Sitting within her chair within the news room of Westerlund news, Khalisah Bint Sinan al-Jilani waited for her scheduled report before the Vidscreen behind her came to life with a symbol saying hacked with a graffiti style.
Sooner showing the face of Troy calypso as he was seen fiddling with the camera.
Smiling in triumph he lifted it up to attach it to his cybernetic arm, showing Tyreen arming an Heavy Machine gun, along with the Mercenary Iron Lord.
And seeing this footage was being shown Live across the entire galaxy… the entire news room erupted into chaos until Loki spoke on screen.
"Alright you two, this will be the first time you've encountered Hive unlike me, Drack and Vetra. You two are green horns in this mission." Watching the man lift up Sweet Business.
"We will be dealing with all kinds of fucked up nightmares down there, eradicating them is first priority, Saren will no doubt also be down there, So finding that Plant is at the moment second priority no matter what the council says, the fact they got this far out here is saying something" seeing Tyreen nod, the Iron Lord turned and stepped out with troy following, showing an opening of a cave where Loki's Crawlers stood watch, hearing a screech from inside, a thin horrific creature came rushing out at them if not for a sniper round to nail it in the head, from Troy's POV. A line of blue hit the creature within seconds of being seen, watching Loki reach for the side of his helmet, he spoke.
"John, Garrus, Alenko, Ash. Keep all snipers trained on this opening, scans from penny tell this is the only entrance into the Broodhold, if we're lucky we wont have to deal with a Brood mother"
"Will do, be careful down there" seeing Loki nod, he turned and entered the entry with Troy and Tyreen following.
Showing the crude cave within with many things coating the wall, startling the viewers at seeing large worm like eggs pulsating until Loki jabbed a knife, spilling the infant within he showed no hesitation with stomping on it.
Shocking the viewers of his heartlessness of killing what could be described as an infant, though that was until the entire cavern rumbled, making the three in the Vid tense up and aim their weapons with Loki cursing.
"I was fucking hoping nothing would happen when I did that" moving forward down a crawlspace, Loki cracked a glowstick before throwing it down further, startling the three at the sight of an army of thrall in a deep sleep below, eerily standing upright, even seeing large Knights looming in silence with the occasional Acolyte chittering while easing a stretch.
Seeing the sight, Loki turned to the twins with a hand raised to his mouth beneath the helmet, pressing a button, his voice echoed in a private channel, his voice blocked from his helmet.
"Keep quiet, the less they know we're here the easier it will be to deal with the Broodmother, Tyreen, you have those explosives" seeing the camera turn to the female twin, she patted her back where a sling holding several canisters sat, some glowing a dull orange, blue and purple.
"Got them" nodding, the three began to slowly move through the horde of sleep, being extra careful to not touch any of the Hive, it was there at the moment Troy stood on a worm, making it yelp at it's tail being stepped on, making Troy stumble in his step to not kill it, making the three plus those watching freeze up as a ripple of chitter echoed over the sleeping horde, making the three pale at the current position they were in until the horde was calmed as the worm troy had stepped on chittered back, allowing the horde to settle once more, allowing the three a moment to sigh in relief, seeing Loki look at the walls, a lone large opening… making Loki stop and stare at the large opening before he cursed once more.
"Crap, not a Broodmother, how the hell did an Ogre land on this planet?" moving towards the opening, troy and Tyreen followed, with Troy being extra careful on where he set his footing.
Meanwhile, setting down at her own workstation, Tali frowned in thought while the crew of the Normandy and Iron Banner watched in silence.
"Ogre?" tilting her head in thought, Petra sat in wait with her right foot twitching in place, her mandibles showing her anxiety.
"An Ogre is the largest thing from the Hive we've encountered, hell if we put it against a Thresher Maw it may fight to a stand still" turning to Drack, Tali and Wrex stared at the ancient Krogan, with Wrex showing a face of actual worry as he turned back to the Vid.
"How big was the last Ogre you faced, old man?" turning to Wrex as he crossed his arms, Drack spoke with all seriousness.
"About the size of a newborn Maw, and from what I've seen during our extermination jobs, they can grow even bigger" feeling her own anxiety build up, Tali held her elbows while watching the vid in silence, seeing the three were now in a large, almost catholic like room, sporting even podiums.
Ducking behind a rock formation as a patrol moved by, Troy was hunkered down beside Tyreen.
Seeing Loki peek out of the cover, he turned to them to gesture for them to follow, moving across to another large opening. Loki moved the twins through a small opening, moving in himself he stopped at feeling the opening behind him darken with a crash, turning he jumped at the sight of an Ogre's maw biting at where he was.
"Oh great, it's smart enough to be quiet" moving after the twins, the man heard them both cry out in alarm as they fell down a slimey tube before finding themselves falling towards a large catacomb.
Seeing the two grab whatever they could on the wall, the sight of a open Cavern before them stunned those watching.
And in the middle of this catacomb… was a weakly pulsating plant with what remained of a human research building.
"Well, there's the Thorian, so I guess we can find a way to get what we need from it?" seeing Troy turn to Loki, the man stared at the sight before he leaned forward to see… Great, Geth.
"We got Geth down there, no doubt they dug in, but if the Geth are here, where's Sar-EN!" flinching at just dodging a shot aimed for his head, Loki and Troy turned to see the Traitor himself standing on a floating platform, a sniper in hand, Loki turned to the twins.
