The Mando Jetii
The Clone War threatens the unity of the Republic. As battles rage across the galaxy more worlds succumb to the seductive lure of the Separatists and leave the Republic. On a vital mission of peace, Senator Padme Amidala journeys to the Outer Rim world of Rodia, desperate to ensure its loyalty remains to the Republic.

A Nubian cruiser exits hyperspace to the view of the planet, Rodia, though they had arrived behind schedule as like he had expected Senator Amidala did not agree with or want a Jedi escort as the was a Diplomatic mission of peace and she did not need protection.
However, Javak reminded her of Ziro the Hutt and The Malevolence. Though she argued some more, she finally relented on Javak accompanying her only if he agreed on certain condition's first.
These conditions were that Javak was officially not her Jedi bodyguard but rather her pilot and that upon arrival he would remain on this ship until her business is concluded. To which Javak agreed if it meant shutting her up.
After removing his armour and putting on Naboo security uniform, he took his place handling the controls of the cruiser while Bd-9 sat comfortably at his feet with Representative Binks and C-3PO sat behind him
As they approached the planet, they were contacted by Supreme Chancellor Palpatine.
"Senator Amidala, I just received word that you have travelled through enemy territory into the Outer Rim." Palpatine said to her.
"Senator Farr requested me personally, Chancellor. His planet is in crisis. His people are starving. He's a very old family friend. I could not refuse his plea for help." Senator Amidala said strongly throughout before softening at the end.
"I understand, but in these dangerous times, you should be accompanied by a clone escort." Palpatine told her.
"This is a mission of peace. I put my faith in diplomacy. We can't solve all our problems by throwing troops at them." She replied unaware of the eye roll Javak made at hearing this.
"Yousa no needin' to worry Chancellor. As the representative of Nab-" Representative Binks started speaking before the protocol droid tripped him up making him fall forwards hitting a button that made the engines accelerate out of control before Javak pulled back on the controls, bringing the ship back under control
"Sit down, Di'kut." Javak snapped at the Gungan who quickly did so but wasn't looking where he was going and sat on the gold-coloured droid ending with both of them on the floor
"Mir'osik" Javak mutter with a shake of his head
"Well, at the very least you have a padawan to look after you, but may I recommend that only those who are qualified for these delicate peace talks participate in them?" Palpatine asked as Amidala gives Jar Jar Binks a sideways glance then looks at Javak who is focusing on piloting the ship.
"I will follow your advice, Chancellor." The Senator said in respect before ending the communication.
As Javak pilots the ship down through the planet's atmosphere and heads towards one of the Domes that can be found on this planet that are similar to the ones on Mandalore.
Once he was given landing clearance the Dome opened its security door allowing them entrance. Javak set the ship down on the platform before shutting down the power to the ship's engines.
Lookee, lookee, it's a swamp planet just like home. Meesa have to get going." Representative Binks said with excitement.
"Jar Jar, you would be doing me a great favour by staying with the ship." Amidala said to Jar Jar trying to convince him to stay.
"Meesa knowing meesa be big help with the negotiations." Jar Jar attempted to argue back.
"I need you to watch over 3PO. You know how he always gets himself into trouble." Amidala said
"Trouble, me? Really?" 3PO said in disbelief
"I won't be long." Amidala said to Jar Jar binks.
"Meesa understand, my lady." Jar Jar said with his head lowered.
"Padawan Kryze, you are to remain here as well." She said turning her attention to Javak who hadn't said a word since the Gungan's fumble.
"Understood, Senator." Javak simply said as Senator Amidala put on her purple poncho and walked down the ramp of the ship.
"I see why Master Skywalker likes her, they're both thick-headed Di'kuts that act as if they're invincible." Javak said to BD-9 who beeped in agreement.
A FEW MINUTES LATER
Javak had decided to leave the ship as he had a gut feeling that something was off on this planet and he was shortly joined by Representative Binks and 3PO.
While Javak kept his eyes on the only way in or out of the hanger, he could hear Jar Jar attempt to communicate with the local wildlife that resulted in 3PO being hit in the face by fruit to which both he and BD-9 shake their heads at each other
When the door opened and rather than seeing Senator Amidala returning it was B1 battle droids instead.
Javak ignites his lightsaber as the four Battle Droids opened fire at him. He deflects the bolt back at the droids destroying two of them before channelling the force into his legs so that he could leap through closing the 100-foot distance between him and the droids where he made quick work of the remaining two only to drop flat on the ground barely managing to avoid the crane that 3PO is magnetically stuck too.
