. He noticed Ren had sent an extra fifteen heavy panzer divisions to the main battle. Onyx smirked as he noticed Ren had sent an all out attack against the front, fifty divisions in the north and south and one hundred and fifty in the middle, at a total of two hundred and fifty. Onyx didn't have that luxury of troops, but what he had to counter was tactics and the quality of his remaining troops.
Cracking his back Onyx split off ten more divisions to the north and south, leaving the middle to defend against the hoard. Rens troops drove Onyx back in the middle of the front line, creating a bulge in the front line. Onyx noticed his north and south battles were able to hold the assault. Capitalizing Onyx counter attacked in the north and south with his eighteen heavy panzer divisions and twelve elite mechanized divisions he had split from earlier. He smiled as he noticed his last land doctrine in his Lightning Assault category finished, giving him a twenty percent speed and ten percent attack to panzer units. He sent his elite units on a straight path and punched through Rens poorly trained units. The units connected in the middle effectively sealing the bulge off and encircling one hundred and fifty of Rens best divisions. Onyx surrounded and ordered an all out attack squeezing the bulge smaller and smaller. Ren tried to counter attack in the north and south to reopen the encirclement and encircle Onyx counter attack but was ultimately stopped as Onyx was able to free more units to help defend against Ren's counter attack.
"Okay, you win this one Onyx" Ren said as he sighed.
"What!? But Ren you can still win this!" Nora spoke.
"No, I don't see a way he could. Onyx killed his best divisions while only losing a few of his own. By the time Ren would produce more, Onyx would have driven back Rens remaining forces, plus they wouldn't be elite units so they wouldn't be able to stand against Onyxes army" Blake said as she analyzed the game as a spectator.
"Poo," Nora said dejected.
"It was a great game Ren, you spend a little more time on the quality of your troops and a tad bit on your tactics, you might beat me" Onyx said with a smile as Ren shook his hand.
"Oh me next!" Ruby squealed.
"I'm sorry Ruby, I need to go meet with an old friend, I need to get going" Onyx said as he got up.
"Oh, where are you meeting him?" Pyrrha asked.
"Just at a bookstore in Vale," He said.
Pyrrha nodded and looked backed towards her book. Before she began reading she felt an elbow hit her back. She turned and saw Nora and Yang behind her.
"Why don't you go with him, it could be a date you know~~" Yang whispered into her ear
"Wh-what are you talking about Yang?" Pyrrha asked.
"Oh Nora filled me in, no need to hide it" Yang said.
"Nora!? Why would you tell Yang?" Pyrrha yelled in a whisper.
"Sorry...I was thinking out loud about it and Yang heard me..hehe" She said nervously.
"Come on, what the worst that can happen Pyrrha?" Yang said with a smile.
"I don't know Yang, I just don't want to ruin our friendship, like what if he just wants to be friends, it could create an awkward situation and hurt the team… Shouldn't I wait till he makes the first move or shows interest at least?" Pyrrha asked.
"Pyrrha, that will probably happen with Onyx, at least not in the way you think" Yang claimed.
"What, how do you know?"She asked.
"Well I have talked to a lot of guys in the past and some recently, flirting, joking, you know the such. Not because I'm a train to run through mind you, but it helps with understanding guys a lot easier"
"Okay, I guess that makes some sense, but what makes you think Onyx is different?" She asked.
"From the time I have known him, I think he is a genuinely sweet guy who puts family and friends above all else. He also is a smartass but a sweet one at that, always letting you know it's all for fun. I'll let you in on something. I have flirted with him multiple times and almost every time he gets nervous and loses some of his cool. So he piqued my interest and I asked him on a date" Yang said.
"Wh-what?" Pyrrha asked nervously.
"Don't worry, he turned me down. Anyway I asked him why out of curiosity and he explained that he wants to have a genuine relationship and not any games and likes to get to know a person before even dating them."
"Whoa...Okay but how does that mean he wouldn't make the first move and such?" Pyrrha questioned.
"I never said he wouldn't, I said it just wouldn't be in the way that you think. Since he is a guy that builds trust, has he done anything, given anything or said anything that would be him giving trust to you? Yang asked.
Pyrrha sat for a moment until a memory came up, "Yea, he mentioned some very personal stuff to me the night after initiation, said I was the first he told that to" She explained.
