Now comes the Sound of Silence
KRUSA1 - I'm sticking to what I've got. I added in Arturo because he's been separated from his family for a while so why not bring him in. Myrtle and Gayle will appear at the end.
TLHfanficReader21 - I'll take it!
And for those of you who keep asking, I'm sticking to the TV show, not any other parodies!
Enjoy!
Title card: Sound of Silence
Lincoln and his sisters cringed when they saw the title and Lincoln putting in earplugs.
"You guys ok?" Sid asked.
"Just not a fond memory for any of us." Lincoln replied.
[The title card has a ton of noise going on over the intro music such as objects breaking and crashing, dog barking, cat yowling, Luan laughing, and Lola and Lana yelling; enter Lincoln who is holding a new comic book.]
Lincoln: [kicks off shoes] "Shoes off." [takes off shirt] "Shirt removed." [removes belt and drops pants] "Pants, be gone." [enters room] "Whoo-hoo! It's New Comic Wednesday! And there's no better way to read comics than in my undies!"
There's a combination of laughter, chuckling and several girls going "Eww!"
"You read your comics in your chonies?" Carl asked.
"It's comfy!" Lincoln argued.
"And he does it in privacy." Clyde said in agreement before adding, "...mostly."
"Then again, I really don't mind if you guys are seeing this." said Lincoln, folding his arms with a smile. "It's who I am after all."
"Way to stand out like the cool dude you are bro." Luna smiled.
"Maybe I should give it a try." Carl mused.
"Same here!" said CJ.
Lincoln: "Ultra rare comic? Check. Optimal reading attire? Check." [puts on gloves] "Comic protection? Check. Well deserved and much desired peace and quiet? Check."
[However, Lucy is on his bed's headboard.]
Lucy: "I have to tell you about this dream I had last night." [Lincoln yelps at her presence.]
Everyone yelped.
"Whatever happened to knocking?" Mollie deadpanned.
"She has a point, for all you know, Lincoln could've been naked!" added Girl Jordan.
Several girls blushed at that, as did Lincoln.
"I know whenever Lincoln gets a new comic book, he always reads in his underwear." Lucy replied. "So I'm not bothered by that."
"I'm not even sure what to say about that." said Paula.
"Same here dudette." said Polly.
Lincoln: "I'd love to hear it, but as you can see, I'm-"
Lucy: "So, I'm hanging out in this coffin, and all of a sudden..."
[Lincoln knows she won't stop and goes under the grownup table to read his comic.]
Lincoln: "Peace and quiet? Check. Again."
[But suddenly, a lizard comes crawling over his comic.]
Lana: "Izzy! Where are you?"
[Lincoln screams and hits his head under the table.]
Lincoln: "Ow!"
Lana: [looks under the table] "There you are! Oh, hey, Lincoln! I see you met my new lizard, Izzy. Wanna pet him?"
"That's such a cute lizard!" Sam gushed.
"He sure is." Lana said in agreement. "Right Hops?"
Hops croaked in agreement.
Bobby fainted.
Lori gasped. "Boo-boo bear! Are you ok?!" she exclaimed.
"Oh yeah, Bobby's not really fond of reptiles." said Ronnie Anne.
"Yeah, he calls them 'Tiny Dinosaurs.'" Carl scoffed.
"Seriously?" Lola deadpanned.
"But he's not afraid of Hops is he?" Lana asked.
"No… no I'm not…" Bobby said warily as he came to.
[Lincoln glares at her and moves to the house's vents.]
Lincoln: [growing irritated] "Peace and quiet. Check. Again."
[All of a sudden, Luna plays a really loud guitar riff and causes Lincoln to fall out of the vent and into her room.]
Luna: "NICE STAGE DIVE, BRO!" [continues playing, making Lincoln shake over the noise's vibrations.]
Luna chuckled sheepishly. "Sorry bro."
"It's cool Luna." Lincoln said with a reassuring smile. "The bean bag chair broke my fall."
[Lincoln is now in a dark place where only his eyes can be shown.]
Lincoln: [starting to lose it] "Finally, peace and quiet! Check! AGAIN!" [turns on a flashlight]
[It is revealed that he is reading in the garbage can outside, and Luan lifts up the lid with a garbage bag.]
Luan: "Oh, hey, Lincoln. What has four wheels and flies? A garbage truck!" [laughs] "I would talk trash, but I refuse." [laughs again as Lincoln just rolls the garbage can away in frustration.] "Now we're both on a roll!" [laughs some more and bangs the lid on her knee.]
