Leah pulled out her phone, "did something come up?" Rachel asked.
Leah glanced up, "um yeah, we'll need to leave soon."
Leah hesitated over who to text, she had never really texted any of the other pack members. She decided a group message would be better than multiple quick messages.
"But... we haven't even gotten our food."
"Rachel, please you need to trust me, I know we just met, but please, trust me on this." Leah looked pleadingly at Rachel.
"What's happened?" Rachel's voice had changed. "Did something happen to my father?"
"Yes, now we need to leave." Leah got up and grabbed Rachel by the arm. She pushed her towards the kitchen.
"Leah, I left my phone at the booth." Rachel hissed. She tried to shake Leah's grip.
"It's not important right now," Leah felt her phone buzz in her hand, she didn't have time to look. She needed to get Kim and get out. Leah pushed open the kitchen door, Kim glanced over.
"Leah you can't be in here," Kim called out.
"Kim we need to go, now" Leah said. Leah threw a quick glance at her shoulder that was tattooed, she hoped Kim would understand her meaning, Jared had the same tattoo.
Kim hesitated, "did you drive here?" Leah asked. Kim nodded beginning to tremble. "Okay, grab your purse and take Rachel home."
A piercing scream interrupted Rachel's protests. She and Kim looked towards the dining area, Leah pushed both of them out the back door. She pulled the fire alarm, "GO!" she yelled.