"Whoa, see right there was him building trust with you, I assume you haven't done anything to betray it right?" The blond asked
"Well no" Pyrrha stated.
"Okay, you can add that with the amount of time I have seen you helping him with class and also from what Nora tells me, the glances he steals of you when you're not looking~~" Yang cooed in her ear.
Pyrrha blushed from the thought.
"So you think I should just go head on with this?" Pyrrha asked.
"I think you should ask to go along with him and once you're done meeting with his friend, hang out with him, just you two alone and figure out your own feelings first but don't make it seem like a date because it could make him nervous" Yang explained as she took a drink of water.
"And if you confirm that you don't like him like that, then that's that, but if you decide that you do… find a good time to let him now that YOU want to be with HIM, don't force him but let him know clear as day and I'm sure the rest will playout. You know what they say, Mama takes what Mama likes~~" Yang cooed in Pyrrhas ear.
"Now go supergirl, if you hurry you should catch him before he gets on the Bullhead" Yang said as she gave Pyrrha a shove.
Pyrrha nodded and quickly left the library with a small smile on her face.
Pyrrha rounded the corner almost running into people. She quickly spun out of their way and continued forward. She opened the main doors to Beacon and left down the cobble path to the landing pads. She saw Onyx about to get on the Bullhead.
"Onyx!" Pyrrha shouted.
Onyx stopped and turned his head to the sound of his name.
"Pyrrha? What's up?" He asked as he was surprised to see her.
"I-I was wondering if I could go with you...if you don't mind of course" Pyrrha
"Sure, I don't mind" He said with a smile and held out his hand to help her on the Bullhead.
Pyrrha formed a little blush and smiled and accepted his hand and held on the bullhead. The two sat down next to each other while the Bullhead left towards vale.
"So what are you meeting this friend for?" Pyrrha asked, breaking the silence.
"I'm calling in a favor he owes me from when I helped him back when I lived with him before Beacon" Onyx explained.
"What do you need him to do?" She asked.
"Need him to find information for me about a certain event taking place in two weeks, have been looking into it myself but need more help and I hope he can help me. I'll tell you more about it when we get there, okay?" He asked with a smile.
"Of course" She said as she understood and smiled.
The pair traveled for a few minutes until they landed in vale. The left Bullhead and headed down the street and took three left turns till they came upon a store called "Tukson's Book Trade". Onyx smiled and opened the door.
"Welcome to Tukson's Book Trade, I will be out with you in a second" A deep voice said from the back room.
"It's fine old man take your time" Onyx replied.
The sound of a box dropping was heard and a middle aged man in his thirties stepped out from behind the curtain.
"Do my eyes deceive me… is that you Onyx? The man asked.
"You bet old timer" Onyx said with a wide smile.
"Ha don't make me laugh, I'm not that old kid, hell have a seat, what brings you and your friend here." Tukson said as he sat down.
"I will cut straight to the chase, I need a favor Tukson." Onyx said.
"What would this favor be?" Tukson asked intrigued.
"I need you to look into a meeting that is supposed to be held two weeks from today, I just need to know the exact location. It will be in the Emerald Forest, but I don't know where exactly it will be." Explained Onyx.
"I see… is this the white fang?" Tukson asked.
"Yes" Onyx replied.
"Onyx, you know I left that organization a while ago and I don't want to have any association with them." He explained.
"Please Tukson, I may have found something worth investigating here" Onyx pleaded.
Tukson sat there with his hands on his chin and eyes closed, thinking.
"Torchwick is involved, he is the one who is organizing this."
"What, how do you know?" Tukson questioned.
"About two weeks ago in Forever Fall I stumbled upon a little meeting with a couple dozen White Fang members and Torchwick talking about something happening in the Emerald Forest, I plan to scout and see what's up and find a little more info before trying to take down Torchwick or even telling Ozpin" Onyx explained.
Tukson sat there thinking for a minute. Silence swept over the three sitting in the room until he looked at Onyx.
"Okay, I'll look into this and see what I can find with some old contact I still know. I don't know when I will find out or even if I will, but I will contact you when I do." Tukson said with a smile.
"Thanks Tuk, I owe you one" Onyx replied.
"More than one, now is there anything else I can do for either of you?" He asked.
"Actually, do you by chance have the new book of-" Onyx cut himself off as he looked at Pyrrha, "t-the um you know" He asked Tukson as his face gained a tint of red.
