Later that night while Bruce was sitting there thinking, he saw the bat signal come on and knew there was crime coming. So he went down to the batcave, out on his suit, got in the batmobile, and stormed out of the batcave.
"Come in commissioner" said Batman. "Batman, The Scarecrow is antagonizing the Mayor with fear gas and needs your help desperately!" Commissioner yelled. "Oh boy this doesn't look too good. I'll be down there right away" Batman said.
At the Mayor's office, The Scarecrow is using his fear gas on the Mayor in order to antagonize him to allow fear toxins to be legal. "Ahhh go away! Don't hurt me!" the Mayor yelled. "Please give me an answer now! You either cut regulations relating to toxins and pollutions or you die in my hands!" Scarecrow exclaimed. "You've turned into a monster! You're no Scarecrow! You're a goblin!" Yelled the Mayor. Scarecrow then said, "A goblin huh? Well…" Then Batman storms right in through the window of the Mayor's office. "We meet again Scarecrow" Batman said. "Good to see you Batman but without your crew" Scarecrow said.
Batman then started to fight Scarecrow until he knocked him down with one of the shelves. He then freed the Mayor. "Ahhh an ogre!" yelled the Mayor. Batman then slapped him in order to come to his senses. "It's me Batman" Then the Mayor came to his senses and realized that he really was Batman. "Oh Batman thank you for saving me. Where's Scarecrow?" Scarecrow then wakes up from being unconscious. "You better leave while I finish with him" Batman said. The Mayor left as soon as Batman was going to finish dealing with Scarecrow. "You're not going to win this time Scarecrow!" Batman exclaimed. "That's what you think!" Scarecrow fired back as he unleashed his fear gas upon Batman.
As the fear gas landed upon Batman, The Joker appeared in it along with millions of bats. This caused him to fight The Joker where Scarecrow was not located along with screaming about the bats. "I'm back Batman! Did you miss me?" The Joker said. "Joker! I thought you died!" Batman said. "I didn't. I'm alive in your memories along with your past enemies and will take you down like I've never done before" The Joker then started to laugh as he tries to shoot him but misses. The bats then came down on him defeating him. "Ha ha ha ha ha! You've lost big time Batman! One day you will suffer the consequences!" Joker exclaimed as he began to laugh.
Commissioner Gordon and the police came into the office as Batman sees them as Joker's goons. Scarecrow unleashes his fear gas on them as they see Scarecrow as a monster and Batman as a real life large bat. Batman attacks them thinking they're Joker's goons but they run away along with Scarecrow who runs to the top of the building in his helicopter. Batman then wakes up after being unconscious from the police and Scarecrow knocking him out. "Where did they all go? And I swear I saw The Joker come back to life with his goons here and bats." Batman said as he left to his batplane.
