John and Randy's match was tomorrow night. In storyline Mandy had been in the hospital for a week. She and John decided they were eloping at a resort in Key Largo. The date was set for November 2nd." John was at an autograph signing. Mandy was at the hotel looking at dresses for the wedding on her phone. She was sitting with her back against the arm of the couch facing away from the door. She jumped when she felt a hand on her shoulder. She looked up and saw John.
I'm sorry. John signed. You jumped a mile.
It's ok. She signed. She adjusted herself on the couch so John could sit down. He sat down. They kissed. How was your autograph signing?
Good. A lot of people were asking about you.
Me? She signed confused. What for?
Well they're concerned about what Randy did to you.
Oh. What did you say?
I said you're recovering well. What have you been up to?
I've been looking at dresses.
Did you find one?
I have my eye on a few. I need to find one for this guy I'm marrying.
Anybody I know?
Yeah.
We should finalize who's all coming as soon as possible.
Yeah. I think we got everyone though. It's only three people.
Has Jennifer confirmed?
Yeah. She's definitely coming.
Good.
I know your parents are.
Speaking of parents…
John please, not this again.
I know your last conversation with them didn't go well but things are different now. I'm going to be their son-in-law.
I wish that would mean something to them.
Do they know we're engaged?
No.
I know you want them there.
I would love it but it won't happen.
The next morning John woke up Mandy.
Want to go to breakfast with Kim and Randy? John signed.
Sure just give me a second. She signed.
They were all at a café in the hotel.
"You've been doing great on TV." Kim said to Mandy.
"Thank you." Mandy said. "How are your children?"
"Good."
"Growing like weeds." Randy said. "I don't think I've showed you an updated picture of Alanna." He got out his phone and showed her.
"Wow." Mandy said. "She's so big."
"Yeah, I still remember when Randy first told me he was going to be a dad." John said.
That night John was getting ready to go out for his match. Mandy gave him a kiss.
I'll see you out there. She signed.
John and Randy's match had been grueling up to this point. The ref had been knocked out. John was down. Randy had gotten out of the ring to get a chair. He was waiting for John to get up to hit him. He felt someone take the chair from him. He turned around and saw Mandy. She threw the chair down. He grabbed her by the hair. She kicked him in the balls. Just then John was getting back up. Mandy got out of ring. John hit the Attitude Adjustment just as the ref was coming to. He pinned Randy and got the three count. Mandy got in the ring. They kissed and celebrated.
Mandy and John were backstage.
This was a fun experience. She signed. If they ever need me for anything during the summer months again, tell them I'm in.
I will. He signed.
Now it's back to reality. I start my new job next week. I've never taught anywhere but one school. I'm a little nervous.