"Aha ha my boy, why yes I do I'll be right back" Tukson said as he left the two at the table.
Pyrrha gave Onyx a quizatic look, " What book are you talking about?" She asked.
"O-Oh ya know just a book about adventures and such with a little romance in them... yea" He said while avoiding eye contact
Pyrrha began to stare at him, questioning if that was the full truth. She was about to ask more till Tukson came back with a book in a black store bag.
"Here you go Onyx, I'll let you know if anything new comes in" Tukson said.
"Thanks Tuk. Well we are going to get going, have a nice day old man" Onyx said as he and Pyrrha began to walk out the building and Tukson gave a smile and wave.
Pyrrha and I left Tuksons and were walking down the street till Onyx heard a noise come from Pyrrha.
"Woah, you hungry there Pyrrha?" Onyx asked with a chuckle.
"Y-yea a little bit, could we stop and get some food?" Asked Pyrrha.
"Yea, I know this little cafe a few blocks from here, come on" Onyx said as he grabbed Pyrrhas hand and formed a current and they flew towards the cafe.
The two landed right in front of the cafe when Pyrrha swayed a bit and stubbled and almost fell as Onyx grabbed her and held her up.
"Who-whoa there Pyrrha you okay?" Onyx asked with concern.
"Ye-yea just a tad dizzy is all" She said a little dazed.
"Heh heh sorry about that Pyrrha" Onyx said with a hint of guilt.
"Oh don't worry, it was kinda fun… but just warn me next time okay?" Pyrrha said with a smile.
"Okay… Come on let's go in" Onyx said as he led Pyrrha into the cafe.
The two entered into the medium sized cafe that had about 10 tables inside. A lady with a white apron and a set of wolf ears on her head came up to them.
"Hallo, willkommen to Erika's Café, table for zwei?" The faunus with the accent asked.
"Ja bitte" Onyx replied.
Pyrrha looked at Onyx confused, not knowing what he just said. She watched as the waitress understood what he said and smiled and led them to a table by a window that had a view of a beautiful garden. The two sat down across from each other as the waitress left to get menus.
"So what did you say to her? I don't think I recognize the language you used" Pyrrha asked.
"Oh, this Café has a cultural origin from the people who moved from the southern part of the Kingdom of Vale. Down there it's mainly smaller towns, almost tribal villages sometimes and they teach an older language mainly for cultural reasons, called Germastria. I said "Ja bitte" Which means "Yes please" Onyx explained.
"Oh wow, that's Germastria, I have heard of, but just never heard it. Do you know it quite well?" Pyrrha asked intrigued.
"Ehh, only bits and pieces. I started to learn it about two years ago since my old town started to get a lot of travelers from the southern part of the kingdom. I would love to learn more of it since I think it's a beautiful language." Onyx said.
"Ah that is cool, mind teaching me some, sometime?" Pyrrha asked.
"Yes of course" Onyx said with a radiant smile.
Pyrrha gave her own smile as she looked at the infectious smile Onyx was showing. She felt a warm sensation in her chest as she gazed into his eyes. She was brought back to the world when the waitress put the menus down next to them.
"What can I get for you Sir?" She asked Onyx.
"Just a simple Chocolate Mocha Coffee and Teriyaki Chicken and Rice please" Onyx said his order and the waitress looked at Pyrrha.
"Was about the Fräulein?" She asked with a smile as she looked at Pyrrha.
"Um... could I have Green Tea with a chicken salad with a side of rice please" Pyrrha ordered.
"Ofcourse, I will bring it out when it is ready, guten tag!" The Wolf faunus said cheerfully as she left with the orders .
There was a silence between the two till Onyx broke it.
"So Pyrrha, do you know any other languages?" Onyx asked curiously.
"Well not really, at least not as well as you. My Dad taught me a few greetings of an old language from his tribe when he was really young. I didn't really have much time to learn it though, not like mom did. She knows his language probably more than him. She used to sing me a lullaby everynight before bed when I was younger" Pyrrha smiled at the memory.
"What was it called?" Onyx asked.
"Vargsången was the name. She would sing the song in its original language she learned from my dad. She has a very angelic voice. She can still force me to fall asleep with her voice if she were to sing it right now" She smiled.
Onyx gave her his full attention, listening to every detail and smiled at his partner talking about herself.