"How do you come up with this stuff?!" Benny chortled.
"I see what's going on and roll with it." Luan giggled.
"Good one!" Giggles laughed.
Lincoln: [getting some trash off him] "Sheesh! Is it too much to ask for a little peace and quiet so that a guy can read his comic in his undies?" [walks over to the sofa to sit down; to the viewers.] "Sadly, when you've got ten sisters, it's almost impossible to get a moment's peace."
"Believe us Lincoln, we all feel that way." said Lori.
"Indeed. In a house full of 13 people and several pets, it is rare for one individual to get a moment's peace with all the cockamany distruption gpoing around." said Lisa.
"I for one enjoy it every now and then." said Clyde. "It's a good escape from a quiet house." He turned to his parents. "No offence Dads."
"None taken son." Harold smiled.
[An ad comes on TV.]
Announcer: "Do you find it almost impossible to get a moment's peace?"
Lincoln: [exasperated] "Yes." [suddenly intrigued] "Wait! Yes!"
Announcer: "Then you need the Noise-B-Gone 2000 Earbuds! With 12 different soothing sounds, tune out that noisy world and enjoy a little me time. Only $19.95. Call now."
Lincoln: "SOLD!"
"I can see this ending well." Mr. Grouse muttered.
"Did it?" Kortaro asked.
"Heck no!" the Louds' cranky neighbor replied. "Wait and see."
Lincoln: [Goes around looking for some of his money he has been saving up in various places he would keep it and gets the exact total he needs and gets on the phone with customer service.] "Same-day delivery? How much more is that?" [As he's told, he gets out some more money and has enough for the same-day delivery.] "Yeah, let's do it."
"Wow, you must be desperate." Ronnie Anne joked.
"All that money for earplugs?" Maria asked, blinking in disbelief.
"That's a lot of dough." mused Rusty.
"Do you have a job we don't know about?" Leni asked curiously.
"Leni, he's too young for a job." Lori said.
"But I did work as a caddy over the summer like Rusty did." Lincoln said. "I practiced by helping Lori during her tournament."
"Oh yeah." Lori nodded.
[In just a short amount of time, a delivery drone comes by with Lincoln's package; Lincoln answers the door and picks up his package.]
Lincoln: "Ah, Noise-B-Gone 2000. Take my money!" [Hands the drone the amount due.]
"What are you, a simp?" Mr. Grouse joked.
"Shut up and take my MONEY!" Lincoln said as he purchased a new Ace Savvy card deck on his phone. (1)
"Wait, he had his phone this whole time?" Bobby.
"We all do Bobby." said Lori as she took a selfie with Carol and Roger.
Bobby shrugged as he and Lori took as selfie as well.
[The amount is too much for the drone to lift and it crashes down on the porch; Lincoln opens up the buds and puts them in while seeing the ruckus his sisters are causing.]
Lincoln: "Noise...be gone." [presses buttons on buds and suddenly gets a wind chime sound over his sisters' commotion; tries other settings like trickling water, chirping birds, and waves crashing and is relieved.] "Goodbye, pesky, noisy sisters. Hello, me time."
"Wow. Those worked well." said Stella.
"Yeah but I'm gonna regret it." Lincoln sighed.
"Whaddya mean?" asked Liam.
The Loud siblings traded glances.
"You'll see." Lynn said.
[Lori comes in to talk to Lincoln about something, but since Lincoln's earbuds have canceled out her dialogue, it is unknown what she is telling him.]
Lincoln: [not paying attention] "Whatever you say, sis!"
Lori gave Lincoln a glare, making him look away.
[Next, Luna comes in to show off a rocking solo, but Lincoln doesn't hear it.]
Lincoln: [ignoring] "Cool jams!"
"Not cool bro." Luna said with a frown.
"Sorry." Lincoln meekly apologized.
[Finally, Lana and Izzy come in and Lana has something to tell Lincoln, but she is muted out like Lori and Luna.]
Lincoln: [too focused] "You know it, girl!" [takes buds off as Lana leaves.]
"Something about Izzy I'm guessing?" Skippy asked.
"You know it!" Lana replied.
Lincoln: "Noise-B-Gone, you...are...AWESOME! So, why stop at comics?" [puts them back on] "Let the quiet times roll!"
"You know you can't ignore your sisters forever right?" Albert asked.