"Get to the Thorian, if it cooperates make a deal to get it off world, if that don't work, Tyreen, threaten to eat it with you're biotics" nodding to him the duo slid down while Loki leaped onto a walkway, missing a shot to the head, Loki aimed Sweet Business and walked backwards, the barrel spinning Saren's eyes widened in alarm as the hail of bullets missed him barely, moving the platform, he was about to flee towards the Thorian until he turned to see Loki shooting towards him as a living Lightning bolt.
Crashing into the Platform, those watching from Troy's Point of View stared in shock and Horror as the camera zoomed in on Loki and Saren in a fist fight as it crashed against the other wall across.
Turning back to follow Tyreen, Troy and his sister dropped down through the Catacomb, Troy surging forward to chokeslam a Geth, a Stealth unit was torn in two by Tyreen's biotics.
Seeing the Thorian in sight, they stopped to get rid of the Geth.
"Why is this so annoying?" standing up to fire a grenade from his prosthetic, the following explosion shook the cavern with Tyreen throwing a Geth over the edge.
"You find this annoying, this is the first action we've seen since joining Loki!" was all Tyreen laugh as she grabbed a Geth and held it tightly, making it squirm as it's power was drained from it's current form, the following Geth stopped momentarily before stepping back in alarm as the Terror twins advanced.
Ducking as a vine whipped the Geth, the duo turned to the Sentient plant as it pulsed before an Asari was spat out, naked and covered in green mucus.
Seeing the Green Asari stand up, she was about to speak until the cavern shook as Saren and Loki' hover form crashed into the ground with Loki sporting dust on his armor, Saren gave a groan as he stood up.
Turning to fire his side arm, they both froze as the wall into the Catacomb crashed open with a roar echoing.
Turning to the cloud, Loki paled as the Ogre registered on his HUD as an Ascendant Ogre, even having a name.
Jirax Hivun.
Turning to the twins with a rush, Saren stared at the beast in awe before he turn and hid from it's sight. It's sight solely on Loki and it's Prize… the Thorian.
Giving a roar of rage, Loki called out to Tyreen and Troy who had moved to the Asari.
"The Thorian, it gave it's life… the Hive… drained it's essence… the Protheans" moving to run away from the now dried up husk of the Living Plant, Troy his current passenger and Tyreen ran alongside Loki.
"Speak later Lady, we have a Hive bomb to outrun" reaching for the pack on Tyreen's back, the echo of the entire Hive awakening made them all to run faster with Loki priming the explosive, turning he tossed it at the Orge which gave a roar of rage as it gave chase, running on all fours even.
Which spurred Loki to run fast to catch up with the others as they ran towards a Prothean built building reaching upward.
"That better have a working elevator or so help me" seeing a door open, thankfully with a working elevator, Loki was near the door until a Knight charged into his side.
Sliding on his back as the others turned to his downed form, Thrall came rushing at him.
"GO!" seeing them turn to come and help, Loki's biotics took on a darker tone as his being was covered in an ice aura.
Before he brought his arms down with a wave of deep blue crystals rising from his position, freezing thrall and Acolytes. Loki leaped into the air to crash back down with a wave of ice rising from his right fist, turning to the Ogre, Loki gave a roar of challenge as he rushed it, slamming his hands into the ground, the Ogre's legs were frozen solid with Loki booking it after his companions.
Who were fiddling with the elevator. Sliding onto his knee's with sweet Business mowing down thrall, the Asari shoved troy aside to work the elevator.
Thankfully succeeding as Loki continued to mow down the horde.
Seeing them safely rising away from the cavern. Loki turned to the Asari before looking away to show respect, Tyreen forcing Troy to look away as the Asari stood butt naked before them… it was this moment the Alien took notice of her predicament by covering herself.
Setting himself down, Loki brought out a trigger before opening his comm to Sheperd.
"Shep, is the planet evacuated?"
Hearing nothing but the crackling of his comms, the voice of John made him sigh.
"Yes, the whole planets been evaced, why?"
"just making sure when this thing detonates we won't have any stragglers" pressing the trigger with a timer popping up, he tossed it down the shaft as they came to the surface. Standing up he spoke.
"Also I forgot to set a proper timer SO BOOK IT PEOPLE!" hearing him say that, the terror Twins yelled in alarm.
"YOU WHAT!?" following that was the site being emptied out with the ground team set above the facility upon the request of Joker and Troy, the two holding vid-recorders to watch the purge.
Watching the site out of the window, Tali and Liara stood beside the Asari who wore a towel to hide her modesty.
"So what exactly is that bomb?" turning to Sheperd as he relived his foot of his armors boots, Loki spoke.
"I managed to have Penny take some of my Biotics and weaponize it, it's like a Safe to use Nuke… you just gotta be far enough from the blast" standing up, the window lit up as a multicoloured aurora like cloud rose from the site with the buildings rising up in pieces with Hive seen among the debris, the head of the Ogre among said debris before it all sunk down into a… increasingly growing Crater that stretched outward for miles…
Seeing this, all eyes turned to a stunned Loki.
"I was not expecting that" watching the sight of fireworks a second further, a lone ship flew away from the explosion with no one noticing.