"So what is the language called?" Onyx asked.
"Norlandic" Pyrrha said.
"I have heard of that, isn't it a language from northern Atlas?" Onyx asked.
"Yes. From what my dad has told me, his tribe had come down from Atlas and moved to Mistral"
"What about your mom?" He asked with a smile.
"Oh she was born in Mistral and lived there most of her life till she moved to a smaller town from the capital to a smaller village to the west and that's where she met my dad." Pyrrha explained as the waitress had come back with their food and drinks.
The two dug into their food as soon as the waitress left. Pyrrha took a bite of her salad and a smile came onto her face.
"This taste is really fresh...and the chicken is properly cooked as well. This was a great place to eat." Pyrrha exclaimed with a smile.
"I'm glad you like it. This is my favorite place in vale to just come and relax, well besides the park a few blocks away." Onyx said.
"Well, want to head there after we are finished? we still have time before it gets dark," Pyrrha asked.
"I would like that Pyrrha," Onyx said with a smile.
Pyrrha gave her own back as she focused on finishing her food as well as Onyx.
The two finished their meal and Onyx paid for the food with Pyrrha resisting at first but ultimately letting him pay this time. They walked out of the café and headed down the street towards the main park in Vale. Onyx noticed the sun was almost in sunset as they made it to the park in five minutes of walking.
"So Pyrrha… what did you do before you got into fighting?"
Pyrrha looked away and a small smile crept on her face happy he was interested in her past.
"Well I used to help my mother around the house while my father was out working. My favorite thing to do was gardening. She showed me how to garden when I was around 5 and I loved it ever since. Planting flowers was my favorite, but I also love planting my own food. There is just a feeling of eating fresh fruits and vegetables that you grow yourself and they are the best kind you can have since they are straight from the ground...OH! And there is a tree back at my home that my dad and I planted together and it's still there to this day and my mom and I planted a patch of flowers around it and my dad found a stone and we all carved our names into it and made it our little sacred spot in our yard" Pyrrha explained with passion and a smile.
Onyx looked at her as the setting sun light glistened on her giving her a glowing aura around her and smiled as they walked the path in the park.
"That sounds beautiful Pyrrha, you have to show m-" Onyx cut himself off as he stopped.
"Onyx? What's wrong?" Pyrrha asked.
Onyx put his finger to his lips to be quiet. He started walking towards a bridge and stopped. He could hear sniffling. He went down the little slope and under the bridge he saw a small boy crying. The boy had lightly tanned skin and short straight blond hair with black spots and two little blond and black spotted ears on his head as well as a small tail.
Pyrrha followed Onyx and noticed the small boy as well.
"Oh dear…" Pyrrha said as they walked up to the lone boy.
"Hey are you okay?" Onyx asked the boy.
"Huh! Oh… I-I'm okay, I just c-cant find my mommy and daddy" The boy said as he continued to sob into his arms.
"Hey… my name is Onyx and she is Pyrrha, would you like us to help you find them?" Onyx asked.
"Yo-you would help me?" The boy got out.
"Ofcourse, why wouldn't we?" Onyx said with a genuine smile.
The boy pointed to his ears and tail "Be-because of these…" He said as his ears and tail dropped.
Pyrrha felt a small pain in her chest as Onyx had anger build up, but he quickly pushed it away to not scare the boy.
"Did people not want to help you because you are a faunus?" Pyrrha asked.
The boy just nodded his head as he put his head back into his arms.
"Well those people are just a big bunch of doo doo heads" Onyx said as he walked up and knelt down to the boy and started to lightly rub his head, "Honestly your ears and tail are awesome" Onyx said with a smile.
"Yo-you like my ears and tail?" The boy asked.
"You bet, they are super cool, I mean look at me. All I got are these boring things" Onyx said as he flicked his own ears.
The boy gave him a smile and started to lightly laugh. Onyx then picked the boy up and put him on his back, giving him a piggyback ride.
"Now can you show us where you last saw them?" Onyx asked with a smile.
Pyrrha smiled at the scene in front of her as the boy led them to a bench about a hundred yards away. Onyx set the boy down and walked up to Pyrrha.
"Hey can you go to the police station a couple blocks from here and see if they have reported him missing, hopefully they did so they can quickly contact them" He asked
"Yes I can, but where will you search for them?" She asked.