"I know that now Pop-Pop." Lincoln nodded.
Lincoln: [while working on a model plane with Luan telling some of her comedy material.] "Funny! Funny stuff!"
"I was wondering why he said that." Luan grumbled as Lincoln looked away.
Lincoln: [while playing video games with Lynn watching.] "You betcha, Lynn-arino!"
"Lynn-arino?" Fransisco asked in amusement.
"That's a new one." chuckled Margo.
Lynn rolled her eyes playfully.
Lincoln: [while working on a magazine puzzle; walks by Lucy.] "Uh-huh!"
"Story of my life." Lucy muttered, Lincoln looking away in shame.
Lincoln: [past Leni] "I hear that!"
"You did?" Leni asked, getting several facepalms.
Lincoln: [across Lisa who is holding some beakers.] "Abso-tutely!"
"She didn't say anything." David said in confusion.
Lincoln goes into his room to shoot some hoops. Lola comes in to talk to Lincoln about something important, but thanks to the buds, he can't understand her; what Lola's talking about is worrying her, but he just tunes her out more.
Lincoln: "Aah..."
"LIncoln…" Rita and Lynn Sr. scolded, making Lincoln look away in shame.
[Bedtime]
Lincoln: [takes buds off] "Thanks for a silent day, guys." [polishes them] "You're my new best of buds." [puts them away and awaits to use them again tomorrow.]
Luan couldn't help but giggle.
"Good one Linc." she said.
Lincoln gave a small smile.
[The next morning]
Lola: [barges into Lincoln's room] "LINCOLN!" [Lincoln screams and falls out of bed] "Don't forget you promised to do that thing for me by 3 o'clock today!"
Lincoln: [obviously confused] "Huh?" [notices his ear buds are on the floor and quickly hides them.]
Lola: [Suspiciously irked] "You didn't forget, did you?"
Lincoln: [chuckles] "Of course I didn't forget, Lola."
Lola: "Good, because you wouldn't want to make me MAD!" [storms off]
"Lola…" Lynn Sr. and Rita scolded, making the youngest of the twins look away.
"What happens when you make Lola mad?" Sid asked.
"I think we're gonna find out." said Ronnie Anne.
Lincoln: [worried] "Now, what did I promise?"
[enter Lynn]
Lynn: "Hey, Lincoln!"
Lincoln: "Hey, Lynn. You don't happen to know what I promised-"
Lynn: [grabs him] "Come on, it's go time!"
Lincoln: "For what?"
[Lynn takes him out into the backyard.]
Lincoln: "Lynn, what's happening?"
Lynn: "HIYAH!" [hits Lincoln with a dropkick.]
Lincoln: "Whoa! Hey!" [getting kicked by Lynn multiple times.] "Ow! What are you doing?"
"Junior, just what do you think you're doing?!" Lynn Sr. demanded.
Lynn flinched but Lincoln spoke up.
"Don't you remember what happened later that day Dad?" he asked.
Lynn Sr. froze, but then nodded.
"Still, that seems a bit much on your brother Lynn." said Paula.
"Yeah, he's not even wearing any protective gear." Polly said in agreement.
Lynn looked away.
Lynn: "Practicing my kickboxing! HUAH! Yesterday, you said you'd be my sparring partner." [throws more kicks at Lincoln.] "Remember? HIYAH!"
Lincoln: "I did? I mean, right. I remember." [Lynn delivers a powerful kick to him.] "So, uh, do you know where Lola went today?"
Lynn: [hits him with another powerful kick.] "Nope. Why?"
Lincoln: "Well...I guess I promised to-" [avoids another blow] "Whoa! -do something for her, but-" [another dodge] "-I sort of forgot what it is."
Lynn: [punches him] "WHAT?! You'd better remember! You know what happens when you make Lola mad! Did I ever tell you about the pudding incident?"
Lincoln: "No."
[Flashback to the pudding incident.]
Lola: [notices there's no more pudding in the fridge and Lynn has the last cup. She looks at Lynn suspiciously, with a raised brow.] "So, you ate the last pudding, huh?"
Lynn: [realizing] "Oh, did I? I don't know. Guess so."
Lola: [glaring, with a demonic grin on her face] "Oh, that's okay..."
"I don't like that look." Laird said scaredly.
[Later, as Lynn is getting ready for bed, she notices something under her blanket, lifts it up, and discovers that Lola popped her Soccer ball with a soft knife and screams in horror; end flashback.]