While this is happening, the door opens again and a crab droid comes through firing at Javak who charges at it deflecting and dodging bolts as when he is close enough executes a force leap landing on top of the crab droid and thrust his saber down through the droid's front destroying it before slicing it in half making sure it stays down.
As Javak heads back over to the ship, he sees the crane that 3PO was stuck to slams down... straight onto the Nubian Cruiser.
"Oh, for fuck's sake." Javak mutters as he stands there looking at the ship before turning to the Gungan before climbing inside the ship, shortly joined by the Gungan and Protocol droid.
"Thisa one big mess. Weesa going nowhere." Jar Jar said bringing light to their situation.
"You think?" Javak asked the Gungan sarcastically.
"Perhaps we should try to contact the clone troopers." C-3PO suggested.
"Good suggestion. Unfortunately, half of the ship is totalled which includes the communication transmitter as well." Javak said to the protocol droid gesturing to the front part of the ship.
"Well, we can't wait around as when those droids don't report in then more are going to come here and if there are droids here then the Senator has been captured... again. So, I'll go and get her out." He told 3PO
"But Master Kryze, Mistress Padme gave us specific instructions to remain here." C-3PO reminded him.
"Plans changed." Javak told the droid.
"Good then, weesa will go with you." Jara Jar said before Javak stopped him.
"I'd move faster on my own. But you two should go hide until backup arrives. Parts of the swamp might be a good idea." Javak said as he got out of his uniform and put his armour back on.
"Much better." He sighed at feeling the familiar weight once again.
"Are you sure about this sir, there's no telling what you will face." 3-PO said unoptimistic about the plan.
"I'll handle it, let's go BD." He said as BD-9 climbed his back then the two left the ship.
"We're Doomed." C-3PO said to himself.
Javak and BD-9 made their way quickly and quietly across the courtyard when Javak noticed Senator Farr and his attendant were leading Nute Gunray and a squad of battle droids from a different landing platform.
"Unsurprising that the cowardly worm would turn up here given his history with Naboo." Javak said with BD-9 agreeing with him.
"Alright, BD. I need you to sneak past all the droids and find a communication station and be careful and I'll go get the Senator." Javak told BD-9.
However, before either of them could move a Battle droid noticed Jar Jar and C-3PO.
"Look, a Jedi." the droid called alerting the others. And drawing Javak's attention as well who sighed heavily when he saw them.
Gunray ordered his droids to kill the 'Jedi' which resulted in C-3PO surrendering and Jar Jar ran and fell through a floor grate and into the water below.
"Of all the Di'kuts I had to be stuck with, these two are the worst. BD-9, go now." Javak said as the droid scurried away, Javak used force dash to slip past the droids, heading around to where he assumed Senator Padme was being kept.
Unbeknownst to both Javak and Gunray, Senator Padme had cleverly managed to escape from her cell. Now armed with an E-5 blaster rifle, she made her way through the Rodian Prison Tower and eventually heard the familiar voice of C-3PO who was being escorted by two battle droids, however before she could save him, both droids were lifted off the ground and crush to pieces by an invisible force before being tossed into a nearby empty closet. Padme raised her blaster but then lowered it when Javak stepped into view.
"Senator. Are you alright?" Javak asked her.
"I'm fine." The Senator replied.
"Mistress Padme! Oh, thank the maker you're safe." 3PO said to her
"Have you-?" The droid began talking some more before Javak covered his mouthpiece and they quickly moved into a different closet to avoid a three-droid patrol.
"Where's Jar Jar?" She asked when the coast was clear.
"Well, I'm afraid he went to rescue you." The droid replied.
"I told you two to stay at the ship." Javak said to the droid.
"He fell into a floor grate and is somewhere under the city. At least we now know why Senator Farr wanted you specifically. I saw Nute Gun arrive with a squad of battle droids." Javak informed the Senator who began to think this new information over.
"If the Viceroy is here. This could be our chance to capture him, 3PO go back to the ship and call for help." Padme told 3PO.
"I regret to inform you Mistress but the communication transmitters on the ship are out of order." C-3PO informed the Senator.
"What?" Padme asked the droid then looked to Javak.
"He means that the ship had been destroyed." Javak told her
"Battle Droids?" Padme asked.
"No, That Gungan. Anyway, I tasked BD-9 with infiltrating the Communication Station to contact the nearest Republic fleet." Javak explained.