"I'm going to watch him here and see if they come back here. I'll also try to distract him and cheer him up" Onyx said.
Pyrrha gave a smile as she left for the police station.
"Where is she going mister Onyx?" The boy asked.
"Oh she is going to find you parents okay, I promise she is going to bring them back. We are going to wait here so she can bring them back here to a spot she knows where we are okay?" Onyx said.
"Okay mister" The boy said as his head cast downwards.
He knelt down to the boy, " Hey it's okay, everything will be okay. Hey you wanna see something cool?" Onyx asked.
The boy looked at him as he tilted his head sideways curiously. Onyx brought his hand up.
"Okay you see that bush?" He asked.
The boy nodded his head. Onyx sent a gust of wind towards the bush forcing the leaves to fly off the bush and he formed a current and trapped the leaves inside and had them spinning in an endless loop.
"I call it a leafnado!" Onyx exclaimed.
The boy's eyes widened and he started to giggle, "Wow! That's so cool, how are you doing that?!" The boy asked excited
"It's my semblance, I'm able to create and manipulate wind to a certain extent" Onyx explained.
"Wow, I hope I get a cool semblance!" The boy said as he was practically bouncing around the spinning nado of leaves.
Onyx smiled at the boy's antics and started to think of more distractions to help the boy till Pyrrha returned.
Pyrrha was lightly joking to the station as she made her last turn and could see it in sight. She stopped in front of the building and walked in and saw what looked like a man and a woman at the counter.
"Please do you have any updates?" The woman pleaded.
"I'm sorry, but our officers haven't reported anything yet. It's only been two hours. I'm sure they will find him" The receptionist said
"My baby could have been kidnapped, two hours is a lot-" The woman was cut off by the guy.
"Honey, yelling at her won't help us. I understand, I am his father and feel the same pain as you right now, please...just breathe" The man said.
"Yo-you'r right Jack, I know it won't help. I'm just worried that our baby could have been taken fr-" He cut her off again.
"Cecilia, don't say that. I am sure he is fine" The man named Jack said as he brought the woman in a hug.
Pyrrha walked up to the two and got a better look. The man had black hair,light skin and a casual shirt and pants on while the woman lightly tanned skin and blond hair. Pyrrhas eyes widened a little when she noticed the woman had a set of blond and black spotted ears and tail.
"Excuse me, are you looking for a child" She asked the two.
"Huh? Oh yes we are, why have you seen him!?" The woman named Cecilia asked.
"I think so, he looked about seven years old, he has two blond and black spotted ears as well as a small tail?" Pyrrha explained.
"That sounds like him! Is his name Jacob?" The woman asked desperately.
"Oh I don't know, I didn't ask before I left to find his parents," Pyrrha said.
"Wait you just left him there!?" Cecilia screamed.
"What? No no no… I left him with my partner and he sent me to find his parents. I'm a student from Beacon.
"Oh okay, I apologize for yelling, can you please take us to him?" The woman asked.
"Of Course follow me." Pyrrha said as the three left the station to head back to the park.
Pyrrha was surprised the woman was able to keep up with her as she was surprisingly fast. They made it to the park in about 10 minutes and Pyrrha saw Onyx standing next to one of the trees. She went ahead of the couple to Onyx.
"Onyx where is he? I found hi-" She was cut off by Onyx smiling with a finger to his mouth to tell her to be quiet.
"Welp I give up, I just can't seem to find the little rascal!" Onyx exaggerated.
Pyrrha was confused till she heard leaves shuffling in the tree next to them. Next thing she noticed was the boy they had found pouncing onto Onyx knocking him to the ground.
"OH NO! You got me! There is no escape!" Onyx said as he pretended to be pinned by the boy.
"AH HA! I told you, you are no match for me, the best hunter in all of the Kingdoms" The boy said victoriously.
"Not if I dooooo...this" Onyx said as he started to tickle the boys' sides.
The boy known as Jacob started to laugh vigorously as he couldn't stop.
"Hey you can't use a tickle attack! That's cheating!" The boy said while laughing.
Pyrrha stood there as a warm sensation once again filled her chest as a genuine smile crept on her face as she watched the endearing sight before her. The parents finally caught up and looked at the same sight and smiled. The mom had little tears forming ,being glad she had found her son. Onyx noticed them and smiled.