Lincoln: [terrified] "All because you ate the last pudding?"
Lynn: [suddenly calm] "Yep. Now stay focused. HIYAH!" [kicks Lincoln right into her Soccer goalie net.] "GOAL!" [runs off]
Lincoln: "Whew."
"LYNN!" Lynn Sr. and Rita scolded.
"Sorry Lincoln." Lynn said in guilt.
Lincoln waved her off.
"Wait, I don't remember your soccer ball being popped like that." Margo said in confusion. "It was fine when I came over a week later and believe me, I recognized it."
"Lynn did you make up that story?" Carlotta asked.
Lynn just looked away.
"Looks like she did." said Frida with narrowed eyes.
"But why?" asked CJ.
"Guess we'll find out." shrugged Carlos.
[Enter Leni]
Leni: "Lincoln, come on! I need you."
Lincoln: "For what?"
Leni: "Don't be a dope. We talked about this tomorrow. I mean, yesterday."
[Lynn seems content about this.]
[In Lori and Leni's room, Leni is using Lincoln as a mannequin for a new design.]
Leni: [sewing] "I think my design for the Manotard is really working. Thanks for agreeing to be my model." [pokes Lincoln with needle.]
Lincoln: "Ow! Yeah, sure. So, um, let me ask you a hypothetical..." [realizing Leni would not know what "hypothetical" means.] "...I mean, a what-if question. Say you promised Lola you'd do something for her, but you forgot what it was."
Leni: [shoving needle into Lincoln in shock.] "LANDON! You're in huge trouble!"
Lincoln: "My name is Lincoln."
"Where did Landon come from?" asked Grant while Rita and Lynn Sr, sighed.
"Oh he was a kid that went to our school a year before the Santiagos moved away." said Becky.
"But he moved away too." said Dana.
"Yeah, all the way to New York." said Joey.
``He was such a gentleman." Leni said with a smile.
"Sounds like it." mused Fiona.
Leni: "You know what happens when you make Lola mad. Did I ever tell you about the tiara crisis?!"
[Flashback to the tiara crisis; Leni sits down in the chair only to hear a crunching sound and finds out she sat on Lola's favorite tiara; Lola sees the aftermath.]
Leni: "Oops. Sorry, Lola."
Lola: [with the same demonic grin from Lynn's flashback] "Oh, that's okay..."
"That face is creepy." Sameer gulped.
[In Lori and Leni's room, all of Leni's stuff is gone.]
Leni: "Where's all my stuff?!"
Lola: [outside] "Step right up, ladies and gentlemen! Free stuff!"
[Leni looks outside and notices that Lola is giving away all her stuff and gasps in demise.]
Lola: "My sister doesn't need this stuff, but you do!"
[End flashback]
"There is no way that happened!" said Mr. Grouse.
"Whaddya mean?" asked Principal Ramierez.
"I would've remembered that like I remember all of the Louds' antics." Mr. Grouse replied. "And I would've remembered the Princess Loud girl selling her sisters' stuff like all of their other yard sales."
"Leni did you make that up?" Miguel asked.
Leni looked away in shame.
Lincoln: [petrified] "All because you accidentally broke her tiara?"
Leni: [finished] "And viola! Okay, girls, fashion show!"
Lincoln: [embarrassed] "What? Girls? No way!"
Leni: "You promised."
[Leni's friends pop in and ogle Lincoln in the manotard; one of them even takes a selfie with him, much to his embarrassment.]
"Leni!" Lynn Sr. and Rita scolded.
"As much as we love fashion shows, one where your brother is in it and embarrassed isn't very nice Leni." Mandee scolded.
"Yeah, I would never do that to my little brother." Jackie added.
"I'm sorry Linky." Leni said in shame.
"It's OK Leni." Lincoln smiled. "I don't mind being you model nowadays… as long as it doesn't involve embarrassment."
Leni smiled a little at that.
Lincoln: "You sure I agreed to do this?"
Lori: "I believe your exact words yesterday were, "Whatever you say, sis"."
[It is shown that Lincoln is being used as an ottoman for Lori to paint her toenails.]
"LORI!" Rita and Lynn Sr. shouted, making Lori jump.
"That is not what your brother is for!" Rita scolded.
"Not cool Babe." Bobby browned.
Lori: [starts wiggling her toes] "So, I hear you got a little Lola problem."
