Quinn exhaled, she quickly ate breakfast and got ready. She stood outside debating to go in or home. She heard voices coming from the apartment so she knocked.
"Hi" She looked up
"I love you" she said back without hesitation. Santana stared at her not moving just yet
"I love you Santana, that was my brother you saw this morning, I told him how you kissed Brittany in front of me and he wanted to get you back and I'm sorry"
Santana exhaled and allowed her to enter. She immediately saw Brittany sitting on the couch holding Beth. As soon as Beth noticed Quinn she smiled and put her little hands out for her, this melted Santana every time.
Brittany noticed that and looked at Santana. Santana walked over and grabbed Beth and brought her back to Quinn. She smiled and held Beth causing her to giggle
"Come sit down Quinn I won't bite you" Brittany said as she patted the couch next to her
"I'm going to grab some waters" Santana said
Quinn sat next to Britt still holding Beth
"Look I'm sorry" Brittany started "Santana was my first and only everything until I screwed that up, I'll always love her I can't change that but I see the way she looks at you and as much as it hurts me I'm glad she has you" She smiles as she touches her arm
"Brittany, You guys are great parents and you coparent in a way that would make anyone jealous, I will say this I love Santana and I love Beth. I don't want to have to worry that you're going to try and mess that up. We're a team for Beth"
Brittany smiled "Damn it, I really wanted to hate you Quinn" She laughed as she pulled her into a hug. "Now! Miss Beth and I are heading home. You two need to talk, San this weekend is yours enjoy it!"
Brittany winked at Santana kissed her cheek as she grabbed Beth's bag and left. Santana walked back into the living room where Quinn was sitting.
"I love you Quinn" She exhaled
"I love you too Santana, and I want to be with you and make this work, I hope you'll still have me" She rested her forehead against Santana's
——1 year later, Academy Awards——
"Quinn over here"
"One picture Quinn!"
"Santana over here!"
The camera flashes were blinding
As Santana stepped out of the limo, straightening her suit jacket she reached out her left hand out as Quinn stepped out. She was wearing a long red dress, she looked gorgeous.
"Have I told you how hot you look right now, Miss Fabray?" Santana whispered as they walked the red carpet which made Quinn blush even more
"Careful miss Lopez My girlfriend won't like you talking to me like that" She winked back
"Where is she? I'll kick her ass too"
They both laugh as they head to reporters
"You ladies look beautiful!" One reporter says
"Thank you" Quinn says as Santana stands there looking around
"This movie is up for a few awards tonight Quinn you must be so proud!"
As she starts talking about the movie Santana wanders off, Quinn watches her confused. When all of a sudden she hears
"Over here Santana!"
"Who is that?"
Quinn turns and sees Santana walking back but she's not alone
"Babe what's Beth doing here?" Quinn asks
"I don't know babe I'm sorry, Rachel handed her to me and left?" She was confused
"I'll take her inside, I'm sorry, keep doing your interviews" Santana said as she walked away, posing for a few pictures with her daughter then heading inside.
Quinn thought that was strange, Santana was very private about Beth.
She walked inside and sat down with them. Beth was a year and a half old now, she sat on Santana's lap holding Quinn's hand.
"And the award for leading actress in a drama...goes to...Quinn Fabray!"
The crowd erupts, this was not her first award but she was humbled every time she won.
She smiled as the spotlight shined on her.
She kissed Santana and grabbed Beth. Santana looked at her confused as she walked on stage.
"Hi everyone!" She says with Beth on her hip.
"Beth and I just want to thank everyone for this award, we thank the directors, the actors involved and to the most important person in our life, Santana. We wouldn't be here if it wasn't for you. We love you" she blew a kiss as Beth waved.
The kid was born for this I tell you.
Santana cheered as she stood to her feet. As Quinn and Beth made it back to their seat she kissed her.
"I'm so fucking proud of you babe!"
"I couldn't have done it without you love"
Just as they were about to kiss they felt two little wet hands on each of their cheeks
"Ew! Jesus! That's Disgusting Beth" Santana said as Quinn laughed, it never ceased to amaze her how she could think that was disgusting but she loved it. They laughed as Quinn wiped their cheeks.
