Christmas Miracles
Chapter 23th
Sometime later ...The two undercover agents for the DOD with the pilot was able to fly through the weather with the snow having stopped altogether in the tri state region.
Receiving the clearance from the tower of Dulles international airport area C for small planes was able to land on runway sixth. Both of the undercover agents will be escorted as with the pilot for a debriefing once they land.
Senator Stevin Hill had sent the escort to bring back to the senator chambers for the debriefing with the late hour.
Moving out of the small plane. All three of the them noticed the escorts to take them back in a large black truck good enough for the ride with the roads still treacherous and icy for the most part. Sergeant Elliott age 42 asked the three to follow him and the other two security escorts to move out of the section. While the plane was going to be surfaced.
Taking deep breaths with the crisp cold air. They were finally happy that they were home after a year of being of undercover.
Neither of the agents were married making it easier on them for the most part.
Heading out of the field onto the roads. Snow plows were still working hard to remove the snow along with the side streets making it hard to get around...Relaxing in the back of the truck with supplies to drink water, coffee and sandwiches for which the three of them highly appreciate it greatly...

Meanwhile the next few days was much easier on everyone especially for Gibbs with his wife able to come and visit him in the hospital. The snowplows were now removing the snow around from all of the roads and most of them the side streets.
She had mention to Vance that she was leaving the house with using Gibbs truck to make it easier with the traction of the roads. Though mostly to protect herself with the pregnancy. Madeline wished her the best with moving back inside the house to check on Shane with Phineas arriving to play with him. Whether or not Madeline was going to allowed them to finish up with the snowman. Though Christmas was over with New Year's to be arriving.
Loreile arrived at the hospital without a problem from the snow or mostly the ice. She moved into the underground parking lot finding the perfect space near the elevator. She was very much anxious to visit with her husband no matter what kind of mood he might be in with the news about the death of Hernandez.
Parking the truck with making sure the doors were locked. She headed for the elevator with pressing the sixth floor button to head up. She stopped at the security area to have her pass given instead of heading down stairs. This was much easier to do with her pass given and with heading down the hall to his room.
None of the doctors were around in order for her to asked questions. Reaching his door with needing to take in a deep breath. She knocked on his door to let him know that someone was coming inside.
She found him with his eyes closed with the tv on with the local news. "I guess by now you're bored with the same old weather report?" She joked with his face lighting up with the sight of his wife looking gorgeous with her change in makeup.
"Actually I am Loreile. Bored out of my mind." As he picks up the remote to bring up his head further.
"Maybe you can get out of here soon and then you won't be bored with plenty to watch at home until you're able to walk better?"
"I am working on that Loreile. Right now my balance is still off with the physical therapist working me hard along with the exercises in bed."
"Having the type of injuries your body had taken. Shock is the worse. However you were able to fight it all of the way to be at this point. I am just you're here alive and even talking to me at all."
"Tell me about it Loreile. I do know that Doctor Grace is scheduling a number of sessions for me as with even Doctor Sterling."
"Sloane's replacement. I am still trying to get used to style of working for NCIS." She stated with pulling up a chair without hurting her stomach...
"By the way how are you doing as with Shane?" Gibbs asked with worried for himself and his marriage.
"Much better in a big way Jethro. However for Shane, he can't wait to have his father back again now at the end of his ninth month of age. I left and I have a feeling that Shane and Phineas were going to finish up with the snowman they built. I have photos I was able to take on the phone. I will show them to you." She brought up the five photos onto the screen with the snow falling hard at that particular time..
"Here we go Jethro." She hands him the phone with the photos as his face brighten with seeing his son so big as with Phineas.
"I can't believe just how big Shane has gotten. I really can't believe all of you were outside in that weather with the heavy snowfall?" Gibbs said with checking out the rest of the photos.
"Tell me about it Jethro. We were lucky that none of us had gotten sick in the process?" She takes the phone back into her hands watching her husband having a trouble with his breathing. She understood that his lungs had been affected from the torture with the many times he was whipped by the soldiers. "Try and take it easy please?"
"I am trying Loreile. I am just anxious to have this nightmare over with already." He stated...
"Yes, I know. However your body needs to recover from the shock of what had happened. And remember that you're not 30 plus years old anymore to make matters worse." She responded with a kiss to his lips to make him feeling better...
"Thank you." He replied.
"For what?" She had to asked with the question.