Lincoln: [surprised that she knew] "How did you-"
Lori: "Word gets around. Now, listen to me, Lincoln. [pokes Lincoln on the nose twice with her finger for emphasis] You know what happens when you make Lola mad, so you'd better figure out what you promised her! Did I ever tell you about...Sneeze-ageddon?"
[Flashback to Sneeze-ageddon; Lola and Lori are sitting on the couch bored; Lola suddenly sneezes.]
Lola: "Achoo!"
Everyone gushed at Lola's sneeze.
"You're cute when you sneeze." Winston commented.
"Yeah, you sneeze like a kitten." Sid giggled.
"So adorable." Sam giggled.
Lola blushed at that.
Lola: [notices Lori right next to her and clears throat.] "I didn't hear a 'bless you'!"
[Lori rolls her eyes, ignoring her. Lola gets that demonic grin and glare again]
Bobby fainted.
"So scary…" Howard whimpered.
"You're really gonna do something over someone not saying 'Bless you'?" Stella asked.
Lola looked down at the bottom of her dress.
[Cut to a pot of boiling water on the stove that Lori passes by.]
Lori: "Has anyone seen my phone?" [notices the pot, opens the lid, uses tongs to pull out a familiar object, gasps to see that it's her phone now destroyed and screams in panic; end flashback.]
"Wait." Bobby said as he came to. "I would've remembered you telling that you couldn't respond to my calls and texts because your phone was boiled."
"Lori, did you make that up too?" Carol asked.
Lori looked away.
"What is with all the fake stories this episode?" Rosa asked.
"I guess we'll just have to watch Rosa." Hector shrugged.
Lincoln: [fearing immensely] "If she did all that stuff to you guys, what is she gonna do to me?"
Lori: "Maybe you should talk to Lana. I'm sure she'll be able to help you."
Lincoln: [relieved] "Of course! Thanks!" [gets ready to go]
Lori: "Ah ah ah! I haven't done my top coat yet."
[Lincoln resumes his ottoman position.]
Lynn Sr. and Rita glared at Lori, making her look away.
"I hope you don't do that to your brothers Carlotta." Carlos said to his daughter.
"Believe me Dad, I would never." Carlotta said.
"It's true." CJ and Carl said at the same time.
"Twue!" babbled Carlitos.
[Lola and Lana's room]
Lana: "You...WHAT?! You know what happens when you make Lola mad! I don't know what she wants you to do, but you'd better figure it out. Did I ever tell you about...the frog fiasco?"
Lincoln: [fearing immensely] "Do I wanna know about the frog fiasco?"
[Flashback to the frog fiasco; Lola is trying to apply some mascara when a frog croaks from behind her and makes her mess up.]
Lana: "Aww! You're a burpy-durpy today. Isn't he the cutest?"
Lola: [chuckling menacingly under demonic grin] "So cute..."
[Later, Lana is getting ready to feed her frog.]
Lana: "Who's hungry?" [notices he's not in his tank] "Seymour? Where'd you go?" [hears Lola whistling and notices her carrying a shovel, seeing that Lola killed and buried Seymour.] "NOOOOOOOOOO!"
[end flashback]
Lana: "I mean, I can't prove she took out Seymour...but I never saw him again."
"LOLA!" Lynn Sr. and Rita shouted in shock and horror, making Lola look away nervously.
"Hold on!" Albert exclaimed. "Lana lets me see all of her pets every time I video chat or visit, including the new ones, and I would've remembered a Seymour the frog."
"And Lucy would've told me and the Morticians Club about a recently deceased pet like we usually do at our meetings." said Haiku.
"And we would've seen a grave every time we'd come over." added Dante.
"Did you make that up too Lana?" Rocky asked.
Lana just sighed.
"Something tells me that everyone is making something up for a reason." mused Zach.
"Just like when something told you that the substitute janitor was an alien?" Mollie deadpanned.
"Hey, Mr. Zyruks acted suspicious the whole time!" Zach retorted.
Lincoln: [desperate and scared] "Lana, what am I gonna do?! It's almost 3:00! YOU GOTTA HELP ME!"
Lana: "Okay, okay. Take it easy." [thinks for a second] "I know! Why don't you just think of everything she might want you to do and then do it?"
Lincoln: "Everything?"
Lana: [despondently] "Remember Seymour?"
[Lincoln realizes he has no other choice and gives it a try; he polishes Lola's tiaras and beauty pageant trophies, cleans her side of the room and princess mobile, mows the lawn, and cleans the gutters.]