"Wanna see something even cooler Jacob?" Onyx asked.
"You have something even cooler to show me!" The boy said excitedly.
Onyx nodded his head and pointed behind the boy and the boy turned his head and his eyes widened.
"Mommy! Daddy!" The boy cried as he leapt into their arms.
The three ended up in a family hug.
"Where were you darling, we were worried sick about you, we were so scared" The mother cried.
"I-i'm sorry mommy I just wanted to see the pretty p-park, but I got l-lost and couldn't find you" The boy sobbed.
"It's okay son, we are just glad we found you, but please don't go wandering by yourself like that again" The father said.
"I wont daddy, I promise" The boy said as he dug his head into the parents hug.
Onyx got up and walked next to Pyrrha and looked at the family and had a smile on his face along with Pyrrha.
"How can we repay you twp?" The woman asked.
"Oh, please, there is no need. We are just glad you have your son back" Pyrrha said as Onyx nodded in agreement.
"Well thank you so much for finding us and thank you young man for keeping him safe" The woman said.
"It was no problem, he is an interesting little guy and he is pretty fast for his age" Onyx said with a chuckle.
"Oh he probably gets that from me, being a cheetah faunus and all" The woman said.
"Huh, I was wondering what type of faunus you were. That is pretty cool" Onyx said with a smile.
"Mommy, Daddy, mister Onyx said my ears and tail are super cool!" The boy said happily.
"Oh he did, did you tell him thank you?" The father asked.
"Oh uhhh...Thank you mister Onyx!" The boy said.
Onyx walked up to him and gave him a fist bump, " No problem little dude, you're going to be a super cool hunter one day" Onyx said genuinely.
The boy gave Onyx a big smile as his little tail swayed in happiness. The parents thank the two again before leaving for home with their son.
"Well I'm glad they are reunited" Onyx said with a hiraeth look on his face.
"You okay Onyx?" Pyrrha asked.
"Yea… Just a sight like that makes me real happy and a little sad"
'Why is that?" She asked, confused.
"Well when I see them like that, I imagine myself with a family like that. I dream to have a family of my own. One where I can protect those who I love. Have a daughter I can spoil in love and care, a son I can raise to be strong and caring and a wife I can love and depend on to help me through the rest of my life" Onyx said passionately.
Pyrrha stood there with her mouth a little agape. She smiled at Onyx's confession of his dream.
"Well I'm ready to head back, it's getting late and I'm getting tired" Onyx said as Pyrrha nodded and they left for the Bullhead.
Onyx entered the room first and instantly jumped on his bed. Pyrrha closed the door and grabbed a change of clothes and changed in the bathroom. She walked out as she was brushing her hair.
"You know you should keep your hair straight more often, it's a good look for you" Onyx said from his bed.
Pyrrha quickly gained a tint of pink on her face, "Th-thanks Onyx, I'll keep that in m-mind, well better get to sleep" Pyrrha said a little flustered as she climbed into bed.
Onyx gave a chuckle and said goodnight and began to dozw off while Pyrrha grabbed an extra pillow and began to cuddle it and think about the day she had.
She thought about her time she spent with Onyx on her secret unofficial date with him. She smiled at the thought of their time at the café and time talking while they walked through the park.
'He seemed interested in my family and myself and it seemed like he was fully focused on what I was saying…" She thought with a smile.
She then remembered when they found the boy and the endearing treatment she saw.
'He was so caring and helpful to that child that he didn't even know, like it was his own son… he said his dream is to have his own family… maybe I can…' Pyrrhas face went to an even brighter red as she squeezed her pillow closer to her chest, 'Nora and Yang are right…' she thought as she started to giggle to herself as she rolled back and forth till she rolled off her bed.
"Woah!" She said as she landed on the ground.
"Ughhh.." She said as she sat up.
"You okay Pyrrha" Onyx said as he looked over the edge of his bed at her.
"Y-yea I'm fine, now go to sleep Onyx you need to get up in the morning for class, " Pyrrha ordered.
"But your awake right no-" Onyx was cut off by a glare he saw Pyrrha give him, " Yes Ma'am!" Onyx said with a nervous chuckle and pretended to snore.
Pyrrha quickly climbed into her bed and started to giggle at her partner's reaction.
"What a goof...but cute one" She said as she cuddled her pillow and dozed off.