Senator Amidala began thinking on this new information and then turned to Javak.
"I think I have a plan, but I'll need your assistance Padawan Kryze." She said to him as Javak had a feeling that he wasn't going to like this plan.
Shortly after Jar Jar's little rescue attempt...
Padawan Javak Kryze was walking down a corridor when he turned a corner and stopped when a Droid patrol spotted him.
"A Jedi! Blast him!" the droids opened fire as Javak began running away barely avoiding being hit.
He began leading the droids outside into the courtyard where the sounds of blaster fire drew in more droids and some super battle droids who signalled for more reinforcements. Once Javak had reached the centre of the courtyard, the familiar sound of a lightsaber being ignited rang out as he began assumed Soresu and began deflecting blaster bolts as more droids arrived and slowly but surely began surrounding him.
With the intensity of the amount of blaster fire that Javak was receiving he didn't notice the arrival of three Destroyer droids until they began firing. Javak couldn't keep going with the amount of blaster fire and six bolts slipped through his defence hitting him in the chest, shoulder and helmet knocking him off his feet. Which the droids used to close in on him and pointed their blasters at him.
"Don't move! You're surrounded Jedi, Surrender." A droid demanded to which Javak did so.
"Haar'chak!" Javak said as two B2 Super Battle droids lifted him onto his feet as a B1 comes behind him and pulls his arms behind his back and bind his hands together with magnetic binders. The droids lead him to another courtyard and lined him up against the wall.
"Ah, it would seem I had nothing to fear from you, Mandalorian." Gunray taunted. As the three destroyers came rolling over, unfolded and activated the energy projectors.
"When we have killed you, the Senator will be next." Gunray said confidently.
"Don't do this, viceroy. I beg you, do not kill him. There must be another way." Senator Farr begged.
"Silence!" Gunray shouted at the Rodian Senator before looking back at Javak.
"Ready! Aim." Gunray ordered but before he could finish a large green slug came up from under the grate crushing the nearest destroyer under its weight then destroyed the second.
Javak took this unexpected ally as a good and jumped up and looped his hands under his feet and back before executing a quickly charged force repulse that obliterated the nearby droids into dust and landed then using the force to summon his lightsaber to him and once back in his hands used it to broke his binders then went after viceroy catching up to him and force jumped in front of him block his escape as the giant Slug pushed his over the edge and into the water below.
"Hold it right there, viceroy." Amidala told him pointing her blaster at his back forcing him to stop and turn around when Senator Farr arrived with an E-5 blaster.
"At last, we can finish this." Senator Farr said.
"Onaconda, it is about time. Blast that Jedi and shoot her!" Gunray demanded as Amidala lowered her blaster and turned to the Rodian. While Javak stood ready to intervene but sense that he didn't need to.
"Uncle Ono, I think it's time to tell the viceroy about our little secret, how you never meant to leave the Republic and how you truly care about what's best for your people." Padme said look at Nute Gunray.
"What is she talking about?" Gunray asked.
"Sorry, viceroy, she is right. I am with the Republic and you are under arrest." Senator told him
"You will pay for this treachery." Nute Gunray warmed him.
"Viceroy, you are going to spend the rest of the war in a cell." Padme told Gunray as she pointed her blaster back at his head.
"Your victory will be fleeting Senators." Nute Gunray told then as a Republic Venator flew overhead and three gunships flew down.
The Gunships landed as troopers of the 41st Elite Corp jumped out and moved in surrounding the viceroy.
"We got your message, Commander. What are your orders?" Commander Gree asked Javak after saluting him as BD-9 came scurrying up his back.
"Well done BD, al'verde. take this Separatist scum away." Javak ordered him as the sound of a holo-vid activating drew their attention as a holo-image of Chancellor Palpatine appeared.
"Senator Amidala has brought your people's needs to my attention, and I have already sent a convoy of supply ships to your system." Palpatine informed Senator Farr.
"Thank you, Chancellor." The Senator replied gratefully.
"The capture of Viceroy Gunray is a major victory for the Republic. All of you should be commended for your courage and from what I hear, especially you, Representative Binks." The Chancellor continued and singled out Jar Jar for praise who blushed and said that it was nothing.
After the Chancellor's holo-image faded away Padme turned to the Senator. Who asked for her forgiveness but said that it was the Republic that should be asking for forgiveness and that far too often we forget that our most important allies are not always the strongest.
Javak at this point has had enough of the diplomatic speech and got onboard the Gunship more than ready to leave this swamp.