Lincoln: "Why does Lola care whether the gutters are clean?"
Lana: "I know. It's crazy, right?"
Everyone was now suspicious as the Louds began to trade nervous glances.
"Something stinks here." mused Nikki.
"And not like the wind broken by Lincoln, Lynn, Lana, and their grandfather." added Casey.
[Lincoln has even repaved the driveway.]
Lana: "Lola does love a smooth driveway."
"Everyone does." shrugged Chunk. "I know I do."
[Lincoln even makes topiary sculptures in Lola's honor to the point where he's too tired to keep doing these tasks.]
"You are such an artist Lincoln." Frida said in amazement. "You ever think about getting into the business?"
"Maybe when I'm older." Lincoln shrugged.
"You totally should." said Ronnie Anne. "You got a knack for it."
"He did draw his sisters as the Full House Gang." Clyde said in agreement.
"And a whole comic on it too." added Liam.
"Very creative indeed." Principal Huggins nodded.
Lincoln smiled and blushed at the praise.
Lincoln: [fatigued] "Phew...I did it..."
Lana: [sees the time] "One minute to 3:00. Good luck, Lincoln." [prepares to leave]
Lincoln: "Wait! Where are you going?"
Lana: "Somewhere safe. You know...just in case." [closes door and leaves]
[The time has come, and...Lola is not pleased...]
Lola: "LINCOLN! IT'S 3 O'CLOCK! YOU'VE FAILED ME!" [bursts in] "YOU KNOW WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU MAKE LOLA MAD!" [sports her demonic grin and has flames of fury in her eyes.]
"Lola Loud, you better not do something bad." Lynn Sr. said warnigly.
Lincoln: [begging for mercy] "I'm sorry! I would've done what you asked me, but I didn't hear you!" [reveals the buds] "I was wearing these. All I heard was the sound of waves. Or was it crickets? Doesn't matter! The thing is-"
Lola: [goes from blind with rage to suddenly calm and merciful.] "I know you didn't hear me."
Lincoln: "Huh?"
"HUH?!" everyone except the Louds and Clyde exclaimed in unison.
[The other sisters sans Lisa pop in with satisfied smiles.]
Lola: "You're not as clever as you think, Lincoln Loud."
[Flashback to what Lola was trying to tell Lincoln yesterday.]
Lola: [comes into Lincoln's room] "Lincoln, is this too much mascara? Be honest. It's super, super, super important!"
Lincoln: [having muted Lola out] "Aah. I couldn't agree more!"
Lola: [confused] "Agree with what?"
Lincoln: "Right back at ya!"
Lola: "Okay, you're weird."
"When he is, it's kinda adorable." Luan mused, making Lincoln blush.
[Lincoln's basketball shoots out of bounds and knocks over his wastebasket revealing the Noise-B-Gone package, which Lola notices, making her make that demonic grin she made in all those other flashbacks.]
"Busted!" Sergio squawked as everyone else went "Oh!"
Lola: [slyly] "So, Lincoln, are you the biggest dork in the world?"
Lincoln: [unable to hear her] "You can say that again!"
Lola: "And do you love the taste of dog poop?"
Lincoln: "You know it!"
"Clever, but mean." Benny said, unamused.
[Lola slyly smiles and tells the other sisters about the earbuds.]
Lori: "So, he's been tuning us out all day?"
[Lola nods]
Luna: "No wonder he didn't help me restring my guitar."
Lucy: "Or come to my séance."
Luan: "And that's why he didn't laugh at my jokes."
Lori: [sarcastically] "Yeah, that's why."
Lynn: [violently] "I'm gonna go rip out those earbuds and-"
Lola: "Oh, no, no. I've got a better plan!"
[End flashback]
"Wait, everyone made up those stories just to help Lola teach Lincoln a lesson for ignoring them!?" Sid exclaimed, everyone just as shocked as she was.
"Yep." Clyde nodded before glaring at the girls.
Everyone gave the sisters hard glares as well, making them gulp in unison.
"Not cool!" Ronnie Anne said angrily.
"I thought you were better than that Babe!" Bobby exclaimed, making Lori wince.
"You could've just confronted him about it instead of making him a nervous wreck all day!" Sam scolded.
"And torturing him with sparring, embarrassment, and a sore back." added Maria with a frown.
"Plus any other things we didn't see." Carlos added with crossed arms.
"We get that it wasn't nice of Lincoln to ignore you like that, but there are other ways of dealing with the situation." Arturo said sternly.
"Yeah, if my brothers ignored me, I'd talk to our parents about it." said Carlotta.
"What would they do if you ignored them?" asked Roger.
"I might get some sort of revenge." Carl said deviously.
"Not in my boss' apartment." Rosa said sternly, making Carl shut up.
"Me and Carlitos would go to Mom and Dad." said CJ.
"Did you two do something about this?" Albert asked.
"We did Dad." Rita nodded. "But we'll tell you after the episode is done."
Lincoln: "So, all that stuff you guys made me do today...that was all made up?"
[the sisters nod]
Lola: "Yep."
Lincoln: "I can't believe you guys pranked me like that."
Luna: "You had it coming, little bro. You can't just ignore us. We're your family."
Lori: "And remember, you're not the only one who has to live in a noisy house. We all do."
Lincoln: "True."
"You could've just told him that after calmly confronting him on the matter." Albert scolded, making the girls wince.
"And it's also ironic considering that you girls live in a noisy house yet never complain about it." Becky added.
[Just when all seems to have been resolved, Lisa rushes in in a panicked state.]
Lisa: "LINCOLN! LINCOLN! YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO HELP ME WITH MY LAB EXPERIMENT!"
Lincoln: [thinking she's in on it] "Okay, Lisa, you can give it a rest. I know all about your little joke."
Lisa: "What joke?" [notices earbuds] "I'm gonna need those." [takes them, puts them on, and hides under Lincoln's bed]
[There's a rumbling going on in Lisa and Lily's room and it causes a giant explosion that blows the entire roof off the house and land back on top the house, upside down. The explosion has also caused the other siblings to go deaf.]
Lincoln: "NOW I CAN'T HEAR ANYTHING!"
Everyone cringed.
"I remember that day." Mr. Grouse mused.
"Yep, that didn't end well." Kotaro nodded.
"Looks like you girls got your comeuppance too." mused Stella.
"Yeah, we literally did." Lori said in guilt.
"How did you forget to get Lisa invoked in your evil plan?" Rusty asked.
"I dunno." Lola shugged.
"Well that ended up being your undoing." Hector commented.
"Sure did." Luan sighed.
"So what happened after that?" asked Chaz.
"Well when Rita and I got home and found all of the kids deaf except for Lisa, plus the roof upside down, they told us everything." said Lynn Sr. "So we grounded the first 10 for 10 days since Lily didn't do anything to Lincoln."
"Lincoln for intentionally ignoring his siblings, Lisa for causing yet another explosion, Lola for getting the girls involved in her revenge plan, and the girls for making Lincoln go through such humiliation and lying to him." Rita nodded.
"Yeah you all had it coming." nodded Benny.
"How did you get rid of your deafness?" asked Sam.
"I was able to accomplish that… with some Czechoslovakian grant money." said Lisa. "I was able to create a chemical that eliminated deafness which healed my siblings… unfortunately, I was only able to make 20 drops, two each for my brother and sisters."
"And some of that money helped fix the roof from what Lincoln told me." Clyde added.
Lincoln sighed as he faced his sisters.
"Girls, I'm sorry for ignoring you that day." he said in guilt, rubbing his arm. "It wasn't very nice of me. If you guys needed something, I should've just turned those buds off and answered you. And I especially shouldn't have ignored you the whole day."
"We're sorry too Lincoln." Lori said in guilt. "We should've just confronted you on ignoring us in a calm way instead of getting revenge on you in embarrassing ways."
"But you guys wouldn't have done that if I hadn't suggested it." Lola said in guilt as she walked over to Lincoln. "I'm so sorry big brother. When I saw that you were using earbuds to ignore us, I should've just talked to you. I can see now how scared you were that day and I feel more rotten than expired cheese."
Lincoln smiled as he bent down to Lola's level. "Apology accepted." he said.
Lola smiled. "Apology accepted too." she said as she hugged her brother.
Lincoln looked up at his sisters. "You're forgiven as well." he said.
The girls smiled at that and hugged Lincoln as well.
"A lot of things are being forgiven today." mused Bobby.
"I'd say it's a good thing." Rosa smiled. "This way everyone's trust will increase."
After separating the hug, Lola hugged Lincoln a little longer and Lincoln held on as well before giving Lola a kiss on the head.
The two then rejoined their siblings as the next episode played.
To be continued…
And done! Up next, Space Invader.
